Hi,
I am try to install OBIEE 11.1.1.6 version in my laptop (Windows 7 64 bit).
I have installed successfully Database.
I have installed successfully RCU.
When I was installing OBIEE 13 step configuration part it's failed to creation domain.
I have followed as mention below steps where was wrong. Please help me on this.
1. Install Microsoft Loopback Adapter, set static IP address and add this entry to host file.
2. Set User Environment Variables to C:\TEMP and C:\TMP
3. Make sure your machine name has no special characters in it like underscore.
Still am facing the same 13 step for creation domain.
Please help me on this
Software versions:
OBIEE 11.1.1.6 --- 64bit
Databse : 11.1.2.0--64 bit
RCU: 11.1.1.6 -- 32bit
jrockit-jdk1.6.0_31-R28.2.3-4.1.0

All I can tell you is that I am having the exact same problem with an iPod Touch and that I was running iTunes 9.2.1.5 at the time it happened. Upgraded to 10.0.0.68 hoping that it might help, but no joy.
I don't want to do a restore just now since the Touch seems to be working fine. Restore will have to wait until I have plenty of free time in case something goes wrong.

10.5.1 500 Internal Server Error
The above error says Presentation services not running.
Using this command you can check:
Open --> Run--> Cd OBIEE_Home\Instance/Intstace / bin> opmnctl status
Try to stop services and again restart the all services.
stop the all services = opmnctl stop all
Start the services = opmnctl start all
I guess you installation not done completely.

I have used Firefox for 3 years on all my computers. However, Firefox 5 on my Windows 7 64-bit laptop locks up. I want to uninstall it and use an earlier version. Also, the "key' in the address bar to 'remember the password' for this site will NOT behave! No matter what I do, it continues to crop up. I dislike Firefox 5 because it is causing me delays, using up my time with constant problems. What previous version do you recommend I use?

If you using Windows 7 Professional environment means, please install the "Windows Virtual PC", by default it will comes with "Windows XP - 32 bit". On top of that, install the Hyperion 11.1.2.x 32 bit version and play.
Note : There is separate downloads available for "Windows virtual PC" for Windows 7 Home etc..

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if AAS won't install normally.

Not Windows RT then . When you say "I've tried both" do you mean the 32- and 64-bit installers for Windows? In the first instance you should go to http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ - this should detect the version of Windows you are running and offer the correct installer. It'll look like this:
Click on Download Now - this will download the correct installer for you to run and install iTunes.
There is, however, some anecdotal evidence that the scripts on the Apple site that are supposed to detect the version of Windows you are running may fail for some users - jumping straight to the "Thank you for downloading ..." page with the installer not having been downloaded. As an alternative, you can go directly to the relevant downloads:
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe
of which you'll need the second one. Windows 8 or Windows RT? iTunes won't run on Windows RT. It should run on Windows 8. Use the appropriate installer from an account with administrator privileges.

Adobe have not tested the CS4 on Windows 7 but you can try to install it should work.

Why was I required to load the 32 bit version of LR4.3 on my wife's Windows 8 Laptop?

I was setting up my wife's new windows 8 laptop with LR 4.3 and during the installation, I was informed that only the 32 bit version could be installed. It appears as though it performs much slower than windows 7 computers. Other programs installed seem to run at the same speed or faster. Is it due to windows 8 and will windows 8 Pro allow the installation of the 64 bit version??

You installed the 32bit version of Win 8 - or at least LR4 thinks so. Verify that. If yes, then everything is as it should be. If not, something went wrong, but we'd need a lot more info...

Normally you will be asked to provide the new prdouct serial number first, then when a qualifying version is not found you elect to provide that information and then select the version and provide its serial number. If this is not how things are flowing for you then you should contact Adobe support directly thru chat and get their help resolving it.

32-bit OEM windows on 64-bit laptop?

Hi guys!
I use a lenovo g550 model 20023 with a Intel Penium t4500. on the official intel site, as you can see here, this processor has a 64-bit instruction set, which shows that this is a 64-bit laptop...But , when this laptop was brought, it was shipped with 32-bit windows 7 Home Basic. As per what i know,there should be a 64-bit version of that windows version. I want to know why was it shipped like that and if I can switch to a 64-bit Windows operating system without any purchases.

32 bit OS is the base option for most pre-built base specific laptop. If you need 64 bit OS, you can try to get a 64 bit version of the Win 7 home basic from somewhere, install it and then activate it with the windows serial no. that you have on the laptop authenticity sticker.
Lenovo will charge you for the 64 bit version of the recovery media.
