Win 8 - Photosmart c4580 not scan with wifi miss HP Solution Center

My printer is the Photosmart c4580, and i have the Windows 8 64-bit OS.
I can print throw my wi-fi connection, But i can't scan.
If i want scan i must plug the usb cable (10meters long because the printer is in the other room).
I want to see the ink level and i can't because i i don't have the HP Solution Center in win8.
Try installing the win7 drivers and Solution Center (PS_AIO_04_C4500_USW_Full_Win_WW_130_140.exe) (Proprieties - run win7 mode), and the program crashes.
What can i do for scan using my wifi connection and installing HP Solution Center

C3-00 Mail is not working with Wifi

I have Nokia C3-00, Its good set but the problem appeared when i tried to use my office Wifi connection in my mobile. Email and communities are not working with Wifi while messenger and browsing is very good with Wifi. However i have used Mail option (gmail, hotmail, yahoo) with my mobile GPRS connection that is working fine but not with Wifi. GPRS is very costly and i want to use office Wifi with my mobile to use email application. Please help me out. Thanks Adnan

There was an issue with messaging in the original software on the C3, so make sure that you are up-to-date. To check your software version try *#0000#
Latest software release for Nokia C3-00 is 08.63
Your service provider may not have the latest nokia version available, but make sure you have the most recent you can get.
Menu > Settings > Phone> Phone Updates > Downl. phone software

When you say it "can not scan any wifi network" do you mean it is not detecting Wi-Fi networks?
Is Wi-Fi turned on in Settings > General > Wi-Fi?
Have you tried Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings?
Is it just the home network that the device will not connect to? or any network?

IMessage does not work with wifi

My iMessage feature on Iphone 5 does not work with wifi setting... I have to turn DATA on for any messages to be received or sent! I've noticed others with same problem...any fixes yet? I've updated iOS, etc...

It works with WiFi & 3G.

Hi , and I see you are both having trouble scanning after upgrading to Windows 10, and I may be able to help. Most products do have updated software available on HP's support website for Windows 10. I've also seen a few posts that say the Windows 8.1 driver will work for Windows 10 as well, so you could try that too. HP provides a free tool called HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and resolve printing and scanning problems. I recommend downloading and running the HP Print and Scan Doctor, if it doesn't fix it automatically let me know what errors or messages you receive. Do you know if you are able to scan using Paint? Missing HP Solution Center

Missing HP Solution Center for an HP Officejet j6480. Have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. Can no longer uninstall program. Was trying to install newest version of the software. Any ideas? HP support ideas were worthless.

i uninstalled my HP c309g printer, reinstalled now my Solution Center is missing. I can't find a link to reinstall. HP is no help.

C4580 not working with os x 10.9

Since I upgraded to OS X 10.9, my C4580 printing was not working properly. The problems are as follows -
1. HP Scan, I can scan an image and saw it on the computer screen, but once I saved it, it's only a file in black with some
white line on it. No matter what I scan, it's just the same black with white stripes.
2. Everytime I scanned an image, I cannot scan another image. I have to quit HP scan then restart it to make another scan but of course I cannot save the file.
3. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer, now HP Photosmart Studio disapppeared. I can't find it in the file no more.
4. Before I upgraded to OS X 10.9, I have already had a problem using it. Everytime I made changes to a picture using this, I cannot continue to work on another picture. I have to quit it and restart it again.
Does anyone has a clue how to solve these problems?

I understand you're receiving some problems with your Photosmart C4580. I will do my best to assist you! For the first inquiry, once you save the document, it's black with white lines. I would like to test out the hardware within your printer. Could you copy a document and let me know if you receive the same results?
If so, please follow this entire HP document on Vertical Bands, Lines, or Streaks in Copies or Scans.
For the 2,3,4 inquires, this printer doesn't have a full feature software available for your operating system. Please follow this HP document on OS X v10.9 Mavericks: Installing and Using the Printer on a Mac. You can only download a basic print driver through the Apple update. You won't have the same features you had from the full feature software.
You can try the three scanning workarounds provided from this document to see if this works. I will be looking forward to hearing from you. Have a great night!

Photosmart C310 not scanning from the All in One.

Since reloading drivers after viruses, the scanner asks me to scan from the computer. I used to scan direct from the C310.
I tried to scan from the printer's webpage but the save button was missing. My only options are PDF or jpeg images now. I just want documents. Can anyone give me any advice please?

I understand you're unable to scan from the front panel of the Photosmart Premium C310A. I will do my best to assist you! First, I need to find out your operating system on your computer? Windows or Mac?
How is this printer connected? Wireless or USB?
If you have a Windows computer, please follow this entire HP document on Windows: A 'No Scan Options' or 'Scan settings are not set' Message Displays on the Printer.
You can scan from the Solution Center for more scanning options. I will provide this HP document on How to Scan from the Solution Center (Windows). If you would like to scan using Web Scan, then I will provide an example on how to save the document:
You have to right click with your mouse on the scanned image and select save image as. I will be looking forward to hearing from you. Have a great day!

Photosmart D110 cannot scan with Mac OS X Yosemite

HI there, I recently update my Mac Book to the OS X Yosiemite software and since then I cannot use the scanner on my printer. I am able to print wirelessly but when I try to scan it says that the scanner is not compatible with operating system. Can you please recommend how to solve this problem? Thank you

I understand you're having issues with scanning after a Mac update. I am hoping to help!
To get started, there is no driver available for the Photosmart C5180 on Yosemite, meaning you will not be able to scan using HP scan, as there is no HP scan software available. You do have other scanning options however. Here are my suggestions:
Mac OS X: How to reset the printing system
Repair disk permissions
Restart the Mac
Follow this guide: Installing Your HP Printer Driver and Software for Mac OS X
In addition, download this driver: HP Printer Drivers v3.0 for OS X
Your scanning options are in #4, and should have you scanning in no time.

HP Photosmart scanner not recognized with IMAC OSX 10.9.3

after updating to Maverick osx 10.9.3 my hp photosmart scanner is not recognized with IMAC image capture. I have done all software upgrades and deleted the printer and reinstalled the printer which is on my wireless network.

HP office jet 6600 will not scan via wifi to PC

Hi there,
The scanner is not communicating with the PC (whereas the printing fuction is working as normal), is the device required to be connected by cable for the scanning function to work or how do I get the PC to be recognised?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I see you are looking into your scan options. I would like to try and help.
Due to the age of the printer, there is no HP software for this printer on Mavericks. You can, however, utilize the Mac in-OS basic print and scan drivers. I am including a document on Installing and Using the Printer on a Mac that should help resolve this, specifically the section of the document entitled "How do I scan with the driver from Apple Software Update?"
