Window size is not inhertied from OLB

Hello,
I have created a OLB from the shipped OLB ,with all the required
objects, i have set window(CGSO$WINDOW)width and height
according to my application requirement but, when i generate the
form from designer it takes different values.
I even have specified the name of the object CGSO$WINDOW, in
the "template/object library" property of the window.
can any one of you help me with this
thanks

If there's a way, I'd love to know, too. But I take it there's not, since no one has responded.
Whenever I open Finder (clicking on the icon in the dock) after relaunch or reboot, the window is tiny. It never remembers the size I had been using. I have to resize it, including the column widths and sidebar width, every single time. VERY annoying. This never happened pre-Mavericks. Previously, Finder kept these preferences, and used them every time you opened a new window, even after relaunch/reboot.
I tried a solution someone posted in another thread (deleting finder plist, etc.), but it didn't work. Perhaps it works with previous OS versions, but not Mavericks.
I strongly suggest everyone who is annoyed with this to submit feedback to Apple:
http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html
Hopefully if enough of us complain, they'll finally fix this bug.

  • How do I get to my bookmarks in my bookmarks toolbar that do not show because my window size does not allow them to show?

    In the 3.x versions of Firefox there was an area after your last bookmark in the bookmark toolbar where you you could click and access all your bookmarks in the toolbar if the window size was not big enough to show them all.
    Now in 4.o all that shows are the bookmarks in the toolbar that fit in the window size. So if I have my browser window set to 900 pixels I can only see the bookmarks in the toolbar that fit in that area and I have no way of getting access to the ones that are not showing unless I make my window bigger. But even then my window can only get so large because of my monitor size at which point I can not access any of the other sites in the bookmark toolbar.
    Am I missing something or is there a glitch in the 4.0 version?

    Hi
    Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately there is no chevron sign after the last bookmark nor after the "Bookmarks" text that if clicked takes me to all my regular bookmarks and oddly does not even list my Bookmarks Toolbar folder. If I want to get into my bookmarks toolbar folder I have to the top menu and click "Bookmarks" next to the "History" link and then navigate to the Bookmarks Toolbar folder. Something odd is definitely going on and it's getting annoying.
    Any suggestions welcome. I attached a screen shot so you can see.

    # In Firefox, type ''about:support'' into the address bar and press Enter.
    # Click the Show Folder button. A Windows Explorer window opens.
    # Right-click the Firefox taskbar icon and choose either Close All Windows or Close Window.
    # In the Windows Explorer window that opened earlier, delete the ''localstore.rdf'' file.
    # If you have Firefox pinned to the taskbar, right-click the taskbar icon, then right-click the Firefox icon in the menu that pops up and choose Properties.

  • Windows 7 does not wake from sleep to renew DHCP Lease

    I am having trouble with DHCP and sleeping Windows 7 systems.  My Windows 7 systems go to sleep after an hour or so.  The Intel and Broadcom NICs we have use ARP offloading so they continue to respond to ARP while the machine is sleeping.
    The problem is that after the DHCP lease expires, the NIC continues to respond to the ARP requests and that causes IP conflicts on the network because the computer is responding to ARP requests for an IP address the computer has lost its lease on.  Any
    time a computer is asleep for longer than the DHCP lease time then when a new computer gets the IP from the lost lease, an IP conflict is reported because the new leasee does an ARP to see if the IP is in use and the sleeping computers NIC responds to the
    ARP and this results in an IP conflict for the new leasee.
    I opened a ticket with the Hardware Vendor, which is Dell in this case, and they opened an engineering case with Intel - the NIC OEM.  The outcome of this case what that this is Windows fault.  Windows is supposed to wake up from sleep and renew
    its DHCP lease at the lease half life and then go back to sleep.  My computers are not doing this.  They let the lease expire while they are sleeping.
    Is there a problem with Windows 7 that prevents it from waking up and renewing its lease periodically?  It is supposed to maintain the lease according to Dell and Intel, but in my case it it not.

    Extending the lease time is a bandage on the problem, and it is what we have done while I attempt to resolve the issue.
    The network group would like the lease time set to 4 hours.
    Extending the lease time doesn't resolve the issue because it only makes the problem occur less freqently.  With a 2 week lease, a machine needs to be asleep for 2 weeks before it causes a problem.  Machines are not likely to be asleep for 2 weeks
    very often.
    The resolution would be to figure out why a sleeping Windows OS is not maintaining its IP address.  If it is not going to renew the DHCP lease while it is asleep, it is still responsible for updating the TCP stack (and the NIC) to let it know that it
    no longer has a lease to that IP address.  The OS has offloaded ARP to the NIC, which continues to respond to ARP while the computer is asleep.  If the OS lets the lease expire, then it needs to notify the NIC to stop responding to ARP requests for
    that address.

  • Fonts sizes do not match from Fireworks to coding software

    I am creating bitmaps in FireWorks for a GUI that is being
    implamented in MS Visual Studio. The bitmaps are being saved at 96
    dpi per the engineers request. When i spec a font size that works
    in the Fireworks environment it comes out larger when typed in
    Visual Studio.
    I tried to replicate the problem using Photoshop and got the
    same problem. when i bumped the dpi down to 72 and typed the
    specified font sized it worked perfectly. If i keep the dpi at 96 i
    have to bump the font size down from 14pt to 12 and it seems to
    work
    Any clue as to why this is happening?
    Thanks

    They would, because print is different to screen. The OPs

    about bitmaps and not printing. I don't cover printing on my

    I do give definitions on the site. As for "universal" the
    terms I use
    are universal in the Windows world, except when even
    Microsoft
    documentation gets it wrong. Documentation, in a large
    company, is
    seldom written by the people who write the software - they

    The concept of screen logical inches, as opposed to screen
    physical
    inches, is difficult because they are both referred to as
    just inches.
    Logical inches are referred to in Microsoft documentation and
    a problem,
    as with most Microsoft documentation, is that they almost
    never explain
    what they mean. They take it for granted that if you need to
    read it
    then you know what it means. This document mentions logical
    inches in
    the last paragraph.

  • Finder Window Size Issues (not resizing properly)

    everytime I open a window in the finder it opens and I drag to resize and then close. I reopen the folder and its size is wrong not what I just resized to. This happens on every finder window not opening how I resized it. Any clues?

    This has been pet peeve of mine for years. Apple invented windows, but it seems to be the only developer which is incapable of programming the operation of this basic interface correctly. Even Microsoft Windoze got this right when they stole the concept. When you hit the resize button in a Microsoft application the window does the same thing - every time, while every Macintosh application acts differently when you click the green button...very annoying, to say the least.

  • Quicktime Plugin crashes and Window size not correct when running a course from an LMS (Coursemill)

    I am trying to run a course from an LMS (Coursemill) and a couple issues are occurring.
    First, the quicktime plugin crashes, therefore the mp3 sound of the course does not play. When I reload the page, I get an "Unable to find API adapter" error message and the page won't load.
    Also, the predetermined window size does not work properly and I end up with vertical and horizontal scroll bars which I do not want.
    These issues are of high importance and need a solution ASAP. Please contact me.

    If you haven't already visited the using QuickTime Plugin with Firefox KB article, I would recommend you first start there. If your problem still persists & no solution is found after referencing it just reply back to this response & we will go another route.

  • How do I set the Launch window size (from launch from an LMS) in Captivate 5.5?

    When my project launches from the LMS, the lauch window is smaller that the actual project size and requires the user to resize the window to see the whole project. My LMS administrator tells me that the launch window size is not controlled by the LMS so I am trying to figure out how I can set this to match the project dimensions.

    The size of the browser window CAN be controlled by the LMS, but some LMSs are hopeless in this area and don't provide the settings to do so.
    Moodle for example allows you to specify that the course content will open in a new window each time an item in the LMS TOC is clicked and what the height and width of that window will be. However, all versions of SumTotal before the latest one did not give you this option (and that despite the exhorbitant price difference between these two products.)
    So your LMS admin might be correct in that HIS particular LMS cannot control the size of the launch window, but that's not because no LMS can do this.

    After upgrading to FF 10.0, my window sizes are not correct. I use a web-based invoicing system and my invoice windows used to open to the size of the invoice. Now, it opens invoices in full screen. I need the invoice windows to open the way the site tells them to open. How do I make that happen again and never change after that?

    Safe mode disables the installed '''Extensions''', themes ('''Appearance''') and '''Plugins''' in '''Tools''' ('''Alt''' + '''T''') > '''Add-ons'''. So it could be that an extension is causing it. You can try to isolate it starting with script blockers and similar extensions and '''Disable''' or '''Remove''' it.

  • Firefox will not remember last window size

    I am using Firefox 32.0.2 on a Windows 7 computer.
    Starting yesterday when a new window opens it will not remember the window size. It always opens to a small window that takes up about 1/4 of the screen. It should remember the last window size used and open new windows to that size.
    I have not changed anything on the computer since it last worked that I am aware of (it is a work computer so IT could have done something).
    I have already done a reset and deleted and recreated localstore.rdf.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You may have a corrupt '''localstore.rdf''' file.

    No. This is operating system stuff. But you can set the pref in PS to at least not treat every Window separately in Aero Peek. That way they only show up as "Adobe Photoshop"...

  • Forms 10g window size in unix

    Hi, when I migrated from 6i to 10g I added some code to maximize window size in When-New-form-Instance trigger of the form. It works in windows but when I try to run the form in Unix the window size is not big enough to see the whole form. i tried to change the width and height properties of the window1 but still not working. after researching the forum I found out that i should change the width and height properties in formsweb.cfg. In formsweb.cfg the width is 750 and the height is 600 should I change those numbers ? to what? and would it miss the rest of my application? or not? Please let me know it is urgent... Thanks in advance for helping...

    Just like on Windows, the Developer suite will be installed in a similar directory structure on Unix. In order to change the UNIX file, you will need to be logged in as ORACLE on the UNIX server or your account will have to have Read/Write priv's on the formsweb.cfg file. First, will need to navigate to the ORACLE_HOME directory (typically it will be something like: /usr/oracle/ias10g/ depending on how it was installed on your server). Once in the ORACLE_HOME directory it is just like your workstation. The "formsweb.cfg" will be found in the /forms/server/ directory. If you put that all together, based on my example, the path to the formsweb.cfg would be: /usr/oracle/ias10g/forms/server/formsweb.cfg. If you have made it this far, I recommend checking the file permissions on the file.
    Type:
    ls -l *.cfgHere is an example from my test system.
    -rw-------    1 oracle   dba           22286 Aug 21 07:43 formsweb.cfgAs you can see in my example, the formsweb.cfg file is owned by the "oracle" user and "dba" group. Only the Oracle user has privileges to Read or Write to the file.
    In this example, both the owner and the group have read write priv's to the file.
    -rw-rw----    1 oracle   dba           22286 Aug 21 07:43 formsweb.cfgMore than likely, you will need your UNIX administrator to modify the file for you.
    Hope this helps.

  • CS5.5 Mac crashes every time I change Window Size in Design View

    I'm using DW CS5.5 (version 11.5 build 5344) in Lion 10.7.3.  I added in a couple of window sizes (in Preferences) that correspond to iPhone and Android phones - 320x480, 480x320, 480x800, 640x960.  The 640x960 one works, as does a 592w one that came with Dreamweaver.  Any of the other ones, though, cause the app to hang in this one particular file I'm editing.  However, in the simple jQuery Mobile starter page DW creates, these resolutions work fine.  This appears to be related to some CSS code that I have inside of a CSS media selector:
    @media screen and (max-width:480px)
    There is also a corresponding
    @media screen and (min-width:481px)
    in the CSS.
    To test this, I created a window size of 481x320, and that seemed to work completely fine without crashing DW. The 480x320 one crashes DW.  I assume that's because it's using the different CSS section.
    Pasted below is the CSS code that goes along with the section that seems to cause the crashing:
    @media screen and (max-width:480px) {
      .column {
        margin: 1em 0;
        border-bottom: 1px dashed #7b96bc;
      #visit, #points, #main {
        width: 100%;
        .taplist li {
        width:50%;
      #map {
        display:none;
      .header {
        display:none;
    To further test this out, I commented out all of the code within that block.  The window sizes did not cause it to crash then.  I then started to add back in pieces of code to see when it began to crash.  The crashing seemed limited to the bottom two (#map and .header), although it wasn't consistent.  In some situations the window sizes would work and in others they would crash.  I didn't test every combo just because it took a lot of time.  With both of those in place, though, every one of the 480 or less sizes crashed.
    Notable, the #map section is commented out in the HTML, however including that in the CSS still causes intermittent crashing.
    I also deleted my cache file to see if that was it, and no luck.

    Thanks very much Chris for pointing me in the right direction.  I downloaded FontDoctor, and it found one questionable font which I deleted.  However CS5 continues to crash when selecting the Design Workspace. So I followed the steps outlined in the Adobe document you linked.  When I got to the point of downloading the FontTest.jsx file and ran it, CS5 crashed right away without writing any log file.  I turned on app.displayDialogs = DialogModes.YES, and CS5 is crashing with a TypeError: undefined is not an object. So I don't know if this is related to my original problem, or not.  Any thoughts on how to proceed to get the FontTest script to run properly?  I took all of the normal defaults when I installed CS5 (e.g., didn't select any alternate paths, don't have any add-ons installed, etc.).
