Win7 64 Bootcamp MBP 8,2 don't detect bluetooth hardware

Hi to all, I have a Macbook pro i7 15'' (8,2). I have a small partition with windows 7 64bit. The installation was perfect but i have a problem. Windows 7 don't detect the bluetooth hardware of my Macbook pro. I have tried to force Apple .inc bluetooth driver but  it remains with exclamation mark. Boot camp is update (8/7/2011). Do you have any suggest?
Thank you

Any one done this?

  • Bootcamped MBP spins on OSX boot, but is able to boot WIN7.

I have a Bootcamped MBP. Booting into OSX results in a completed progress bar and a spinning wheel, but the Windows7 partition boots perfectly. On a OSX safemode verbose boot I see the following errors: "incorrect number of thread records", and "the volume macintosh hd could not be repaired after 3 attempts".
I've booted into the recovery partition and attempted to "repair" the partition, but no luck. The OSX partition shows as unmounted and fails when a mount is attempted.
    Any ideas?
EDIT:  "EFI Partition" now shows as an available partition. OSX partition no longer appears.

The Mac OS X volume is damaged. The only thing you can do is to start into Recovery, erase it in Disk Utility and reinstall Mac OS X. If you don't have a backup, use DiskWarrior to try to recover data

  • Having problem installing Win7 using Bootcamp on Mac Mini 2011

I'm trying to install Win7 using bootcamp on my new Mac Mini 2011. I first partitionned the disc using Bootcamp assistant. Then during Win7 installation I select Partition 4 BOOTCAMP, format it to NTFS, then when I try to select the drive, it says that the drive is not compatible for the installation.
    Is there anything I missed???
    Thanks

I had a similar problem when I selected upgrade instead of complete install. I want to make sure your aware that you should click the complete option instead of upgrade when you reach that portion of the win7 install. Then you need to select part ion 4 like you have stated and format it to ntfs.
But it seems that you've already done all of that. My advice would be to go back to the Mac side, restore the partition using bootcamp and again partition it. You need at least 25gb of space for 64 bit. I would recommend using at least 40gb. Just trying to help. I apologize if I misunderstood your problems. But make sure you click on the opposite choice of upgrade, I did my mini last night lol but I can't remember the exact name of the option I think it's complete, then select part 4 and click format....

  • Can't install Win7 on 2011 MBP

    Hi All,
I have a new 2011 MBP 15 i7 with the Apple SSD and I'm trying to installing Windows 7 (64 bit Ultimate) via Boot Camp. I also tried the 32 bit version, with the same results...
I used Boot Camp Assistant to make a 60GB partition, and got pretty far along in the Windows installation. Windows started, but then immediately rebooted, and then just kept rebooting. I never got as far as installing the drivers. Anyone seen this?
Of course I did a software update first, and read the installation instructions for BootCamp.
    In case it's relevant:
    Boot ROM Version: MBP81.0047.B04
    SMC Version (system): 1.69f1
    Thanks in advance!
    Rick

Windows 7 came out in 2009.
The MacBook Air has support files
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4407
Windows 7 SP1 DVDs would be nice and more likely to support more hardware natively.
I can see Apple dropping XP, why create, test new drivers for new hardware.
Windows on Mac takes back seat to the consumer-entertainment side of business, and to OS X.
The 2011 MBP are so new that they were not it appears part of the standard 10.6.7 release cycle. Not the first time (10.4.9 fell on release of Mac Pro 2007 8-core) and had to wait for 10.4.10 to get everyone on the same build and test cycle. A perfect storm is new hardware, new OS, and everything incompatible on multiple fronts.
"Save drivers to CD" on 2011 MBP would be essential. The drivers HAVE to be on flash drive or something DURING the boot and install of Windows 7. Only way it would work.
Now, it seems that some people are successful getting Win7 on new MBP so something seems different. No idea what.

I will hand it to Apple Support pages, they could always of course be and do better and have help articles (vote on? most accessed? newest vs oldest? by category?) I'd even though in some under yours that are particular to installing Windows -

  • Cannot record through line-in in bootcamp MBP late summer '09 model

cannot record through line-in in bootcamp MBP late summer '09 model
audio source (mp3 player) <3.5mm male input-------------3.5mm male input>  line-in to macbook pro late summer 2009 model bootcamp windows xp sp2
when i select microphone in the audio panel - it works
when i select line-in and plug in the 3.5mm jack input to 3.5mm jack input to a fm radio for ex. it doesn't work
how do i make the line-in work?
i remember that when i first installed mac osx sl and windows xp bootcamp - the first couple of times around when partitioning the hd - the line-in worked a couple of times, in between times somewhere along the line i made some change to the spdif settings ?? or driver / to make the red light that comes on in the line-in jack go away -  the other method was to use a toothpick to push a tiny button inside the jack, did that once -but the redlight came back again after a restart on bootcamp side.
    thanks in advance,
    -r

Although I don't use it, the Line-Input jack should require a signal about 40dB higher than what a microphone alone puts out. If your cable only adapts the connector and does not provide amplification, I'm not surprised you get nothing. If you are lucky, you MIGHT get a low signal by going into System Prefs/Sound/input/line-in and turning the input level slider all the way up. But the real answer to to get a mike preamp or mixer, or a mike with line-level output. Some products take a mike input and convert it to digital into the USB port.

Are you talking about changing the keyboard layout when you are working in Windows?  If so, you need to tell people how you are running it (bootcamp, parallels, other) and whether you have already done stuff like

  • Ethernet port won't work on Win7 from Bootcamp install?

hey guys, i was just trying to install Win7 via Bootcamp. Win7 boots up with no issues at all, but i can't connect to the internet because the ethernet isn't picked up or it doesn't work. i must have done something wrong in Bootcamp -- what can i do?
    thanks

Did you install the Boot Camp drivers for Windows?
You can download them if you haven't already from Boot Camp Assisstant.
Open Boot Camp Assisstant (/Applications/Utilities/Boot Camp Assisstant.app) and click on continue. On the next page tick only "Download the latest Windows support software from Apple". Click on Continue again, and then save them onto some external storage you will be able to access from Windows. Once that is complete, restart in Windows, connect your external storage, find a folder on it called WindowsSupport, open it, and double-click on setup.exe. This will install drivers for all of your Mac's hardware, including the Multi-Touch Trackpad, access to HFS storage volumes, and most importantly, ethernet.

I hope you are able to solve your problem. The iPhone is definitely designed to be able to run the power all the way down. In fact, the instructions to maintain your battery suggest doing that once a month. I do it now and then, not usually once a month and I am always able to get my phone back to where it would be usable in about 10 minutes of charge. I always keep it in the charger until it is fully charged, however.
I just didn't want you to think you made some big mistake to let it run out of charge. There must be something going on with your phone or the battery.

Thanks; however, I was really referring to this: if it is preinstalled on a Mac, I believe the license is for that computer only (unlike an MAS purchased version which can be used on any Mac owned). Has that requirement changed?
At this moment, that's correct. The OS X license included with a Mac can only be used with that Mac. However, in the case the OP has purchased OS X Mountain Lion in the past, this may change

moving a drive with OSX to another computer? take it out of my Mac pro laptop and into my mac mini. can it be done with no OS/Hardware issues?

When I work with a drive to boot many computers, I use the newest model computer I will be booting, and set the system up on that, run all the Apple updates. Normally I will have no issue booting any older computer with the same drive. Unless of course those older computers do not support the operating system on that drive.
If you want to test if the drive will boot the mac mini. Put your MacBook Pro into target mode. Connect the two computers together. And on the Mac Mini, go into system preferences and then under start up disk and see if the target disk mode computer's drive shows up there. Seelct that drive and restart. See if it boots ok. A bit easier then taking the drives out and moving things around.

    Folks..
There was a post similar to this, but was lacking something that worked for me specifically. From the Apple site http://us.jawbone.com/pairingguide.aspx the following will pair the Jawbone (original at least) to the Iphone. I had similar problems with not being able to pair until I came across this:
    Apple iPhone
_*Set the Jawbone to Pairing Mode._*
For the Original Jawbone, press and hold down the Noise Shield button for at least three seconds until the LED Indicator Light flashes red.
For the New Jawbone, press and hold down both the NoiseAssassin™ Button and the Talk Button for at least three seconds until the LED Indicator Light flashes red and white alternately.
From the iPhone Home screen, touch Settings.
    Touch General.
    Touch Bluetooth.
Turn Bluetooth on. (The iPhone will search for nearby Bluetooth devices.)
    Touch Jawbone on the list.
    Enter the PIN number "0000".
    Touch Connect.
The Jawbone should now be paired with the iPhone.
I hope this helps someone - it helped me.
Thanks to all who posted before me.
