Dear Sir,
I have windows 8.1 pro. and its automatically recovered / Reset / Refresh every day after shut down or restart machine just like (Fresh copy installed)

Hi,
I would like to know which user profile you use to log on this computer? It seems like the temp user profile was used every time.
Have you tried to create a new user account to check this issue?
Also, make sure that your computer is activated properly.

This article describes how to create and use a Windows 7 password reset disk for a computer before and after you forgot the password. You can use Windows 7 password reset CD to gain access to your computer.

Note that this procedure requires one blank, formatted floppy disk.
1. Click on "Start"->"Control"->"User Accounts and Family Safety"->"User Accounts".

4. Click "Next", and then enter your current password in the next box and click "Next".

6. Now you can remove your device and store the disk in a safe place. Once you forget the password in the future, you can take it out.

1. The created password disk can now be used during log-ins to reset the password. A reset password link appears on the account screen after an unsuccessful attempt to log in.

2. Launch Windows 7 password reset disk software. On the main interface, choose "reset Windows local account password".
3. Choose your target device, and click "Burn" to start Windows 7 password reset disk creation.
Here is how to reset Windows 7 password:
1. With this Windows 7 Password Reset USB software, boot the computer that you want to reset the password for.
2. Under Windows PE, you enter the main interface of this software. Choose your Windows system, and select the user account you need to reset password.
3. Click "Reset", and then "Yes" & "OK" sequentially to finish removing Windows 7 password.

Windows 8.1 resets startup disk to itself after every update

Hello,
I'm on a late 2014 Macbook Pro 15" retina, running bootcamp with Yosemite on one partition and Windows 8.1 on the other. I prefer OSX as my default startup disk, but every time Windows updates it resets the default startup disk to Windows. Of course I can change it manually, but this gets tedious. Does anyone know a fix for this? Any help would be appreciated.

You have screwed up your system and you're blaming the crashes on someone else. You need to stop thinking it's someone else's problem. Keeping your system healthy is your responsibility.
There is NO upgrade path from preview/evaluation copies to the released versions, anyway, so it really doesn't matter. You have to reinstall
something.
You could reinstall 8.0 and upgrade, or you could get an 8.1 disc and put that in as a fresh install (more expensive, but my recommendation), or you could see if maybe this can help you:

Is there a setting I can set that my downloads are unaffected when I close my window.

You can set the browser.download.manager.quitBehavior pref to 2 on the about:config page.<br />
That will make Firefox ask for confirmation if you want to cancel the download if you close Firefox.

How do I get iPhone photos to re-appear in "Import" window? I had "Automatically Import" turned on in Aperture prefs.

How do I get photos to re-appear in the "Import" window? I had "Automatically Import" turned on in Aperture prefs. Now I cannot see the photos in my import dialog that are still on my phone. I normally import without Photostream into specific folders on a NAS drives and with specific folder and file-naming details. I then have Aperature delete those photos as I import them.
How do I "revert" to having Aperature "forget" that I accidentally had "Import Automatically" turned on?
I tried deleting images from the PhotoStream import folder, closing Aperature, disconnecting phone, and then try to re-import.

When I turned off "Ignore Duplicates" in the Import dialog, then the photos that have already been imported into the Photostream library but are still on my phone reappeared as available to import into another Aperture Library as well as the correct folder structure on my NAS drive.

TR TO Number Ranges getting reset automatically

Hi All,
Can someone please help me to understand why the number range of WM objects - TR, TO, PCN, etc is getting reset automatically. Meaning even when I have 10 Trs or TOs created, when I see the current number range in OMLW it shows zero (that is initial).
I am doing configuration in development system & while testing all of a sudden I start getting error messages when posting the material documents in IM.
Initially I was shocked but after than I understood this. But most strangest thing is it is happening again & again. I discussed this ABAP team, but they are not able to understand.

Are you resetting the number range buffers in SM56 after the imports?
You get to the buffers using transaction SM56. Chosse there in the
menu - goto - entries. Enter in the popup the client and the object
number - then <enter>. The system will then display you all current
buffers on all application servers.
In the menu under number range buffer you should reset all the buffers
if they also show ranges that are still below any existing
quants/transfer orders/transfer requirements/etc.

Are you running Win 8 and don't want to upgrade to Win 8.1?

You will probably need to use methods two or three unless you are running Win 8 Pro.

If you have another administrator account in the system, then you can login to that user account, then launch control panel\user account\manage another account, then manually reset the password.
If you're in a domain, you can contact the domain admin.

You can lock the image exceptions via pref.advanced.images.disable_button.view_image
I do not see a pref to lock the pop-up exceptions on the about:config page (filter: disable_button)
A possibility is to hide that button via code in userChrome.css (#popupPolicyButton {display:none!important;}), but that needs to be done for each profile.

Windows 10 Has no automatic Portrait / Landscape option

My brokerage statement has the first two pages in Portrait and the remaining pages in Landscape. I print the monthly statement double-sided. Earlier Windows versions: Windows XP and Windows 8 printed the statement on an HP 3522 correctly. Windows 10 only prints a document, as selected, in Portrait or Landscape. I am currently working around this problem by printing the first two pages, double-sided, in Portrait. Then printing the remaining pages, double-sided, in Landscape. Hopefully, Microsoft will correct this limitation.
