Windows 7 64bit on a t500 - need help.

Hi, I've just bought 2 banks of memory of 4 gb for my T500.
To use them i need to install Windows 7 64 bit.
I put the new OS on a USB pendrive but when I start the system I read in tehe screen " missing operating system".
The pen is ok as I used it on other pc without any problem.
Could you help me please?

how did you "put the OS on a USB pendrive"?
are you sure that the usb stick is set up as bootable?
did you set the BIOS boot order to "see" the USB stick first?

Hello I finally got an iPhone 5s, and I need to download iTunes so I can update my IOS 7.x to 8.1.2. After I downloaded ITunes I get an error 2 "apple application was not found. Apple Application support is required to run Itunes. Please uninstall Itunes, Then install Itunes again. I had an older version of itunes an it worked perfectly well before. I had my computer wiped clean and deleted everything. I tried reinstalling a few times, deleted every file including quick time and installing it again. Restartng my computer etc. I trie d to repairing itunes using the setup but it says i am missing iTunes64.msi and i can't find another source since it is missing.

I also try doing another method extracting the itunes setup using rarlab but can't seem to extract it to a folder to instal the standalone AAS installation.itunes error 2

Update:
I have downloaded QuickTime and I got a new error.
I can't start ITunes because MediaAccessibilty.dll is missing
An error 7 that iTunes is incorrectly installed
and I still have the same error trying to repair.

Windows Xp not detecting Ipod Need help

When i plug my ipod in to my desktop my ipod starts charging but it doesnt detect my ipod.I have even tried to do that restore thing where you hold menu/center button then when the apple logo appears hold center button/play or pause.I really really need help with getting my computer to detect my ipod.

Actually, the "vice-versa" part works, Macs can read and write Windows formatted iPods, but you can only manage music manually (syncing does not work until it it is restored for Mac). But back to the topic...
And it seems like this is a situation where the iPod has been working and now it does not. Please correct me if this assumption is wrong.
You have to eliminate the possible problems one by one, as many as possible. Starting at the computer... Note: These are separate things to try, not a single procedure.
Power down and restart the computer, if you have not already.
Try a different USB port.
Try a different docking cable, if possible. The connectors can become worn. Only two pins handle the power, so it is very possible for it to charge yet not connect for data.
The dock connector on the iPod may be worn out or have become faulty. Not much you can do about that, except have it replaced.
The "thing where you hold menu/center button" is not a restore. It is a reset (think rebooting your PC). Make sure you do it again following these instructions precisely.

If this does not help, put the iPod into disk mode, and then connect it to the computer.

If you manage to get iTunes to recognize the iPod, you may then want to do a restore (think reformatting your PC's hard drive and reinstalling Windows). This will erase the iPod and initialize its software. Then you can sync your iTunes library again.

Enable the guest account in Windows 7 and see if itunes will open in that account.
This will tell us if it's a user-specific problem, or system-wide.
Then work through the steps here,depending on what you find in the guest account.

Uploading files from windows media player to itunes need help!

Some of the files WMA are protected some are not. When I uploaded itunes real player files transfered to itunes. How would I go in to change the settings in windows to unprotect the files to have them transfered to itunes. Help please

iTunes will not accept Window Media player tracks that are protected. If you imported them off your own CDs, did you check the option to apply protection to them? If so, your only choice is to re-rip those CDs.

This should let you boot or give you options for Recovery. Follow the prompt to complete recovery.

H-P Laserjet 4L printer will not print with Windows 7 operating system. Need help

I have an H-P Laserjet 4L printer that worked fine with a Dell PC and Windows XP. But, it no longer worked when the PC was updated to Windows7. I was advised to buy an adapter that would accept the H-P plug and connect to the PC by means of a USB port. I did that, but the H-P still will not print. Anyone know what to do about this problem?

BDM 6 using Office 2010 on Windows 64 Bit Not Working Need Help...?

I've installed BDM6 on my 64bit Windows 7 environment and have found that Desktop Manager cannot find a trace of Office 2010
I then checked the Technical spec and found out that a 64bit system is unsupported... Which I find amusing....
Does anybody have a work around solution so I can synchronize my data?

Don't bother trying to downgrade to 32 bits windows 7 or to 32 bits Office 2010.
I can confirm ... as can 113 participants in a thread higher up this blog, that DM6 is a totally UNWORKABLE release full of fatal bugs.
DM6 was announced as the solution for people running Office 2010 32 bits ... well it is entirely useless... so best you change phone or keep an eye on this FORUM to see when the other two streams are likely to be "closed" out with solution!
The two threads are : "Desktop Manager version 6.0 Crashing" and "Updated to DM6, cannot Synchronise".... if you have any spare time,browse through these ... makes for a good read and lots of suggestions but no solutions in sight!
And yes RIM initially announced that they would not both about office 64bit until 2011!

Windows freezing?? pleasing need help

Hi i got my ipod yesterday and first thigns first it wasnt responding after i connected it straight away without installing software so i installed hte software and reset the ipod, the ipod is now fine, itunes is working.
Now heres the problem i connect my ipod to windows on the ipod it comes up do not disconnect and the battery icon is flashing as if charging and the wee icon pops up saying apple ipod connected. Then nothing my computer just freezes.
and its baffling me what to do any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

I have this same problem (60GB 5G iPod) When you plug in the ipod, one of the background services (i think its called ipodservice) crashes windows. you can still ctrl-alt-del to the task manager, however, and if you see ipodservice under processes and stop it, it sometimes fixes it. otherwise, i've found that every time i connect I have to log off from task manager, and log in again without disconnecting the ipod in order to get it to work. i do not have multiple users logged in, and am using WinXP Home.

Lightroom Windows 7, stalling installation. Need Help

I have been trying to install Lightroom in my new Windows 7 laptop. Whichever version of the program i try to install i get the following erorr message at installation."The installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exista and that you can acess it etc...". I have tried many times but the same message comes up. It is only for lightroom, i had an old version with me, which also gave the same message, tried the trial version of LR4, got the same message. Please help.

Have you tried downloading a fresh copy of Lightroom 4? If you can provide the steps you have completed previously it would help identify what else you maybe able to do next. If you have a case number from your interaction with our Chat team I can also reference that as well.

Msi S939 nf4 ultra sli pci-e live2 and windows SP2 ??? need help

Ok so i just bought Msi S939 nf4 ultra sli pci-e live2 and after i have installed the motherboard and everything went fine untill i installed Servise Pack 2. Does this motherboard even work with sp2? the problem is that when i boot my Pc it reboots before i can even get to windows, and giving an error that i can't read becose of that reboot, i have allso tryed to log in with safe mode but it does the same thing, what can i do? updating bios helps? i dont know what version i have, its the one that comes with the mb cd... PLEASE HELP ME !!!

First steps:
When opening a mobo from it box and before mounting it in your PC , clear cmos w/jumper (you never know whats stored on it in cmos from testing etc)
Next boot directly to bios when having it powered and load optimized defaults ( this sets ACPI/MPS/DMA etc. in usable values)
(some options are even not shown anymore , so make sure to load "Optimized Defaults" before continuing.
Restart it a few times until update DMI pool is no longer dispalyed in post screen.
Then proceed wit install of xp.
Installing windows xp .
To be "absolutely sure use F5 key when xp setup displays press F6 to load raid drivers .
Then you can select the correct HAL for your system .
With single core cpu select "ACPI Uniprocessor" and
with dual core select "ACPI Multiprocessor" .
This will ensure you have a xp installation and bios match for your system , and a troublefree win install.

BSOD 24 times in a row always the same hal.dll+6034 & ntoskrnl.exe+15c4e9 error on windows 8.1 pro, really need help badly.

Can't open windows .doc in my mac - need help

hello,
I am wondering if there is a program other than buying OFFICE that I can downlaod or use to allow me to open .doc attachments in my mac. I asked the 3rd party to email me .pdf but they cannot convert their documents to .pdf in a timely manner and are only able to send .doc to my computer. Is there a program in my sys. that i can use (my computer is new,just getting familiar with it) ???

Oh ,I bought a N70 in China.It is not all the same as the product which sold in Euro.It doesn't have the anterior camera .And my N70 can't play the windows media aduio files from my classical music CDs,I tried several software but all failed.What's the matter?

WMAPlus! says it plays Windows Media Audio on phones like the N70 (based on S60 2nd Ed.):

I believe it does not handle DRM (Digital Rights Management) protected WMA files, though.
Also, there's no S60 3rd Edition version (but then there are S60 3rd Edition based models with WMA support built-in, such as the N91).
