WINCE 7 WiFi settings update failure with error CMRE_INVALID_PARAMETER

We are facing WiFi settings update failure in WinCE 7 application when calling
CmAddConnectionConfig
API, it returns error code CMRE_INVALID_PARAMETER. The API failuer occurs randomly at some point in time, after this failure, this API always return the same error code and further it is not possible to change
the Wifi Settings at all until reflasing the SOM.
The setup:
Windows Embedded compact 7 with rollups upto November 2014 (7.1.2846.0)
EDImax (EW-7722UTnV2) WiFi adapter
Variscite OM37 SOM

This is a frequently recurring, time wasting problem. When will Adobe get the update installation right ?

I haven't been able to install Flash ever on my HP Compaq Pressario 1000 Laptop ever.
This too sports XP Pro SP3 IE8.
If you have any ideas on this other problem, please let me know.

I tried to update my iphone 4 through my settings and got the error "Software Update Failure - an error occurred installing i0S6." This is not the first time that happens. I got the same error in the last 3 ios updates. The only way that I found to solve was to update by itunes, but as we have the option to update through iphone, I want to do that.
Any suggestions on how to solve this problem will be most appreciated.In the last 3 ios updates I had to use itunes because through the settings I always get the same error message. The point is that I don't want to use the itunes. I want apple to fix the problem (as I can see I'm not the only one having problem). I have 2 friends that did the update in the same time that I was trying to do, and for both them it worked.

Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant if you need it. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system at the time of purchase.
Please note remove any and all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices, as these could cause some issues.
Plug the power adapter directly into a functioning wall outlet. Do not plug it into a power strip, surge protector, or secondary power source as this could cause and issue.
You might have to temporarily disable your virus protection.

I am trying to install 3 updates for my Adobe products on OS X 10.7.4. I have a Creative Cloud subscription.

Windows 7 update fails with error 8000FFFF
I've got a Windows 7 x64 installation that I've had for around three months. Everything has been fine and working up until a few weeks ago. When I run Windows Update it finds updates and allows me to select them, but when I run the install it fails with error 8000FFFF. Update used to work, but then suddenly quit.
I've dug through tons of forum and web sites regarding this specific error, but they all of their solutions do nothing to fix my problem. In frustration I decided to put in a spare hard drive and install Windows 7 from scratch. I did that and the first thing I tried to do after logging in was updates and it failed for the same reason (8000FFF).
I have the same situation with a Windows Storage Server 2008 x64 that I have as well. It has been runing for about six months or more and updates were working fine. Then update started failing for the same or some other reason about the same time. On this machine I can start the update and see it report a percentage downloading the update. It gets to about 5 or 6 percent and then fails.
Is there some possible networking issue at play in my situation? I have earlier Windows versions (XP, XP64, Svr 2003 and Svr 2003 R2) and updates work fine on those. I know those are using a different mechanism, but I do not notice any other kind of networking issues from my house to the Internet. I have not changed anything or any settings in my firewall at all. Is there some specific protocol, port or something that has to work prefectly in order for the new Windows update to work?
All of my machines are pretty much Intel based. Win7 box is a Core2Duo on an EVGA 680i motherboard. The servers are Intel Xeons with Intel motherboards, chipsets and nics.

Fix IT, registry keys and SoftwareDistribution folder cleaning, uninstalling previous updates, manual downloading of appropriate updates and attempt do install it and creating/deleting user profiles - don't work at all.
Any new ideas?

I have found a solution to the:

Last night i re-encoded my mp3's to 128kbs, and then plugged my iPod Shuffle in, and it went crazy... i tried restoring and it kept giving me the error above!
Anyways, here's a solution (that may require to be tried a couple of times)...
If you keep getting this error, go to My Computer, then right click the iPod (maybe called "Removable Storage").
Go to Format... and make sure its set at FAT32. Also make sure that "Quick Format" is unticked.
Once this is done. Eject it. Plug it into another USB slot, and go to iPod Updater and restore. It should work.
And then rename the ipod thru iTunes, and upload ur music on to it!

Trying to update the CC app manager. The update is always very slow (I have ATT DSL, lowest level) and I usually terminate it after an hour or so. Today I let it run and it failed with error code 50 after reaching about 35%. Any ideas?
Update to my original post. I read through some of the suggestions that I found in other threads for fixing this problem, and it appears that this has been an ongoing issue. Numerous fixes have been suggested, some very convoluted, difficult, and involved, including those that came from the customer support folks. I passed on those as this should be something simple. How Adobe manages to let updating of their own software turn into an ongoing problem is beyond me and sort of defeats the purpose of subscribing. I then noticed that a simple fix had been suggested a few times, so I tried that.
The user suggested fix that worked for me was:
1) Restarted computer (Asus Windows 7 i3 machine for me) in Safe Mode with Networking. Logged into my separate Admin account just in case.
2) Started the creative cloud desktop app.
3) The app said it needed to be updated. I hit the update button.
4) Update started and proceeded slowly as it had in many previous failed attempts (I have ATT DSL at the slowest level, but it is not dial-up). Within about 30 min, the update succeeded.
5) Restarted computer in normal mode.
6) The creative cloud desktop app now did not say it needs to be updated, and I can update my other apps normally. Have not updated LR or PS yet, but plan to try. If that fails, I may try doing it in the Safe Mode with Networking.
So, that was relatively painless and much much simpler than many of the other suggestions I saw. Do not know if it will work for everyone, but I wanted to post the fix that worked for me. Thank you very much to the 2 or 3 users who had suggested this fix earlier (sorry, I did not write down your IDs, but the threads can be found by searching for creative cloud desktop update fail error code 50). Hope this saves some people a lot of time. -
Express Firmware Update Fails with error -19
trying to upload firmware using windows xp sp3 and airport utility v 5.5.1.
windows and any other firewall is disabled.
tried wired and over wifi.
also tried from another windows xp sp2 computer.
tried uploading 7.3, 7.3.1, 7.3.2, 7.4.1 and also 7.4.2
fails every time with error -19
meanwhile configuration of the device and playback with itunes works.What device do you have?
What is the version of firmware that you have now?
Did you temporarily turn off the anti-virus on the PC? -
IOS7 update failure w/ error "Not Connected to Wireless", but I am connected- How can I update?
My iPad has the defective "gotofailure" bug in iOS7, but there is only 1 pending update which describes a completely unrelated issue. I am connected to my Wireless LAN, and that connection works fine. But, when I try to download and install the pending update (Which may or may not have the major security hole fixed), the update fails with the error message "not connected to wireless". How can I get someone at Apple support to tell me how to get around this problem?
What am I supposed to do when the fix for a major bug is blocked by another (apparently minor) update?
(note: I am over the 30 day warranty, but within the 1 year warranty. However, Apple support wants me to pay $20 to have them tell me how to fix their defective software...
I expect that the 1 year warranty should apply to defective software, especially this major security bug!
This bug completely compromises browser and internet security... it is a HUGE deal!

This is my first Apple product since the Apple 2E. If this is the level of customer support and warranty for defects, hardware or software, that Apple provides, it may well be my last apple product.
I have worked in customer support at another major computer company, and this type of policy is the surest way to send customers to your competitors that I know of. Tim Cook, are you listening?
(P.S. Don't bother trying to get the attention of any Apple Executive - they don't want to hear from customers to provide feedback on their products or policies - not by phone nor by email.)

I think here the issue may be that the utility and the internet connection are not getting synchronised. The operating system on your computer is it win XP? If it is win xp, u can use the windows wireless software to manage to your wireless network. In order to use the windows wireless zero configuration, right click on the linksys icon at the bottom right hand corner of the task bar, select the option that says "use windows wireless ....".
The linksys icon will be grayed and windows will be managing the wireless network. Connect to your wireless network and you should be able to go online. -
10.9.3 update fails with error 513
Hi,
I'm attempting to update a Macbook Pro 13" to 10.9.3. The update fails with "The file couldn't be saved because you don't have permission.(513)" I've tried recommendations such as different user account and download the update from Apple directly bypassing the App Store. Neither worked. I enabled root and logged in as root and got the same error. Ideas please!!Permission repair, too?

Hi, we're trying to update our Exchange Server 2013 from CU7 to CU8. One of our servers updated successfully (with problems after installing but were resolved). One our production server, when running the update we receive an error saying the
following:
"Incomplete Installation Detected" followed by "Setup has detected that a previous installation of exchange on this computer didn't complete successfully. Setup will try to complete this installation. Click next to continue."
When we click on next, the setup fails with an error saying the following:
"Warning: An unexpected error has occurred and a Watson dump is being generated: Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Windows\Temp\ExchangeSetup\bin\EnterpriseServiceEndpointsConfig.xml'."
We found a path like that in a different directory and copied it so it matched the path and file but when running the setup again, the file got deleted and we received the same error. Also couldn't find a .dmp file or log file in the Windows debug
folder that had to do with this error.
Any help would be appreciated.

This seems to be an abnormal behavior. I suggest we temporarily close any third-party antivirus programs and then try the updating again.
