Windows 7: After re-installing and removing, FireFox won't work

Hello,
I have recently been having problems getting FireFox to work. It was working perfectly fine yesterday, and now today it's not. I have been getting errors:
"The procedure entry point SAMCLI.NetUserGetInfo could not be located in the dynamic link library NETAPI32.dll."
And followed by:
"Couldn't load XPCOM."
Sometimes the second error only shows up, but mainly it's just these. I've deleted the FireFox folder out of my Program Files and re-installed. Didn't work. I've tried multiple FireFox versions:
-Regular Firefox
-FireFox Beta
-Nightly
I've done just about everything, and still no luck. My friend recommended I ask here for assistance. I would appreciate any help!

Try to install Firefox in a different program program folder via a custom install.
You can also try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

You can inspect and manage the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab via these steps:

Error 101(net::er_connection_reset) the connection was reset. This kept coming up and now firefox won't work. Have uninstalled firefox and the problem appears to have stopped. WHY??

Would not let any browser start,so have uninstalled firefox 6 and can now get on google chrome.

Updates failing to install and now RAW won't work

Just reinstalled Photoshop CS5 on a new computer... Photoshop is working fine until I imported new shots and tried to edit them in RAW.
Wouldn't read the data.
So ran all the updates.. only BRIDGE, EXTENSION MANAGER & ILLUSTRATOR updates have failed.
All it says is "There was an error downloading this update.Please quit and try again later".
I have... still hasn't worked.
And what's even worst is there seems to be no option to chat directly to Adobe.
This needs to be resolved now as I have a client waiting.
Any ideas?

After a storm and short power failure, I started having trouble with certain sites loading, and pages moving slower. I emptied my cache and defragged and ran total virus/ malware scan, but still had problem. (Pages loaded fine on AOL) I decided to uninstall Firefox and re-install to help fix problem. I did this, and now Firefox won't open, no matter if I double click, right click (open), or go through "all programs". I tried to uninstall and re-install again, but now I can't get it to respond through my control panel, either.

It's not that you can't format it because you have no backup, it's because you'll lose everything when you do. Lesson learned. Always have a backup.

Do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop. 
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer. 
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can skip the step to create a new profile, that is not necessary for this issue.

Is it possible to install and use Firefox in a local disk drive D: ?

A desktop computer with Windows XP, Professional Version and Service Pack 3. The browser is Explorer 8 and the search engine is Google. There is very little free space left in local disk drive C: and the browser Google combination is painfully slow.
The computer also has a local disk drive D: which has only recently been formatted as NTFS with about 18 GB of free memory.
Can I use this drive D: to install and operate Firefox ? Drive C: is probably the default drive in the installation process and the question is can it be altered to drive D:, if so how is it done. How much memory does Firefox use after it is installed.
Any direction and advice would be appreciated to use as much of drive D: as possible with a Firefox Google combination.

If you would install Firefox on the D:/ drive the vast majority of its files would end up in /Documents and Settings/ on the C:/ drive where the operating system resides.
Firefox Portable will keep all its files together, where you install it.

Can't open itunes,even after un-installing and then re-installing!

I keep getting the following error message when trying to open itunes on my pc.
'The folder "itunes" cannot be found or created, and is required.The default location for this folder is inside the "my music" folder.'
This error message appeared even after un-installing and re-installing itunes.
I conducted a search for the 'my music' folder,and it came up with nothing.
Please help!

If you truly don't have a folder named C/......./My Music, there are bigger problems with that PC.
That folder is a default windows XP folder and should be there.
The file extensions setting is easy to change. Win Explorer > Tools > Folder options

If your music folder really doesn't exist, see if you can do the shift-start and CREATE a new library. It will be blank, but at least that will tell us if itunes can even start. It will NOT run without an ITL library file.

Since you mention Firefox, I assume that the original problem is with Internet Explorer?
If so, check if that malware has the "kill-bit" set for Flash Player: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3432049#3432049
If you find that this "kill-bit" is set in your registry, don't remove it manually (unless you are very confident editing the registry); post back here, and someone will post an easy way to remove that "kill-bit".

Install a proxy server on the centos machine and configure your local Firefox to connect through that proxy.
If you really want to run Firefox on the centos machine, install a VNC server instead.
(Obviously, use Google if you don't know what that means ;)

Anyone having trouble with App Store install and cloud store buttons not working after 6.1 update? I go to install an app. I hit install and nothing happens. About a minute later it asks me for my password and then it does nothing. The install button goes back to saying install. However the app shows up in my installed list and in cloud but no app installed.

OK - I found a helpful post - closed app store app and under Settings/General/Date and Time I reset the date and time by switching off "Set Automatically" and then switching it on again. Went back to App Store, launched it and Updatesseems to be working again.
Go figure? Logical, No!
