Window movement between two monitors

Hello there.
I'm not sure if this question would be under Swing section or not... this is the best section I could match my problem with.
- I use two monitors on my computer
- Windows XP operating system
- JRE 1.6.0_16
- EIZO FlexScan L768 Monitors
When I drag a java swing application window from one monitor to the other, the java application window kind of gets stuck while moving, unlike any other windows based application. I thought it was something to do with my developed application. I noticed that it happens with other java swing applications as well. I tried using the [url http://download.oracle.com/javase/tutorialJWS/uiswing/components/ex6/MenuDemo.jnlp]MenuDemo. This example window behaves the same way - makes it difficult to drag the window from one monitor to the other smoothly.
I have ensured that I have the latest drivers for my monitors.
I do not see a reason behind this. Can someone help me out please.

Best tiling window manager for two monitors

I am looking for a window manager, that will work thus, my main window on my main left monitor, and my stack (my unfocused windows) on my right monitor. Is there a WM that can do this or anyone know one that comes close.

Moving application windows between two monitors in Mountain Lion

I have a Macbook Pro that sits on my desk below an external monitor that is hooked into the laptop. I use the Displays setting to arrange my external monitor on top of my laptop monitor. Unitl I install Mountain Lion, I used to be able to move windows between the two screens. Now, all application windows get stuck at the menu bar. This is not a problem if the external monitor is placed to the right, left, or the bottom of my Macbook Pro screen in the Display setting. The problem occurs only when it located above the laptop monitor. Has anyone else experience this and is there a quick fix?

The arrangement in the displays setting does show correctly.
If I restart the laptop, it will let me move applications between the two displays but as soon as it wakes up from sleep, I can no longer move applications to the external display if it is positioned on top (it will work if it is postioned on either sides or bottom).
I did a fresh reinstall of the Mountain Lion operating system (reformatted the hard drive) but this did not fix it.

Firefox not remembering window size with two monitors

I have a laptop with a monitor attached - both the laptop monitor and external monitor are used as separate desktops. I have Firefox set to open on the external monitor, but it does not remember the last window size: it always opens to the size of the laptop monitor. Firefox is the only program that exhibits this behavior. I have reset, uninstalled and re-installed, yet the same behavior continues. Before re-installing, I've made sure to delete any left over Mozilla/Firefox folders.

IPhoto Window moves from external monitor to MacBook Pro

When working with iPhoto 9.5.1 on my external Apple Cinema display, the iPhoto window periodically jumps from the external display to my MacBook Pro display. This usually occurs when I work in a second application for a short while and when returning to iPhoto, as soon as I select something in the iPhoto window, it jumps to the other display. The OS is 10.9.5.

Sounds like the standard VGA connector used in computers for ages. Connector looks anything like this?

Error during Stock movement between two storage type

Dear Friends
How do i move the stock from one storage type to other storage type within a warehouse?
In the material master i have maintained a storage type indicator for automatic storage type determination.
now when i create a TO for moving the stock from the orginal loaction to other location (NOT INTERIM) i am getting an error
Error occurred during storage section search (1740 003)
Message no. L3041
Diagnosis
No storage area search has been defined for this material and this storage type.

Intrastat for goods movement between two plants

Dear All
I have question need your help.
Now we have two plants located in different countries, one plant is in NL (Netherlands), another plant is in DE (Germany).
And we transfer stock from NL to DE in SAP by MIGO(301). But actually this belongs to Import/Export business.
So we need to report to Intrastat system. So we need to do the intrastat declaration.
But could you tell me how I can realize the intrastat in SAP system.
Currently we manually do the intrastat.

For intrastat reporting you need to add a condition type in your pricing procedure GRWR.
Requiremnet routine 8 . Alct condition base value formula need to be created to read net value, if net value is zero then to read cost price.

Tracking of Material Movement between two customers

Dear All,
We have already sold product to customer using SD Cycle.Being Non Moving at Customer end , Is it possible to trannfer to other customer? We don't want any accounting entry in SAP , But want to track serial number base material transfer.Also want to give warranty to new customer.
Pl suggest how to configure this senarion in SAP.

I am sure, your comments fulfills the requirement of movement type 601 (normal sales) in which case, you cannot transfer the goods to other customer. If at all, you want to transfer due to non moving at customer end, from SAP point of view, you need to create a return order, do PGR, raise credit memo and redo the sales process to alternate buyer.
Here again all these can very well done but it will be documented in SAP.
We don't want any accounting entry in SAP

"Show doc panel" on two monitors

Hi,
JDev 11.1.2 offers super behavior "Show doc panel" on "Completion insight" menu.
Unfortunately with two monitors (JDev active on right one)
is display of doc panel ruptured between left and right monitor and in practice useless.
Is there any chance to disabled rupture of "show doc panel" between two monitors?
Or, maybe, forced displaying of "show doc panel" on the right to "Completion insight" menu?

I figured this was assumed, but if not: Yeah, you need an extra display card. If you only have one monitor, you'd need two more of those as well.
I'd say you could get some real cheap-o LCD's for the QT displays as having QT playback on a large screen isn't visually needed --and less pixel pushing equals a faster Mac overall.
I dunno. I think it would work easily enough.

Bridge does not tile thumbnails accross two monitors after restart

After restarting my computer Bridge suddenly quit tiling the images being displayed and only shows one row on the primary content panel.
The only alteration to my system prior to restart was installing DivX. System was restarted after bridge refused to open, and Task Manager did not give any indication of Adobe products running.
Am I missing some obvious setting, and if so do you know why it reset after a restart when it's worked repeatedly for months. I've tried restarting multiple times, I've reset the workspace, and each time I then expand the window accross the two monitors it automatically removes the grid resizes to largest size and maintains the single row even as I adjust for smaller thumbnails.

on one monitor it works as it did before, just not with the second monitor, which it did before.
Did you besides resetting the workspace also try to reset Bridge prefs by restarting Bridge holding down cntrl key and choose reset prefs?
This is the first thing to try whenever bridge start acting other then before all of a sudden.
There can be many things disturbing applications and Bridge is a critical app in this one.

Clicking anywhere on one monitor loses the active window in the other monitor

Windows XP Pro, two monitor setup which has worked without issue for well over a year. Still works, with the following quirk: Suppose I am sending an email and I wish to attach pix which I am selecting from Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) on the left side and my email front end on the right side. I have a few other windows open on the right side, in the background. I am just picking photos shown on the left monitor to attach to the email I am working on in the right monitor. Simple.
The email front end is on top of any open windows on the right. When I click on the left screen, the right screen (apparently) reverts to whichever window it thinks is "most important"...but in any event, the desired target window goes away so there is no place to drag & drop the pic to. UNLESS, of course, my target window (the email front end in this case) is the "most important" window but there is no way (that I know of) to achieve that or to know in advance whether it is or is not....>>THAT<< being able to "pin" a particular window as "topmost" or "topmost until I change it" would solve the problem as far as I'm concerned. Yet I have never had to do anything like this before. Got something going on the right hand screen? Go to the left screen? Why should anything I do on the left influence what I am doing or what I am seeing on the right? It shouldn't. When I leave one screen, it should stay just how I left it.
Likewise, if I have a piece of stock tracking software running in a window on the right and Excel on the left side, when I click anywhere on Excel, the stock-tracking window goes away and reverts to some other window which (I guess) must be "more important". I would somehow need to be able to designate whatever window I am working on on the right screen as "most important"....this would fix the problem. But again, I have never had to do this before. Go work on the other screen, and the screen you left remains as it was. (How could you work if it was different??)
And by the way, it appears to work the other way (excel on right, stock-screener on left, or....WDOs Explorer on right, email on left.)
Frustrating and non-productive. It never did this in the year or more I've been using the same hardware. Dumb 5-year old hp desktop. I recently replaced my hard drive. I know I updated FF some months ago but this problem is much newer than "months ago"...it just started to occur about a week or so ago! It's quite the PITA.

I FIXED this problem: DEinstall Firefox, REinstall Firefox. Done.

HT1379 The USB ports on my 30" Cinema are not working. The monitor has not been used for a year or so, and the computer is a Mac Book Pro, 1012 model running OS Mavericks. I need to move the computer between two locations, and the other monitor is a 27"

The USB ports on my 30" Cinema HD display appear to not work. The monitor has not been used for almost a year, when I upgraded to a new Mac Book Pro and the 27" retina display. Now I need to move the computer back and forth between two locations using the two displays. The need for operating USB ports is essential. Any ideas. The display appears entirely normal. No problem before I went to Maverick.

I found the fix, go to System Preferences and open Mission Control and uncheck the box to keep monitors as they were (When switching to an application...........)

An Illustrator window on each of two monitors

Hi. I'm working on two Illustrator drawings simultaneously, so I want an Illustrator window on each of my two monitors.
The only way I can find is to drag-resize the entire Illustrator window so that it fills both monitors, and then drag-resize each of the drawing windows to fit an individual monitor. There must be a tidier method than this?? Most programs treat 'internal' windows as separate entities that can be moved between monitors.
Tried dragging windows but they won't move outside the overall Illustrator window.
Tried opening a new instance of Illustrator - won't allow more than one Illustrator process even if started as a new task through Task Manager.
Can't see anything in menus, Help or forums.

You don't mention your OS nor Illustrator version but in CS3 WinXP... that's the only way – AFAIK – to do it. Yes, it is a pain....

And if it is possible to have a floating part of a window ( that I can move it around the screen )?

Ill give an example of what I mean:
Lets say that I have window with few tables from this window I open another window with a list. now I want to dynamically
move an item from this list to one of the tables in the parent window or move an item from one of the tables to this list.
Can this scenario be implemented in abap webdynpro?
