Window does not fit on my screen, see screen shot.

In Photoshop CC when I open up a file I am unable grab the bottom of the window and adjust it, so when I make the image fit on the screen the bottom part of the image is cropped.  How do I resolve this?  See screen shot below.

Hi,
If you click on the Green Maximize button, does that work?

  • Window does not fit into page

    Hi all,
I'm creating a smartform which prints one internal table consists of 36 fields. In table line type i have mentioned the 36 fields. First four are of 4CM and other 32 fields of 2CM width. So in total i have mentioned as 80 CM.
But its showing an error like 'Main window does not fit into Page'.
    What could be the mistake?
Can anyone help me in this..
    Regards,
    Shanthi

    Hi,
U have to adjust the 36 fields into 21 cm by Allocating Space accordingly.
if Your Space is small then data will be displayed in the next line.
And display The data in Smallest  font possible.

  • Itunes still does not fit on my screen.  How can I make this happen?

Itunes does not fit my screen so I cannot even see the scroll bar.  Can I fix this?

I asked the same question a couple of days ago.  Today I read a similar post and read that there are sync issues with a 5C do two things power down the computer, make sure that no applications are running on the 5C.  When the computer restarts it will connect to the 5C after the drivers install.  At least this worked for me. I am using Windows 7, iOS 7.0.4, and iTunes 11.1.3.8 .

  • Photo does not fit in the screen

I watched that video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJMi5l9Ru-g     and tried this to do the parallax scrolling with the image this on my page. Unfortunately, my photo does not fit in the whle screen, even if I take a . jpg image  3000 px wide. ( look here ) I have no idea how I can get the photo to fit in the whole screen.
    Thank you for your help.
    Heike

    Hello again,
I'm sorry, but nothing works and I don't understand, what you mean. I will show you again with no other item on the page. I draw a rectangle which snaps each of the lines at the outside.
I got rid of the stroke and the fill.
I filled with a .jpg image 3000 px wide.
For the future parallax scrolling I need to set up the photo in vertical tile. And this is, how it shows on the screen.
I still have no idea, what I made wrong. Thanks for your help

  • Window does not open to full screen???

This one has me stumped. I recently installed / upgraded to CS5.1, set up all my preferences, keyboard shortcuts, presets, plugins. All worked fine, day in - day out,  for the last three weeks.
About three days ago this anomaly appeared...
When I zoom in (cmd +/), the window will resize, but only part way. The window will move over flush right on the monitor, but leave about one inch of space between the window and the left side of the monitor, and increase in size until it fits aprox 2/3rds of the monitor / screen. It stops enlarging and leaves about 3 inches of space between the window and the bottom of the screen. At that point I get scroll bars. So I end up with a much smaller window to work in.
I can grab the bottom right corner of the window, pull it open to fill the screen, but as soon as I go to zoom in or out, the window jumps back to the smaller size with the gap on the left side and bottom.
It's driving me crazy!! having to work in such a small window.
Option bar is "Standard Screen Mode"
All my pallets are on a separate monitor, so nothing else is on my main monitor that would limit the size of my window as I zoom in.
    My preferences are set to:
    • Zoom Resizes Windows
    • Enable Flick Panning (works fine)
    • Animated Zoom
    OS 10.5x
    10GB ram
I don't know if I inadvertently changed something to cause this. So I'm hoping someone here can solve this issue.
    Thanks in advance!
    JeffN

    Grant,
upon further investigation, the "application frame" yields other unwanted effects.
That setting gives me tabbed viewing (which I don't want), even though I have that turned off in preferences. When I open multiple documents they open not as individual windows, but as a tab in the one open window. When I go into the options bar and set the "arrange documents" to "float in windows", I get the individual windows, but then I get the same problem of the windows not zooming to the full screen, as stated in my original posting.
Also, just saw that even with the "application frame" checked, when I open a smart object layer, that window still has the same zoom issue.
    So the problem still exists.
    Any other ideas?
fyi: here is a screen capture of the original screen / zoom issue.
You can see the gray space on the left and bottom. The scroll bars are showing and the window will not get any larger.
    Thanks JeffN

  • PSE 9; Fitting image to screen, does not fit image to screen

    Hi,
I have some problems since last upgrade of Photoshop Elements 9.
Suddenly, when I am using the editor, when I want to resize the image to fit the screen, it does not do that anymore.
The image does change size, but it is considerably smaller than the screen, (or rather the available area in the editor workspace).
For example, with an image in portrait mode, Fit to screen makes it as 11%, with considerable space above and under the image.
If I zoom this image manually, entering a number 16% fits the screen.
    This used to work before.
How can I make it work?
I am sure there is some settiing, but I cannot find it.
And, it seems, that it ceased to work after the last upgrade, a couple of weeks ago. It is now PSE 9.0.3.
Of cause, it might have been something I did that made it cease working.
I don't care. But where is the setting that makes this work?
    /Anna

Try dragging out the tab containing the image; so that it floats.
Then drag the triangle corner at the bottom right - you can cover a big part of the screen real estate whilst still keeping the tools pallet and menu bar visible.
You can also click Edit à Preference à General
Then check the item Zoom With Scroll Wheel
That will let you fill or reduce the window contents quite quickly.

  • Photoshop elements 11 toolbar does not fit on my screen

I'm trying to use Photoshop elements 11 on my notebook computer, but the toolbar is too big to fit on the screen, and some of the icons are not accessible.  Is there any way to reduce the size or shape of the toolbar, or to scroll to the icons I can't see using the keyboard so I can still access them.  My computer is already set to the highest screen resolution.  Thanks for your help.

I'm having the same problem, but on a laptop. PSE11 has been really badly laid out by the designers: I suspect they've been designing on their own large screens where there is plenty of screen area and completely forgotten the "portable" side of the market. IMO the toolbar on the left, dialogue box at the bottom and menu bars take up far too much real estate. I have a 15.6" widescreen laptop and the window for the image is unacceptably small. The "Quick/ Guided/ Expert" bar is ridulously large, and annoyingly mostly unpopulated which renders it pretty pointless!
So as much as I want PSE11, I won't be buying it. Sorry Adobe, but dumbing down this software and poor screen layout has lost you a sale (and PS is too expensive, so I won't be buying that either). I liked PSE10. I downloaded a copy a week before PSE11 came out. Unfortunately I missed out on being able to buy PSE10 as it was too late by the time I decided to buy it.
Oh well, let's see what happens with PSE12- that's out in about a year's time isn't it?

  • Webdynpro does not fit user's screen

    Hi All.
How can we make sure that the webdynpro screen fits the user screen whatever resolution he might be using Without horizontal scrolling?
I have tried all layouts. But if my table or any particular row is too wide, automatically horizontal scroll comes.
I tried to put RootUielement width to 100% thinking that it means 100% of screen. But no luck.
    Any suggestions please?
    Thanks in adv.

    >exactly as many columns as are there in the table - say 14, so we fix scrollablecolcount to 14
Why would you do that?  If yo uset scrollableColCount to the same number of cols that are in the table it has no effect.  You might was well just leave the property alone.  It is only useful if you want to restrict the number of columns shown on screen.
    >Then we reduce the width to some% so as to fit the screen.
Yes but keep in mind that this will only work if there is still enough room to display all of the data. The % and pixel widths only work to widen the table, they don't restict it if there isn't enough room. What would want the rendering to do - cut off part of the table?
    >when we specify width, what is SAP's recommended way -> Is it in percentage or in Pixels?
Both are supported so it depends upon your needs. Are you designing for a very specific width that won't change as the window is resized - then use pixels.  Otherwise use percent.
    >are there any other units we could specify?
Pixel and percent are the most common, although any CSS Unit of Measure should work. Here is a complete listing:
    http://www.devx.com/projectcool/Article/19850
A couple of tips - don't mix units of measure between your table columns and the table width itself.  The size of the cell content always overrides the column width and/or the table width. That is why if you have too much data or too many columns your only way to reduce the total width of the table is to use the scrollable columns to reduce how many are displayed at once.

  • CRITICAL:  Program Error - iTunes window does not fit properly on my screen...

    Hello,
I have just installed the iTunes update and now I have a problem.  I have my task bar at the TOP of my screen, rather than at the bottom, which is more common.  Now, iTunes has written its own window into the area where my task bar would normally reside.  Not only that, but it is UNDER the task bar, so I cannot access it without auto-hiding the task bar.  Even when I do this, and resize the window, the iTunes Window goes back to taking up the full screen, except for the fact that it leaves a blank space at the bottom of the window, presumably for the task bars that are on the bottom.
How can I get this to be fixed, NOW???  I have just decided to start using iTunes regularly, outside of my normal iPhones usage, for music management.  I'm wondering if I should re-think this decision!  Help.

My igoogle homepage started loading off-center. I could hit "refresh" and it would then load properly, but I wanted it to load correctly from launch.
After disabling add-ons (extensions), I discovered that the SKYPE extension was to blame. I uninstalled the extension and now the homepage loads correctly...centered.

  • Image does not fit my TV screen

    Hi there
I have a Panasonic PlasmaTV screen 1080P and when plugging it to my Macbook it seems that the image is bigger then my TV since I can't see the entirely the dock and worse of all is that I can't see the menu bar at the top.
the only way to see the dock has been to go to the screen menu and click on overscan but then the image
thanks in advance for the help

OK, that's different. I guess the problem is that the screen resolution on the tablet is quite high and at the same time the screen is quite small - in other words the screen has a high dpi. I have the same issue with a Dell Windows 8.1 tablet. Most Windows app recognise this and automatically resize things so that you don't get unreadable font sizes. SAPgui doesn't. Until it does, you can manually set a larger font size in the SAPgui settings. That's the best you can do for now, I'm afraid.
I don't know if there SAP have plans to ever address this. I hope so...
    Steve.

  • Windows does not open and I cannot see my desktop at all

I have a 2-year old T60, on which I recently tried to defragment files to free up hard space. Now, when turned on, it displays a message that the \WINDOWS\system32 file is corrupt or missing and that I have to reinstall windows with the CD-ROM, but I don't have it anymore. Can anyone tell me how I could possibly find this file and fix it?

Two steps to be executed to determine if the system can be recovered:
    1. Easiest, boot the system and access Windows boot options (F8) and select "Last Known Good Configuraiton",..but this is unlikely to succeed if your system hive is truly corrupt since the LastKnownGood is inside the file you may be having issues with.  This recovery option needs to verified since it only takes seconds and foolish to execute the next step w/o verifying this one.
    2. The registry hive could be corrupted and a chkdsk will fix it, the Catch22 is Windows has a boot time chkdsk feature but it has to load the system hive first,....well if you system hive is corrupted then you'll never load the base components to execute chkdsk.  You can create a Bart with PEbuilder but this is a task that requires a skilled novice or interim level expertise, if this is intimidating then you can download a shareware 14 day trial version with a genuine email address for your temporary license key and visit   http://www.avast.com/eng/bart-demo-request.php   download a compiled version of BartPE ISO.
If you aren't familiar with ISO's or how to burn an ISO then you need the assistance of tech since recording ISO's is a rudimentary task compared to what you have to do next--
Boot the PE enviro from your CD (you may have to press F12 at powerup to access your Boot Options menu
Execute the PE environment and start a command / DOS shell
    chkdsk c: /f /x
Press Eneter (DUH, if you need to be told to press enter.....get tech help nub ((if you don't know what "nub" means..... you need to stop repairing your own gear))
Take note of any file errors during the chkdsk, there will be a tally report at the end of the process and depending on how badly the disk is chunked up or how large the disk is...this could take hours to finish.
If that fails, then you'll have to explore professional troubleshooting options or the possibility of a reinstallation becomes larger.
Don't just sit there, take a second and use the Kudo's button to compliment the people who help you.

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
There is a solution in Windows and Linux; there may be a solution in OSX if you can get to the graphics controller on your Operating System and adjust the Aspect Ratio within the graphics controller software.
For example, NVidia and Intel provides software within Windows and / or Linux that allows one to adjust the monitor Aspect Ratio for primary and secondary monitors.
    For Example:
In Windows, assuming one is running an Intel Driver, one need only Right-Click on the Desktop to gain access to the Intel Graphics Properties.  While obviously different in OSX; it should be reliatively as easy to find the Graphics software, assuming you have access to it at all.

  • Movie does not fit preview window

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I cannot figure it out.
I made a short movie clip with my iPhone 5. Imported it into iMovie (it looks perfect when I preview it from the event library) and then dragged that clip to a new project. Then when I play the video from within the project, it has been heavily cropped, ie the movie does not fit in the preview window.
I have tried changing the aspect ratio of the project and this made no difference. I also change the setting File > Project Properties > Initial Video Placement to Fit in Frame.
    Any help appreciated.

A lot of people who shoot video on the iPhone will hold the phone vertically oriented (portrait orientation). For shooting movies, you will get the best results when you rotate the phone 90 degrees to landscape orientation.
iMovie will always edit in landscape orientation (long side on top and bottom, short side on the sides) because this is the way TV screens work.

  • Getting "Table %TEMPLATE does not fit into window" error

    Hello,
I am trying to print a form to an old EPSON DFX-9000 dot matrix printer and am getting the error message Table %TEMPLATE does not fit into window".
This only happens when I go to that printer.  I can print fine to a laser printer.
I have tried creating a new device type and copying over the format from the laser printer, playing with the format, changing formats, ect.
I have adjusted the size of the window that my template cannot allegedly fit into but still no luck.  I have checked the height and width of the template and the window many, many times and still get the same error.
Has anyone seen this before?  Please help.   Thanks.

    Hi James,
You need to see the width and height of the Page Format which you have set in Form Attributes of your smartforms.
What ever you create should be within this width and height .
So accordingly adjust the width and height of your windows and components within them
    Regards,
    Dep
