Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium DSCP value 0x00

I am trying to mark my traffic with DSCP values both with some built in options in the programs and with the Windows 7 Group Policy QOS options.
I have looked around and found the two regedit items that need to be changed and have changed them. Additionally rebooted the machine. I also verified that the interface had the QOS section marked.
Outside of that nothing is maintaining a tag when it leaves the interface. On the far side all traffic that arrives at my router is 0x00.

Have you tried this step in the registry.
1. Go to HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\QoS. If "QoS" folder doesn't exist there - create it.
2. Add a DWORD parameter named "Do not use NLA" and assign "1" as its value.
3. Reboot.

I have been trying to install OBIEE Simple Installation on Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64 bit - Hangs on Create Domain Step.

Earlier i have face same issues.after 4 attempts its got resolved.make sure below points
static ip set it properly (windows/hots,etc files) make sure u r pc have full permission for installation user
1.Un-install WebLogic from your machine.
2.If the installer is on a network drive it's recommended to copy the generic installer to your local file system and to a folder with no spaces or strange characters.
3.Remove the system variables you've set: JAVA_HOME, JAVA_VENDOR, and remove the %JAVA_HOME%\bin from the path system variable.
4.Run the installer as follows:

6.Change directory to \JDK_64\bin folder and execute:

Can I upgrade Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64 bit to Windows 7 Professional 64 bit without losing my program information, my settings or my desktop? If yes, how to proceed?

Apologies about the delay. I've been brooding.
Although we don't know where the specific relevant keys are on modern versions of iTunes, there's a shotgun approach we can take to dealing with them, which has a reasonable chance of success in this case. The complicating factor in your case is that you've got a 64-bit Windows. So there's an extra hoop to jump through.
The basic approach is the procedure from the following weblog entry:

The complicating factor is that we have to make an additional edit to the reset.cmd file.
When you're in Notepad, replacing the two YOURUSERNAME values with the name of your Windows 7 user account, in the first line of the batch file, replace the:
%programfiles%
... with:
%ProgramFiles(x86)%
(On a 64-bit Windows system, subinacl is installed in a different location than on 32-bit systems. So unless we make that change, the reset.cmd isn't going to be able to find subinacl and the reset.cmd won't work.)
While you're in Notepad editing the file, make sure each of the nine lines of the file start of a new line. (Sometimes they get smooshed up together on a single line, and then again the reset.cmd won't work.)
I'd strongly suggest setting up a System Restore point immediately prior to running the reset.cmd. There's instructions on that in the following document:

Hi I have a HP Pavillion DV6-1355 dx windows 7 Home premium 64 bit and I have some major issues ,first when I bought this computer I turned it on it automatically connected and downloaded a whole bunch of stuff I am not even sure what all ,my P/N #VM222UA#ABA , S/N [Personal Information Removed] I dont even know what should and shouldnt be on here anymore . It has a sticker in keyboard area at bottom right corner and a windows 7 sticker says Intel Duo core and yet I get troubleshooters refering to Vista ,AMD ,and several other computers .In my device manager it has a bunch of stuff with little yellow gears .I feel it has down loaded my old computers which I dont have but 1 and my current ones which are all windows 7 64 bit . I was gong to scare my husband by starting his prinnter from mine wasnt even sure what I was doing but I do remeber it saying that I would have to be in control over the pcs I cant remember exactly and I also wanted to make sure updates were done because my husband never did them so I thought great they will get regular updates. At that time we had 3 windows xps 1 professional 64 bit,1 hp media center 2005 64 bit and a windows xp home edition 32 bit .I didnt know much about pcs then I sought help but never got it resolved we had a differnt router and i beleave sbc global at time when I did it that computer ended up dieing so I no longer have it but yet I see its hardware listed and I see the AMD listed and SIS and Matrix with dates going back to 2003 and this computer is a 2009 . I did not leave anything out from the error message. It doesn't point to a specific file, it just ends with "(x86)..." Every time I boot up my computer, this error message pops up on my desktop.
How do I repair this issue? I have found multiple suggested solutions but am unsure which one is the best, and I don't want to try a bunch of different things for fear I may make the problem worse. I would like to try and fix this myself if possible but I need to know if that is really possible or if I need to take my computer to someone for repairs. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!

Multiple failures after updates Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium

After loading the latest set of updates for my Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit operating system and rebooting, I am now experiencing a cascade of failures. None of my network (wireless or ethernet) adapter or miniport drivers
will load. my firewall will not load or has failed. I cannot logon to my Event Viewer to figure out what failed and my Microsoft NET is giving me errors when I try to access anything that might help me figure out what went wrong. So far I
have done a system restore back to before the update, but it did not fix the problems. I have tried to use Microsoft Fix it, but that must access the internet. I am sending this from a different computer because I cannot get online with the other.
Can anyone give me a clue where to start fixing these problems or do I have to completely reinstall my operating system?

Can I install and use XE on Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit?

I would like to install Oracle XE as a learning tool but have Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit which I see in the installation guide is not supported. I guess the answer therefore is to upgrade to Windows 7 Professional which the XE Installation Guide says is supported.
I have checked various forums and there seems to be some varying opinions on this. Before I go ahead and upgrade to Windows 7 Professional, can someone advise the best course of action please?

I have even downloaded it to a separate folder and ran the install with IE shut down completely. And Shockwave in ENABLED but in 32 bit .I have been trying to get this to work for about 3 weeks now. Flash Player is a browser add-on, not an executable program.
If you need to open a local SWF file you will need the standalone player (Projector) from http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
Note that the download is the player, not an installer, so you will need to make the file association manually.

Illustrator 15.0.2 extremely slow on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Illustrator has been working nicely on my computer up until the 15.0.2 upgrade. Now it chugs along at a snails pace and locks up/hangs frequently when switch between tools or windows.
My system specs are:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Intel i7 Q720 processor
6GB RAM
1GB ATI video card
Is anybody else experiencing extremely slow performance with the 15.0.2 upgrade?

I am having a suspisciously similar issue and I would like to elaborate a bit..
I too have this odd issue where Illustrator works ok (though screen redraw lags) but as soon as I go between programs, whether Notepad, Acrobat or similar simple programs - Illustrator freezes for 5-10 seconds. I go back and forth a lot - looking through documents (pdfs etc.) when I draw so the annoyance is simply unbearable.
I have used Illustrator for ages and roughly 6 months ago I bought a new PC to use at home. Its specs are:
OS: Windows 7 Pro 64 bit
PROC: Intel i7 930
RAM: 12 GB OCZ PLATINUM
GFX: ATI RADEON HD 5870
MOBO: P6X58D
These specs thrashes my specs at work by far and yet Illustrator BOTH CS4 and CS5 runs smooth and hazle free at the old worn out computer at work, while being close to useless at home. I have googled my eyes out and found no solution. Tried clearing the prefs, etc. - which made no difference. Disabled Aero and all other gfx consuming stuff - with absolutelu no improvement. I have even tried flagging Illustrator CS5 as Large Adress Aware... didn't help
I can run all other Adobe CS4 and CS5 (master edition) very good!

Can Oracle 11g client even be installed on the Windows 7 Home Premium 64?

As mention here home OS not supported, so as mention here again if you make some googling you can find link&blog which is mention to create WM machine, install linux(you can use OEL linux which is free and can be download from e-delivery site) than you can make 11g installation on it

I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

Ei.cfg not being seen by windows installer on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit retail disk.

My problem is that the retail disk of Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit has no ei.cfg restrictions. Instead of choosing the correct operating system ID, on install, the .cfg
is coming from some where else installing a custom version of windows that is a different version of windows than on the retail install disk that I have a software key to. Even though it recognizes the key as windows 7 the operating system no longer recognizes
the retail disk it was installed from as the same version of operating system. It seems that there is a pre operating system install to a volume that cant see the ei.cfg file on the windows retail disk. It is something like Windows ME or MCE and it is hard
to get past because it acts like the operating system after install. It looks like there is a complete install of windows 7 but it is only a version of ME or MCE in the 100MB range installed to a partition volume. I am given a User account Profile within
Application Data folder in the system. The actual windows system in its entirety does not exist in the partial virtual operating systems. All the installs are to Partition Volumes on the Partition of a GPT Server Partition on a Disk
on the Hard drive. All Virtual.

The above information was taken after an install from the Microsoft Windows 7 64 bit retail disk purchased at Fry's and installed to my Asus G75VX. It is a Network Managed Client Server configuration that installs from the retail disk.

I have been dealing with this problem since the day I purchased the first notebook from Best Buy configured this way and it was not even an Asus. It was a Samsung Chronos i7. The Asus G75VX I have now is the third notebook in a row purchased from Best Buy
with the configuration right out of the un open retail box. None out of the three came with windows 7 installed. They had windows 8 64bit installed with the configuration. I purchased Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit attempting to get around the configuration
problem.
My main concern is that I use computers to do my legal documents in court cases in the United States Federal Courts and I am a pro se litigator and I have been litigating a civil action since 2011 that is still open in the federal court. I am also legally
disable and covered by Federal Communications Act FCC Rule 255. This configuration has Telephone software and equipment, Management Software and equipment, and Networking software and equipment all covered within FCC Rule 255. My notebook is unusable for litigation
or personal use as a Publicly Managed Network Client Server. I paid $1350.00 of my Social Security Disability income for the Asus G75VX and another $216.00 for Windows 7 Home Premium 32 and 64 bit DVD and that is not counting a list of other things to
now have a personal notebook computer I have to sat down beside me in public libraries, Colleges etc. to use their computers to do my legal work. It is illegal and total wrong and it is a violation of the Bill of Rights First and Fourth Amendments and Title
VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the American with Disability Act outside of 255.

Replacing Motherboard on HP Media Center PC running Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit)

Running OEM version of Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit) on an HP Pavilion Media Center m8226x Desktop PC. Replacing motherboard ASUS M2N68-LA Motherboard 6150SE HP Narra2-GL8E with an MCP61PM-HM (Nettle2) motherboard due to failure. Both boards have same chipset and form factor. Can I just replace board without reinstalling windows? Do I need to install new drivers? I don't have an install CD or install key, would Microsoft provide a key if needed? Is there a link I can reference for MB replacement/ install?

The OEM license is tied to the original motherboard version, ie M2N68-LA. You lose the OEM "rights" when you changed the board.
