Window-invisible or commented?

Hi Folks,
Can anyone here please let me know whether we can make a window invisible or commented incase we don't have a logo for the same.I mean to say I need to have the window even if it doesn't have any logo.

Acrobat 9.3 + Windows 7 - Print Comments List CRASHES App

When trying to print comments within a PDF (via Comments View), Acrobat will crash. This happens across MULTIPLE machines Win7, WinXP, and Adobe 9.0 and Adobe 9.3. I'm supporting a user who NEEDS this ASAP! Any help would be VERY MUCH appreciated.

same problem here - just upgraded in the last month to Windows 7, running Acrobat 9.3 STD.
HP elitebook 8730W, 1/2 gig on the nvidia Quadro graphics card and 4 gb ram - so that's not the problem, 2.8 ghz on the intel core duo - better not be the problem.
very unstable - crashes every time I try to open more than 1 pdf at a pop. Also routinely crashes when doing simple thinks like putting a sticky note on a doc. Very slow on any search functions.
I've lost many many hours to this program in the last month. any permanent solutions would be greatly appreciated.

File info... window invisible

Using Illustrator CC 2014 v 18.1.1 on a MacBook Pro.
When I go to File info..., the window doesn't open. At least I'm not able to see it. The menus are all grayed out, I can't use the document, as if it's frozen. When I hit the return key, everything is fine. It's as if I clicked on the OK button on the invisible window.
I reduced the size of the document window, moved my dock to another part of the screen, minimized all the pallets, so it doesn't appear that it's hiding in the hinterlands of the screen. It's very odd, I had edited metadata before on that window and would like to continue doing so.

Before I reinstalled on Friday I tried fiddling with the application frame and the windows, to no avail. I worked today on the MBP without the BenQ monitor and, this evening, the file info panel remained visible when I booted AI after reconnecting the BenQ. I did notice that when I first opened file info on the MBP this morning the panel was minimised and placed towards the top left of the window, even though yesterday on the BenQ it was expanded and in the centre of the window.

I typed somme comments in File Info Window, box titled Spotlight comments.
All these comments are gone after System restart (Snow Leopard 10.6.8) and I am unable to read them again. But STRANGE... when I do a Spotlight research with one word I typed in Spotlight comments, the file name is displayed and I can open its Info Window, but no luck the Spotlight comments are still empty.
The chain I typed are still there in the file info but hidden to my eyes, is there a mean to retrieve these comments?

RemoteApp popup window invisible

Can anyone guide me on what to do. We have a server 2012 R2 RDS setup with some remoteapp programs. We have a program that has windows popup however these popups are invisible. They are actually there meaning it appears frozen for example until you
click the invisible OK button.
Please advise.

On my test box. This patch installs fine directly after KB2919355
however if you do a second round of updates it then fails with the "not applicable"
Where do i go from here?

SetWindowRgn causes windows invisible completely.

I have an application which creates some round-corner windows. These windows is set by calling SetWindowRgn in the message handler of WM_SIZE. Somehow, on Windows 7 with Aero mode, sometimes the window turns to invisible completely while it's being resized. You can still click buttons on the transparent window even if you cannot see them. I checked the region and it's right. They can't be recovered after you click to show desktop and then go back. The application is used for screen sharing, and the sharing is ongoing while the issue comes up.bigblueapple

Can't make JButton borders in Windows invisible

Hi all,
I know variations on this question have been asked before, but all I was able to find were answers regarding how to make the contents of a JButton transparent in Windows, and not the borders.
I have a JButton with an imageIcon in it (though the bug appears with text as well). I want to make the entire button invisible so that only the icon (or text) shows. I have set bordersPainted(false), opaque(false) and contentAreaFilled(false), but I still get a white boarder around my button in Windows (on a Mac there is no problem). Self-contained example attached.
Does anyone know the best way to solve this? I'd prefer not to have to set the whole L&F, as there is a lot of othe rSwing stuff in this app that I don't want to mess with, and I'd prefer not to have to set the L&F for all JButtons either, but a custom class for these specific JButtons might be ok, if necessary.

Child window invisible during playback

Forgive if this is discussed in the forum. I could not find
it, so just point me in the right direction if I missed it.
We are evaluating Captivate to be a part of an ERP
implementation training infrastructure. In general, we like it a
lot. One problem.
The ERP we use is a dot net application. There is a parent
window that is the main menu and child windows that open when
specific functions are selected. Some of those windows do not
appear in the playback. The mouse actions are there and sometimes
subsequent windows appear, but the first child (second open) window
often does not.
Right now we are doing simple recording, so there is no real
finessing, post recording editing, etc involved.
If we can clear this problem, we will be able to proceed with
this product.

Child Report Window Size XI 3.0 SP2 Using Javascript

Hi All,
I have to admit this is not my area . I'm trying to get a new webi report in a sizeable window using javascript. I want to achieve this by selecting an open doc link from an existing webi report.
We have been trying with the code below but get the 404 Missing Page error.
We have been trying to get this to work on Edge. Do I need to install any SDK on to the system to get this to work? Can anyone let me know the steps, please.

I have done a bit more digging and I think that you can only create a link referencing Java script in a crystal report, not Webi?
One way I thought of getting round this is to create a copy of opendocument.jp and add my Java script, in there, to resize my child window.
Any comments or experiences to share?

Others have commented on this too. It seems to be one of the 'improvements' of the newer version you are supposed to embrace with joy as an exciting new development. You can send feedback to Apple but realize you may be perceived as standing in the path of progress.

Iweb comments issue!

i have an iweb site and am using a third party code for comments as i do not have a MobileMe account for the built in comment system with iweb.
and im having an issue... so i use the html snippet widget and all works fine until there are enough comments that it reaches the bottom of the page and it like runs oout of space and i have to increase the height in order to see more.... how do i make it so the comments automatically push the page down so half of its not cut off?

Over the past week or so, I have had two people tell me that they can not leave comments on my blog. I have tried myself (from MacBook Pro, iPhone 4 and Dell/Windows) and can not get a comment to post. I get the pop-up comment window, enter my comment, enter my name and then enter the security "phrase" that is provided. Then, when I hit "Add Comment" it just sits there. It does not reqister at all. And this is all on a very simple MobileMe hosted site. No outside domain. No outside tools. Just iWeb and MobileMe.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Does anyone know if MobileMe is experiencing issues that are causing this? It sounds like I am not the only one.

Print Footer Window of PO Form at end of Last Page of PDF Forms(Adobe)

I am trying to print PO form using PDF form which includes multiple line items. At the end of last page I am trying to print the footer window that contains Comments and Signature.
Right now my Footer Window is being printed immediately after the end of line items.
I have included the Comments text box and image inside a Sub Form.
Please let me know how to print the Footer window at the end of the page instead of printing immediately after the line items.

How Could Microsoft Release the Update?
Scenario 1 and 2 will cause issues.
Scenario 1: "Windows Update (Only)"
Update 19/03/2015 Microsoft have made it known they will provide a .iso and hence not enforce a Windows Update only Upgrade path. Looks like they are taking some steps in the correct direction.
This .iso should be available for download and reinstallation but it hasn't been stated how product keys will be issued. Provided a key is issued correctly (i.e. sent to a user in an email or linked to a Microsoft Account as in scenario 3) the user should be able to download the .iso at a later date and not need to carry out a double install for reinstallation.

Scenario 2: "A Key for a Key"

In such cases the Windows 7 Product Key probably won't be needed. Microsoft aren't likely to appease pirates while simultaneously making life difficult for genuine customers.
COA Issues
If users have to input their 25 digit Windows 7 product key from their COA. In theory this would work.
In practice however if this is the only method of installation for the free upgrade then there is a problem for a large fraction of the Windows 7 OEM userbase. Microsoft provided OEMs such as Dell with COAs of terrible print quality. This didn't matter for Windows 7 OEM as OEM installation media input a generic Dell OEM SLP key.
A case like this is not uncommon and is more common for other OEMs as Dell shielded COAs by placing them under the battery.
Scenario 3: Windows 10 .iso and Product Key Linked to Microsoft Account
This is the only logically working scenario that I can see is a utility which performs the following functions:
Checks the Base Windows License is Genuine*
Tells user to Sign in with a Microsoft Account
Assigns a Product Key to the Microsoft Account (similar to Office Online)
Gives the user an option to install Windows 10 via Windows Update or to Create Installation Media for Clean Installation
End User can later sign in with their Microsoft Account to Download a Windows 10 .iso and obtain their product key

1. The Start Menu
Allow Drag and Drop from the left list to the right pinned icons. Update build 10041, Microsoft have done this.
The Start menu is bloated with Metro Apps, making it more cumbersome to find useful installed programs. Example of Start Menu to the left bloated with Metro Apps.
These should all be in a Windows Apps folder similar to all the (more useful) items in the Windows Accessories folder.
2. Windows and X Menu (Right Click Start)

I'm not a great fan of the new icons, the folders are too bright and it looks like they have been drawn in Microsoft paint. The Recycle bin particularly looks terrible.
