Window Size...How does it retain the current size?

Hi,
I have a 30" display. Every time I reboot my Mac Pro, I have to resize my main drives window to make it bigger. I never seems to keep.
Is there a way to fix this?

If you ran that terminal command, all of your invisible files will be visible in Finder. If you are still not seeing the .DS_Store file, what is the partition scheme and format of the external?
You can run this command in Terminal (replacing "YourVolumeName" with the name of the External Drive) to remove the file if it exists
rm /Volumes/YourVolumeName/.DS_Store
If you have a space in your volume name, add a backslash ( \ ) before the space.
Example
rm /Volumes/Server\ Backup/.DS_Store
This would be a volume/external drive called Server Backup

Since the upgrade to version 9.0.1 of Firefox, the Bookmarks feature changes are confusing me. They seem to be confusing themselves as well. The list of bookmarks has changed. The font size is so small that my aging eyes cannot read it without fogging the screen with my breath. Some folders are out of alphabetical order (where I know they were previously good), and some are missing altogether (folders to which I frequently add references).
As for missing or deranged files or folders, was there something that I should have done or now need to do to recover those after the upgrade (or before)?
With regard to font size,
1. there is no “Edit Bookmarks” or like option to edit the list in this version
2. the “zoom” option in the “view” list of functions is greyed out when in “Show All Bookmarks” window
3. expanding the browser window has no effect on font size
4. “Preferences” settings for font size has no effect in that window either, including advanced settings
5. “Help” offers none that I can find.
Can any of you Help?!?

Set your ruler increments to pixels Preferences>Units & Increments. You can fill the text box with placeholder text Type>Fill with Placeholder text and get a word count from the Info panel with Show Options turned on from the flyout.
From the Transform panel you can set a text box's width and height

All versions of Photoshop get their fonts from your OS. Just install any missing font wherever Windows keeps fonts.

Time Machine is one such program, although it is a recursive backup program which offers limited archive capability, based on the capacity of the backup destination, and it requires you set it up before you start editing your files. Some programs are also Versions aware, which offers a kind of restore capability by file. Again needs to be setup before you start editing.

It does show the aggregate size.
Command-Option-I opens the Inspector window. (Or open the File menu and hold the Option key. Get Info turns into Show Inspector.) The Inspector is similar to the Get Info window but it shows aggregate info for multiple selections. It is also dynamic — if you change the selection while the Inspector is open, the info changes to reflect the current selection.
