Hello Littlemand69,
I understand you are getting a BSOD error related to your graphics card. I am providing you with theOriginal NVIDIA Unified Graphics Driver that you should have installed for your HP Pavilion p7-1180t Desktop PC. Please uninstall the driver you currently have, deleting it when prompted and install the driver I have provided here. This should resolve your BSOD error.
Please re-post if you require additional support. Thank you for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

  • Installing Windows Driver Framework.

I've just bought a couple of new servers running Windows 2012, I'm stuck trying to shift a guest Hyper V machine from our old Windows 2008 server.  I can copy the machine over OK, but I cannot get the updated Hyper-V integration services installed.
On running the new integration services, it throws up a dialogue and I can see it updates the HAL, but then seems to be stuck in a loop saying "Installing Windows Driver Framework".  The guest O/S is SBS2008.  I have established that this
isn't just a 2012 issue for me, as see the exact same issue if I shift the guest to a spare Windows 2008 R2 system (running Enterprise).  The source system where the guest is running quite happily and has done for 3 years is 2008 R2 standard.
Worth adding that I also seem unable to add a legacy network adapter, and the guest server is bang up to date with regard to windows updates.
This has stopped my migration dead in its tracks and also given me big doubts over our backup strategy.  Can anyone give me any pointers here please?

    Hi,
    Maybe this is by design.
I search MS article database and I found that Small Business Server 2008 do support to be installed in Windows Server 2008 with the Hyper-V server role enabled or Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2008.
But Small Business Server 2008 is not listed in Windows Server 2008R2 or Windows Server 2012 supported guest operating system list. The support SBS version is Windows Small Business Server 2011 Essentials and Standard version.
You may upgrade your Windows Small Business Server 2008 to Windows Small Business Server 2011, and then you can install integration service. Or you should keep the Windows Small Business Server 2008 in a Windows Server 2008 based Hyper-V environment.
For more information please refer to following MS articles:

  • Windows update causing BSOD in my new B50-30 with DRIVER-IRQL error

Hi folks - I'm really hoping someone else has found a way to deal with a similar issue.
I bought a b50-30 about three weeks ago, and everything has been fine until the latest rounds of Windows updates. During the normal update blue screen, It got stuck (I gave it 24 hours just in case!) on "update 5 of 31", so I eventually had to force restart. That led to a blue screen with the annoying smiley emoticon for a frown, and it claimed to be "collecting some error I fo and then we'll restart for you" but it showed a 0% progress reading, which didn't change during the 12 hours I (patiently) let it run. The specific error message was DRIVER-IRQL-NOT-LESS-OR-EQUAL. Eventually I force-restarted a second time and went into Safe Mode, and the updates appeared to restart and make progress. Eventually the computer started normally again. Victory?
All was fine for a week, and then the bloody thing got stuck on the next round of infernal Windows updates, this time not getting past "28 of 61 updates". When I force restart, I get the BSOD with the same DRIVER-IRQL error message and the same 0% progress reading that won't make progress no matter how long I leave it. Unfortunately, this time, opening in safe mode won't work for me, as it merely brings me back to the identical BSOD screen. Now I have no way to restart the bloody thing at all (other than going for a full recovery, which I'm hoping to be able to avoid). I also tried the "refresh" function, which went through the percentage progress fully, but resulted in the same BSOD. Interestingly, it won't allow me to "restore".
Does anyone have any brilliant advice, other than throwing it out a window and never buying either Lenovo or Windows again?
    Thanks all

    hi Arie,
    Welcome to the Forums.
If you;re able to see the SSD in the BIOS and/or see it under Disk Management while using the stock HDD then you may want to consider the following:
    1. Boot from the stock HDD and update the BIOS
    BIOS Update Utility - Ideapad 305-15IBY, Lenovo B40-30, B50-30, B50-30 touch, E40-30 Laptops
    2. Update the SSD's firmware to  MU02 (latest as of this writing).
    http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/support-ssd-firmware
    3. Using the stock HDD, connect the Crucial SSD and convert the volume to MBR first to see if there's a compatibility using the drive as GPT.
If none of the above methods works then there's likely a compatibility issue with the SSD's controller and/or the BIOS (similar to this thread). In this case, consider using a different brand (e.g., Samsung) and observe.

  • I sent a matrix, its row and column to a child window. However "Acess violation" & 'Memory cannot be reference" error occurs when I try to plot the data in the child dialogue. Why?

    My OS is Win200 professional.
I'm running a data acquisition program. I'd got this main dialog which the user selects the input channel.
The child dialog should show the graph.
I'd initialise all the NI_DAQ configuration in the main dialog class. After acquiring the data, I send the matrix to the child window for it to plot. There is no compilation error.
However when I try to plot the data, Windows complained about Acess violation and Memory cannot be accessed error.
    I'd attached my program below.
    Attachments:
    DataAcqDlg.cpp ‏10 KB
    Ch1Dlg.cpp ‏7 KB

    Wynn:
I believe this problem is occurring because you are using the index operator (brackets "[","]") instead of the functional call operator (parentheses "(",")") in your code to access the matrix.
    SigCh1Vect[i] = SigCh1Max[1,i];
The index operator is not defined for the matrix, because the C++ language does not allow a two-argument overload of this operator. Instead you have to use the function call operator for matrices and remember to use the index operator for vectors.
I believe that what is happening is that the compiler is using one of the defined cast operators on the matrix (operator DataType) to convert the symbol "SigCh1Max" into a double pointer. It then interprets the bracket as it would any array index operation. So the compile
    r effectively sees:
    SigCh1Vect[i] = *(((Real64*)SigCh1Max) + (1,i));
In this case, I believe the comma operator is defined to return the rightmost operand, or "i". Changing your code to
    SigCh1Vect[i] = SigCh1Max(1,i);
should fix the problem. Please let me know if any issues exist after this fix.
In the next release of Measurement Studio, I will recommend that the index operator be defined on the matrix classes, even if it simply throws an exception. The existence of this operator will prevent problems like this from showing up.
    Hope this helps,

  • Windows - No Disk Error - Please help!

Windows - No Disk Error - Please help!
    Hi,
I have the following set up:
    * Lenovo T-61p
    * Windows XP Pro, SP 3
    * HP Photosmart 8250 printer (with nothing plugged into the various card readers, and USB slot in the printer)
I am getting the following error:
    Windows - No Disk
Exception Processing Message 0xc0000013 Parameters 0x75CE023C
    0x84C40C84 0x75CE023C
I have done a lof experimenting and thru process of  elimination, and believe I have determined that this only happens when the HP Photosmart 8250 printer is plugged in to the USB slot of the computer.
I can stop it from happening by safely removing hardware, and removing the drive that the 8250 creates on your computer when you plug it in.  In my case, this is drive E.  I'm guessing if there was something in the the various card readers, and USB slot in the printer, that's what those would be, but I don't those use those functions of the printer.
I understand there is more at work than simply the printer, because I did not used to get this error, so some software changed as well, that is scanning all ports, and finding a drive that has no disk, and producing the error.
A simple google search finds a lot people all over the world having this problem, and are solving it in different ways, because the suspected source is different: Norton, HP, etc.
I have tried everything I have read, and the only thing that works was my own idea, of manually safely removing the drive the printer creates each time I plug in the printer.
Anyone every any better, more permanent solutions?  Or know what the real root of the problem is?  What is scanning all the drives and being showing an error message because it found an empty drive?
    Thanks and Happy Holidays/New Year!

I've been getting the same error on my 4G nano for the past week. I've had my nano for about a month and the first few weeks were fine. Tried it on 2 different computers (Vista and XP) and same problem. Tried it on a 3rd (XP) and it started ok. Problem started coming back after a day.
I was able to find a quick fix though. I noticed that sometimes the message says something like "iexplore.exe... no disk..." even if I don't even use IE. What I do is end iexplore.exe on task manager before running iTunes and syncing my nano. I don't get the error whenever I do this, but one drawback is that the contents of my nano suddenly pops up in a window - even when disk use is not enabled.
I've reset/restored my nano dozens and dozens of times to make sure it's clean. Leads me to believe it's a driver issue. Either that or I have a friggin malware problem I can't seem to find.
I'll be posting updates every now and then. I'm no expert so I'm hoping an Apple expert also steps in to give some input.

  • WINDOWS MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK 4.0 - A required certificate is not within its validity period

    Hello,
I can't figure out if this is because the Root Certificates were updated in April 2014 then apparently expired by Microsoft or if the PowerShell installer signed this file with a bad software release signature??
We were deploying PowerShell 4.0 (Windows6.1-KB2819745-x64-MultiPkg.msu) with ConfigMgr 2012 with a dependency of .NET Framework 4.5.1.  Everything was working fine until sometime around April 24 (exact date unknown).  Now any
Win 7 SP1 machines I try to update will not install WMF 4.0.  They installed .NET 4.5.1 without any trouble..
The digital signature on it it states it was signed Sept 27 2013 and the certificate expires 4/24/2014.
Even if we change the system clock to April 1 2014 it still will not install.. but this shouldn't matter anyway.  They just can't sign new software with that certificate.. surely I can install it..
    As for a log... If I run as C:\Windows\ccmcache\3>wusa.exe Windows6.1-KB2819745-x64-MultiPkg.msu /log:c:\windows\ccmcache\3\broken.txt
    In the broken.txt I see:

Result Code of the update:0X4 HRESULT of the update: 0X800b0101
Install Worker.01243: Failed install update Update for Windows (KB2819745)
Install Worker.01287: Exit with error code 0X800b0101 (A required certificate is not within its validity period when verifying against the current system clock or the timestamp in the signed file.)
WINDOWS MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK 4.0 FOR MICROSOFT OPERATING SYSTEM PRODUCTS
    Windows6.1-KB2819745-x64-MultiPkg.msu
I also see this same event information in Setup event log..
I don’t know what to do here.  Anyone else having this problem?

  • How do I change the language of ADF framework error messages?

I'm a beginner in ADF and JDeveloper and I tried to run one of the tutorials for ADF (Build a Web Application with JDeveloper 11g Using EJB, JPA, and JavaServer Faces).
While clicking through the application I got errors like this one:
ADF_FACES-60097:Pentru mai multe informaţii, consultaţi jurnalul de erori al serverului, pt. o intrare care începe cu: ADF_FACES-60096:Excepţie server în cursul PPR, nr. 1
My question is how do I set the JDeveloper/WebLogic to show these messages in English (in order to have better chances while searching this forum :) )?
I'm not talking about messages that I define in my application, but about framework error messages.
I already set USER_LANGUAGE=en in <JDEV_HOME>\.product.properties, but no luck.
Note that WebLogic server messages are in English (e.g. <Warning> <J2EE> <BEA-160195> <The application version lifecycle event listener oracle.security.jps.wls.listeners.JpsAppVersionLifecycleListener is ignored because the application HR_EJB_JPA_App is not versioned.>), only ADF messages are presented in Romanian.
    Thanks,
    Bogdan

I suspect that these messages are considered "system" ones (e.g. not for the user), so they are not generated in the user's locale but in the JVM's default locale. On Windows machines default JVM locale is taken from Windows Regional Settings. If you do not want to change your Regional Settings, you can try Java system properties "user.language" and "user.country". Try to add the following line to WebLogic domain's <tt>setDomainEnv.cmd</tt> script:
set JAVA_OPTIONS=%JAVA_OPTIONS% -Duser.language=en -Duser.country=USA restrart of the server is required.
In Bulgaria we do not have such problems because ADF Faces messages do not have Bulgarian translation, so they are generated in English regardless of the fact that our Regional Settings are set to Bulgarian.

  • Windows 7 Disk Error

Hi guys - I'm totally stumped. Have read countless threads and various suggestions but nothing has worked. I am at wits end.
    Here goes:
    Macbook Pro 2008, 4,1, 4GB RAM
    250GB Primary HD
500GB 2nd internal HD (SuperDrive removed)
    External USB DVD Drive
    1. Launched Bootcamp Assistant, created Windows partition,
    2. Formatted 2nd internal 500 GB HD to MS-DOS FAT using Disk Utility (prior to this was getting a common 8xxx- error)
    3. Restarted, boot up from external DVD drive with Windows 7 installation disk (retail version),
    4. Set up launches and I have Windows format BOOTCAMP partition (assuming NTFS -- there's no option otherwise),
    5. Set up successfully continues and installs Windows 7,
    6. Set up automatically reboots -- and I get a black screen with:
Press any key to boot from CD or DVD...
    Disk error
    Press any key to restart
And the sysem just hangs until I physically turn off the Macbook via power button. Upon rebooting in Mac OS, I can see that the install has put data on the Windows drive.
I have tried removing the Windows partition via Boot Camp assistant and starting over several times already, each times I get to the point above.
    Please help!
    Thanks --
PS: Also, at what point do I install Bootcamp drivers? When I launched Boot Camp assistant and try the "Download Windows software" I get a message back saying there isn't any. I assume it won't be until later in the process, once the machine boots into Windows?

Forgot to add: running Snow Leopard with all updates.

  • CM1312 NFP: WIndows 7: USB Error message ~"Lost Connection"

With the 1312 connected to my Windwos 7 desktop, periodically Windows gives an error message that indicates that it has lost connection to the printer.  Unplugging and replugging the USB cable fixes the problem.  Otherwise the print & scan functions work perfectly.  Symptomatically it appears as if the printer goes to sleep and stops responding to whatever "keep alive" messages Windows might be sending.  Is there a setting in the printer, in Windows or in the printer driver software that can prevent this message?
BTW, the other way to work around this problem is to just access the printer via the Ethernet but the scan funciton is not accessible via the network (an unfortunate limitation).

    aluniewski,
I am sorry, but to get your issue more exposure I would suggest posting it in the commercial forums since this is a commercial printer. You can do this at http://h30499.www3.hp.com/hpeb/ .
    I hope this helps.

  • ITunes gives "Windows - No Disk error" ***?

Back with version 6, my iTunes decided to unlocate all my songs. It wants me to manually tell it where each one is again. Pain in the *. • Getting "Windows-No Disk" error when try to open itunes

itunes will no longer open. Every time I open it I get a Windows-No Disk error that says "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive." itunes just totally freezes up and I can't access anything. This error makes no sense to me. (BTW, I tried putting in and taking out disks in drives, but no change.)
I think this problem started after I upgrade but can't remember now.
I haven't seen anyone else mention this error so I'm stumped... and very frustrated. Appreciate any help.

I have the same probelm and I think it's also from upgrading to the free 7.1 version of iTunes.

  • HELP! iTunes won't load, gives Windows - No Disk error

    This is so aggravating!
Last week I purchased $100 worth of audio books to put on my iPod for a vacation. Immediately iTunes wanted me to upgrade to 5.0, so I did. That's where the nightmare began.
With both versions, when I click on the iTunes icon (or the menu item), I get the license agreement, click "agree", then wait a moment before getting the Windows - No Disk error telling me to put a disk in "the drive" (it doesn't specify which drive). The message doesn't go away no matter how many times I click, or how fast, (I've gone into the hundreds). The only way I can get rid of it is to go into control/alt/delete and cancel the iTunes.exe process.
I have now spent about 20 hours trying everything I've seen on all the boards. I have uninstalled using Windows uninstaller; I've reinstalled standalone quicktime; I've installed with the ethernet cord disconnected and the USB's disconnected (including external hard drive); I've made sure all firewalls, etc. were off (McAfee, not Norton). I've done everything but voodoo.
I can roll back to iTunes 4.9 but it won't let me access my very expensive iTunes music and books - it just tries to take me to the music store and tells me to upgrade to 6.0!!!!!
    Can someone please help?!

  • Windows drive no longer available at power up with Option key?

I've done a byte to byte copy of a separate disk drive (320GB) that was my Vista x64 bootcamp drive. (In a MacPro) to a new 750GB drive. After I completed the copy process, I pulled out the 320GB drive and put in the 750GB drive. I hold down the "Option" key during power on and expected to see both my Mac drive and my Windows drive boot option. Unfortunately I only see the Mac now.
If I go into OSX I can see my Bootcamp drive on my desktop (Untitled), can open it and see that all my windows files are there. So what am I missing to get my bootcamp drive to show up during the power on Option process?
    Thanks, Rob.
