Window to Continue Free XI Trial Pops Up Every Hour!

I downloaded the AdobePro XI free trial, due to *numerous* problems with the latest CreatePDF upgrade.  Now I am getting a screen that pops up constantly asking if I want to continue the trial or purchase.  How can I make this stop?  So far, it's popped up 4 times today, and it's only 11:30 a.m.!
I have to say that I am extremely disappointed with the numerous issus that occurred with CreatePDF.  I work for a small non-profit organization that has a major conference coming up next week, and I've had to waste several hours of time this week trying to find workarounds to the CreatePDF issues, including:
Ctrl-click functionality no longer working for combining files
Desktop printer disabled
Publisher files cannot be converted
I really hope that Adobe is taking a close look at what went wrong with this "upgrade" and putting steps in place to ensure that this doesn't happen again.

This is certainly odd.  I haven't heard any other reports of this behavior.  Are you completely closing Acrobat and relaunching?  That would explain this, but if the prompt is simply coming up after a period of time, that's quite bizarre.

    For the last month or so, my iSync has been acting up. Every hour, it self-starts and pops up with a window that says "No device activated..." I use isync with mobile me, but that's all.   • Lightroom Trial pop up every time I launch, but I have an active subscription.

    It's highly annoying, as I have to click on "license this software" and it takes me onto the next step which is "sign in required", yet I'm constantly signed in so I don't understand why it still asks me to sign in constantly. How can I get rid of this? It's so annoying that I'll cancel my subscription and use another product from another company.

  • Same error message keeps popping up every hour or two, and I can't get rid of it, also appears whenever I manually refresh the page.

    I'm running a script for a game through grease monkey, and I require the script to run 24/7 without me needing to be there 24/7 to press "continue" when this error message comes up "To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier." I've looked though all the options and can't find any way to prevent this from happening. I've uninstalled and reinstalled grease monkey, the script, and firefox itself, and nothing makes it go away. I have friends using the exact same scripts with the same version of firefox and they never get the error message. Is there something I can do to get rid of this inconvenience, as it literally does not help at all, I see no purpose in even displaying the message, obviously if I didn't want my browser to refresh automatically, I wouldn't be using the script.

    I think I've got it fixed....I "reset" my mail program, I deleted my mailbox then re-created it and I'm all set for now.

    what actually happened is that after i tried to install the latest software(i installed 2 softwares already if im not mistaken it was version 4 something and 5,i haven't got problems with that and my software is always updated. when the new software update arrive i tried to install it like i always do however, i just encountered this problem which resulted my phone into recovery mode)
    it was still the same after few weeks of retrying, turn-off...all i can see on my phone is the itunes icon/logo.. then earlier i tried to restore my previous iphone software again via itunes, then it turned on (the itunes icon is gone now), there were simple instruction like what language to use, country from, and wifi connection thus resulting into this "sorry we're unable to continue your activation" thing.

I don't believe I launched this app. The screen is telling me that I either should subscribe to City ID for a monthly fee, or I can "continue free trial". Well i don't want to do either, but I don't have another option. I clicked the continue free trial, then tried to uninstall the CityID app but it does not seem that there is a way to uninstall this app. I'm not seeing any service that CityID is providing me that I want to use so I don't want to pay, and I also don't want to "continue the free trial" for something I'm not using. VZWSupport on Twitter told me that I can not install this app, but that doesn't seem to make any sense to me since this app is trying to charge me money. A quick google search told me that I can easily remove the app, but the steps I found involve rooting the phone which I would rather avoid doing. How can I remove the app "CityID" without rooting the phone?

    Once the trial is done, then it will ask you if you want the subscription. Just say no, and it doesn't bother you again. At least CityID has not bothered me when the trial was done, and I told it no.
    CityID is one of the apps that were preloaded.... and cannot delete... just like blockbuster app and a couple of others.

    If you are having issues with your iPhone continuing to ask you to accept terms and conditions, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
    First, quit all running applications and test again -
    Force an app to close in iOS
    Next, I would try restarting and if needed resetting the iPhone -
    Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
    If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -
    How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups

    I tried both "Windows Server 2012 Essentials" and "Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials".  Here is the link to the page I downloaded the images:

    I tried burning these images to DVD and booting my Intel NUC with resulting disc.  Setup goes fine but it asks me for a product key.  I have not received any mail nor was there any pointers to a product key.  This is why I tried both R1 and R2.
    I found a similar post here regarding this issue (in fact I found a couple):

    But the answers were unsatisfactory, so please do not give me the same response.
    Just in case the question/directive comes up, I redownloaded and re-burned the images using sector verification.  There are no checksums posted on the site so who knows if something got broken while downloading it, but I find it extremely unlikely that
    a few bad sector would cause the intaller to forget its evaluation key rather than borking the whole installer.
    Further note that I tried "Windows Server 2012 R2" (standard / non-essentials) and that image correctly had the trial versions baked in.  So, I would bet dollars to donuts the problem lies in the images not in a download / burn failure.
    I want to use the new NUC as a central content/backup server for all the home computers which are unfortunately growing at bunny reproduction rates.  Since Windows Home Server was discontinued, I was pointed to Server 2012 R2 as the alternative / upsell. 
    Let me know if this is the case or if a better-fit product exists.
    Also, is the "Essentials" install a simply a licensing matter (e.g., 25 user cap) or is it more fundamentally crippled than the standard version?  I am only a home enthusiast and so not really interested in using the product in a production environment. 
    I only want some ensurance that if I download "standard", I can put in an "essentials" key at the end of evaluation.  If not, then please point me to a correct "Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials" trial image.

    I accepted the free world trial for 30 days
    I called my friend in the Phillipines
    we spoke for 18 Mins, then we were disconnected
    I noticed my available funds have been depleted leaving me with a balance of 2 cents.

    I've recently signed to a FREE broadband trial over the phone. Although I was very careful the follow-up e-mail came with the 18 months line rental contract I haven't signed for. Are these trials genuine? Anyway, my e-mail (sent within 24 hours)asking to cancel the service (cooling-off period) received the following replay:
    "IMPORTANT -Please note that it is important that any reference in communications from BT indicating charges or contract terms should be disregarded. The Fibre to the Home Broadband trial is free of charge and with no contract tie in. We apologise for any confusion and inconvenience."
    Well, how come my current bill is 19.90? and, more importantly - do I or don't I have a contract with BT?
    If yes, then how come? and how can I / can't I change this?
    My disappointment is great.

    This sounds correct. The price seems wrong as its somewhere in the region of £26 with a bill credit for the same amount. You will find you bill becomes very messy with charges and credits.
    You will get free installation, broadband but not phoneline so this could be the charge and any contract will be for the phone. However the FTTH Broadband only trial has ended and as long as you order was before 11 November the you will be fine. BT will be charging for the service after 31 Dec.
    There is no 'contract' on the trial but read the conditions carefully!
    For some users the trials are continuing due to certain other issues and services you will know if that applies to you.

    Hi all.
    I need some help. I have recently installed a new Hard Drive in my Macbook and have re-installed Snow Leopard. Since doing so there have been a few things that haven't been quite the same.
    1) Certain buttons decided they didnt want to work anymore. These being the Space Bar, the Tab key, all four arrow keys, Caps lock, Volume up, Eject, and a few others.
    After putting up with this for a couple of weeks and looking at numerous forums, they all of a sudden came back to life (Hence why I'm actually able to type this message) THEN, they packed up again. Then started again, then packed again, and so on. They seem to have a mind of their own.
    Please... does anyone know whats going on? Is it a hardware prob? Is it something to do with the way Ive installed the Hard Drive? Have I forgotten to do something?
    2) Ever since my buttons initially came back to life, the "Do you want to restart you computer?" window keeps popping up every couple of minutes.
    It's the window that says "Restart, Sleep, Cancel, Shut Down"
    It's driving me insane and I can't help but think that the two probs are related.
    If anyone out there has any ideas at all, they would be most welcome.

    The boxed packaging is not sold by Adobe direct. If you want to explore that type of purchase which offers the perk of a Windows and a Mac installation disc, you need to purchase from an authorized reseller who is not going to offer you "upgraded pricing". The seller would be its own entity with its own pricing and own return/refund policy. Sometimes the authorized reseller price may be less than the Adobe"upgraded pricing".
    Did you purchase your Premiere Elements 13 Mac from Adobe direct and are within 30 days of purchase? If so, you can contact Adobe Chat Orders to ask for return/refund. And, then you can explore the authorized resellers for pricing and availability of the box packaging. Maybe check out the pricing all around before making any final decisions.
