Windows 7 Driver for Pavillion 15 P239SA

The notebook came with Windows 8.1 that is really the worst Windows I've ever seen (even worse than Millenium and Vista. Good job MS!). Also, most of my softwares don't work on W8. I've installed Windows 7 but need help with the drivers. Was really surprised to see that even for the USB ports I need drivers. Thanks!

Hi: The HP consumer PC support site is down. When HP gets it fixed, you can use the W7 x64 drivers and software from the 15t-p000 on your model, except the BIOS and firmware files. http://h22207.www2.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-15-p000-notebook-pc-series/6936226/model/7174371 For now, you should be able to use the W7 x64 USB3 drivers from this business model on yours... http://h20566.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=7343213&swItemId=ob_141715_1&swEnvOid=4059

  • I need WinXP audio driver for Pavillion DV6599ee

    Hello.
I installed WinXP on my Pavillion DV6599ee but I can not get the correct audio driver for this laptop.
Can someone please give me a link for the correct WinXP audio driver for Pavillion DV6599ee?
     Thanks.

XP drivers from V6700TX will work for your model. Install Intel Chipset Installation Utility for ICH8 first and reboot before other drivers.
(see below also before continuing with other drivers):

Don't use Mobile Intel 965 Graphics ,you have Nvidia Graphics:

Some of the drivers above require .Net,MS UAA and Windows Installer 3.1 first.

  • Need HDCP-recognizing Bootcamp Windows driver for MacBook Pro's screen

I need a Bootcamp Windows driver for my MacBook Pro 15/Retina (MBR) that recognizes that the MBR's built-in screen in HDCP-compliant.  The current Bootcamp drivers for Windows do recognized HDCP on an external HDMI-connected display, but do not recognized HDCP on the internal display.
BTW, I've read some statements that Windows drivers don't recognize HDCP via DisplayPort connections, so I wonder if Apple is using internal wiring that acts like it's a DisplayPort connection?
Please do not suggest things that only enable disabling DRM HDCP protection from Blu-Ray discs.  I need a solution that to cooperate with DRM HDCP protection for content from live tuners, not from a Blu-Ray or DVD disc.
My application is using Windows Media Center (WMC) to play streaming content from my Silicon Dust HD HomeRun Prime (HDHR3) cable TV tuner on my MBR's built-in screen.  This works fine with an external HDMI-connected (HDCP-capable) display, but I also want to get this working on my laptop's screen for when I'm stuck in bed (illness, bad back, etc.).  The only application Silicon Dust offers for viewing HDHR3 tuner output on Windows (or any platform, as far as I know) which supports all protected cable channels is WMC, and WMC relies on the Apple-provided Windows NVIDIA drivers for HDCP capability.  The NVIDIA Control Panel explicitly recognizes my external HDMI-connected monitor's HDCP capability, but does not recognize the MBR's internal screen has having any HDCP.  This causes WMC to prevent the display of any TV channels at all from the HDHR3 when the only screen is the internal one (and it blocks DRM-protected channels if both screens are active in parallel).
I'm thinking that the best solution would be an NVIDIA driver for the built-in GeForce GT 650M for Windows 8 (or 7) which recognizes HDCP capability via DisplayPort.  Is there anything like that?  Or, alternately, some add-in driver that adds a layer of HDCP capability recognition to the standard drivers?
Is there any currently-available solution?  . . . something that will enable the internal screen to play all the tuner's cable channels including DRM-protected ones (either on Bootcamp'ed Windows or on the OS X side)?
P.S. -- FYI, the only other potential app I've read about for using an external tuner with a MacBook is an OS X version of MythTV, but (a) that requires an excessively long list of geek tweek steps (install an SQL application, create an SQL database, do lots of command-line tweaks, add & configure a backend app and then a frontend app, ... ) and (b) even then it seems it doesn't support channels that aren't marked "copy-freely", i.e., HDCP-enabled DRM protected content.

Strange -- sig's comment seems gone now.  I wonder why.
Anyway, I did try the latests NVidia drivers yesterday, afterall they explicitly say they added HDCP over DisplayPort, but no joy.  In the NVidia control panel (for Windows), external displays via HDMI have a left-menu section for HDCP that explicitly shows it's working, but there is still no such indication for the internal display, and I am still unable to use WMC with HD HomeRun Prime cablecard tuner to play anything on the screen except channels that the provider marks "copy freely" (e.g., Bloomberg news channel 722 isn't playable, but MSNBC 723 is playable).
My guess is that maybe laptop internal displays don't explicitly have internal DisplayPort and HDCP technology but have some kind of exception that normally allows playback?
As an alternative I wish there were cablecard tuner playback software on the OS X side that could play more than "copy freely" cablecard-tuned material, but there doesn't seem to be anything comparable to Windows Media Player that supports that.  (Now it should be clearer why this discussion belongs under MacBook Pro and not under Bootcamp where the moderators moved it.)

  • Cannot extract Window driver for MAC

I have windows installed in my MacBookPro. The problem is I do not have Window driver for Mac. This is the reason why :-
I created a partition of Fat32 (that was my mistake). When I tried to load Windows using BootCamp - it did not work. It is asking me to go to Disk Utility anc conver the partition to Mac file system whcih I am unable to do that. To go round -
I have installed XP in the Fat32 partion without using Boot Camp. The problem is getting the Windows driver for Mac beucase I cannot use the Boot Camp.
Are there any way of getting Windows driver for Mac ?

You need a boot loader and that's what BootCamp establishes.

Note: Just to let you know "INTEL" did not develop a Windows 7 32 Bit Braphics Driver for Notebooks with the
"Pentium N and Celeron N" Processors. You have to run a 64 Bit Operating System on that model.

  • Windows driver for "Multimedia Controller" and sound problem

    Hi
I installed Windows 8.1 using Bootcamp on my Macbook Air (Early 2014, Intel i5).
Then I downloaded Bootcamp drivers from http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1720 and installed couple of them (wifi, intel chipset).
When I check the Device Managmer I still get "Multimedia Controller" in "Other devices" without drivers.
Beside that I think the sound is not working. I installed the Realtek sound driver. When I play sound file the volume bar in taskbar mixer is blinking but no sound is coming out : ).
    Please help.

for multimedia controller if its onboard sound card use this drivers:
    http://download.nvidia.com/Windows/nForce/4.62/4.62_nforce_audio_winxp2k_international_whql.exe
    but based on both:
    multimedia controller
    multimedia video controller
think its external PCI device like TV tuner.
get this one to ID the device: http://www.zhangduo.com/UnknownDeviceIdentifier.exe

  • Installing a driver for the Apple Keyboard in Boot camp windows

I recently installed Boot Camp, VMware and Vista on my Mac so that I could move all of my computing on to one computer (I use a few programs that aren't available for the iMac). In Windows I cannot use the number pad for input - I can only use the numbers just above the letters. This is a major inconvenience because I input numbers often. I have tried to search for the driver for the Apple Keyboard that is compatible with windows, but have been unsuccessful.
Anyone know of a fix for this?
    Thanks!

I tried putting in the Leopard disk and running setup.exe and that went through the motions of installing all of the drivers, but after I restarted the windows machine it still doesn't recognize my keyboard. This may be a system wide issue, because when I work in Windows it also tells me that I do not have a camera installed for video chat. At first I thought this was just part of the price I had to pay to have a Mac and use windows on it, but now I'm thinking that my drivers were not installed properly because I know a camera is installed internally (obviously - its a less than one year old iMac all-in-one).
Can anyone think of something that I'm not doing? I have gone into the control panel in the Windows machine and tried to update my driver, but it keeps telling me that the driver is correct (it has windows driver for a standard ps/2 keyboard).

  • Alternative trackpad driver for windows is coming

creators of powerplan7 (boot camp keyboard backlight disabler) announced an alternative windows driver for the apple multitouch trackpad
sounds so promising. oh lord this is what I've been waiting for since '08.
folks does anyone participate in beta test program? I already wrote an email to them but no response for > 24 hours. I believe they're getting too many emails. so is there anyone who have had a luck to try it out?

I am afraid that the P1102w's driver has been checked-in MS OS, I guess what happened on your Windows XP computers is somehow the driver has been pre-loaded on it. Back to your question on Where can I find the driver for Windows 7 64, there are several ways,
    1. Smart Install printer by printer - when plug-in USB cabel to your PC, the driver installation instruction should be able guide you install the driver
    2. Use the CD in box
    3. Please go to hp.com to download the proper driver for Win7 OS.
    Hope it helps.

  • Facetime HD Windows Driver?

I have a new 2011 Mac Book Pro 15" which has the new Facetime HD camera. The problem is that there doesn't appear to be a windows driver for this device so that it can be used with Bootcamp/ VMWare Fusion etc.
I know these machines are new but has anyone else experienced this and does anyone have a solution or release date for the driver?

I got it working with Skype etc running Windows 7 in Fusion. It's says Driver couldn't be loaded in Windows device manager, however seems to work fine. In Virtual Machine Settings, select USB, then Connect Apple FaceTime HD (Built-In).

I have a HP pavillion zv6000 and recently intalled Windows 7, it works great, updated almos all drivers except the sound driver, does any body can help me to get a driver for W7

Download the xp driver from HP. Then right click on it , properties , run as administrator, then run in compatibility mode for xp2. Should work fine after that.

Not very good advise at all.  Very few, if any, XP drivers will work properly in Windows 7 because there is too much difference in the kernels!

I installed Windows 7 and the device manager informs me that there is no driver for the coprocessor for my Pavillion dv6661se. Where can I locate the driver for it. I looked at the drivers for my laptop but it isn't listed. I don't know where to look for it and the trouble shooter in Windows 7 can't locate it either.
