Win2008 Cluster ASCS + CI + DI + STMS error
Hi all,
I've installed an SAP ECC in cluster environment in Win2008, as followed by guides, I installed
Clustered ASCS (cluster host is CISAPCL)
Clustered DB instance (host DBSAPCL)
then local CI at node1 and local DI at node2.
now transport system doesn't work, because sapevt did not found mshost (whitch should be CISAPCL), but I can reache CISAPCL from both cluster nodes (where CI and DI are installed).
I figured it out that TMS RFC's try to conect to cluster node 1 and tp import accesses
node2\sapmnt\SID\sys\profile, wich doesn't exists.
I think something has been misunderstood. I hope someone could enlightme.
errors in TMS Logs are:
Trace File of External Event Raiser (Level=0, Append=1
EventID: SAP_TRIGGER_RDDIMPDP
ERROR ***: Cannot determine mshost
rdisp/mshost is defined to CISAPCL.
thanks,
Pedro Rodrigues
HI!!
I've defined parameter SID/system_pf as per Note 449270 - Job RDDIMPDP is not triggered by sapevt.
seems to solved my problem.
thanks in advance,
BR

STMS error - Timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPCMRCV'
Dear Experts,
We are facing issue in releasing or importing TRs.
1.When releasing TRs in DEV server, it is showing error message "Could not start control program TP" on status bar. But repeating the same process went successful.
2. While Importing TRs into QAS, at the time of refreshing queue/adjusting import queue, it pops-up error " timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPCMRCV' .But after repeating same process, TRs were impoted successfully.
We had performed the following in DEV & QAs:
1. Upgraded kernel to patch level 137.
2. After that replaced TP & R3trans with latest patch levels 169.
3. Re-configured STMS
4. Restarted Server.
Also checked,
(i). Report RSTPTEST in se38- sometimes successful; sometimes error :"timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPCMRCV' (ii). RFC "CALLTP_WindowsNT" in sm59 Connection is OK.
Please help.
Thank you in advance.
RegardsHi,
Check below link if it helps:
Re: STMS
Pls also check below things :
- check that the "Gateway Options" are maintained in SM59 and the sapdp00/sapgw00 are maintained in the etc/services files. SAP Note 52959
- Please check SAP Note 773830 if you are on a cluster environment.
For the error regarding timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPCMRCV' please check SAP Notes 581509, 566566.

STMS error message on the Microsoft cluster.
Hi,
I have successfully installed NW2004s on a Microsoft cluster. When I run STMS for the very first time on client 000, I am getting message saying "tp configruation not completely distributed".
Any ideas.
Regards,
N.SHi,
I will tell you the exact solution.
Login to your application server using sapgui. run the transaction SE06.
There you get an option perform post installation Actions. Click on it.
Then go to transaction stms and it will say you that you are logged in to your domain controller.
Further go to trnsaction rz10 and import profiles for all the active servers.
reward with good points. -
My current Configuration:
3 node cluster, using clustered shared storage and about 22 VM's. The Host servers are running 2012 Data Center while all guest are running 2012 Standard. The SAN is EqualLogic and we are using HIT Kit 4.5.
I have a CSV that is running out of space, so I created another CSV so that I could move some of the VM's to a new home. I tested this by creating a test VM, and moved it successfully 3 times. I then moved an actual
LIVE VM and while it seemed to move ok, it will now not start. The message is "a disk read error occurred Press ctrl+alt+del to restart". I moved the test VM and it failed as well.
I have read several things about this, but nothing seems to relate to my specific issue. I have verified that VSS is working and free of errors as well. From the Settings menu for the VM, if I select "Inspect" the drive,
the properties all look fine. It is a VHDX and both the current file size and maximum disk size seem correct.
The VM's were moved using the "move - virtual machine storage" option within Failover Cluster Manager.
Suggestions?
Thanks.Lets see if I can answer all of those and I appreciate the brain storming. This really needs to work, correctly.
1. The Storage is moving.
2. VM's and SAN are on same device.
3. No, my Clustered Shared Volume, CSV, is out of room, (more one that later)
4. No, I actually have 2 sans grouped together. However, I'm moving the VM', form one CSV to another CSV on the Same san. EqualLogic PS 6110 is the one I am trying to move VMS around on, and the other SAN not involved in any way except
for it is in a SAN group is an EqualLogic PS6010.
5. No error During move, it took about 5-10 minutes, no error messages. Note, I did a test and it worked GREAT 3 times. Now both a live VM, and the test VM are doing the same thing.
6. No, the machine is not to large. The test making was a 50 gig drive, just 2012 standard installed with updates. The live VM was a 75 gig VM that was my Trend Micro Server, or anti-virus host.
7. Expand the existing SCV? Yes I should be able to, but there is an issue there. The volume was expanded correctly, Equallogic sees the added space, Fail Over cluster manager sees the added space, however disk manager only
sort of does. When looking at disk manager, there are 2 areas that tell you a little bit about the drive. The top part and then the bottom part. The top part only shows 500G, the original size, while the bottom part
says that it is 1 TB in size. I call Dell's technical support and after they looked at it I was told by the technician that they had seen this a couple of times and the only way to fix it was to move all the VM's to another CSV and delete the troubled
CSV. I thought about adding more space to the troubled CSV, but its on a production server with about 12 VM's running on it and I did not want to take a chance. The Trend VM was running on CSV-1 and working fine.
I must admit that the test VM, was on CSV-2. I moved the Test VM from csv-2 to csv-3 back and forth several times with no errors. The Trend Server was on CSV-1 and was moved to CSV-3, however it failed. Again, I then moved
the test VM from CSV-2 to CSV-3 and it failed the same way. I could not test the "TEST - VM" on csv-1 due to csv-1 not having enough space.
8. I did disable the network from the VM to see if that mattered it did not.
9. I have not yet had a chance to connect the VHDX to a new VM, but I will do that in about an hour, hopefully. Once I am able to test that suggestion I will post the results as well.
Again, thanks for all the suggestions and comments, as I had rather have lots to look at and try. I hope I answered them well enough.

Hi Everybody,
I have two node cluster and trying to add the third node (which is a Virtual Machine), all nodes are in different subnet and can communication with each other. While adding the third node it gives the error at the end of wizard " This operation
returned because the timeout period expired ". My domain controller is 2008 Enterprise Server and nodes are all running Windows Server 2012 Standard Edition. Any idea what is causing the issue.
thanksHi,
Before you add a server (node) to a failover cluster, we strongly recommend that you run the Validate a Configuration Wizard for the existing cluster nodes and the new node
or nodes. The Validate a Configuration Wizard helps you confirm the configuration in a variety of important ways. For example, it validates that the server to be added is connected correctly to the networks and storage and that it contains the same software
updates. Please post the error or warning report.
Please try to install the Recommended hotfixes and updates for Windows Server 2012-based failover clusters:

Ended with return code: ===> 12 <===
there is a Message no. TP102.
Anyone give me a help!
Thanks in advance!Hi
Getting Started
Ø Log on to the client into which you want to import.
Ø Go to transaction STMS. Select the truck (Import Overview) icon on the top left side of the screen.
Ø Select (double click) the Queue into which you want to import.
Ø Refresh this screen upon entry. Items that have been previously imported will show a green check mark on the right; items that are ready for import again show a yellow triangle, and items that are ready for import show a green circle.
u2022 To import one transport at a time (i.e. if you have < 5 or so transports or if they must be imported one at a time):
Ø Highlight the short text for the transport (by a single click on the item).
Ø IMPORTANT: Select the truck with the partial coloring of the truck box (Import Request) NOT the completely colored one that says Import All Requests. The Import Transport Request window will be displayed. Your import request should be displayed at the top. If it indicates multiple imports, exit this window and do this step again.
Ø Enter the client number in the field for Target Client (i.e. 400 for BWQ, 400 for BWP).
Ø Go to the Options tab and remove the check mark from Leave Transport Request in Queue for Later Import.
Ø Select the green check mark (Continue) icon.
Ø Your request will show a truck in the right column until it is complete. Keep refreshing the screen.
Ø Upon completion, select the blue paper with glasses (Logs) icon to make sure there are no errors above warnings.
u2022 To import many transports at a time
Ø Select all the transports to be imported by highlight the short text for the transport (by a single click on the item) and then select the gray square with red dot and arrow (Select/Deselect Request) icon. The selected item will be highlighted in yellow.
Ø IMPORTANT: Select the truck with the partial coloring of the truck box (Import Request) NOT the completely colored one that says Import All Requests. The Import Transport Request window will be displayed. Your first import request will be displayed at the top, with the option to see all that you have select. A total count of the imports will be listed beside it as well
Ø Enter the client number in the field for Target Client (i.e. 400 for BWQ, 400 for BWP).
Ø Go to the Execution tab and select Synchronously (single-threaded).
Ø Go to the Options tab and remove the check mark from Leave Transport Request in Queue for Later Import.
Ø Select the green check mark (Continue) icon.
Ø Your screen will be locked until the requests are complete.
Ø Upon completion, select the blue paper with glasses (Logs) icon to make sure there are no errors above warnings.
u2022 What to do if Errors:
Ø If any transport errors, try to clear up error. You may need to replicate the client (P01, BW, etc. from SourceSystems within BW Workbench).
Ø Re-import (see notes below on re-import) the erred transport. If that works, re-import all transports in the group of 10 subsequent to the erred transport, one at a time.
Hope it helps -

STMS error- Transport control program tp could not be started RFC error
Hi,
All SAP expert i have query in STMS, i am trying to transport request from r/3 4.7 to CRm 4.0 & i am getting this error
Function : TMS_TP_SHOW_BUFFER
Message : TP_CALL_FAILED
Error code: 4
let me know how do i get rid of ths error.
any help will be appriciated,
Thanks In Advance.
~JohnHi,
It may be a problem with your tp - if you want to be sure, use tp at the O/S Level to do your import and then you should be able to find the exact error.
At the request to buffer:
tp ADDTOBUFFER <change request #> <SID> pf=TP_DOMAIN_<SID>.PFL
Then import it into the suitable client:
tp IMPORT <change request #> <SID> pf=TP_DOMAIN_<SID>.PFL
Please award points, if helpful.

Osb cluster- HTTP proxy service 404 error
Hi All,
I have a cluster set up with 2 managed servers. I crated a Any SOAP proxy from sbconsole to test If I can reach managed server form an external service. I do not have front load balancer set yet.
osb server1: rdoelapp001011:61703
osb:server2:rdoelapp001013:61703
admin server : rdoelapp001011:61701
when I am trying to access http proxy using any of osb server host and port I am getting 404 error ( From the admin console I could see all the servers are running)
surprisingly I am getting success (200) when I am using admin server host and port.
That means the proxy is not got deployed to the managed server, it deployed to admin server
I looked into few weblogic/OSB document, I could not see anything specific regarding deploying HTTP proxy to osb servers in a cluster
How would I make sure to deploy to the cluster not to admin server
I also tried creating a file poller proxy to see if I get "Managed server" option to set. But I do not see that option here.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Edited by: 818591 on Feb 21, 2011 8:52 PMAccording to your suggestion, I created a domain from scratch using config wizard with a cluster with two managed server
I started admin server then started managed server
I do not have any JMS stuff created/configured yet
while starting up managed OSB server I am getting below error. I think it is related JMS reporting stuff. In my scenario we do not need any reporting feature.
How would I disable it? while creating domain I did not select the ckeckbox for reporting. Then where did it come from?
Please suggest.

rock\sapmnt\trans\sapnames\BASIS' : cant
System Response
Further processing is terminated.
Procedure
Check the following points:
Feasibility of the transport control program tp
Parameter settings in the transport profile
Availability of the transport directory and the subdirectories (cofiles, data, log, sapnames, bin)
Write authorization for the subdirectories
Write authorization for the files of the subdirectories cofiles, data, log, sapnames
Release the request again when the error has been removed
Thanks In Advance
SanthoseHi,
The error " Test call for tp ended with error code 0212 " means import terminates in the phase IMPORT_OBJECT_LIST .
you can do one thing..delete the current queue and implement the following SAP note.
Note 1232804 - SPAM/SAINT: TP_FAILURE 0212 in phase IMPORT_OBJECT_LIST
You can then redefine the queue and implement it.

I have checked the permissions of the sapmnt and we have even assigned it to everyone.
However, the new QA system belongs to a different series of IP Address as compared to DEV and PRD and all the systems (DEV, QA and PRD) are Local Installation and belongs to the same Workgroup. Can you please confirm whether different ip series and different gateway are a reason for the error?
Also, any possible thoughts would be much helpful.
Regards,
AntarpreetHi,
Normally, as per the best practise it is advisable to have all the three systems in same IP series and gateway. However, since this is a local installation and all are in workgroup as far as all the required ports are open and there is no restriction between two different series thats ok. Regarding your error it seems like some environment variable errors. Guess yours is windows environment. Please check the environment varaiable correctly in newly installed quality system.
Also, check from newly installed quality system if you are able to access the development and production system from Run box i.e., Start->Run, this is to confirm that since quality is in different series if access if enabled for servers in other series. if not then ask your network guys to enable the same.
Finally, I would suggest you to delete the existing TMS and recreate again with the new quality if above suggestions does not work.
