Windows 7 fail 10.5.8 help please!!!

can open Itunes no problem but if i click on ANYTHING it crashes help please!!!

Lets see whether this file APSDaemon.exe is the problem here.
Close your iTunes.
Press Ctrl-Alt-Del key and choose Task Manager. In the "Processes" Tab, select the file APSDaemon.exe and click End Prosses button, then close the task manager window.
Now open itunes and see if it is working?

Hi. I hope someone out there can help me!! I have tried numerous times to upgrade my HP Envy 15-K204NA from Windows 8.1 64-bit to Windows 10 Home, but it continues to fail with error code 80070714. I am using Bullguard Premium Protection and have Acronis True Image installed. I have disabled SQL services as suggested by other posts on the internet, but nothing seems to work. Hi Mumbodog and thanks for your reply. I have uninstalled Bullguard and tried the upgrade again, but it failed at the same point. I have also removed Acronis True Image and again it failed!! Hi every one i have macbook pro p8600 Dual core 4gb ram 320 gb hdd but for some reason my macbook pro cant run osx any more may be i sound stupid but i am new in this few weeks back suddenly my macbook pro start running real slow and laggy i wont evven open a file i have to wait atleast 10 min if want to open a file or click on something i couldnt even use anything so i thought it might need a clean osx instal so i try to instal snow leopard but still same problem to install an osx took me arround 7 hours but at the end a msg comes set up can not be run try again some thing like that so even i try instal mountain lion but still long wait and system running so laggy then i thought may be its an hard disk fault i even change hard disk and ram as well but same problem
then i boot up windows 7 and that works 100% perfect i tried windowa 8 runs like charm
i can not figure it out what is the problem what just happen to my mac
it wont run osx but can run windows
please need a big help here

When I open itunes I get a 'DATA EXECUTION PREVENTION' 'Windows closed program'. Can anybody help please.

When open iTunes it starts OK then a message from Windows appears, 'DATA EXECUTION PREVENTION Windows closed program'. Then the whole thing shuts down. Does anybody know how to sort this out please. I am using XP operating system and have recently updated iTunes. Thanks

Uninstalling Parallels and Windows XP!??! help please!

ok so i want to uninstall parallels and also windows XP. so my question is do i just drag and drop Parallels into the trash and that will uninstall it or are there some steps i should be doing first please help!!

Drag the parallels icon in the application folder to the trash to get rid of the app and also delete the parallels folder under /Users/<your user name>/Library/. This is the default location where the disk images are stored when you created them.

As suggested, you may need to talk to a sys admin / unix guy or girl.

Print job from Windows hangs in iMac print queue - help please!!!

I have a new iMac core duo and am trying to print to my Epson Stylus CX4600 from Windows. Bonjour sees the printer and sets it up, the print job seems to go just fine, but when I check my G5 (the Epson is connected to the G5) I see the job stopped. If I try to start the job, nothing happens... the only way to clear the Q is to delete the job.
I have all the latest drivers, and have tried bonjour both with generic postscript and with the Epson driver - no luck.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated....

Replacing a hdd and installing Windows 7.... Help, please!!

I am not very technologically-minded.
I have a Toshiba Equium L40 laptop running Vista with a 120Gb hdd.
I thought it might be a good idea to upgrade the hdd and install Windows 7.
Am I right in thinking that the easiest way to do this would be to install the new hdd first [320Gb].
Then install the Toshiba Recovery disc [to install the appropriate drivers].
Then install Windows 7.
Is this the easiest/best way, guys?

If so, from where? And which device drivers?
I would like to install the larger hdd (320Gb). I have already bought one - and I need it for all the media material I have now accumulated.
Would you suggest, therefore, simply installing the new hdd. And then installing Windows 7 (clean install). And then the device drivers?
I was originally thinking of installing the new hdd followed by an installation of the Vista recovery disc - since this would install enough device drivers and necessary Toshiba programmes to enable me to update device drivers thereafter.
I have never done this before. So if my proposed sequence of actions sounds 'bobbins', please excuse me!
[The man in the shop said installing a new hdd and then installing Windows 7 was easy if you knew what you were doing - but not at all easy if you didn't.]

Hello again,
Got a brand new external drive; reformatted to Mac standard, started well then almost to the end of the backup (163.13GB to total of 165GB) it started back to "Calculating Changes" & "Indexing Backup"!

No Installation window SO ANNOYING... HELP PLEASE

Hi I recently bought Adobe PS Elements 10 for my MacBook Pro but can't seem to install it.
My Mac is OS X Version 10.6.8 Processor 2.3 GHz COre 2 Duo
4GB, plenty of memory available
No antivirus
I am connected to broadband internet.
When I insert disc 1 of 3, no window comes up.
When I double click on the DVD icon, there are just files and if I open them, they are just computer jargon that means nothing to me.
I am SOO FRUSTRATED that this doesn't work. The help / troubleshooting pages on adobe are totally useless for this problem.
What do I do?
I don't have the time to be faffing around with computers like this, I expect to pay for a product, and for it to work. SHould I take it back and get it replaced, or is there something missing that I am not doing.

If you are installing Photoshop Elements on Mac OS, use Disc 3.

Mac OS X failed to install! Help please!

I am about to sell my iMac to a friend, and he wants the computer to be like new. A quick Google search led me to wipe the hard drive using Disk Utility, and reinstall Lion from recovery mode(boot holding CMD+R). After it spent 2 or 3 hours downloading Lion, the computer restarted and began installing the OS..
Shortly thereafter, an error pops up:
"Mac OS X can't be installed on the disk Macintosh HD, because a recovery system can't be created. Visit www.apple.com/support/no-recovery to learn more."
The only option then is to restart the computer, at which point it attempts to install the OS again and fails. He has already paid me for the computer, and i dont even have the money anymore! Any help would be awesome.

Windows 8 woes on bootcamp/partitioning/help please!

So, I ordered a copy of windows 8 OEM edition 64bit. I'm on a late 2012 macbook pro 13 inch with mac os x 10 mountain lion.
I recieved it, started up bootcamp did as it said and then when i came to installing windows the partitioned hard drive I'd created (100gb) for windows wasn't useable. Windows 8 said "can't use *bootcamp partition I forget the exact name/perhaps partition 4*. Windows gave me the option to format the drive. So i did. And the drive was then obviously no longer boot camp and has turned into a standard NTFS drive (I'm not that clued up on this go easy on the terminology for me!). In short, I then continued to install windows 8 on a none bootcamp partition.
This installation doesn't have the drivers needed (probably from bootcamp) for use of the macbooks dvd drive or the volume/media/keyboard light buttons it doesn't recognise the wifi card or anything..
So i guess I need to know these things:
1) how do I uninstall windows 8 from that partition and then restore that partition to recreate the whole, original volume? Is there a way of uninstalling windows that means I can use it again (i.e. I don't want to be paying another £60 for the privilage of a new license)
2) how do I do the PROPER bootcamp installation? and what happens if I hit that bit where windows 8 doesn't like the bootcamp partition i created?(i know not to format the hard drive now!)

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
First of all, Boot Camp isn't compatible with Windows 8 because Apple hasn't released Boot Camp drivers for it, so do it at your own risk. If you don't want to break the Mac, install Windows 7.

If you didn't erase OS X, press X key while your Mac is starting to start into OS X, open Boot Camp Assistant and follow the steps to erase the Boot Camp volume.

Open Boot Camp Assistant and follow the steps to install Windows. When you are on the partitioning screen, format only the BOOTCAMP volume and install Windows on it.
Boot Camp Assistant will ask you to download the drivers, but now they are useless for Windows 8

You are in the Using iPad forum. How are you trying to put thses songs and your iPod? Syncing with iTunes? Drag and drop in iTunes?
Is your Apple ID authorized in iTunes on your computer?
