Windows 10 Lenovo Settings not detecting battery in Edge 15

Upgraded to Windows 10 on July 30th. No problems. My battery was showing up in conservation mode at 60% and not charging (I always use laptop plugged in). This was the setting in Windows 8.1 and still in Windows 10. All okay until tonight.
Tonight my battery is showing 100% charged and it's no longer in conservation mode. I opened the new Lenovo Settings for Windows 10 and clicked on Power. It is showing “No Battery Installed.” I unplugged the laptop and it is running just fine on the battery. I want to put it back in conservation mode but I cannot because Windows 10 Lenovo Settings isn’t detecting the battery even though it is working fine. Welcome to Sony Community!
Have you watched those local Canadian TV online before upgrading the operating system? This is probably one of the issues of Windows 10 but I cannot confirm that yet since Sony is still testing Vaio computer and updating the drivers and software for Windows 10.
You may try to use a different computer and check if you'll get the same result. If the same then probably the issue is with the website itself.
You may also run Vaio update and Windows update then try to change again the region.

Lenovo M90Z Not Detect WIFI Adapter

Dear Forum
I have problem with my Lenovo Thinkcentre M90Z.
Recently, the Wifi Card was not detect any wifi signal available in the near site.
I trying to uninstall the driver to solve the problem.
But unfortunatelly, after unisntall the Wifi adapter dissapear from the network adapter list.
I have try re-isntall the driver but no result.
Also try to re-attach the WIFI card to the slot, but it still not recognized by the OS.
Any solution for this problem?

Have you tried Safe mode with Networking? Check if the adapter is being detected in Safe mode. You can reboot in Safe Mode by pressing the 'F8' key repeatedly as soon as you turn on the computer. If you're using Windows 8, refer to this link for how to start your system in Safe Mode:

If the adaptor is being detected in Safe Mode, try updating the drivers and uninstalling any new hardware or software that you might have installed recently. If it still doesn't work, try doing a system restore back to the point when the adaptor was detected.
If the adaptor is still not getting detected even in Safe Mode, it's probably a faulty adaptor, or it might not be connected properly on the mother board. You might have to open the system to check the connections. Keep in mind that opening the system up might void your warranty if the system is still in warranty.

LENOVO K3 NOTE ISSUE-BATTERY DRAINING FAST AND USB PROBLEM!!!!!!!!

i have a problem in my K3 note, bought recently through flipkart..the phone was working fine but suddenly, now USB is not detected...whenever, i attach to the AC charger or charge with USB connected to laptop, it is neither getting charged nor USB is detected... But if i switch off the phone, now the phone gets charged... i have not been able to identify what the bug is about? i have factory resetted and also the battery was removed several times..however, the same problem is occuring.... i am not sure if you guys know we have a feature called "background app management", it can restrict background tasks to block them consuming current drain. The heat could be generated by drain consumption.
the feature is at Settings->Power manager->Background app management.

Windows 10 upgrade does not detect external hdmi monitor

Hi I have just upgraded my laptop yoga 2 11 to windows 10.I use an external hdmi monitor at the office desk with the previous windows 8.1 and no problems, but once I upgraded two hours ago to windows 10I my external monitor is not detected by windows10. what should i do?? Best regards, Martin

I have ENVY 15 K101TX; and I'm facing the same problem after upgrading to WIN10.Whenever I try to shut down the Laptop, it just doesn't shutdown completely. The screen goes blank but the power light and fan stays on. I have to press & hold to shut down the laptop. And we all know it's not a solution.And it also doesn't come back after sleep mode. I have to force shut down and start it again.I have checked all the power options and have tried all the things possible.Any one?

My new MacBook Air shut down +does not detect battery + won't charge

My MacBook Air is only a few months old and at random it shut down and when I restarted it the computer did not recognise a batter. I tried to charge the MacBook but the light on the charger did not turn on at all and the charger was not recognized at all. The MacBook does not detect any wifi's at all aswell

You have to take the computer to the Apple store to have it checked out.
Try resetting SMC before that.

My windows 7 computer will not detect my ipod since updating both itunes and windows. I've tried downloading them again and testing the ipod on a different computer which does detect it.

I'm having trouble loading my iPod onto my computer and iTunes. I reinstalled and reset several times, but it still didn't work. When I installed my iTunes with the CD, it didn't detect my iPod. When I plugged in my iPod, the wizard window popped up, and I tried to install it that way. Then while it's installing, a "Hardwar Installation" window comes up. Hi, I'm having a similar problem, except I didn't get a "Windows Logo Test" thing. Anyway, if it asks you that again, just say yes. The iPod should do no harm to your computer, seeing how you've connected it before. Some people think the problem w/ this is that a windows update blocks the iPod from working.

Windows nor iTunes does not detect my iphone when I plug it in

Please help, when I first got my iphone 4, itunes and my computer can detect it. Then one day, it didn't detect it anymore. I have tried everything this website has to offer. I even called Apple tech support, and their final solution to my problem was to upgrade to Windows 7. That is BS. It use to work, but I don't know why it is not working now. I have tried all the 5 R's( reinstall, restore, ...etc), but still nothing.
Here is a list of things I have done already:
1) Reinstalled iTunes and all apple mobile software according to Apple tech support
2) was on the phone with apple tech support for close to 2 hours, when finally, they recommended I upgrade to windows 7
3) tried all USB ports in my computer with no change
4) prayed to God for guidance and strength

Hi. Just go a bit further by process of elimination which you've already started. Here's a couple more things you can try.
1. Different USB cable?
2. Try plugging into another computer just to see if your iPhone will get recognised then.
If it still deosn't work then I can only assume that the handset itself has developed some kind of fault, in which case, just book a 'Genius' appointment at your local Apple store asap and get it replaced.

Windows 7 or itunes not detecting my ipod.

My ipod (5th gen) was fine working on windows vista 32bit, but i recently bought a brand new computer, operating system windows 7 premium 64bit. Tried most things, resetting ipod or using disk mode has no effect either.
Plugging my ipod in never got detected, not even as a storage device. So after installing the latest itunes software (itunes for windows 64bit) it still would not be detected by both windows in my computer and itunes.
in device manager though under disk drives it shows "apple ipod usb device".
under storage volumes it shows "unknown device"
and under USB controllers it shows "Apple mobile device USB driver"
I searched the internet before coming here, all i could find was uninstall every single bit of apple software, unplug the ipod then reinstall itunes etc, i tried all this but had bo success.
Obviously the ipod is fine as it works in my old pc and charges in this new one.

Lenovo R61i Not detecting wireless!!!

Bought my gf a new computer for Christmas and pulled out her old Lenovo yesterday to see about using it for myself. It was ungodly slow and loaded down with music so I did a factory reset on it and when it was done I couldn't pick up ANY wireless connections...I am lost...please help...

Notice that you have an Intel wireless card. Unless your wifi card has been switched, your wireless LAN (wifi) adapter should be Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG, as confirmed by System service parts - ThinkPad R61, R61i, and T61 (14.1-inch widescreen). If you suspect the wifi card has been switched, is not connected properly, damaged or was removed, it just takes 2 minutes to check by removing the keyboard as shown in the Lenovo training movie here:

The correct wireless driver can be found by entering your 7-digit type/model number in the Lenovo Drivers and Software download page. This will provide you with a list of machine-specific drivers. Choose "Intel Wireless LAN (abgn, abg, bg) for Windows XP - ThinkPad" (filename "6mwc24ww.exe") in the "Networking: Wireless LAN" section. Direct link here.
After downloading and running the file, it should extract to the following (default) directory: C:\DRIVERS\WIN\WLANINT. Choose to "Install Intel wireless LAN now" and reboot. That's it, you're done.
Otherwise, to complete the installation process later, navigate to the appropriate folder where the files were extracted. (In this case, Click "Computer"---> drive C---> DRIVERS ---> WIN---> WLANINT and then double-click "AUTORUN.EXE").

Windows 8.1 is not detecting blank/recorded cds

I tried serveral ways to fix this problem but the CD/DVD rom still did not recocognize my recorded cds. movie DVD and antivirus software installation DVD work perfectly. I read some topics online and they said that windows 8 and 8.1 won't allow laptop reading/playing unlicensed CDs and DVDs, am I correct? If it is so, how can I play my recorded cd on laptop? Thanks!

Trying to print from my i pod to airport utility with a printer attached, it doesn't recognize a printer saying airprint settings not detected

I'm trying to print from I pod but it say no airprint service is available. I have a kodak 5250 hooked up to my airport extreme utility. Help

Unfortunately, the Kodak 5250 is not an AirPrint compatible printer.
Try installing an App like Print Central on the iPod to see if that might allow printing.

In the simulation figure attached, we can see clearly that when current state = WAIT_AWREADY ,   axi_wready = 1. Hence FSM should move to next state in next cycle. But simulation is showing that FSM was in WAIT_AWREADY state for 2 cycles. Can anyone tell me why is this behaviour in simulation?

please note that FSM is written for changing wr_next_state. (as it should be).
And "wr_current_state" value changes only a clock cycle after the "wr_next_state" value changes.
If my guess is correct,In the simulation window, the "statename[127:0]" must have been mapped to "wr_current_state" and hence the two cycle delay. (as expected)
If your intention is to monitor FSM transitions accurately, you should looking at "wr_next_state" in the simulation.

Lenovo G710 Battery not detected in Windows 8.1 64 bit

Hi there,
I have the Lenovo G710. I haven't used the battery for a while now and I use the laptop by connecting the powerlead directly to mains power outlet. I decided today to plug the battery in. The battery indicator lights up.
Windows 8.1 does not detect the battery and it states "No Battery Detected".
What i have tried:
I have installed all the latest Windows Updates and it still doesnt detect the battery.
I even installed the latest chipset drivers for this laptop and it still doesnt detect it. The only update i cannot install is the BIOS update because it states that "Battery Not Detected".
I uninstalled the following from Device Manager: Microsoft ACPI compliant Control Method Battery. Switched off the laptopRemoved the battery packRemoved the AC power lead from the laptopHeld the power button for 30 seconds to drain the batteryReconnect the battery packReconnect the AC power leadTurn the laptop on.Battery not detected.
Can anyone assist what i could do next please?

I recently replaced windows 7(64-bit) hp pc with windows 8.1 (64-bit) hp pc . Hp laserjet 1320 printer was working fine with Windows 7 but windows 8.1 is not detecting hp printer . Neither detecting in device manager nor in found new hardware wizard. As
i attach / removed USB Printer from pc a voice (dumm) comes from speaker but not show in device manager. Pls help..............
