  • Hide Unwanted Excise Fields in MIGO & J1IEX

In our business process, the duties such as NCCD and SED are not required and consequently we don't want these fields to appear in MIGO and J1IEX so that users can't put any value by mistake.
Can any one provide some idea what the settings required for this?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
To hide some fields in MIGO, NEED to do configuration settings. Then you can hide the required fields. The pathway as follows...
SPRO->SAP REFERENCE IMG->NATERIAL MANAGEMENT->INVENTORY MANAGENET AND PHYSICAL INVENTORY->SETTINGS FOR GOODS MOVEMENT(MIGO)---> FIELD SELECTION FOR MIGO(CHACK THE RADIO BUTTON FOR HIDE AGAINST THE REQUIRED FIELD).
By following path way you can hide the required fields in MIGO.
For J1IEX also there are options to hide the fields. I hope this will clear your issue. Thanking you.

    Hi,
    1. Identify the document type being used for the posting. For example KZ or ZP
    2. Identify the transaction type and business variant being used for the document type found in step 1 from SPRO node " Classify Document Types for Document splitting" (SIMG_GLT0_T8G12). Most likely it would be
    3. Identify the document splitting method being used in your implementation from SPRO node "Activate Document Splitting" (SIMG_FAGL_ACTIV_SPLI) . Most likely to be 0000000012 or 0000000012
    4. Go to the SPRO node "Define Document Splitting Rule" (FISL_PS_GBEB_SPLT_DC) and locate the header item with Splitting Method, Business Transaction and Transaction Variant identifies in step 1,2 and 3.
    5. Add item category which contains your tax accounts , into the "Item categories to be edited" list for the header selected in step 4.
    6. Add "Base item categories "03000 - Vendor" for item category identified in step 4.
    Hope it helps.

  • Making "Business Place" field Required in MIRO

    Dear fellow SAPers,
Can anyone please tell me how to maintain the status of  "Business Place" field in MIRO as Required? The client wants to ensure that this field is populated everytime MIRO is done, irrespective of the user.
    Please Help,
    Thanks,
    Amit Bharti

    Hi,
To make the business place field required for MIRO, you can write the validation as below:-
    Step 1:-
Create a message ID via transaction code SE91 for message class /EACC/MSG/ACC_COMP.
    Step 2:-
Go to transaction GGB0 and create the validation step at line item level in Financial Accounting as below:-
    Pre Requisits:-
          BKPF-TCODE = 'MIRO' AND BSEG-BLART = 'K'.
    Check:-
          BSEG-BUPLA = ' '.
    Message:-
Message created in step 1 as error message.
    Step 3:-
Please also check that this validation has active status (Status=1) at line item level for your company code in transaction OB28.

The column 'Hide field' is shown in the variant atttributes screen, but it is not active.

  • Change Transaction type in a Business Activity

    Hi,
There is a requirement in our project to change the business activity transaction type say ZXXX to a new transaction type ZYYY.
Is there any standard function module which can accomplish the same.
    Any help appreciated

    Hi Kumar,
I am not sure whether this is possible or not but you can give a try. Use FM CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN and in the structure ct_orderadm_h change the field PROCESS_TYPE.
    Thanks,
    Vikash.

  • Hide a standard field

    Hello all,
I need to know: is there a way to hide a field in SRM web portal? For example, I know, in SAP ECC there is 'Field Status'; in SAP SRM.
    Thanks,
    Best Regards,
    Maria

    Hi,
As I told you the BADI "BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI" can be used only in some trasnsactions to hide the std fields/links etc.
Pls read the documentation of the BADi:
    Field Control in Purchasing Document
    Use
Using the Business Add-In BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI, you can change the visibility and the ready-to-input status of interface objects (for example, fields and pushbuttons) in a document.
You can use the BAdI to override the following documents and applications:
Purchase contract and global outline agreement
    (Filter value BUS2000113)
    Bid invitation (Filter value BUS2200)
    Bid (Filterwert BUS2202)
    Auction (Filter value BUS2208)
    Purchase order (Filter value BUS2201)
    Purchaser's Sourcing application
    Confirmation (Filter value BUS2203)
    Invoice (Filter value BUS2205)
    Vendor list
    Note
Changing the ready-to-input status of fields as designated in the standard can lead to errors. You should, therefore, avoid switching the status of a field that is not ready-to-input in the standard to ready-to-input. Do not, for example, set the object ID of an already existing contract to changeable.
    Standard settings
Using the following methods of the BAdI, you can control the visibility and ready-to-input status of header and item fields, pushbuttons, and navigation links of the concerned applications and also interface objects of cross-application screens, for example, the partner overview, account assignment, status overview or approval:
    BBP_CTR_UI_CTRL
for field control in the contract and in the global outline agreement
    BBP_BID_UI_CTRL
for field control in the bid invitation
    BBP_QUOT_UI_CTRL
for field control in the bid
    BBP_AUC_UI_CTRL
for field control in the auction
    BBP_PO_UI_CTRL
for field control in purchase orders, including the screens for purchase order response and price data in the item details.
    BBP_AVL_UI_CTRL
for field control in the vendor list.
Using the following methods, you can override the visibility and ready-to-input status of header and item fields, pushbuttons, and navigation links of the relevant application, however not that of interface objects of cross-application screens:
    BBP_SOCO_UI_CTRL
for field control in the purchaser's Sourcing application
    BBP_CONF_UI_CTRL
for field control in the confirmation
    BBP_INV_UI_CTRL
for field control in the invoice
Using the following method, you can set up the mass change transaction in such a way that the previous step need not be completed before the user switches to the next screen.
    BBP_CTR_MASS_UI_CTRL
for control of the mass change transaction.
Other then the transactions mentioned above, you need to modify the Std ITS templates(in tcode SE80) to hide the required  fields/buttons.For this you first need to find the corresponding ITS service  and HTML template for the screen in which you want to remove the button/links from.
E.g.,This is the sample code for Bid invitation screen fields:
*To make the TYPE OF PUBLICATION field under BASIC DATA tab in BI screen as display only
    IF iv_fieldname = 'BBPS_BID_UI_HEADER-BID_TYPE'.
    cv_input_ready = c_space.
    ENDIF.
    HTH.
Similarly,You can debug at runtime and see the structures and names for the fields/buttons as per the CATALOGUE  screen.

    Hi,
Please go to TCode SNRO and check if the buffering is active for object BU_PARTNER.
If yes, you should disable it to have a sequential numbering.
Go to Edit menu - set up buffering - no buffering

  • Crosstab: How to define margin size and hide a resuming field

    Post Author: jef.zapata
    CA Forum: Charts and Graphs
Hi,I've work a lot on how I can optimize space between my fields in crosstable, and now I want to decrease margin size (removing margin totally make the display of my field horrible!). How can I do that?Secondly, I want to use a resuming field to define the sorting of my group field. This kind of sorting is working very well, but I want to hide the resuming field, not only supress the value, but totally hiding the field without loosing space, because I've got another resuming field that I want to display. Is it possible? Thanks a lot! Jef----
Using Crystal Report XI, on Release 2

    Hi Suman,
if your problem is to avoid null pointer exception for EVS, before executing  RFC you can check (wdContext.node<EVS>.current<EVS>element!=null). then you can populate a message for warning the user to enter EVS field.
    and stop executing RFC.
    thanks

  • Business activity duration error

    Hi,
When I create business activity on my crm system duration field occurs initial in some cases.
Duration is INITIAL in the case shown below,
    18.01.2008  00:00 - 18.01.2008  02:00
Duration is true in the case shown below,
    18.01.2008  02:00 - 18.01.2008  03:00
Date profile is 'Activity: Actual' which use date rule 'Actual Date (Activities)'. Time zone: EET.
    Thanks,

Do you have a source control system  (svn, git,...) you use with the application?
The Model, jpr file is corrupt which may cause trouble later. Right now everything looks working, but there might some display problems when you open e.g. the application module or VO.
Save the current (corrupt?) jpr file and try to restore it from the repository until you find one which loads without the problem. Once you have on select the project in the application navigator and click on refresh (ctrl-r). This should add missing content back again.

  • Show a product tab in Business activity Meeting

    Hi,
We have created business activity as a meeting.

    Hi Vinayak,
please follow IMG menupath below and review the associated documentation
    > IMG
      > Customer Relationship Management
       > Transactions
        > Basic Settings
         > User Interface Settings
          > Set Up Screen Sequence Control
In the Screen Sequence Control (transaction CRMV_SSC) you can define
which tabs are displayed or hidden. To do this you have to create a new
screen profile and to assign this screen profile to your transaction
    type.
You need to change the "Complete tabstrip assignment of panel" settings.
    Hopefully this information is helpful!

  • ESS: Travel Request HTML form - Hide 'Trip Activity'

    Hello All,
We are implementing ESS travel mgmt. We are on the below version:
    Business package details:
    SAP_ESS 600 SP11
    BP_ERP5ESS 1.0 SP11
    SAPPCUI_GP 600 SP11
    ECC 6.0 SP's (upgraded from 4.7 to ECC 6.0)
We are using travel request 'HTML' form. In the display form, we want to hide 'Trip Activity'. I searched the customizing option for the same in IMG and didnt find any. I could able to get the FM's 'FITP_WEB_ITINERARY_DISP_HTML' from where the details comes from.
My question is, to hide 'Trip Activity', do we need to change the function module and remove that particular text? is this the only option.
    Appreciate your help!
    Thanks

    Hi Karthik
When you say HTML form do you mean Web based form or what ? I mean are you talking of Web Dynpro application or something else?

    Hi Aitipamula,
Have you looked transaction code <b>OB65</b> to deactive the business area?
Also you can technically use transaction variant (t/code SHD0) to supress the field. For more information, please check this link.
