Windows 7 64bit I-Tunes 64bit installs as I-Tunes 32bit why?

I was informed while attempting to install SRS IWOW how to tell ITunes 64bit from 32 bit in the About Window and found I am running 32 bit, I installed 64 bit some time ago but I guess one of teh upgrades made it 32 bit again. I checked in Task manager and sure enough it is ITunes 32bit.exe that is running, I even checked the Program files folder and found only some .dll's and the iTunes mini listed but under Program Files (X86) (which is where 32bit programs are placed) I find ITunes and the iTunes .exe.
I just tried using the 64 bit installer to repair the install assuming it would put it in the correct place and install the 64 bit.exe but no such luck everything is still 32.bit.
What do I have to do to install teh 64 bit version of Itunes so I can install the 64 bit version or SRS IWOW? I do not understand how a 64 bit installer of I-Tunes could possible be installing a 32 bit version but it seems to be the case here.

With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you?
