Windows 2012 R2 - Intermittent RDP Printing

Hello!
I have built a Windows 2012 R2 server with Remote Desktop Services running on it.  Remote users are having trouble with inconsistent printing through their RDP clients.  Their printers show up as redirected printers and do print sometimes,
but other times nothing prints - the user click print, select their printer, and nothing shows up.  Later it will just start working for them again.  The problem seems to be universal - it is happening on clients with different versions of Windows,
different printer models, and different printer manufacturers.  Has anyone seen this?  Are there any hotfixes for this that I can install?  I have all of the latest Windows Updates installed.
Thanks... Dave

This problem is a bug in Virtual Channel. I have clients suffering with this bug with all my programs using Virtual Channel.
Usually all communications between server and client side under a remote session (RDP or ICA of Citrix) use Virtual Channel. This was developed by Citrix than was resold to Microsoft. Up to Windows 2008R2 there were no change at all and everything works
smoothly. But since Windows 2012, someone in MSDN team has changed the implementation of this protocol then everything that uses Virtual Channel as communication transport layer becomes unstable, sometimes it works, sometimes not.
Please read here:
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsserver/en-US/7ce64172-fa7a-4a70-8635-4b83a0d88a79/wtsvirtualchannelopen-fails-on-windows-server-2012-identical-code-works-fine-on-windows-server-2008?forum=winserverTS

In the first thread, there are questions asked, and someone has given some information from Microsoft MSDN team but they want people pay for more support about that bug.
I have lost almost 2 weeks to deal with this problem to make a workaround for my client to get a stable working version of my Remote Executer program. What I have found is Virtual Channel functions now become very unstable: ex: with WTSVirtualChannelOpen,
sometimes it fails at the first call in the session, not only from a repeating call as the information given from MSDN engineer. Sometimes  WTSVirtualChannelWrite fails, return 0, but the GetLastError returns error message "The function completed
successfully". It's very weird.
I have found the workaround method is when a error occurs during the communication, I have to close the Virtual Channel, and retry to open it (WTSVirtualChannelOpen) several times until it successes and retry the send (WTSVirtualChannelWrite)  or if
the Virtual Channel could not be reopened I have to unload the whole module and retry the open and send process again. When it starts working,  it seems stable, but the error can happen at any time.
Hope that workaround may help some people until Microsoft recogizes this is a bug in their new Virtual Channel implemetation and provides some useful informations.
My other program Remote File Transfer got problem from this bug too. Inside the program, data were tranferred in binary format buffers from server to client, in some packages there are some strange bytes inserted in the package, the result is the file was
corrupted on the client side.
If you Google "WTSVirtualChannelOpen Windows 2012 problem" you will find similar problem. I believe there will be more and more people having problem with this bug, because a lot of stuffs use Virtual Channel for the communication between 2 sides,
like printing, device redirection, etc.
All my virtual channel programs was working since Citrix Metaframe XP 1.0 + Windows 2000, then 2003 till Windows 2008R2 without any problem, that can confirm that the Virtual Channel communication in Windows 2012/R2 has problem because I have followed
the instruction from that thread but the problem is very unpredictable.
Hope that someone can forward these information to MSDN team, and they can give us a fix soon or at least give us some useful information to deal with this problem.

    Hi Roberto,
Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
This error might be caused by one of the following conditions:
    -  The printer is not reachable on the network
    -  Windows cannot allocate sufficient memory
    -  There was invalid or incomplete data received by the print spooler
    -  A driver upgrade failed
    -  There is a bad printer device driver

  • Printers in RDP Windows 2012 and Ubuntu Linux

Computer 1. Windows Server 2012 Std with RDP Terminal Server
Computer 2. Ubuntu Linux 13.04 with RDP client Remmina and HP LaserJet 1020 Printer
Computers isn't located in one local network. When I connected to the Windows by RDP - I couldnt see any printers (e.g. HP LJ 1020). What should I do to make visible my printers when I connect thru Remmina to Windows 2012 Server? May be add some components
or roles? By the way, when I use Windows 7 to connect to Server 2012, I could see my printer like Remote Desktop Easy Print.

(SOLVED) Problem with printer redirection between Ubuntu Linux 12.04 and Windows 2012R2
    Server - Windows 2012R2
    Clients - Linux Ubuntu 12.04/14.04
RDP client - Remmina Remote Desktop Client (Stable release: 1.0.0).
It turned out that for some strange logic in the connection settings to the server in the RDP client - Remmina must specify sound "local".
Then Printer redirection works and print remotely without problems.

  • Slow printing on windows 2008 std, R2 and windows 2012

    Hi All,
I have a print server which is configured on windows 2008 R2. We are experiencing slow printing when printing directly from the server or from a client through the server. Small sized files prints fast, anything which has image takes a long time. All the
printers in our organization are Xerox Colorqube 9303. When installed the driver directly on to windows 7 32 bit PC, it prints without any delay. Also, when prints from the server a 2 MB file becomes 15 MB or more while sending. We have tried PCL6 and PS drivers.
To replicate it, i have installed a windows 2012 server ended up with the same result. Installed windows 2008 standard 32 bit with SP2 and the result remains same. Also tried it on windows 8, 64 bit without any luck. So effectively, it works fine only when
directly installed on a windows 7 PC. I have disabled all three: disabling TCP Chimney Offload, RSS, Receive Window Auto-Tuning .
After shooting the print, if you observe the printer properties, it sends data at a very low rate which results a 10 MB documents prints take around 10 minutes. At the same time, file copying from the server to and fro is working normally. All these servers
are directly connected to the cisco 6509 core switch. All the above tests were performed on the same physical switch. The server and clients are on the same network (subnet).
Have anybody come across to a similar issue. Any useful suggestions would deeply appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Prince Mathew

    Hi Prince Mathew,
Based on your description, this issue seems that it’s related to this specific model printer (Xerox
colorqube 9303). Please install the latest version of the driver and the firmware from Xerox website, and then check if this issue still exists.
If it still persists, please clear Printer Spooler Files and enable the Spooler Service again.
    For details, please refer to.
    1. Click Start, run "Services.msc" (without the quotation marks).
    2. In Services list, please double click "Printer Spooler". Then click
    Stop, and then click OK.
    3. Please locate to: "%WINDIR%\system32\spool\printers", delete all files in this folder.
    4. Click Start, run "Services.msc" (without the quotation marks). In Services list, double click
"Printer Spooler". Click on Start. In the Startup Type list, make sure that "Automatic" is selected and click OK.
Then check if this issue can be solved.
    Hope this helps.

  • Non existing local user managed to RDP to windows 2012 target machine

    Hi,
It seems the exact same issue as I see it here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/91f09a4b-350f-47f8-814b-53b29d1a6306/windows-2012-rdp-login-credentials-are-not-used-on-remoteapp-connect-dialog-box?forum=winserverTS
    But I couldn't see any real/final answer.
Can I get official response from MS about this issue?
When we use the RDWeb, we use a non existing user to connect to some target 2012 machine and it actually works... it connects me to the target.
    How cab I eliminate it?
    Tx,
    shlom

    Hi,
Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
For the user which you don’t want to provide the access of Remote Desktop to target machine, you can apply GPO setting for that user. Need to apply “Deny logon through Remote Desktop Service” GPO policy and add that user under that policy. You can
find the policy under below mention path.

    Hope it helps!

  • Windows 2012 RDP "resets" user settings while using Roaming Profiles

Last month we installed a RDP environment running a Windows 2012 DC and 2 Windows 2012 RDP servers. The RDP servers are running in a pool.
For the rest it's nothing fancy.
The problem is that user-settings are reset, most likely during logon. This only occurs when we use Roaming Profiles.
    - We create a new user, in a container with no GPO's attached.
    - This user gets a RP while logging on, no errors, at logoff the RP is written to it's correct folder.
    - Logging on again. Now for example I make Chrome standard browser and change the program which opens JPG files.
    - Logging off
    - I check the NTUSER.DAT in the RP folder and the changes I made can be found in the file. So it has been saved to the NTUSER.DAT.
    - Now I login again and check the settings I made. IE is standard browser again and the JPG setting is also back to standard.
    - Logging off
    - Checking the NTUSER.DAT in the RP folder and yes, everything is back to default.
Now the funny part is, when I create a user with a local profile, everything is working properly. Settings been saved.
It doesn't make a different what kind of user it is. Domain User, Domain Admin. They all have the same problems when using RP's.
No error messages in the Event Viewer.
I'm clearly unable to solve this problem. Hoping someone can help me on this one.
What makes the settings reset at logon while using Roaming Profiles?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
Have you enable Cache copies option of roaming profiles?
This issue might occurs because the User Profile service does not load the terminal server roaming profile correctly after the user account password is reset.
When the Delete cache copies of roaming profiles Group Policy setting is enabled, and when a user is prompted to change the user account password, the User Profile service loads a local temporary user profile. The User Profile service loads this user profile
to perform the password reset operation. However, the profile changes to a combination of the local temporary profile and of the roaming profile after the user password is reset. Therefore, the terminal server roaming profile is not loaded correctly.
In addition, please try to delete the SID of the user from registry key and check the result. You can follow the below path.
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
    More information:
You receive a "The User Profile Service failed the logon” error message

Also check “User Profiles on Windows Server 2008 R2 Remote Desktop Services” article.

  • Adobe is not printing - Terminal Server Windows 2012

Hello and thank you for reading this.
We recently upgrade our server infrastructure  to Windows 2012 R2. When a user logging to a server (Terminal Server 1 let's say) sometimes they cannot print from Adobe. If they can login to another Server, let's say Terminal Server 2 they are just fine.
The issue is the following:   They click on Print >  Select Printer >  Hit "Print"  and nothing happens.   When Adobe Reader is working, after clicking on "Print" you clearly see a progress bar until it reaches 100 %.
Troubleshooting:  We have updated the drivers to the latest versions , re-install Adobe Reader but nothing seems to help.  This is very annoying as the user needs to login to a different server in order to print from Adobe disconnecting the whole session.
Also, a different user with same permissions can login to the server having issues and print fine from Adobe.
If you can guide us in the right direction to finally resolve this it would be greatly appreciated.
Additional Notes: All printers are in a printer server environment.  Users are able to print everything else except PDF Files using Adobe Reader.  When installing another PDF Reader software they are able to print fine.
    Thank you

    Hi,
Are you still facing this issue. What is the current version of Reader installed.
Provide me more information about, how are user profiles are setup.
    Regards,
    Ajlan Huda.

  • Print driver crashing Windows 2012

When we use a specific driver from Konica c454e version 3.1.1.1 on Windows 2012 and try to open the driver menu for the printer in the printers list the driver crahses.  Other dirvers are working fine and we are able to even print to this driver.
How can I troubleshoot this issue?
Event 7031 – Print Spooler Crash
    Event 1000 – Application Error
mmc.exe crashes, Faulting Module Name: KOFYTJ1B.DLL, version: 2.2.0.1
    at the same time…
    Event 1000 – Application Error
Spoolsv.exe crashes, same module and version as above

You should at least enable the print driver isolation feature on the driver so the spooler service does not crash which will impact others access to the service.

  • Windows server 2012 R2 Slow RDP

    Hi
I have server 2012 R2 Datacenter installed on HP Proliant 380 G8. All drivers and firmwares are updated and confirmed by HP. The machine is quite powerful with hundreds of gigs of RAM.
When I RDP into the machine, The screen hangs on "welcome" screen for a good 10 seconds. Same hardware with server 2012 Datacenter is much faster. It is also fast with 2008 R2.
I deployed 4 servers so far and all have the same issue.
Has any one experienced this slowness before?
    I appreciate any help.
    Thanks

    Hi Atif,
Thank you for your posting in Windows Server Forum.
First of all please try to provide TP’s answer. In addition, what’s the version of client OS and RDC? If you are using Windows 7 then use RDP 8.1 for better performance. Apart from this, try to DisableTaskOffload in the IP-parameters. For more information,
    kindly go through beneath article.
    Performance Tuning Windows 2012: Network Subsystem–Part 1
Also try to configure below setting, might helpful for your case.
    On the server:
Computer Config > Windows Settings > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Session Host > Connections > Select RDP transport protocol = Use only TCP
    On the client:
Computer Config > Windows Settings > Admin Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Connection Client > Turn off UDP on Client = Enabled
    Hope it helps!

  • V4 Print Drivers suddenly stopped working on Windows 8.1 machine on a Windows 2012 r2 Domain

Today one of our newly setup windows 8.1 machines stop printing to a Toshiba copier that was setup on a domain controller with the printers role installed.  The Toshiba copier was setup using Microsoft default Toshiba PLC6 V4 printer driver.
The computer in question was printing to the copier minutes before the user shutdown to go to lunch.  When the user returned, printing to the Toshiba copier was not working.  However others in the office where printing to the Toshiba copier
just fine.  I decide to try and print to other printers and found that the Microsoft XPS printer was not working also.  I also found that all the other printers that where not using V4 printer drives printed just fine.  The Toshiba copier and
Microsoft XPS printer both use V4 printer drivers.  I tried removing the Toshiba copier, but when re-adding the Toshiba copier a error message was given stating that the V4 driver could not be found.  This same process was tested
on a known working computer and the printer was removed and added just find.  Next I logged onto the system as the administrator and found that the XPS printer was also not working under the admin account.  So I did not think this was a user
only related issue and was a system wide issue.  So far my only idea is that something is missed up with the V4 driver system, but I have no idea where to start to go about fixing it.  Any ideas will be helpfully.
    Thanks,

    Hi Harley,
If you can still reproduce this issue, can you please open a case with Microsoft Support? This isn't a behavior we're aware of, so it'd be great to figure out what's going on.
    Thanks!

  • How do I show remote printers in Windows 2012 RDWEB?

    Hi everyone,
I have setup an Windows 2012 RDS host and am able to access it externally by using https://remote.domain.com/rdweb.
Therefore I can log in and launch remote apps.
Local printers get redirected, but I do not seem to be able to see the remote printers on the RDS server.
The printer is installed and it is installed on the server.
What if I want to print on the server printer rather than my own printer?
How to get to show the printers in the RDWEB page?
I do not get control panel, select device and printers here.
Can someone enlighten me on this?
    Thanks very much.
    Regards
    Ipnotech

    Hi,
    Any takers for this question?
When I use internet explorer to access the Windows 2012 r2 RDS server by typing https://remote.domain.com/rdweb, I get to logon and can see all my published apps and launch them.
But when I print from a remote app I can only see my own redirected printers I cannot see the network printer which is installed on the server.
I tried to change group policy under Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Windows Components/Remote Desktop Services/Remote Desktop Session Host/Printer Redirection and set:
Do not set default client printer to be default printer in a session ENABLED
Use Remote Desktop Easy Printer Driver first ENABLED
Redirect only the default client printer ENABLED
Then I run a gpupdate /force on the RDS host to apply the policy to the server.
When I connect remotely from a Windows 7 client using IE and lets say I launch the wordpad remote app I can only see my client printers not the server printers.
This seems to work if I RDP into the server with mstsc.exe but not using RDWEB.
    Does anyone know about this?
    Thanks and regards

  • Windows 2012 Nodes - Slow CSV Performance - Need help to resolve my iSCSI issue configuration

I spent weeks going over the forums and the net for any publications and advice on how to optimize iSCSI connections and i'm about to give up.  I really need some help in determining if its something i'm not configuring right or maybe its an equipment
    issue.
    Hardware:
2x Windows 2012 Hosts with 10 Nics (same NIC configuration) in a Failover Cluster sharing a CSV LUN.
    3x NICs Teamed for Host/Live Migration (192.168.0.x)
    2x NICS teamed for Hyper-V Switch 1 (192.168.0.x)
    1x NIC teamed for Hyper-V Switch 2 (192.168.10.x)
    4x NICs for iSCSI traffic (192.168.0.x, 192.168.10.x, 192.168.20.x 192.168.30.x)
Jumbo frames and flow control turned on all the NICs on the host.  IpV6 disabled.  Client for Microsoft Network, File/Printing Sharing Disabled on iSCSI NICs.
MPIO Least Queue selected.  Round Robin gives me an error message saying "The parameter is incorrect.  The round robin policy attempts to evenly distribute incoming requests to all processing paths. "
    Netgear ReadyNas 3200
    4x NICs for iSCSI traffic ((192.168.0.x, 192.168.10.x, 192.168.20.x 192.168.30.x)
    Network Hardware:
Cisco 2960S managed switch - Flow control on, Spanning Tree on, Jumbo Frames at 9k - this is for the .0 subnet
Netgear unmanaged switch - Flow control on, Jumbo Frames at 9k - this is for .10 subnet
Netgear unmanaged switch - Flow control on, Jumbo Frames at 9k - this is for .20 subnet
Netgear unmanaged switch - Flow control on, Jumbo Frames at 9k - this is for .30 subnet
Host Configuration (things I tried turning on and off):
    Autotuning
    RSS
    Chimney Offload
I have 8 VMs stored in the CSV.  When try to load all 8 up at the same time, they bog down.  Each VM loads very slowly and when they eventually come up, most of the important services did not start.  I have to load
them up 1 or 2 at a time.  Even then the performance is nothing like if they were loading up on the Host itself (VHD stored on the host's hdd).  This is what prompted me to add in more iSCSI connections to see if I can improve the VM's
performance.  Even with 4 iSCSI connections, I feel nothing has changed.  The VMs still start up slowly and services do not load right.  If I distribute the load with 4 VMs on Host 1 and 4 VMs on Host 2, the load up
    times do not change.
As a manual test for file copy speed, I moved the cluster resources to Host 1 and copied a VM from the CSV and onto the Host.   The speed would start out around 250megs/sec and then eventually drop down to about 50/60 megs/sec.  If I turn
off all iSCSI connections except one, it get the same speed.  I can verify from the Windows Performance Tab under Task Manager that all the NICS are distributing traffic evenly, but something is just limiting the flow.  Like what I stated on top,
I played around with autotuning, RSS and chimney offload and none of it makes a difference.
The VMs have been converted to VHDx and to fixed size.  That did not help.
Is there something I'm not doing right?   I am working with Netgear support and they are puzzled as well.  The ReadyNas device should easily be able to handle it.
Please help!  I pulled my hair out over this for the past two months and I'm about to give up and just ditch clustering all together and just run the VMs off the hosts themselves.
    George

    A few things...
For starters, I recommend opening a case with Microsoft support.  They will be able to dig in and help you...
Turn on the CSV Cache, it will boost your performance
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/clustering/archive/2012/03/22/10286676.aspx
A file copy has no resemblance of the unbuffered I/O a VM does... so don't use that as a comparison, as you are comparing apples to oranges.
Do you see any I/O performance difference between the coordinator node and the non-coordinator nodes?  Basically, see which node owns the cluster Physical Disk resource... measure the performance.  Then move the Physical Disk resource for the
CSV volume to another node, and repeat the same measure of performance... then compare them.
Your IP addressing seems odd...  you show multiple networks on 192.168.0.x and also on 192.168.10.x.   Remember that clustering only recognizes and uses 1 logical interface per IP subnet.  I would triple check all your IP schemes...
to ensure they are all different logical networks.
    Check you binding order
Make sure you NIC drivers and NIC firmware are updated
Make sure you don't have IPsec enabled, that will significantly impact your network performance
For the iSCSI Software Initiator, when you did your connection... make sure you didn't do a 'Quick Connect'... that will do a wildcard and connect over any network.  You want to specify your dedicated iSCSI network
No idea what the performance capabilities of the ReadyNas is...  this could all likely be associated with the shared storage.
What speed NIC's are you using?   I hope at least 10 GB...
    Hope that helps...
    Elden
    Hi Elden,
    2. CSV is turned on, I have 4GB dedicated from each host to it.  With IOmeter running within the VMs, I do see the read speed jumped up 4-5x fold but the write speed stays the same (which according to the doc it should).  But even with the read
speed that high, the VMs are not starting up quickly.
    4. I do not see any difference with IO with coordinator and non coordinator nodes.
    5.  I'm not 100% sure what your saying about my IPs.  Maybe if I list it out, you can help explain further.
    Host 1 - 192.168.0.241 (Host/LM IP), Undefined IP on the 192.168.0.x network (Hyper-V Port 1), Undefined IP on the 192.168.10.x network (Hyper- V port 2), 192.168.0.220 (iSCSI 1), 192.168.10.10 (iSCSI2), 192.168.20.10(iSCSI 3), 192.168.30.10 (iSCSI 4)
The Hyper-V ports are undefined because the VMs themselves have static ips.
0.220 host NIC connects with the .231 NIC of the NAS
10.10 host NIC connects with the 10.100 NIC of the NAS
20.10 host NIC connects with the 20.100 NIC of the NAS
30.10 host NIC connects with the 30.100 NIC of the NAS
    Host 2 - 192.168.0.245 (Host/LM IP), Undefined IP on the 192.168.0.x network (Hyper-V Port 1), Undefined IP on the 192.168.10.x network (Hyper- V port 2), 192.168.0.221 (iSCSI 1), 192.168.10.20 (iSCSI2), 192.168.20.20(iSCSI 3), 192.168.30.20 (iSCSI 4)
The Hyper-V ports are undefined because the VMs themselves have static ips.
0.221 host NIC connects with the .231 NIC of the NAS
10.20 host NIC connects with the 10.100 NIC of the NAS
20.20 host NIC connects with the 20.100 NIC of the NAS
30.20 host NIC connects with the 30.100 NIC of the NAS
    6. Binding orders are all correct.
    7. Nic drivers are all updated.  Didn't check the firmware.
    8. I do not know about IPSec...let me look into it.
    9. I did not do quick connect, each iscsi connection is defined using a specific source ip and specific target ip.
These are all 1gigabit nics, which is the reason why I have so many NICs...otherwise there would be no reason for me to have 4 iscsi connections.

  • Issues with Shell32.dll, NTDLL.DLL and Migration from Windows 2003 to Windows 2012

    Hello all,
I am new to ThinApp and working as a consultant to help a company migrate older Windows 2003 software to Windows 2012.  They have purchased ThinApp 5.0.4.5 so that is what we will be using.
We have created a clean 2003 VM and did a pre-scan
We loaded the application and configured it  and then did a capture.
We then tested the capture the 2003 VM and it works
We then loaded the capture on a Clean 2003 VM and it works
We then loaded onto a 2012 VM and when running the app from a command window get an error  -missing import shell32.dll:StrCpyNW
If we run the capture in Emulation Mode on 2012 VM, we do not get the Shell32.dll error but instead the cmd fails with a Fault Module Name  - NTDLL.DLL error
I am sure I am just missing the correct location to identify or configure the capture - but do not have the experience to know where yet.  (Taking training next week).
Until then, is there any suggestions which I can try?
Thanks for your time in advance,
    Vince

Tried and done that.  The main issue while configuring the printer from the printer Web Interface is that there is no access to the Digital Sending section due to a problem with the "Sun Java plug in"  I think the code mentions 1.31. or similar.
We downloaded the java plug in and installed it.  No progress.
We reset the printer to defaults and reconfigured it .. It sees the smtp gateway and access it but fails sending email with scanned documents..
We have tried in very different ways.  We connected the printer to another domain SBS server 2003 and it works beautifully.  So, I have no idea on what is the problem. We created a firewall exception for ports 390. 1783 from the SBS to the Printer
    and still no go..
We have tried four different accounts and nothing.  Same results as stated originally.
    Any other suggestions??

  • Lync 2010 Voice & Video Support on Windows 2012 R2 SP1 RDSH & RDVH

Hello - We have successfully demonstrated RDSH & RDVH using Windows 2012 R2, Windows 8 virtual desktops and Dell T10 Zero clients. RemoteFX has been successfully tested as well for Printing across RDSH & RDVH environments.
Problem at hand is that we are unable to showcase Lync 2010 Voice & Video calling across both these environments (RDSH & RDVH).
    RDSH Environment
In an RDSH environment, we observe that a Platronics headset connected to the Dell T10 thin client is able to get redirected to the RDSH Server using RemoteFX and in-turn the RDSH Server is able to detect the connected hardware. However, the Lync 2010 client,
published using RDSH, is UNABLE to detect the connected audio device.
As for Logitech Webcam connected to the Dell T10 thin client, we have no issues with device detection and the Lync 2010 client is able to see the connected Webcam device.
    RDVH Environment (Pooled Desktop)
As for the RDVH environment, we observe that both the Platronics headset & Logitec Webcam connected to the the Dell T10 thin client are UNABLE to get redirected to the RDVH Server using RemoteFX. We have enabled RemoteFX via Group policy in this environment.
    Queries:
    A. Could you help providing some direction into troubleshooting/isolating the audio-device detection issue on Lync clients in an RDSH environment.
    B. Could you help providing some direction into troubleshooting/isolating the audio & webcam re-direction issue in an RDVH environment. FYI, our test bed server does NOT support GPU and wanted to check if that would be a limitation towards detection
    of these devices?
    Thanks

    Hi Dharmesh,
    Thank you for a response.
We had already enabled Audio and Video playback option.
But when we have tested with windows 7 desktop machine, the audio devices are detecting in Lync client in both RDVH and RDSH
environment and we are able to make audio calls. So we are planning to test with the different thin clients. Post we will update the same.
    Thanks.
