Window resizing and how to keep the window at that size.
Having trouble with the applications window not staying the same size after I resize it. I know that dragging the corner will resize as well as the green button, but after I close it, it reverts back the small window and not to the resized window after I have done the above. Went to an apple store and no one there knew how to fix it or maybe I didn't explain myself very well.
I assume you're opening the Applications folder in a separate window through an alias or a Dock icon... if so, just open it, move and resize it the way you want, then immediately close it again. That should do the trick.

(I Set the new finder window open is Applications Folder) If I set the Home Folder or other folder for new window open, then it can remember the windows size and toolbar size last time I opened. Open /Applications/Utilities/Terminal. At the prompt, copy and paste the following text into the Terminal window, then press <RETURN>:

When you press <RETURN>, you will be asked for your admin password. Enter it, then again press <RETURN>.

Export photos and how to keep the event stucture?

I have been searching the iPhoto section but didn't found the answer.
Who can help me?
My photos are organized in events (I decided not to use albums anymore).
I now want to export all photos and use the event name as folder name.
The event export feature exports all photos but the event separation is gone.
Example:
"Event 1" contains 10 photos Pic_1 - Pic_10
"Event 2" contains 20 photos Pic_1 - Pic_20 (yep there are duplicate filenames)
This is what I want to see after the export (30 pictures in 2 folders):
\Event 1\Pic_1
\Event 1\Pic_10
\Event 2\Pic_1
\Event 2\Pic_20
How to do this?

Do you mean that I have to create a target folder per event and do the export per event?
I am sure this will work but I want to avoid this as creating 200+ event folders manually is too time-consuming (anyone with a clever AppleScript to do this job).
Decided to do a quick-and-dirty backup by opening the photo library package contents and copy everything in it to a network drive.
But I am still interested in an easy way to create event directories including the current pictures.

I recently did the latest update for my MacBook Air and when I use a specific website it won't open the popup blocker at a normal size. Any ideas on how to keep the popup blocker at the size that I select?
This is a user to user forum and Adobe Staff does drop by.
First thing to try is Reset the Type Tool by right-clicking on its' icon in the Options bar.

I've deleted Adobe Reader 11 and rebooted and reinstalled Adobe Reader 11 and I still get the error message that 'Adobe Reader is blocked because it is out of date'. Using Windows XP with the latest updates (SP3).

Google Chrome is a problem:
if you use Chrome's own PDF viewer, the results are unpredictable.
if you use the Adobe Reader plugin with Chrome, it may reject (block) it if it is not the latest version. Reader 11.0.08 is the latest version for Windows XP, but Chrome may insist on the current version 11.0.10.
My suggestion; use a different browser! -

Exactly which driver did you downlaod and from where? By "GET STRAT", do you mean one of the Getting Started VIs? Error 5 means "NI-488: Command requires GPIB Controller to be System Controller." Are you using GPIB to control the instrument? If so, what type of board are you using and which version of VISA and NI-488? If the error only occurs on a read, try issuing the query from MAX and see if the error occurs there. In a couple of the Xantrex drivers I looked at, there seemed to be some fixed delays after a write and before a read. You might try increasing those values to see if that makes any difference.

I am trying to work out how to keep the whole page open in Safari i.e. the top most line with the Apple logo, file, edit, view etc. whilst browsing. What is the setting to achieve this ? Since installing Yosemite my MBP 2011 with SSD is behaving oddly at times. Where is the "back" when in Support Communities or is going into the history tab the only way ?

So I can go back to the reference page from where I first visited a thread.
Also, pages open faster at times into a new window instead of a tab. As
my setup has a bit more display than necessary, a few extra windows are
easier than a bunch of tabs in one frame that have no point of reference.
Plus, if I wish to copy/paste or drag into another window, or access extra
content for the sake of reference, I have that; & may use another browser.
For some content, different browsers may be a preference. I'm used to more
than two, and one of three becomes more dedicated to things like web mail.
There may be some options in launchpad items, such as they are.
Mission Control can access other hidden windows. There's a short
cut for Full Screen that when used again, reverts to previous size.
Not sure if this gets near your question, but thought I'd put it out here anyway.

i am working with Two level PO approval process.
approver as an four option 1.to display the report 2. edit 3. release 4. reject .
whoever the approver chooses the option 1 &2 ( to display the report ) the report should be displayed ( custom report) to the approver and it should keep the workitem back to the inbox.
i debugged the SAP standard functionality for Cancel and keep the wokitem in the inbox.but i didn't get how to use the same in my program.
my workflow should behave as same as cancel and keep workitem in the inbox whenever approver chooses to display the report.
please can any one help in achieving this functionality.

It is not easy for anyone here to say whats wrong with a custom report that doesn't display. There are always several possible reasons, but you (or another good ABAP-programmer) should be able to locate the problem by debugging. -
How to keep the WBS & Order in account assignment tab of SD contract item?

If I remove the plant from the shipping tab in the contract item (the contract type is WV), I will be able to enter the WBS or Order in accounting assignment tab. However, if I enter the plant (in order to determine the tax in pricing), the WBS and Order are disappered and there is one new settlement rule button showed up.
Do you know any configuration could keep the WBS and order in the accounting assigment tab even the plant is there.

Thanks for your answer. However, I even added the plant in the WBS, the tax (we use tax jurisdiction) still could not be determined.
The problem is that SAP changes the account assignment tab screen (it suppresses the WBS and Order fields, but addes settlement rule) with the plant in the shipping tab. Do you know how to keep the same account assignment tab screen with the plant in the shipping tab?

As long as the registration page is within the same session, the values will remain in the session until they are specifically cleared out. This can be done by a process on a page - so check if you have a "reset page" process on P1 and, if you do, delete it. This can also be done on a branch - so check the branch that takes you to P2 and see if there is anything entered in the Clear Cache setting and, if it shows *1*, remove that. There are other ways as well, but these are most typical.
