Window hidden under toolbar

Is there a way to make Photoshop stop hiding the top left corner of my images under the toolbar, when the toolbar is parked by default at the top left of the workspace? If not, is there a way to suggest to Adobe that they fix this, so I don't have to move each and every window when I need to see the entire image at once? It would also seem natural to have Photoshop be smart enough to know that I have side palette windows open and to not put images under toolbars, palettes, etc. Anyone out there have the same problems when zooming in and out on images?

Thanks for the support Ramón. I find it annoying that Photoshop (as advanced as it is in many respects) lacks such a seemingly common sense idea such as allowing the user to see the full window without dragging, moving, using command keys, etc. When you are working with a lot of images day after day, it really is something that Adobe should fix. Where are the beta testers and are they working photographers?

Would like not to have to use any keyboard shortcuts.

No. The Tab bar is a regular toolbar in current Firefox versions, so you get the normal right-click context menu of a toolbar if you right-click the tab bar.
You can double click on empty space on the tab bar to open a new tab if you do not want to use the new tab button.<br />
You can drag a link on that new tab button to open that link in a new tab.<br />
You can also drag the new tab button on another toolbar if you would like that better.<br />
Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"<br />

  • Calenders hidden under Windows pane

I noticed in ICal two of my entourage calenders are located in the windows pull down menu under availiability. When I select them these calenders pop-up but they do not show under the calenders in the main window. How can i transfer these back to the main calender window.

    Hi,
Under 10.6 you will find the option to include them in iCal's Preferences > Accounts tab > Delegation. Put a check next to the ones you want to see in the main window. (Your details show 10.5.7 though)

  • Unsolicited ad inserted behind main browser window (pop-under)

Unsolicited ad inserted behind main browser window (pop-under) every time TheBlaze.com is visited.
    ENVIRONMENT
    Win7 SP1
Firefox 34.0 (Pop-up windows are blocked)
    DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM
Once the requested home page, from theBlaze.com server, is received by Firefox on your PC, your first mouse click will trigger the pop-under creation process. Pop-under ads are similar to pop-up ads, but the ad window appears hidden behind the main browser window rather than superimposed in front of it. The ad window is located in a new copy of Firefox. Additional mouse clicks may produce cumulative pop-under ad window creations. So, you may end up with multiple pop-under ad windows, each in a new copy of Firefox. According to many marketing “genius” this method of presenting unsolicited ads is much less abrasive than pop-ups used to be, and now recommend the use of pop-unders.
The HTML source file received from TheBlaze.com server contains (in clear) between line 158 and line 202 , the JavaScript code needed to generate the pop-under windows and also contain the URL of the advertiser.
Line numbers may vary from user to user, but look in the source file and locate the beginning and the end of the script at:
    BEGIN ADSUPPLY →
the script is located here (approx 44 lines of code)
    <!-- END ADSUPPLY →
The fact that the advertiser URL is contained in the source file indicates that, this is a well organized advertizing business. In the examined case the advertiser was "gorgonkil.com".
    SOLUTIONS TO STOP POP-UNDERS
This pop-under unsolicited ad plague can originate from any Web site, not only from TheBlaze.com. This is not hidden malware, but highly visible in the HTML page received from the unscrupulous Web site. Be aware that using the “block pop-up windows” parameter in Firefox > Tools > Options > Content > will not solve this problem.
InternetExplorer 11 also falls victim of the pop-under unsolicited ads. SlimBrowser7 survives elegantly and no pop-under windows are opened.
In the proposed 2 solutions, you will need to receive a first unsolicited ad, then take note of the advertiser URL and insert it in the Win7 Firewall or in the BlockSite Firefox extension.
If the unscrupulous Web site sends a large number of new and different advertiser URLs during one browsing session, then you will need to find a more elegant solution to the problem.
    WIN7 Firewall
The received ad normally contains the advertiser URL (e.g. gorgonkil.com).
The Win7 firewall has the capability to block IP addresses.
The fact that Win7 Firewall requires IP addresses be expressed in dotted-decimal notation (e.g. 172.16.254.1) makes it less attractive. But, should you decide to use the dotted-decimal notation, it should work perfectly
    Block Site 1.1.8 Firefox extension
Install Firefox extension “Block Site 1.1.8”. It is working very well for me.
You need to go to Block Site “Options” and “add” the URL (e.g. gorgonkil.com) you want to block.
Once enabled, the Block Site extension will display a small window for 3-4 seconds (lower right position) every time a pop-under creation is attempted by any unscrupulous offender and the pop-under will not be created.
My own “Options” file now contains more then 18 advertiser URLs (over 3-4 months).
I have stopped visiting TheBlaze.com Web site as of yesterday.

  • Top 2-3 files displayed in Finder are hidden under Finder's menu bar. How do I modify view to correct this?

Recently updated to Yosemite 10.10.2 on MacBook Pro (early 2011) and now when I open a folder in Finder, the top 2-3 files displayed are hidden under Finder's menu bar. I can scroll up to see the files, but they snap back under the menu bar preventing me from selecting or opening them. This problem occurs in the following Finder view preferences, "icons" "in lists" and "in columns" but not "Cover Flow".  Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

This sounds like a Windows thing ( You can post a photo and I can tell you for certain). Those folders are Windows system created folders that your computer has had since it was installed, all Firefox does is use the Windows File picker, which is what you see when you open that window. So, to customize you'd have to do that from Windows Explorer (not Firefox).
The Window should however remember what folder you were in last.

  • Panel Went Under Toolbar

I was working on a website when I moved the panel downwards, and it went under the windows 8.1 toolbar. I can't drag it out of the toolbar because it's al the way under ( See in screenshot ). On the screenshot, at the bottom of the toolbar, the panel is there. I need help of trying to get it out or reset it in some way.

    Hi
You can either increase the screen resolution or hide the taskbar so that you can bring panels up again.
On taskbar > Properties > Autohide > uncheck lock taskbar.
Once taskbar hides , you can click on panel.
    Thanks,
    Sanjit

  • Windows slide under Menu Bar

I've noticed recently that I can make application windows slide under the Menu Bar.  Some slide under then 'snap' back into view when I release the mouse button holding the window down.  Others that don't display the grey bar at the top of the window (like the iTunes mini player for example) don't 'snap' back into view.
Anyone else have this issue or offer a solution?  I am running 10.8.5.  Thanks.

Render at least standard sized previews for all photos prior to displaying in the slideshow.

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro text box not printing and is hidden under box highlight.

Adobe Acrobat Pro 10.1.13.  I am completing a form with text box throughout the document. I can no get the text box to printing and the text is hidden under box highlight.  I have tried printing with the print feature 'Comments & Forms/ Document and Markups' with no luck.

It's doing that because you have field highlighting enabled. YOu can either turn it off or make the field read-only (if it's only used for display and not entry).

I can no longer hide my passwords - under toolbar/options/security. They continually all show up and I'm afraid someone else may be able to see them as well. The option to hide passwords no longer appears.

  • How can I create an icon for "New Tab" (not "new window") on the toolbar?

I want to have an icon for New Tab on the toolbar. I cannot find such icon on the Customize option.
    Is this possible?
BTW I tried to check options-->tabs-->open new windows in a new tab instead, but this does not help and when clicking the "new Window" icon on the toolbar, indeed a new window - and not a new tab - opens.
    Thanks.

You can open the Customize window and drag the New Tab (+) button form the tab bar on another toolbar. It will become a regular New Tab toolbar button.
Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"

  • Can't get 1080p output to TV in windows 7 under bootcamp

I have no problems using my 40in Samsung LN610 1080p TV as extension of my Snow Leopard desktop (though it was rather tricky to get it running). However, I can NOT get 1080p output in windows 7 under bootcamp.
In detail, when I use TV as an extension of the desktop, TV shows no HDMI signal coming in if I try to use 1080p or 1080i output (using NVIDIA panel or standard win7 properties panel). However, when I drop the output to 720p then the signal gets through and TV displays 720p just fine.
I hope I explained it clearly engough. Please let me know if you are having the same trouble or if you know of a solution. I'm using the latest bootcamp drivers.
    I have Macbook Pro 13in 2.53GHz, 9400m, 4GIG RAM, mid 2009 unibody model.

This problem is not a problem with Windows or Apple. It has to do with when the updates are applied to Windows boot camp. The way to fix this is as follows. First click on the bluetooth icon from the Windows start page. Then click show bluetooth items. From this window click add a new device. When the device appears double click on the icon for the device. A window should appear that at the top says general and other. Click on the other tab and another window comes up with a small box in it. Check the box and Windows will search and install the exact, correct drivers for the device. Now the device will pair and work fine.

  • I can't add the google search window to my toolbar?

I recently upgraded to the Mountain Lion OS X 10.8
In Safari, I am unable to customize my toolbar with the google search window.  I was successful in dragging the other buttons.  I don't have a search window on the toolbar and it is very frustrating.

Apple moved it into the address bar.

  • Displayport/ USB to HDMI adapter within Windows 7 under the Bootcamp

I read that the Displayport/ USB to HDMI adapter works well with Apple but has anyone tested it within Windows 7 under Bootcamp? Are there drivers that support the adapter already?

Usually, A *[USB to HDMI Adapter|http://www.espow.com/wholesale-usb-multi-display-adapter-for-computer-a dd-on-a-second-monitor.html]* can work in MacBook/Windows OS.. You just need to download the usb display adapter driver.. But i have on idea that a *[usb hdmi adapter|http://www.espow.com/wholesale-usb-multi-display-adapter-for-computer-a dd-on-a-second-monitor.html]* can work in Bootcamp. Maybe it's OK.

  • How do I disable the MP3Tube tool bar when Firefox opens? I have already unchecked it in the views menu, under toolbar. It disappears when I do that, but comes back every time I reopen Firefox.

When I log on to Firefox, the home page displays a tool bar called "MP3 Tube" powered by Yahoo. I would like to remove that toolbar permanently from my start up page. I have tried to uncheck it in the View menu under Toolbars, but it reappears every time I log off and log back on to Firefox.

    You're welcome
