Win7 64k bluetooth doesn't synch
I have a new Win7Pro computer to which I've attached a USB Bluetooth adapter. My Palm Treo 680 has Bluetooth turned on and sees the Win7 computer. But it won't synch with it. I get the "connection between your handheld computer and the desktop could not be established..." error message.
Clues:
When I startup Palm Desktop 6.2.2 I get an error message: "Expreprt.exe module cannot be found." But there were no errors during installation of PD6.2.2.
When I attempt to synch the desktop computer asks me for a Bluetooth passkey (PIN). I have no idea what this mught be. I've never been asked to set one up during this process.
The Palm instructions read:
Configuring Bluetooth synchronization on a 64-bit Windows computer
Download & install Palm Desktop 6.2.
Click the HotSync icon in the task bar on your Windows computer.
Select Settings from the menu.
Select Connections on the left of the screen and then select Bluetooth.
...but when I get that far the Connections choices show only serial, USB and Network. There is no "Bluetooth" choice.
What do I need to do to get a functioning Palm Desktop and Hotsynch manager that will synch with my Treo 680 via Bluetooth?

A Bluetooth PIN (or passcode) is any set of numbers you choose it to be! Many BT hardware devices that do not have a keyboard use four zeros (0000) as the passcode.
For Bluetooth devices to work correctly, there is a task called "Pairing" involved. It's a lot like getting married. You choose the other device, and the other device finds you, and the passcode is the "ring" that binds. I'd suggest reading the instructions for the USB dongle on how to pair with it.
Once paired, the devices should find each other. Follow cygnusX1's suggestion to get Palm Desktop installed correctly first! (You do have admin rights on the computer, correct?)

Sorry to hear you are having issues connecting to your Wi-Fi network. I'll include a few more things that you can try to troubleshoot this below. The first thing that I'm wondering is if you cannot connect to your Wi-Fi at home -- are you able to connect to a different Wi-Fi network (at work, a local coffee shop, etc.)? That would be one of the first things to try.
Turning the modem and router in your house of and then on is also a common step as it "reinitializes" everything. Hopefully, one of the steps below will help you with this.

hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

Wait for an iOS update and send feedback to Apple. Many have reported that problem here - synced events and faces in arbitrary order, but there is no known solution. You cannot arrange the synced events, albums, and faces on your iOS devices in any way.

L655-S5097 64Bit WIN7 and bluetooth stack
I recently set up this PC for my wife and remember seeing a note on the desktop about deleting the bluetooth stack and re-installing it. But I lost that note and am now stuck trying to figure out why the bluetooth doesn't work. In fact the toshiba driver hangs during installation and doesn't even complete. I don't want to completely reload DVDs to the toshiba factory condition since I have already added so many things beyond "base load".
My PCI-mini WIFI card is the Azurewave AW-NB047H not the one that comes in the factory build. The Azurewave site is useless since it doesn't have drivers for this card and the drivers I found on Softpedia (for this exact card model #) didn't work either. Any ideas?

Netpoint 5.9 doesn't synch Online Catalogue
I had to connect the Netpointdb to a new SAP database. It recognices salespersons, catalogues, etc in the synch manager but when I run a synch it doesn't synch the Item Groups into the online catalogue that stays blank

This sounds bad.
Your synchids are probably incorrect.
B1 OITB.ItmsGrpCod should map to WT CatalogsCategory.SynchID. If it doesn't things won't synch.
You could reset them manually, but there is a pretty good chance that this may be just the tip of the iceberg.
BPs and Items are the only synching objects that do not have SynchIDs, so there is potential for a massive disruption.
If you find a lot of things like this you may have to re-Initialize the synch. -

seems like your phone isn't activated properly. try doing a hard reset (hold power+home until phone restarts).
if you have a CDMA carrier, this might not fix it for you. call the carrier and ask them to reset the activation. -

I had the same problem, after trying all resets and sugestions the problem persisted.
I took it to my carrier and they done their own test and gave me a new iPhone. Simple.
Problem solved!
If your Iphone is under warranty don't worry about it. But try a hard reset.

IPad Air iOS8 | win7 iTunes music doesn't sync

My Win7 iTunes is version 11.4.0.18
After updating, Synching my music has removed every non-iTunes store song (my ripped CD's)
I can see the title, but a big RED circle appears to the right (same shape as blue download circle) and the song doesn't play as if its been removed.
Anyone seeing this too?My phone works now. What I did was delete all the apps I purchased on the phone and sync, and it worked!!!

IMac 27" with Win7, Apple bluetooth keyboard not connected, STUCK.
I made a huge (and naive and stupid) mistake and now have an iMac stuck at the Win7 boot screen because it can not find the keyboard. I can't boot it back into OSX either because the keyboard OPT key is not recognized. Here is what happened:
My iMac 27" was working perfectly in dual boot mode and I could arbitrarily boot in either OS without problem since 3 months. Well, today, a friend called and said that her Apple keyboard is not recognized by Win7 on her iMac and she can not type. So I made sure that the battery is good and the green light is on, then I told her to go into the bluetooth device panel and remove the keyboard then re-pair it again. My thought was that I have done that with all bluetooth devices in Windows without problem, and Apple hardware and software is solid, so that got to work without a glitch, right. WRONG. She struggled to pair and connect the keyboard in Win7 to the point that I said I will remove my keyboard device and reconnect it so I can tell her the exact steps. Well, I learned the hard lesson with Apple stuffs myself. After removing the keyboard device, I could pair it, but not without difficulty. Then, however, does not connect, since I could not type and the device driver says that the device can not be started. Then I read messages in the Apple forum recommending to boot up in to OSX to remove the device there and boot it back into Win7 to pair it. OK. I used the mouse to shut down the Win7 and forgot that I have no keyboard now. I couldn't have used Boot Camp control panel to boot into OSX but I was so confident in Apple that I did not think about it. Now, I am stuck with a machine that boots into Windows without stopping and hangs at the first screen because the keyboard is missing. I inserted the OSX DVD in the hope that it would boot from the DVD but it does not. And the DVD is of course stuck in the drive. I am working at a remote location and do not have a usb keyboard or anything else.
Can anyone recommend a procedure to boot into OSX in my situation? Or can anyone tell me if I can pair and connect the keyboard in the BIOS? I googled but could not find anyone in a similar situation like mine. My friend can take her machine to Apple store for service, but I am in a country that has no Apple store.

tomI don't know but I installed my Windows 7 with Bootcamp without using a USB keyboard (cuz I don't have one). But you will at least need a USB mouse though. The moment it requires me to use keyboard input for various of information the bootcamp already downloaded required drivers and updates for my wireless keyboard to work. Make sure your wireless keyboard are on and try type something on it (it goes into some sort of sleep mode when you first start it).

Bluetooth Doesn't connect all the time
My Ford MobileEase Bluetooth in my car only works some of the time. I got it paired up fine but it doesn't always connect and even when it does connect it will sometimes just disconnect. My 3GS worked fine with iOS3 but not with iOS4 only the OS has changed so it is not a hardware issue
Any suggestions?Maybe when they ban Taxi Drivers from using their In-Car computers and ban Cops from using their In-Car computers, then they can ban people from using hands free phones. Plus they better ban people from changing the radio station in their car, and whilst they're at it.....might as well ban people from adjusting their air conditioner.
Pretty ironic that you can't use a hands free phone in your car, but yet you can use a CB Radio!
Maybe they should look at enforcing laws that are applicable to everyone and not just selected groups! But I suppose they do have budgets to meet! :-)
