Windows 7 bluescreens on shutdown, problem persists after Windows reinstall

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA. The video shuts down too quickly for me to read anything else.
Sure, it sounds like a hardware problem. However,
1) It doesn't happen when I shutdown from safe mode (before nor after reinstalling Windows)
2) I ran the Windows memory diagnostics and they come up clean
I live in Brazil so I'm running the Brazilian Portuguese version.
Any clues?

Before we could get your Minidump files, I would like to suggest you try the following:
1. Update your display card and chipset drivers.
2. check disk.

I faced similar challenge. Re-installation did not solve the problem due to unsuccessful un-installation of ‘Microsoft Click to run 2010’. The following steps worked for me. Please use your discretion to try and see if it works for you too..
1 Uninstall Microsoft office Starter 2010. If
‘MS click to run 2010’ doesn't get uninstalled use Microsoft fix it tool meant for installing and uninstalling programmes, to uninstall the same.
2 Download ‘Microsoft Office Starter 2010’ from internet.
3 Before launching, right click the executable file and click the 'properties'. Go to
‘compatability’ tab and choose appropriate 'compatibility mode' as per your OS. Tick the check box to use admin privilege under
privilege level section.
4 Launch the executable to install Microsoft Office Starter 2010 afresh. It should go through four steps during installation now. Complete the steps and enjoy. Thanks !

Flash problem persists after 6 months...does this new information help?

I posted my problem almost 6 months ago, (I'll paste some of the info below to bring you up to date), but I STILL can't access only FOUR sites because I get a "Plugin file is missing" error, (after my previous post I found 2 other sites). I've been trying to solve this problem off & on, but I got more dedicated the other day because I'll be needing access to these sites very soon. I found some new information today that I hope will solve this awful problem; however, since I'm not very technically inclined I know I have to ask a "Flash Expert", so here goes....
I run Windows 8 & I use Mozilla exclusively. I updated Flash the other day to version 15.0.0.152 & I wanted to make sure the plugins had been updated, so I opened the "Flash Player Settings Manager" & under the "Advanced" tab it lists:
                                        NPAPI Plugin Version 15.0.0.152
                                        PPAPI Plugin Version Not installed
Is it significant that the PPAPI Plugin is "Not installed", or does Mozilla only require the NPAPI plugin?
My second question regards the installation of Flash. I know that when a program is problematic, it sometimes helps to uninstall & reinstall it...I recently had a game that went nuts & that's the procedure I had to do. Also, someone on Mozilla's forum said they were having a Flash issue & they went to your site & downloaded the .exe AND the .msi Installers from the Distribution Page, then manually installed them & their problem was resolved. Would this help me resolve MY Flash problem? If you think it's worth a try, do I have to uninstall Flash first?
Well, that's all the new info I have. I have to figure this out before December because that's when the nest-cam comes back on...I really have to get this problem fixed! I'll paste my previous post below, but I hope the uninstall/reinstall method will be the answer!

I watch several wildlife nest-cams every day running Windows 8 using Firefox 29.0.1, but yesterday morning, (after I'd already watched the 6 cams I view every day), I started getting a solid, black screen with, "Error loading plugin: Plugin file not found", on TWO of these sites.
My attempts to resolve the problem were:
1. Checked all the other web-cam sites I view daily, and there's only a problem on 2 of them.
2. Went to You Tube, Facebook & other similar sites and I can view streaming media.
3. Refreshed pages-when that didn't help, I closed & reopened Firefox & still 2 sites with "plugin loading error"
4. Completely shut-down my laptop & rebooted.
5. Did "System Restore" to earlier in the day when ALL web-cam sites were working.
6. Went to Adobe Flash site & verified that I had the most current version...I do, & I saw the animations on Flash site.
7. Verified my Flash Plugins in Firefox...AGAIN...they're all activated & up-to-date
8. Checked & re-checked ALL the web-cam sites I view every day, (for, at least the 10th time), and the
     same 2 sites are still showing the "Error loading plugin: Plugin file not found" on a black screen. Even
     though the video isn't seen the "chat" area is functioning, (I don't know if that's important, but I
     thought I should mention it).
9. I posted the issue on Firefox's Forum but no one has an answer since Flash works everywhere except
     for 2 sites.
I've tried everything I can think of to troubleshoot this, but as you can see, I've had no success in solving this "mystery".
As for the 2 sites I can't view, they are:

P.S. I just checked on another site that offers many different wildlife cams, & I CAN view the "Pittsburgh Bald Eagles" if I go through: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/pittsburgh-bald-eagles    I'm sure this means something, but since I don't understand this technical stuff I don't know what that is! (I told you I'm clueless!)

I definitely see a problem with the pixcontroller/eagles site on Windows 8.1. It works fine for me in the same version of Firefox on Windows 7. It's unclear to me whether it's a Firefox or a Flash Player issue, but I'm happy to look into it further and get some bugs filed.
As a temporary workaround, both sites work fine with Google Chrome and Internet Explorer.

Disk problem persists after hard drive replaced

I've recently inherited a Macbook Pro which proceeded to die almost immediately. It showed all the signs of hard disk failure - erratic crashing, sometimes failing to boot, hanging/going slow. Eventually it completely refused to boot, sometimes showing the ? in a directory symbol - other times just going nowhere.
Starting the laptop target mode allowed the recover of files, but not reformatting the disk.
So I replaced the hard disk, only to find the same problem. When I go to install OSX I cannot format the disk to start the installation.
I also (accidentally!) installed OSX on another computer's hard drive using the other computer in target mode. This worked fine, until, obviously, I unplugged the other computer.
Is this a hard disk controller problem or something?
Any help much appreciated!

I actually just had this same issue when I put a new hd in my mbp. I found this info on seagate, which enabled me to initialize the drive. The link is below. After that everything was ok. Hope it helps.

Font looking too small on certain sites (problem persists after a bit of basic troubleshooting)

FF started handling fonts awry just out of the blue. I don't recall installing anything or fiddling with settings (be it Win7 or Firefox itself) the day before I started having this problem.
I've tried by now:
* Resetting zoom
* Clearing history (didn't, however, clear site preferences)
* JS, Basic Page Style are obviously enabled
* Fiddling with minimum font size settings (to no avail)
* Running FF in safe mode (thus, not an issue with my add-ons)
Want to make it clear, that google isn't the only site affected.

EDIT: at the time I still had FF 5, updated it to 6 but the issue remained.

Since Chrome is working, then there's something going wrong with your IE and Firefox installs of Flash Player. Could you tell me what files you have in the C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash folder?

It sounds like you are modifying an existing city object, instead of a new one. Ensure that you create a new city object and do not modify an existing one from the UI.
If still stuck, perhaps include the full source to this class, where is ciudadActual used and where is it being modified. Sounds like the UI is directly modifying this object.

Scheduled shutdown problem reappeared after two days...

My computer had stopped shutting down at its scheduled time, I read all the advice I could find on this forum, and finally was successful in rescheduling the shut down by deleting the "com.apple.AutoWakeplist" file. It worked for two days. This morning I came in to find my computer was still on, for no apparent reason (no files needed to be saved, etc...). Does anyone have any idea as to what might be going on?

Before I could respond to you, I had to go back and figure out what I had done to solve my problem. Hopefully this will help you out if you haven't already figured out a solution. Actually, I'm just repeating what others have shared with me...

In my case, that didn't help, so I deleted the "com.apple.AutoWakeplist" file, and that worked for me. As indicated in the post you responded to, I thought the problem had returned, but as I posted to NifflerX, it was my husband unexpectedly using my computer. (A solar eclipse is more common than him using the computer, so I didn't even think of it at first).
I, too, had trouble finding the plist. I think you might find it in your SystemConfiguration folder. Note that SystemConfiguration is written as one word if you look for it with the Finder.
I hope this helps. Our computers can sure be ornery sometimes!!

All ISP's have issues of some sort of another that some customers will experience. One more thing before I go. Are your PC's connecting directly to the RG, or are you using some other intervening router?

TS4088 What happens if problems persist after I install the patch?

I've installed the software patch a few times and find that for a few days to a few weeks the intermittent loss of video seems fixed, and then it will come back with several blackouts in a short span of time, which prompts me to install the patch again...
Anyway, I'm wondering if there's a chance that upgrading my OS will fix it? Or is it just time to go to Genius bar and be w/o my machine for a while?

Big iMac problems, even after full reinstall

I am so frustrated!
A week or so ago I had my Mac taken in for repair through Applecare for a display issue. In replacing the LCD the repair teams informed me there was a problem with the hard drive fan, and that they had replaced this too.
Background
When I received my repaired iMac back and powered it on, it wouldn't load past the initial grey screen/spinning gear. I tried absolutely everything I could think of or find online:
- Resetting the PRAM
- Performing a SMC reset
- Booting into single user mode and running fsck
In doing this I identified numerous little niggles and decided a clean install would be necessary. I found it was near impossible to boot from the iMac's restore disks (Snow Leopard 10.6.2), because it kept ejecting the disk on boot. Eventually, after about 4 hours I managed to get the disk to stay in the drive (not sure how) and boot from it. From selecting the install DVD from the boot launcher I had to wait about 10 minutes to see the installer. From then, it worked as expected and at the speed it always did work at.
From there, in Disk Utility I performmed Permission and Disk verifications and repairs, then erased the hard drive (I have a backup) and installed again from scratch. This install did not succeed - an error was thrown up about not being able to copy over support files or something and it demanded I restarted and tried again. This time, it worked and installed in 20 minutes or so.
I performed full software updates and am in the process of re-downloading Lion.
Current issues
The issue I'm experiencing now involves the length of time it is taking to boot the Mac. It takes between 10 and 20 minutes to get to the desktop, but once it does, performance is completely normal.
The second issue is that the computer is still spitting out DVDs. I am unable to get either the install disk or the applications disk with iLife on it to stay in the drive. I haven't tested this with other CDs/DVDs but it's certainly not working with these two. When I insert a disk, it spins for a while before giving up and spitting the disk back out.
Questions
1) Do these issues strike people as being hardware or software faults?
2) Are there any diagnostics/troubleshooting steps I can take before sending the Mac off for repair again or is it simply a matter of replacing faulty components?

Sounds like you've had your fair share of aggro with this.
Reading through your list of woes you might try one thing to improve the start-up time, although 10-20mins is an exceptionally long time. Some users on here have reported startup times in the 5mins region and doing the following has often helped: System Preferences>Startup Disk and click on 'Macintosh HD, Mac OS X 10.6.8' and then click on restart.

Strange visual corruption of Firefox 7.0.1, persists after complete removal and reinstall

I noticed this a couple of days ago but my firefox appears 'distorted' almost like everything is scribbled. The text isn't smooth or distinct, all borders don't appear even and it persists through all menus, sub-menus, every website, etc.
No other software on my system is experiencing this, and my laptop install of Firefox is just fine. I have a screenshot to compare between FF7.0.1 and the most recent build of Chrome.
While this only started a few days ago I did recently install a new video card, ATI HD 6750, however no other software is affected in the same way.
I've attempted to run a full removal of Firefox and reinstall but the problem persists after reinstallation.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Additional:
I ran FF in safe mode and that corrected the visual corruption but there were no differences in add-ons etc so still no idea what the fundamental cause of the issue is. Please see attached screenshot for clarity

i had this same problem and after a reinstall of leo and a time machine migration i STILL has the issue.. so i finally figured out where it came from after seeing a rouge info.plist sitting in the root of my hd.
after i deleted that plist my xcode works!

With no Firefox window open, I can't launch a new one. Or click on an email link and launch a window. This started when I upgraded to 5. Now I downgraded to 4 again and problem persists

I upgraded to Firefox 5, then noticed when a window was open I couldn't launch another one. Or launch into Firefox off an email link. Or open a new window if there was none open.
So I downgraded back to 4. Problem persists.

Uninstall the ones you know about, yes.
As regards the others, it's difficult to say. All you can do is to disable them all via Safe Mode (checkmark "Disable all add-ons", then "Make changes and restart") and then re-enable them one by one checking each time until the problem recurs. Laborious I know, but the only sound way of doing it I'm afraid.
