I have HPPavilion dv6 3134se notebook.when I purchased.its operating system was windows 7 home basic.My friend suggest me to upgrade windows 7 ultimate.he also give dvd of windows 7.i have installed it.after3days a message appear from microsoft.that your copy is not original.ITry to get my previous windows 7 home basic.when i press F 11&force to recovery amessage apear tahat window can not find a system image on this computer.I try to my level find it a message appear.thatspecify the location of the system image.How search system image on the network pleasehelp me with url address&my hp recovery partion also now not loki ngcomputer.i hope some one help me.

Windows can not find ' FILE ': error.
I have downloaded and installed the production version of SQL Developer. (1.0.0.14.67)
Windows XP SP 2.
When I started it for the first time I checked all the file association check boxes.
If I double click on a .sql file the following windows error occurs:
Windows can not find '<file>'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To Search for a file, click the Start button, and then click search.
SQL Developer does startup. The error message is closed when the OK button is selected.
Any Ideas?

Just to confirm, SQL Developer does actually open the file. The only issue is the error message displayed. I have logged a bug for that.
There is a work around until that is sorted. If you use explorer to associate the file types with SQL Developer, they open without this error.

Trying to upgrade from 10.2.8 to 10.4 (with a CDROM not DVD) on a G4.
Plenty of memory, hard drive, and processor speed.
Will not complete "Computer Check"

You should contact the vendor, and request a refund, or an exchange for a Full Retail Version, of the Tiger Install DVD.
If that is not an option, advise if you would like purchasing information.
Be sure not to, again accept grey, upgrade or machine specific CDs or DVDs.
The discs should look exactly like the images in the above links, and not say Upgrade, CPU Drop-in DVD, or "This software is part of a hardware bundle purchase - not to be sold seperately." on them.
If your Mac doesn’t have a built-in DVD-ROM player, you will have to use an alternative method of installation.

NI USB-8473 Windows can not find Driver
After I install my CAN Software 2.6.1 and connect my USB device, Windows starts the Hardware Wizard but, can not find the Drivers for this device. I started out with 2.4 and uninstalled and reinstalled it which did not help and then I upgraded to 2.6.1. This did not seem to help either. My impression is that this is something to do with Windows or the computer, but I thought I would ask if anyone has seen this problem before in case it is a hardware or software issue.

Thank you for your post. The NI-CAN driver is an inf file titled nican.inf. Instead of automatically detected the driver in the Found New Hardware Wizard, try browsing to the nican.inf file. This file is found in the following directory: C:\Program Files\National Instruments\NI-CAN\staging.
If this doesn't work, I would run the Microsoft Windows cleanup utility linked below and remove all NI-CAN registries from your system and then reinstall the driver once again.

My window can not find air port
After caieport utility my PC can not find the base , I have tried numerous times
I recently purchased one of the new Airport Extreme base stations and after carefully reading the instructions; I first installed the Airport Utility 5.5 that came on the CD onto my MacbookPro. I then connected the new base station to my macbookpro via Ethernet and power it up. I copied a previously saved configuration onto it. All my printers, IMAC and macbookpro were able to connect.
I then used my older base station and my airport express to extend the N and G networks through the house. My problem was (1) the new Airport utility would consistently lose the older extreme base station and the airport express, (2) An my HP printers keep losing the wireless connection to the new airport extreme base station. The only resolve was to consistently restart the new base station, after which (1) the new airport utility would see the older base station and express again and (2) the wireless connection to the printers would be restored.
After about a week of this, I removed the new Airport Extreme and replaced it with the older extreme (802.11N DRAFT) and de-installed the Airport Utility 5.5 and re-installed Airport Utility 5.4.2 and everything works fine.
Has anyone else experienced any problems with the newly released Airport Extreme (fully 802.11N) base stations and Airport Utility 5.5? -

Can not find itunes library on recent upgraded computer.
We recently had our computer upgraded. Downloaded itunes software. When opened itunes library, noticed mostly songs from windows came into library and with multipole repeats. Deleted them, hooked up IPOD nano and all my songs from it deleted. H..E..L..P.. NOw I can not find my library as it was before it go worked on.
If you do not have a backup of your iTunes library from your computer you pretty well are out of luck.

Hello I am new to this and I have a older model Powerbook G4 I can not find a charger nowhere. Can someone please help me figure out where I can get one? I wanna give it to my 11 year old daughter.
There are generic power adapters for use with old model Apple portables such as this http://eshop.macsales.com/item/NewerTech/APLPBI65W/ available online; a few of them out there may not have much of a guaranty or look like the original model.
Any new-stock look-alike would be a copy; some from Amazon affiliated stores may be OK. I have older Apple portables (G4) and had been on the look-out for spares, so I have at least two that I know work. These are harder to find in second hand or thrift stores now, and less likely to function. However, there is this support page about the original parts. While adapters such as the macsales model linked above should be OK...
Yet be sure to not get a Magsafe adapter, since the connector & power won't work. The older iBook G4 power adapter and PowerBook G4 units are fairly similar; but note the details below. A 45w adapter for early white iBook (G3) probably won't do when a later model wants at least 60w.

Netbook can not find operating system
I have a netbook that no does not see the operating system at startup ( thinkpad i think) it just boots to a black screen after the Lenovos screen load in, Pressing f12 brings you to the boot menu and if you click on the drive it shows the hdd and lan drives loading up from there it just boots with a message " no operating system found" . If i go to the quick start menu and look in the Photos section the files folders are still there under my computer including the disk drives ( labeled as disk 1 and not c: ) and all the program files including the windows folder. I can not boot into safe mode or system recovery not sure what the system recovery steps are on the netbook but tried loading /pressing all the f buttons on the loading screen only things work is F12 for boot menu f2 for setup screen and esc shows bios i think. since it is a net book there are no recovery disk or disk drive. This seems to have happened after possably malware got on the computer. The person using it at the time said a seemly fake antivirus popup came on screen and said system was not protected and contiuned to load when they tried to restart thats when the problem happened.

Visual Studio is a very invasive program and which provides the ability to enumerate projects and solutions for system, user should never try uninstalling it manually without any guidance.
Visual Studio made changes for your whole system, if the file has been moved or deleted this error would occur.
Since you mentioned that you get this error almost everywhere even in control panel. We suggest you repair/reinstall your Visual Studio first and check if it could be fixed.

Can Not Install Mac OS X on this computer (MacBook)
Puzzles me: Brand new refurb. MacBook with 10.5 installed.
Repartitioned the drive to get two partitions and tried to use my Full Retail OS 10.5 disk to re-install.
Get error after the language selection: cannot install Mac OS X on this computer...
Same thing if I restart with an external drive and try to install from the retail disk to the MacBook's drive. I just can't imagine why I need to use the included machine specific disks instead of the retail version. I know it works if I take the drive out and mount it via FireWire to another Mac.
So what gives?Your other answer had probably in the sentence.
I looked but could not find it so, as I remember, when Leopard retail came out with all the drivers and libraries for both PPC and Intel and some users were trying to install Tiger on new Leopard MacBooks and, like me, other cross installs, Apple released a short note that said only the install disk would work on the MacBook, not the retail. No reason was given. You have a better life because of it and your computing life is richer too.
Research Apple Partition Map and GUID. Do what you know works.
