Windows 7 64Bit Wont sync, NOT gigabyte Mobo OR P55 chipset

I have an MSI mobo with Nvidia 630i chipset, I cannot sync with my iPhone.
In fact, things are so bad that when I try to sync my USB ports crash and the external HD stops working completely.
I know its iTunes as everything works fine until I try to sync.
Its the 64Bit Win7. It all worked fine on my old OS (32bit Vista) and now Im stuck with no way to sync my Phone.
Yes, ive tried re-installing iTunes, updating to latest version, Updating the iPhone (it bricked when the update crashed, its not jus syncing broken!!!! I had to restore on a friends machine) Even with the latest 3.1.2 on now it wont sync. I cant restore my backup either!
My phone is totally messed up, I cant listen to music, I can sync etc. This is not acceptable!

i checked for usb legacy options. no such luck.
my next step will be to use the windows 7 sdk kit which comes with xperf, xperfview and xbootmgr. these tools should be able to assist me with doing a trace during the boot process.
however if my theory is correct.... the issue doesn't happen during the windows driver boot process but before....
so i will try to do a trace and see what it finds. but in any case, anyone have suggestions on how to do a bios memory dump? preferably while the system is still running or while it is frozen before the post screen.
i really really hate giving up on technical problems. my only other option is to either return the usb drive for warranty and hope i get a new drive with an updated firmware or buy a new usb drive...

Ipod Touch 4th generation 32G not turning on, not charging.
I have used multiple cords on both computer USB and wall USB converters. I let it sit there for over 20 min with each attempt.
It is not being detected by Itunes or my Windows 7 64bit OS. I have tried all 4 of my USB ports (both USB 2.0 and 3.0), with 3 different chargers.
Holding home and power button will not reset.
Tried taking it out of "DFU" mode but Itunes won't detect it, I didn't think that would work anyway.
NO DAMAGE, I have been very careful with it, aside from a few minor scratches. (that you can't even see unless the light reflects them)
My Itunes is up to date, as is my OS.
All I'm getting is a blank black screen. It has been working fine on this computer before. I have no idea what could have happened. I'm at my wits end here.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Windows 7 64bit - Wallpaper is not shown

First of all: sorry for my bad english (I'm from germany)
My wallpaper on my Satellite L670-11R (Windows 7 Home Premium) is not shown. I can only see the backgroundcolor which I can also change although I have an image activated as the desktop background in the properties. When I shutdown my computer I can see the wallpaper for a short time and when I switch to another user I have no problems with it and I can change my wallpaper there.
What can be the reason for this problem? How can I fix this problem.

I can understand you very well and I use my notebook on the same way. As background I use for months now just blue colour but anytime I want I can change any offered wallpaper.
You must understand that such issues are not easy and it is always problematic to discuss on this virtual way. Best option for you is to talk with someone who has good PC knowledge and who can put your notebook on the desk and investigate a little bit what is wrong there.
Here you can get standard answers only > check personalization settings and try to define different themes to see if anything will be changed.
If you have some picture made by your digital cam saved on the notebook try to define it as wallpaper.
Choose your desktop background > Picture location > Browse ...... go to certain picture.
I use notebooks almost 14 years now and I have never heard about such problem. To be honest it will be interesting to have your notebook and see what happen exactly.

You have to use iCloud for the Notes. Books can be synced via iTunes.

Hope Im posting this in the correct forum. I have a XP PRO 64bit SP2 (latest version support till April 2014)
It has 4GB of ram and I have upgraded it to 8GB. The bios see the extra ram but the OS will not. Running crucial memory tool also sees the ram. I have tried looking for a memory mapping option in the bios but there is none. I have also tried enabling the
15-16mb memory hole but this made the server hang on post and I had to remove bios battery to fix. Also tried ticking the maximum memory in msconfig but only allows to state 4gig.
Anyway I can get this OS to see the extra memory that the bios does ?

Hi,
it might be the motherboard or cpu do not support 8GB of RAM, or the BIOS has been configured to limit the amount of RAM shown to OS. Check the bios configuration and check if there are updates for the BIOS.
You could test using an alternate OS (Windows PE, Linux live,...) to see if these are able to detect the aditionnal RAM.
And... doublecheck the OS truly is 64 bit; 32 bit OS would only support 4GB.

printed form the computer. I will also get an error that SBS Console has stopped working and restart. The console will then work after clicking restart. These are probably related issues. Appreciate any step by step instructions to

I will also get an error that SBS Console has stopped working and restart.
For the SBS console issue, please follow the path:
C:\Program Files\Windows Small Business Server\Logs and check Console log file if find more relevant clues.

Why after I update to iTunes 10.6.1 on my windows 7 64bits I can not synchronize my iPhone 4s 64gigs?

After I updated to itunes 10.6.1 I can not synchronize my iphone 4s.

I attempted to upgrade to V 11.0.1
which ended with an error message and a code 2330.
That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

HP Elitebook 8560w windows 7 64bit SSD upgrade not working

I've have an elitebook 8560w which i want to upgrade with a SSD. I've looked for solutions to put my OS on the SSD but everywhere I look (forums, HP website) they say i need a recovery disc to preform a clean installation on the SSD. The problem is there is no HP Recovery Manager on the Elitebook and I tried to buy the recovery disc and that's not possible either. Does someone know what to do ?

You can do this...
If you can read the 25 character Microsoft windows 7 product key, you can download plain Windows 7 ISO files to burn to a DVD for the version of windows that came installed on your PC, and that is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC's case.
Burn the ISO using the Burn ISO option on your DVD burning program and burn at the slowest possible speed your program will allow. This will create a bootable DVD.
Or use the Windows 7 USB/DVD installation tool to compile the ISO file you download from Digital River. Link and instructions below. You need a 4 GB flash drive to use the USB method of compilation.

W540 - Windows 8 64bit - Fn-Keys not working

Dear Community
I have a brand new W540 with Windows 8.1 running. Some Fn-Keys are working, for example Fn+F2 for the volume. But I have some keys which are not working: Fn+F5 or Fn+F6 should change the LCD brightness.
Do you know why these keys are not working? All updates are applied (Lenovo and Windows)

Can you change brightness in the Power control panel?
1. from the start screen, type "Power Options"
2. click on Power Options
3. At the bottom of this window, should be a slider control to change the screen brightness. Is it there? Does it work?

My iphone 3gs wont sync!! need help as i really need to sync it asap

A few months ago i think i deleated something I shouldnt have, not my iphone wont sync (not been able to sort it for months so it seriously needs doing), im hoping someone more apple savvy than me can help me sort it.
When i press it to sync it just says 'waiting for sync to start' and then the actual syncing never starts.

Not sure what you deleted but assuming you have windows, you might want to try uninstall iTunes and all of its components as by following this guide exactly: Windows XP or Windows Vista/7, then reinstall iTunes. (You must follow this guide exactly or it will not be successful.) Note: uninstalling iTunes will only remove the application; it will not touch your iTunes library or data.

ITunes wouldnt start on my Windows 7 64bit, I found the fault!!

My windows 7 64bit computer would not load the new iTunes 9, all downloaded and installed with no issues but it just would not fire the program up when the icon/or program from file was selected. Sorted it tho!! After hours of fiddling I have found the problem, of all things it is incompatible with the Apple program 'Bonjour Service!
Follow this and it should sort out the issue, well it did for me and takes only a few minutes and no hair loss!!
Go to start menu and click RUN (bottom RHS), in the address bar type- msconfig press return. This will open a new window, click on selective start up, click 'apply' now click on the services tab and scroll down to 'Bonjour Service' deselect this box then click 'apply' then click OK. A box will now ask you if you want to restart, click restart. Once the computer restarts it should work. I had to deselect each item in turn until iTunes worked so this took me hours, however, it should be much quicker for you!

Many thanks for your post. I've been trying for days to get this sorted and was getting well fed up with I-Tunes. Really thought i'd never get it working again. Tried un-installing it, loading older versions and they still wouldn't work.
Came across your suggestion by chance and top man - it worked..!!!!
How you even knew what to do is beyond me - but thanks so much. I really was pulling my hair out.

Unable to setup HP 2015dn printer on windows 7 64bit

I have configured HP 2015dn printer in windows xp machine. we are using that shared printer on another desktop on which windows 7 32bit OS is instlled. I am not able to setup printer in one all of the machines on which I have installed windows 7 64bit.
I think it's a problem of driver. This printer driver is availble in windows 7 but only for 32 bit. So there is any other solution to installed that shared printer on windows 7 64bit machin.
Note- All systems are brand new and geniue OS.

Your antivirus may be conflicting.
Post back if you have trouble.
Swapping cables ports and avoiding hubs may also help.

TS1389 I keep getting a message telling me my ipad cannot be synced because my computer is not authorised for items purchased on this i pad. I tunes tells me it is authorised and o have follewed the sugestions for windows 7 and it stil wont sync.

I have the same problem. It is only with tv shows and only with programs I have downloaded after the software update.
Apple support sent me the above link too....but it doesn't solve the problem...my computer is authorized and the content is in my library and will play on my Mac air, but it will not sync the tv shows, it keeps saying my computer isn't authorized for it.
No answers here, but you are definitely not alone with this issue.
