Win XP cannot see any of the 3 Creative Suite CDs!

I have Adobe Creative Suite (for Windows and Macs). It comes with 3 CDs: Application, Content, and so many hours of tutorials.
I cannot install any of the programmes on my Win XP PC. Windows cannot even see that I have put any of the CDs in the CD-ROM tray in My Computer. There is nothing wrong with my Windows set up: I have just installed Captivate.
What is likely to be the problem, please?

Not necessarily. I'd suggest downloading and installing the "combo" update. That's a combination (thus the clever name) of all the updates to Leopard since it was first released, so installing it should fix anything that's gone wrong since then, such as with one of the normal "point" updates. Hi, I tried to set up a new output audio device on my mac that would have multiple outputs (iBox Twist speaker and my internal speaker) but when I went to click onto one of the iBox Twist (there were 2 options available: iBox Twist and iBox Twist Stereo), Audio MIDI Setup crashed and when I finally got that back open, I found that there were no audio input or output devices to be found. My sound is working, as when I turn on my iMac, the starting sound still plays, however the volume control in the menu bar is no longer a black colour, but grey and when I try to change the sound on my keyboard it does not change. This already happened to me once, and after 3 hours I managed to fix it very simply (switching off Mac, unplugging power cord, leaving for 15 seconds, plug power cord back in and switch Mac back on, holding Alt, Cmd, P and R keys until you hear the Starting Up sound twice) however this same technique that fixed it once before is not working this time and I am still stuck without sound. I have tried Repair Permissions, rebooting in Safe Mode, Hardware Test and checking for Software Updates. Has anyone else had this problem and managed to fix it?

In case anyone has had the same problem as me, I have just managed to fix this by doing the following:
Switch off Mac
Switch back on in Safe Mode (Hit power button, then hold Shift key until a loading bar appears at the bottom of the screen).
Switch off Mac again
Remove power cord and wait 15 seconds
Plug power cord back in and hold down the keys alt, cmd, p, r all at the same time until you hear Starting chime for a second time and hopefully your audio will back.

Upgraded to Firefox 4.0 Can see and use all old bookmarks folders and bookmarks, but cannot see any of the old folders when I attempt to bookmark a new page- only see Bookmarks toolbar & Menu and unsorted bookmarks

Had several bookmarks folders under old Firefox. After upgrade to 4.0 all of these still work via bookmarks menu. Problem is, when I attempt to bookmark a new page and place it in one of my existing bookmarks folders with 4.0, the only folders that Firefox can see are the bookmarks toolbar, bookmarks menu, and unsorted bookmarks. How do I get Firefox to see the old folders so that I can continue to put bokmarked pages in them??

In the "Edit this Bookmark" window, use the 2nd drop-down button, that is to the right of the "Folder", to open a larger window that will allow more folder to appear. See the sloppy red arrow on the screenshot below.

Ipod classic has been wiped. cannot see it on the 'device list' in my itunes. I have tried restoring to factory settings and reloading...it reloads some of the music, but when I plug the Ipod back in, it wipes it again.

Make sure your headphones are plugged in all the way, meaning you cannot see any of the silver still showing from the headphone's plug.
A feature of the Nano is to put it to sleep when the display goes out and it does not detect any headphones.

I cannot see any of my text boxes in the vertical view.

I just checked the first chapter of my iBook in the vertical display. I cannot see any of my text after the section introduction page. All of it is written in text boxes that I created. I can see all of my widgets and text in the standard horizontal view but when I switch to vertical all I can see is the section introductions and the widgets off to the left hand side. This is a guide to surface palpation. Each page is its own set of instructions instead of being one long piece of continous writing. Is there a way to reformat my text boxes so that they are visible in the vertical view without starting over?

The portrait mode only supports the flow of text (and pictures pasted into the text), and widgets (they will all be positioned on the left).
You need to design in landscape mode knowing how the portrait mode works. Text boxes won't show up in portrait mode.

If the albums do appear in the Music app, hold down on the album icons and the X to delete will pop up on the icons. Tap the X to delete the albums.
You don't see a anything in iCloud, you see your previous purchases in the purchased tab of the store that you bought the content in. So you find your music purchases in the purchased tab of the iTunes app on your iPad. Tap on Purchased and look for the albums in the Not on this iPad section - assuming that you are able to delete the albums from the device.

You have probably clicked on a mailto: web link which directs links to send e-mail messages to wherever the webmaster chooses. Go to the View menu -> Show Statusbar if it available, and then make sure the bottom of your screen is visible. When you hover over a link, if it says: mailto: it will open in your default e-mail reading application set by your browser or your e-mail program preferences.
Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Software Update lets you change how often you see the software update window.

You can convert your file to a .dng file and that will encapsulate the meta data into the file instead of it being in a separate side car file!
