Windows 7 can not recover.

Hi, I bought a Thinkpad T410 (type ID:　2516-CTO)last week. But after I tried to spilt C: (it's 500GB) into 3 separate disk then reboot
Windows can not start up, screen show " Please install windows install disk to recover" but i don't find Windows 7 disk from my ship package.
I tried to press blue "ThinkVantage" or F10 or F12, it still can not work. I feel so depressed, so i called thinkpad warranty service in Chicago(i'm in Chicago downtown now). But they said they do not fix software issues with free...
What should I do? Can you give a advice, show me one road? thanks

if all else fails, use the windows 7 iso from the above to reinstall the windows 7 os. Your windows 7 serial no. on the authenticity sticker is valid for both 32 bit and 64 bit version of OS.
Before resorting to a reinstall, burn and boot that same ISO and use the repair features. That might get you going.

What is the operating system you are working on and what is the particular model of printer that is experiencing the issue? Why am I getting an error message,"windows can not find(my Yahoo mail launch address)"when accessing Yahoo mail site?

Using WindowsXP, and e-mail via Yahoo,browser is Firefox 4.0.I get the following error message when accessing yahoo mail site:"http://us.f831.mail.yahoo.com/dc/launch?action=welcome&yy=1782408664&.rand=0qrsdp1o...Windows can not find(the above address is inserted here).make sure you typed the name correctly,and try again". I tried it again using "save link as", and this time it actually worked! I just now downloaded several more using the "save link as" option, and it works perfectly. Thanks. Problem solved.

Windows can not manage to have different DPI 1080p and 4K screen. However, it is impossible not to have a magnification of 1080p but 25-35% on Dell 4K (P2715Q) intimidate. Windows 8.1 increases on both screens. I have clicked out that it will not change
on both screens, and only on 4K Dell P2715Q.
I have Nvidia GTX 680 and latest drivers 347.88! Windows is 8.1 Pro with Mediacenter.

Reinstalling Mavericks depends on several factors:
if you erased your recovery partition
what OS originally came on your Mac.
I'll assume you don't have a backup available that you made before your mishap, because you didn't mention it.
That's really the take home message here: have a backup!
If you still have your recovery partition:
boot into the recovery partition (command R at restart)
use the recovery partition to reinstall Mavericks. see: OS X: About OS X Recovery
if you do not still have your recovery partition, then it depends on whether your Mac originally came with installer disks or not.
If it originally came with installer disks, you would boot from the installer disks, erase your HD, and then reinstall the OS that is on the installer disks, and then upgrade as necessary until you get to Mavericks.
If your mac did not originally come with installer disks, but you managed to erase your recovery partition, then you can try to boot into internet recovery (option-command-R at restart), and use internet recovery to erase your HD and reinstall the OS that originally came with your computer, and then upgrade to Mavericks if you need to. (the reference refers to ML but it applies just as well to Mavericks).

If the copy of Windows you have is already activated on another machine you may need to install the version that matches your license key attached to bottom of laptop.
If you can read the 25 character Microsoft Windows 7 license key attached to your laptop ,download a Windows 7 ISO file to burn to a DVD for the version that is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker.

In my HELP section on my computer it tells me to...

Touchsmart IQ524 hard drive crashed. Ran Recovery CDs and I get an error Windows can not install on

I have an HP Touchsmart IQ524 which the hard drive crashed. I replaced the hard drive with the exact same model. I run the Recovery CDs (which I purchased from HP website) and it goes all the way through the process and after the reboot I get a message that "Windows can not install software on this hardware" - so it never completes the process. I have formatted the hard drive and bought and returned 3 hard drives. Any suggestions and assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I love recovery disks when they work, and HATE them when they don't.
Fortunately, I have a workaround for you which isn't as good as a recovery disk, but it is better than pulling your hair out, and getting nowhere.
First of all, before you try this, did you perform the recovery with only the keyboard and mouse connected?
Did you buy the same size or larger hard drive?
If your answer to either question is no, then that may be the problem.
Now to the workaround...
If you're up to a slight but rewarding challenge you can make your own if you can read your 25 character Vista product key on the PC.
Just download the 3 files you need at the link below, and read all of the instructions to create a bootable DVD installation disk using imageburn.
Disregard the part of the text under the first screen shot about "extract the files to the Vista folder."
The files were already extracted to that folder when you ran the X14.exe file by reading the text on top of the first screen shot.
The other thing I noticed is on the 4th screen shot, where it shows Developer ID Microsoft Corporation. I had to type Microsoft Corporation in myself, and then the other codes automatically populated.
When I went to compile the ISO file, ImageBurn gave a message that about a WIM file and ISO, and if I wanted to burn it in a different format.
I selected No, make the ISO file.
It was not that hard to do. I burned both the 64 bit disk and the 32 bit disk in case I ever need them.
I tested both of them on my hp dc7100 CMT desktop PC, they worked perfectly.
When you enter the product key, it knows what version of Vista you have.

Windows can not find ' FILE ': error.

I have downloaded and installed the production version of SQL Developer. (1.0.0.14.67)
Windows XP SP 2.
When I started it for the first time I checked all the file association check boxes.
If I double click on a .sql file the following windows error occurs:
Windows can not find '<file>'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To Search for a file, click the Start button, and then click search.
SQL Developer does startup. The error message is closed when the OK button is selected.
Any Ideas?

Hi Robert,
Just to confirm, SQL Developer does actually open the file. The only issue is the error message displayed. I have logged a bug for that.
There is a work around until that is sorted. If you use explorer to associate the file types with SQL Developer, they open without this error.

Sounds quite weird that you can't open profile manager or launch the official Mozilla installer. Probably try to reboot, and to scan for malware?

I have installed a new hard drive but can not recover from the HP 2 recovery disks

My computer: HP Pavilion dv9825nr
Windows Vista Home Premiu. SP 1
My old computer (I have a new HP laptop) had a bad hard drive so I bought a new hard drive - 488599-001, as recommended by HP.
When I try to restore using the diskds I bought from HP, I get an error: 0x400110020000100A.
Windows does not recognize the hard drive and I read somewhere tghat the Vista restore disks are problematic.
I'd appreciate any help you can give me. Good timing for expert day :-)
