Window appears and desappears quickly

Hello guys i've a problem..there is a window that appears and disappears sometimes in the middle of the screen, but just for one second or less!
So i can't really read what is written inside of it!
Any suggestion or idea? Can anyone help me? Thank you so much

I've no startup apps this is the problem!
I closed all the apps that were running from the startup, it's a window that appair 3,4 time for day in the middle of the screen and i can't understand what is written inside because it's so fast!
I remember that there is a yellow icon on the left and a message.
I also searched on lot of websites and forums and i'm not the onlyone tha have the same problem, but i didn't find any solution!
Any other suggestion for me?
What can i do?

Too often when I'm using my MBP, small windows (dialog boxes) appear and disappear very quickly. I don't know what application generated them, and they usually disappear before I get a chance to read them. Is there a way for me to see what program generated these windows and what where they about? I assume it should be in one of the logs in Console, but I don't know which one.
If it helps at all, the programs I most oten use are iTerm2, Chrome, and MacVim. Googling around didn't show any specific issues regarding these apps.

Also, if the notifications are showing incoming emails, look in Mail.apps > Preferences.

When i double-click the mozilla icon, it doesn't start. In the task manager i noted that the process "firefox.exe" appears and desappear after 5 seconds. The problem remains in mozilla safe-mode, but not in windows safe-mode. Thks!

Yesterday i installed the firefox 6.0 on my windows 7 computer. When i double-click the mozilla icon, it doesn't start. The only way to use mozilla in my computer is restarting the windows in safe-mode. Last thing: i already tried to reinstall the program. Please help me!

Mail message appearing and then quickly disappearing

I keep seeing alerts for email messages pop up in the top right corner of my screen. They disappear before I can even see who they are from. When I check my inbox, there's nothing. Nothing in junk mail or any other folder either.
I am getting email alerts for the emails that do end up in my inbox, but these alerts that appear and then quickly disappear are driving me nuts. There are a few forums I'm a part of and other services I use like eBay that I am not receiving emails from at all (except password reset types of emails).
My guess is that Mail is deciding that these emails are junk and filtering them, but I have no idea where they are going or how to stop this.
Any ideas?

I'm not sure this will work, but try disabling Mail alerts in Notifications, log out/in, and then set them back up.

Shut Down issue - box appears and disappears quickly

Grandson downloaded MineCraft on my MAC. I thought I had deleted all of it. Now when I shut down, a box appears for a split second and I think it is asking if I want to abort the download. It comes and goes very quickly. How can I get the shutdown to stop so I click the "abort" tab? Is there someplace else that would show me what this is doing?

hi oravocal, this might be an issue caused by the aol toolbar.
please try launching firefox into safemode by pressing the shift key after you double-click its desktop icon, go to the firefox ''menu ≡ > addons > extensions'' and disable the toolbar there.

I just bought a new nano today and I'm trying to download music to it from my itunes account but when I connect it to my computer a window appears and says an ipod has been detected but not identified properly. What does this mean?

What you have on your computer is your iTunes library, not an "account."

Whenever I try to sync my iPod touch, a window appears and says that my iPod wasn't synced because an unknown error has occured (13019). Help?

I've also noticed that it started deleting some of the music on my iPod touch, and so everything on it is screwed up.
I don't want to restore it because then I'll lose all the information on my apps. (Is there any way to recover that information along with the apps?) If I do restore it, will there be a chance that the error will occur again, otherwise I would have lost everything for nothing.

As long as all the apps are in the iTunes library, you will not lose app data by updating the iOS.

When a download was completed while in Firefox, the download window appeared, and the file would be scanned for viruses. Now I no longer notice the scanning for virus process. What do you think happened, and how can I fix it - believe me, I've looked!

When I want to download something like a picture I right click on it "save image as", the Download window appears and then everything freezes for about ten seconds untill the Downloads window closes.

HT3805 I have Aperture 3 installed and have used it for a while. Now when I try to open it, the licensing window appears asking for the registration #. Yet it says it's invalid. (I have the # from Aperture on another computer.) Any ideas?

Sometimes look-alike characters may be confused, also you may need to enter the previous registration numbers as well, if your Aperture version is an upgrade to Aperture 2 or 1.
