Windows 7 bootcamp drivers not installing properly

Hi All,
I just installed 32 bit Windows 7 Professional on my early 2011 Macbook Pro 2.2ghz i7 and the OS is working fine, but the ethernet controller, bluetooth, facetime camera, network controller, PCI simple communications controller, and SM bus controller all have yellow exclamation points next to them in device manager and are located in a subfolder called "other devices"
I have already installed and reinstalled the boot camp driver pack off of the OSX 10.6 DVD to no avail, as well as trying to install the Marvell Ethernet Controller driver manually, but nothing works.
Any help on this would be much appreciated, I am going crazy trying to figure this out.

Apple has a 3.2 version Driver Update especially for the 2011 MBPs here http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/ (right side)
Hope it helps
Stefan

  • Just installed vista and bootcamp won't install because it needs windows 7 in order to install properly

    Hey so i just bought by 15" MacbooK Pro yesterday and wanted to install windows vista on it. I'm to the part where you're supposed to install windows bootcamp but a message comes up saying that it needs windows 7 in order to install properly. What do i do?? I have the upgrade version of windows 7 (whcih i was going to eventually install) but when i tried installing it an error message came up saying that it needs vista service pack 1 to install. In order to install that service pack I need to connect to the internet. I can't connect to the internet, though, without installing the drivers from bootcamp!! AHH! see how this is frustrating? PLEASE HELP ASAP!

    Reboot your computer while holding down the option key. You should be presented with the option to boot into OSX. Once booted into OSX start Boot Camp Assistant and select remove the Boot Camp Partition.
    I know Boot Camp Assistant was not installed in Windows. It is an OSX application for creating and removing a Boot Camp partition. It is run from OSX.

  • Some of the drivers from the os x disk are not installing properly?

    I recently use bootcamp to partition my hard drive. Windows XP installed just fine. I inserted the os x disk like it says to do in the instructions. It told me I needed an updated installer but failed to update. I went into the contents of the CD and began to install the drivers individually. Now some drivers, like the i-sight camera one, did not install properly and im ok with that. But, the ATI drivers, and the Nvidia drivers, the ones I need to play many games (the whole reason I partitioned my hard drive) did not install properly. They installation processes told me that it did not detect the correct drivers for the installation and would now shut down (the nvidia one) and the ATI one failed from almost the beginning but attempted to finish the installation, and failed agian. Any suggestions, ideas, or comments on how I could fix this problem or install these drivers another way would be greatly appreciated!

    (sigh) bumb, come on? doesn't anybody have an idea?

  • Why is my itunes not installing properly? I installed it and it was fine, then it started to show Errors. iTunes exe - Entry Point not Found. And the Error 7 (Windows error 127).Itsays to reinstall iTunes. I did that and same error. new pc, same on old

    Why is my itunes not installing properly?
    I installed itunes day before yesterday,  I spent hours last night linking all my music photograph and movie files, its a new windows 8 laptop.
    I plugged in my 64GB ipad 3 rebooted it and reloaded all the information I wanted on it, took hours... finally completed this this morning. After this I restarted the laptop to configure my icloud link for the laptop (which I installed last night while I was loading files, I chose to restart later)
    on completion I turned my laptop off for a few hours, when I turned it back on I went to itunes to connect my iphone to do the same and I got this message:
    iTunes exe - Entry Point Not Found
    The procedure entry point
    AVCFPlayerAppliesMediaSelectionCriteriaAutomaticallyKey could not
    be located in dynamiclink library F:\Programmes\iTunes.dll
                                                                                               OK
    then after pressing 'OK' the following message:
    iTunes
    iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes
    Error 7 (Windows error 127)
    I went back to apple website to reinstall iTunes, first reinstalled it same again, then unsinstalled it and the reinstalled it, same again.
    The same thing happened with my old lap top and I replaced it with this new one at the start of the week.
    Has anyone any idea what is going on and how to rectify this problem, I am now going on 3 weeks without iTunes.
    Regards,
    Damian36

    I tried all tree options, last being ignore.
    I continued to download the other 2 you suggested with out any drama.
    I did a system restart and then opened iTunes.
    Connected my iPad
    Then message appears:

  • I have tried to update my itunes program. It was running great until I attempted the update now all I get is an error message that says "Itunes was not installed properly, Please reinstall itunes, Error 7 (Windows erroe 126)". What can I do to get my it

    I tried updating my itune program. Now all I get is the following message "Itunes was not installed properly. Please reinstall itunes. Error 7 (Windows error 126). WHAT can I do to get back to where my itunes program is running again?
    I have uninstalled the proram and tried reinstalling and get the same error message. The other error message I get is "The program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem".  I have tried that twice with no luck. Can someone help me get my music back???

    Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
    Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
    Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
    Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
    The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
    Please note:

    The installer should have gone into your Apple Software Update folder:
    C:\USERS\<user name>\AppData\Local\Apple\Apple Software Update

    iTunes 11.1.4 will not install properly - windows 8.1, 64 bit.  The only way I have found to recover is to restore my system.  I have unistalled/reintalled iTunes two times.  No success.  iTunes 11.1.3.8 functions properly (following system restore).  When is Apply expected to provide a workable update?

    Uninstall your existing copy of iTunes. Delete any copies of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer files from your downloads areas for your web browsers and download a fresh copy of the iTunes installer from the Apple website:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
    (The current build of the 11.1.4.62 installer was changed a few days ago, which fixed the bulk of the reports of MSVCR80.dll/R6034/APSDaemon.exe/Error-7/AMDS-could-not-start trouble ... but the build number on the installer was not changed. So we're trying to make sure you do the reinstall using a "new good" 11.1.4.62 installer instead of an "old bad".)
    Does the install with the new copy of the installer go through properly? If so, does that clear up the error message?
    If you still have the same error messages cropping up, then try the procedures from the following user tip:

  • Provider not installed properly & at times Connection not open

    Hi developers,
    I am almost very new to Macros VBA. I did much R&D to fetch data from Oracle database to excel sheet. I don't have any oracle software in my machine nor any drivers related to oracle. I request someone to provide me exact oracle  required drivers
    link to fetch the data. I am running Windows 7 64 bit OS & excel 2010 32 bit.
    I am asking proper required drivers again in the question because, I installed 64 bit 10g Release 2 ODAC for Windows Itanium.
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/windows/downloads/index-090165.html
    Now, my question is, when I run the below script it throws Provider may not be installed properly or connection not open sometimes. I am confused totally on getting the data from oracle database. I don't know what is TNSNAMES.ORA file also & its location.
    Some body please help me, I urge, in completing this fetching task from oracle database.
    Sub Button1_Click()
    Dim Conn As New ADODB.Connection
    Dim RS As New ADODB.Recordset
    Dim Cmd As New ADODB.Command
    Dim sqlText As String
    Dim Row As Long
    Dim Findex As Long
    Dim Data As Worksheet
    Dim X As Long
    Dim UID As String
    Dim PWD As String
    Dim Server As String
    Dim strCon As String
    Application.Calculation = xlCalculationManual
    UID = "myUsername"
    PWD = "myPassword"
    Server = "myServerName" 'This comes from your TNSNames.ora file
    Set Data = Sheets("Sheet2")
    Data.Select
    Range("A:F").ClearContents 'Change A:F to the range you expect data to return to
    Conn.Open "PROVIDER=MSDAORA.Oracle;DATA SOURCE=myServerName;Database=myDatabaseName;UID=myUsername;PWD=myPassword;"
    Cmd.ActiveConnection = Conn
    Cmd.CommandType = adCmdText
    ' Put your query next
    sqlText = " select * from Oracle_Table_Name "
    Cmd.CommandText = sqlText
    Set RS = Cmd.Execute
    For X = 0 To 17
    Data.Cells(1, X + 1) = RS.Fields(X).Name
    Next
    Do While Not RS.EOF
    Row = Row + 1
    For Findex = 0 To RS.Fields.Count - 1
    Data.Cells(Row + 1, Findex + 1) = RS.Fields(Findex).Value
    Next Findex
    RS.MoveNext
    Loop
    Application.Calculation = xlCalculationAutomatic
    Application.Calculate
    End Sub
    I have few cases as below:
    1. When Provider name is changed to "PROVIDER=MSDAORA.Oracle" ---> it throws error as
    Connection not Open.
    2. When Provider name is changed to "Driver={Microsoft ODBC Driver for Oracle}" ---> it throws error as
    [Microsoft] [ODBC Driver Manager] Data Source Name Not Found & no default driver specified.
    3. When Provider name is changed to "Provider=OraOLEDE.Oracle" ---> it throws error as
    Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed.
    I request to please help me from beginning to start this process. I would be very thankful to you. I am struck. Please help me.

    Hi;
    I have applied the note.
    But the system tells me Runtime error! R6034. An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly.
    And then again Provider for SQLDMO is not installed properly.
    I have installed vcredist_x64.exe ande vcredist_x86.exe. I have installed R3dllinst too.
    Could you please advise me again?
