Windows 7 hangs and switches off network access
We are running a Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit operating system as our server.
About on 30 minute intervals the computer hangs and switches off network access.
If the computer is in this state and you try and access it from another computer nothing happens.
While in this state you can see the desktop indicating that it's not in sleep mode.
The problem is rectified by click the mouse on the computer.
It has not gone into a sleep mode as everything on the power options is set to never.

Could you plaese share more information about "switches off network access" with us? I don't quite understand this situation
Please also check the event viewer to collect related information about this issue when you re-use the Windows 7.
Meanwhile, Please update the driver for network adapter or reinstall for a test.

No, there are no apps that can do that, as no app would have access to the necessary API's to perform such a task.

ITunes and Wake for network access
I recently purchased a Logitech Squeezebox music server for the game room. It plays music from my iTunes library remotely (among other things). I set up everything and all is working fine. However, if my iMac goes to sleep, it wouldn't connect. So, I checked the Wake for network access in the energy saver control panel. This also works fine. However, if I have iTunes running on my iMac and wake for network access checked, then the iMac will NEVER sleep. It won't sleep on time out, it won't sleep when selecting from the Apple menu or from the power button. I did some farily extensive testing and if iTunes is running and wake for network access is NOT checked, all is fine.
I don't do any library sharing and have genius turned off. It appears that when iTunes is running, there is something on the network trying to connect to it.
Any ideas?
I am running iTunes 10.2.2 (haven't changed in a while) and OS 10.6.7.Anybody have any ideas?

[Mobile Acc.] VERY slow logout when login on network AND logout off network

I'm installing a macmini server (10.6.6) and want to use mobile user account.
I thought everything was fine so I tried to login and logout with my macbook pro (Snow Leopard).
Unfortunately I detected a pb :
- When I login on network and logout on network everything is fine
- When I login off network and logout off network everything is fine
- When I login on network and try to logout off network, the login is fine but the logout needs about 20 minutes!
I found in the console that the macbook is waiting to re-connect the afp share points.
How can I avoid that?

To import music into your iTunes library on the computer go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Add items to iTunes and follow the instructions
Delete the "songs" that do not play in your iTunes library and reimport them. -

For example, where did you see this term mentioned? It confuses me because the Mac OS has a "Finder window", but I think you're saying that your operating system is Windows 7. And in Windows, the File Explorer is the equivalent of the Mac Finder.
