Hi,
under windows seven, 64 bits, enterprise N edition.
icloud installed, updated to latest version.
iTunes udated to latest version.
ihone 4S with ios 5.0.1
ipad ios 5.0.1
photostream is not synchronized at all. it is checked in the icloud panel, but the directory remain empty.
photos taken on iphone apear quickly on ipad, so they are in icloud.
but never on my PC.
I have checked the right of the directory, without any success.
any idea to force the synchronisation, even manually ?
I tried to reboot, lougout, login, etc...
nothing is working.

I found a thing which make me progress :
I have uninstalled icloud.
rebooted my PC.
launched Apple update.
apple update told me that there is an update with icloud.
I have installed it.
launched icloud, configurate it to sync my photos.
it has worked.
and now, again, I can't have the new one, taken since this syncrhonisation...

I can use icloud.com in IE10 but the odd thing is that I believe iCloud in not compliant with IE10 and needs to run in Compatibility mode. But for some reason IE10 see's it as compliant. You can go into the Compatibility mode through Compatibility view settings and manually addin icloud.com. As for icloud in my opinion its really forgot about the rest of the world that does not use a Mac, iPhone or iPad. I cannot get the settings to work with icloud with any Android device, or using Chrome browser even though selecting display desktop site gets you a slightly broken icloud.com on Chrome browser in Android. Although many things dont work right. Same goes for IE10 as I have expieienced with crating a email message. It appears as though the backspace after the first line of a message does not work and I could not reposition cursor either. I am so glad I don't have to use icloud for much because I doubt I could deal with it as it is now. I guess another option is to try Chrome on your PC or Firefox?
Chrome should work as it is a WebKit based browser as is Safari. If iCloud works with Safari it should work with Chrome. But anymore their is no guarantee's.

Windows 8.1 Enterprise "update 1" programs not closing

Since I've applied Update 1 to my Windows 8.1 Enterprise machine, programs and apps do not close.
If you Exit or click the X, the window closes.
If you open Task Manager, you will see that they are still running.
The only way to finish closing them is with Task Manager (End Task).
One issue this causes - IE11 and Chrome do not remember the tabs I had opened, because the program isn't "closed" in the background. (With
Chrome, you can still see "recently opened Tabs" and re-open the last session. Unfortunately, with IE11, you cannot get back to the tabs you had open.)

A few things you could try:
1.Clean Boot
2.Create another User Account with Administrative privileges and recheck the issue.

I've the same problem with my Z87-G45.
The button "fill speakers" in the last Realtek 1150 driver simply doesn't work at all.
It perfectly works Under Windows 8.1 drivers, but I can not correct my room with Windows driver.

What apps were you looking for? The apps you purchased from the App store will not be there, and unless they are iCloud-enabled apps that sync documents and data with iCloud, they don't take any space in your iCloud account.

iTunes has to contact Apple during the sync process, but iTunes can only sync the phone, if you can launch iTunes, which seems not to be the case, as "...the required software is not installed.."
And, even if I have reached level 6, please remember, that not everybody is used to phrases like "d/l" or "w/pcs", especially if your post can have more than 160 letters

Most recent version of Mozilla Firefox (Windows 7 64 Pro) will open but not display any content in the open browser window.

After logging into Laptop, Win 7 64bit Pro and launching Mozilla Firefox the browser window opens but the content is blank or black. Mouse over produces change and the only thing I can get to display is when I click in the area the Config/Setup icon would be on the tool bar.

Apple ID's can be used for anything, a single ID can be used for all your accounts (ie iCloud, iTunes, MAS, Apple community etc), ideally this would be the way forward. So far as iTunes goes you need to continue to use the same ID as you have always used or you will lose access to your previous purchases and your iTunes match subscription.
If you are using a second ID for iCloud, you can continue to do so or use the ID you use for iTunes, but if you choose the later you will need to move all your calendar, contact etc data to the account using the ID you use for iTunes.
When (if) you change which account you use you would delete the account on an iOS device and log back in with the correct details, on a mac you would sign out in the iCloud system preference pane.

Intel Xeon Windows 64 Bit : Which Oracle software Version?

we have Windows Enterprise Server SP2 64 bit with Intel Xeon processor and would like to install the SOLMAN with Oracle.
According to the original Oracle-DVD from SAP there are only three possible choise entries:
a) AMD64
b) IA64
c) I386
But I have the feeeling it should be one choice like "x86" is not?
Which one should we apply?
The I386 can be installed indeed, but we are getting the error during the SAPINST-Installation "Oracle software not installed". I thought this entry was only for 32 bit?
The IA63 Bit can not be installed.
Only the AMD64 we could install. But the question is, whether AMD is the same to Intel Xeon?

You have still a "32-bit" platform ONLY.
1. Intel 64 is not AMD64, they are different. AMD64 implementation is only meant for AMD processors although the family is 64T support, full implementation is NOT done.
2. Your assumption of x86 is correct. You MUST go for I386 option ONLY !!!
3. Error of "Oracle software not installed" is different and you should not relate it to hardware. It is only for the environment variables and registry.. This will happen even in normal case..
Once again, you should NOT use AMD64 and IA64.. Try only with I386 option..
BTW, firstly, whats the reason for you to choose a 64-bit o/s that are meant for 64 - bit Itanium systems... CHoose a operating system that fits and will work with SAP optimally!
You should only choose a 32 Bit Enterprise edition of operating system. Windows Server 2003 R2 well works in your case and should be your choice !!
Finally your combination should be -
1. Windows 32 Bit Enterprise Edition R2 ---> O/s
2. i386 DVD -
> SAP/ Oracle DB

I recommend you do as LexSchellings and I are telling you to do. If you have uninstalled iTunes and the reinstalled it from Apple's website and it still does not work, you will have to contact the Apple Technical Support section for them to guide you through steps to try and get it working.

Get an Error window, The source folder does not contain any supported camera raw files

I am using CS2 and it would not open up my latest RAW files, I was getting a warning Could not complete your request because it is not the right kinds of document. So, I checked the Camera Raw Plug-in and it says Version 3.7. I see that my camera an Olympus E-20 is supported. But it is not opening the Raw files, the day before I took jpeg and they have opened. I will not trash my Adobe Photoshop CS2 because it was a royal pain to install and I don't know where the CD is.
I installed the latest DNG Converter and when I try to open up the folder which has all the RAW images that didn't open in Adobe, I still get an Error window that says, "The source folder does not contain any supported camera raw files." Why? It says it supports my Olympus E-20. I actually have the E-20n, I don't think that is the problem. My RAW icons usually show up as small image thumbnails and this time they are gray icons only with the incorrect date under the icon. Is there another product I can use without spending money? These images I took in RAW were special and I don't want to lose them. Please help!

Hello, I was using only CS2 with my Olympus E-20n for 5 years, no problem. It just started acting up in RAW this year. I downloaded Picasa that same day and now it seems to be opening up all of my RAW files that didn't open the other day. So, I think Picasa installed a new plug-in adaption to CS2 because now all my RAW icons have a new logo on them, the same one that's in Picasa. Strange, but it works now and I am not complaining anymore. I love CS2 and the many ways I can adjust RAW files, so I am using it, Picasa is a sideline now that I can take a look at many thumbnails and it organized all my photo files by the year and folders. Amazing free software. I have probably 60,000 images in my computer and an external hard drive and Picasa picked them all up and made a library, cool.

You may be having a problem with some extension or plugin that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
