I downloaded premiere Elements 12 Using new Download Assistant because could not get the address www.adobe.come/go/ols_ww_login/ To go to the my order page and I think I did not get the 64bit version. I.Installed the version download and just get the opening screen and will not go any further how do I go get the 64bit version for my windows 7 64bet computer. And will the new version work with version 10 files if so can I delete
the old version 10. Thanks

I do not have any visual studio version installed to rebuild the source.
Is there a way of having the bdb xml working with a 64bit jdk?

I'm having a problem building for the x64 platform using a 64-bit Windows 7 Pro system with Visual Studio 8 and dbxml 2.5.16. Building for Win32 works just fine. When I switch to the x64 platform, the build skips every project:
========== Build: 0 succeeded or up-to-date, 0 failed, 52 skipped ==========
Looking in the Configuration Manager, every project shows the x64 platform; but selecting one of these platform menus reveals that x64 isn't an option in the menu and the platform for that project is automatically changed to Win32 (the only valid option).
The same problem occurs with dbxml 2.5.13 and Windows XP.
Any ideas?

Hello, how can I install windows 7 64bit version on my MBP??
Now I use Mac os 10.6 and windows 7 32bit. I want to use all RAM memory (4gb)... Thets why I need 64bit.
So, the problem is.. When I'am trying to install 64bit windows 7, installer wrote that he cant find dvd-rom driver.
How I try to install windows:
1. Burn UDF disk (original Windows 7 64bit Ultimate, ~3.15gb)
2. Reload mac, with C key.
3. See the Windows installer. Click install, see the problem.
So, can anybody help me? )) Maybe I make a mistake wiht burning Dvd or My MBP doesnt support 64bit OS??P.S. Sorry for my English))) I'm not American )

I am having the same problem trying to install 64 bit Windows 7. I used the Bootcamp Assistant, followed the whole process as specified, but at an early stage it said it needed a driver for the cd/dvd drive; when I tried to give it the required driver, it said 'No drivers found'. I took it to the Apple Store and even the 'Geniuses' couldn't sort it. We tried putting the OSX disk in an external disk drive and giving it the drivers that way, but same message... (32 bit was no problem). Apple Store are contacting an engineer to see if they have any further ideas, will post if they come back with anything useful.

No Registry records of ID in Windows 7 (64bit) after installation

i moved my problem from another discussion into this new one... i don't know if it is normal, but i have just installed ID and PS from my CS5 pack, restarted the computer and checked Windows Registry (through "regedit" in command line) if there are some records of the applications. suprisingly there is only Photoshop in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE under SOFTWARE and no INDESIGN. that is the same problem i had before the installation when i had had to uninstall CS5 because it hadn't worked properly and i couldn't find any records of ID in Registry as well. now it seems the reinstallation helps - ID seems to work properly but i cant find any records in Registry again.
You guys who have ID under Windows 7 64bit, could you please check if you have some records in Windows registry in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE under SOFTWARE? I dont think its normal that there are none

the only relevant or seemingly important key i've found is InDesign.Application and InDesign.Application.CS5. But I can't figure out why there is no InDesign key in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE under SOFTWARE, as EACH software i have installed has its key here. I had ID on my previous computer with WINDOWS 7 32bit, and in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE there were all respective keys of the applications from CS5 i had installed. maybe Windows 7 64bit version manages keys in a different way
today again when i opened ID it behaved strangely. no toolbars, no layout and when i clicked on the hidden toolbar only then it showed up and ID gave a message that programm stopped working and will be closed... and really - it was closed

Having said that, there are ppl who have installtion done on Windows 7 as well.
I would say, check the services first if they are up and running or not. If yes, then logs should be the first place to visit.

well i have found that i needed to not just uninstall itunes, but also apple mobile device support, bonjour apple software update and apple application support - uninstall all these and then install itunes - that seesm to have fixed it, though now i am sync fail - that's a different matter perhaps

To my knowledge there are no official MS Windows DVDs that contain both the 32 and 64 bit versions. There is a way to make a USB thumb drive that has both bit version on it but AFAIK this can't be done on a DVD disc even with a Dual Layer DVD disc.
For the Windows installer to function, actually boot the system to the install routine, certain files have to be on a certain area of the DVD disc. If by chance you really do have a DVD disc that contains both bit versions your Mac is only seeing the 32bit version on that disc.
You'll need to get a Real MS DVD of just the 64bit version or download the 64bit version ISO from My Digital Life and burn it to a DVD disc.
