Win CSXS Infrastructure 3.0.2 update - download link needed
Hello,
I am restricted to manually updating Adobe Creative Suite 6.0 on my work computer and I cannot locate the Windows CSXS Infrastructure 3.0.2 update. I did locate the CSXS 3.0.2 Mac update. I tried Adobe support… The call-back service was not available, live chat directed me to phone support and I gave up after my 2-4 minute estimated wait time exceeded 45 minutes. Way to go Adobe support...
If anyone could post the Windows CSXS Infrastructure 3.0.2 update/download link, it would be greatly appreciated.

Error U44M1P7 from CSXS Infrastructure 4.0.2 update
Got to work this morning, and Creative Cloud pops up an update message. Goodie, I thought.
There were updates for the following applications, all of which were the CSXS Infrastructure 4.0.2 update:
- Dreamweaver CC
- Illustrator CC
- InCopy CC
- InDesign CC
- Photoshop CC
All applications were fully up to date. System is Windows 7 x64.
All updates fail, with the same error message: U44M1P7.
From poring through the log file, the issue appears to be:
DF045: File corruption detected. Re-install the product & then apply the patch again. (Can not repair file "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEPServiceManager4\zlib1.dll")(Seq 4)

I have seen the solution provided at http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-u44m1p7-installing-updates-ccm.html and this is not realistic.
I am not going to reinstall all of the applications I need to do my job just because an installer thinks a single DLL is corrupt. Especially not when the installer in question is a minor point update for a shared library.
The error from the log makes it seem the suggested cause (removing language packs) is not the issue here. But for the record, I have not used any such programs nor made any alterations to any of the applications since install.Hi ajacombs,

Where is the Acrobat 8.1 Professional update download link?
I've spent all afternoon searching for it and can't find it. I can find every other link for 8.1.1 all the way up to 8.3.1, but no link to 8.1, which I had downloaded a few years ago.
Also, does anyone know if I have to install all the way up to 8.3.1 since I just use it for text and not 3D?
Please help, because I just reinstalled my original version of 8.0 and it's got the original problem with printing.
I can't afford to buy a new version right now since I'm out of work. Thanks for your help.

Every day I can see the adobe cc update icon, it makes me feel very bad, but always be updated each time an update fails, which is why this road is not?

Reboot and try installing in the new enabled Admin user account and check. -
I have had the same "CSXS Infrastructure 4.0.2" update for the past two weeks
Every day for the past two weeks when I have come into work creative cloud tells me I need to download the new updates. The update always is the same thing, "CSXS Infastructure 4.0.2"

CSXS Infrastructure 4.0.2 update
"Installation failed. Error Code: U44M1P7." trying to update Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, and InDesign CC CSXS Infrastructure 4.0.2
Same problem across all the latest updates. Although Adobe frown on their help staff "noodling under the hood", they do seem to expect the poor user to be able to do exactly that. I have located the log file and it seems to be a problem with the CSXS Infrastructure

There's lots more like this, but I'm no expert. Someone from Adobe IT needs to do some noodling under the hood and get some new updates out there or some message to users about what to do.
The admission that "the latest is not always the greatest" is candid and confirms my suspicions, but with a Cloud only updated subscription service Adobe really need to change their IT mentality. Test, test, test and test again before releasing any updates. Don't just release experimental betaware and hope to fix it later. That doesn't work when your paying customers get pushed the latest all the time as their only option for using the software. How are we to know which updates are safe/necessary and which are not? -
10.1.0.2.0 database download link needed for window server 2008 64bit
Here is our plan. We are currently running oracle 10.1.0.2 database on a windowsServer 2003 32 bit.
Now we would like to migrate the database to 10gR2 and run it on our new server windows server 2008 64bit. After doing research, I think I need to go through the following step:
1) install 10.1.0.2 on our new server,
2) clone the database using the current back up data on the new server.
3) install 10gR2 on the new server.
4) using dbua to upgrade the older database to the new version.
Please let me know whether those steps are correct.
If yes, where can I download 10.1.0.2 version database for 64bit window server 2008?

but 10gR1 not listed.

10gR1 is de-supported, hence you will not find any download links. You will have to create an SR to see if Support can mail you the install media.
How big is the database ? One other option you have is to export the 10.1.0.2 database and import into 10gR2 on the new server. This will achieve the upgrade in one step and will not require the intermediate 10.1.0.2 version on the new server.

Without knowing what it means, I might read "CSXS" as "Creative Suite Excess" myself. (It's "Extensibility Suite" in reality)
In all seriousness, is it me or does it seem to be spelled a bit sloppily (no space between "Infrastructure" and "CS6")?
I neglected to notice or press the About button... Did that describe what this is or does, or why it's being updated? If not, isn't it kind of embarrassing for Adobe, considering the blog entry apologizing for the update LAST TIME that didn't describe what it is or why it's being updated?
Something about me hates sloppy work.

What does this CS6 Update do of fix and why is a system restart needed?
Hi all, Firstly let me apologise for the confusion caused by this updates lack of descriptive text. I do not like applying updates without at least having some idea of what they do, so I went to the Engineering team responsible for the update to get a response and also created a blog post, the copy of which can be found below. We are working on getting the descriptive text applied as quickly as possible.

About the CSXS Infrastructure 3.0.1 Updates
Recently we posted updates for various CS6 applications called CSXS Infrastructure updates via the Adobe Application Manager. Unfortunately, there was no text describing what the update was for or indeed what CSXS was. Whilst we work to add in the descriptive text to the update, I wanted to provide some brief information for those that were curious as to what the update was about.
CSXS is the platform that delivers extensibility within Creative Suite products. This update to the CSXS Infrastructure, resolves an issue where certain characters contained in a users Adobe ID caused a login failure.
It’s only a very small update but an important one, so please apply the update if you are a CS6 user, now that you know what it’s for.

Download Link as a Column of Report
Hi All,
I really tried from my side to somehow implement this requirement but couldn't find a way.
Requirement: A report with two main columns - One has unique value and the other has a download link. This download link need to be used to fetch a set of data from the database table using the other column's (unique) value. Then, user should get a popup on his screen to download the fetched data in csv format.
Please give some guidance or pointers to resolve this issue.

I've done this before actually. You can create a dummy page with a process (on load before header) as a PL/SQL anonymous block. I got code from Denes Kubicek's site which has details of how to generate CSV output using the htp.prn funtion. Then I created the 'download' link in a report column to go to that page passing a value into a hidden field with the unique id of the row.
The code on the new page looks something like this but I would refer to Denes' work for full information (most of this is copied from him).

AAM 6.2 All - Download Error (U44M1I216) updating Adobe CSXS Infrastructure CS6
I'm a CS6 Cloud subscriber running Win7 32-bit and have been having the general 'Download Error/Update Failed' issue with AAM since 12/15/2012. I spent a couple of hours on the Live Chat line with an Adobe support person during which I downloaded and used the Cleaner; downloaded and installed the AAM 6.2 All package but continued to have the same issue 'Download Error/Update Filed' since.
I believe that I made progress this morning after reading a post on the boards from a direct licensed user with a different AAM issue. I used the Help/Update function of one of my CS applications which brought up an instance of AAM which, unlike the 'normal' System Tray version of AAM, didn't immediately go to the 'Download Error/Update Failed' state. This instance of AAM presents both an About and Preferences buttons. I pressed the Preferences button and this next screen showed the list of my applications and had both a Cancel and OK buttons.
When I pressed the OK button, I got to another screen with the list of my applications and About, Preferences and Update buttons. In addition to the list of my applications, each application had both a checkbox and an list expose button. When I pressed the list expose button for each of my applications, I got a complete list of the updates - at the 'package/version level - that AAM 6.2 ALL was attempting to install on my machine in order to maintain all of my applications.
I used that list to go to the Updates page on Adobe to find each of the listed package/version combo's that were listed by AAM 6.2:

I downloaded and installed each of those update packages, one by one, and wittled down the list of packages that AAM sensed as needing to be updated down to just the 'Adobe CSXS Infrastructure CS6' package - needed by both Photoshop and Prelude.
I used the CSXS Infrastructure CS6 install log file - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Installers - to confirm that the installation of the specific version that I had found was successful and it was:

When I try to use the application specific instance of AAM to do the update of both Photoshop and Prelude with the version of CSXS that it senses is needed, I get the U44M1I216 error code in the AAM log.
Does anyone know if there is a later version of CSXS that is being called for? If so, do you have a link to where on the update site I can download it for direct update?
