Windows 7 Home Premium on X200
My X200 came with Vista Business. I wish to install Windows 7 Home Premium. An upgrade from one to the other isn't an option. What's the easiest way of getting all the Lenovo specific software reinstalled if I opt for a clean install?
Is it possible?
You can probably simply download all the Windows 7 versions from the Lenovo Web site. Win 7 by itself will install enough to get you running for the most part.

Windows 7 home premium and windows 8.1 pro op network problem
I have two PC-s, one is with windows 7 home premium and the other one with windows 8.1 pro op system. They are wired via ethernet/ home network. Till I had old Windows XP instead of Windows 7, the two PC-s were connected,
file sharing and device sharing was easy and functioning.
Today it doesn't, windows 8.1 finds the other PC and creating the network, even identifying the different folders on the other PC however as I want to open a file, then loading forever starts, but
on the other side the windows 7 PC is frozen, only the hard switch off helps. ...

Need help reinstalling Windows 7 home premium on HP G62-435DX
My internal hard disk crashed and I followed advice from this forum to use Ubuntu (using live disc from CD ROM drive) to recover data and save to external hard drive. Next, I replaced the internal hard drive with a 500GB internal hard drive. I figured out how to partition the new internal hard drive and get Ubuntu to acknowledge it.
Now, I'm trying to figure out how to reinstall my Windows 7 Home Premium operating system so I can try to get back to normal. However, I cannot figure out how to download Windows 7 to my hard drive using my product key that came with my machine when I bought it. All the download options appear to require you to buy/request Windows 7 recovery discs to run and install on the machine (since I didn't create these prior to my hard disk failing).
Is this really the only way I can use my product key to reinstall Windows 7 to my machine? Also, I cannot figure out how to download the OS from Windows 7 ISO downloads (via Digital River) to my internal hard drive - seems I can only do this by downloading and burning to CDs (which I don't believe I have the right kind - but obviously am happy to buy if it's the best/fastest option). It seems I have very limited options since I had to remove my internal hard drive, which then eliminated Windows 7 from my machine.
Based on these details - I ultimately want to determine the fastest, most efficient way to get Windows 7 OS back on my machine. I'd prefer to download it, but am hamstrung by having to run Ubuntu from a Live CD. Thanks for your help!Here are the specs for your HP G62-435DX Notebook Computer. I'm trying to install iTunes on my computer running Windows 7 Home Premium. I'm not sure if iTunes is compatible with my computer operating system because when I try to install it, it says the installation is completed but it says there was an error so it won't let me get itunes! Can someone please tell me if iTunes can be downloaded and installed on "Windows 7 Home Premium" and if so, how?! I need iTunes asap, I have an iphone 4 running ios 6.1.3. Please get back to mee!!

Natalie.I just tried running the Lenovo Hard Drive Quick Test both in normal mode and in safe mode. Both times it indicated a failed read test on the HDD. The last two tests also failed. I forget what those tests were called.
I am really beginning to think I have a bad HDD and the problem just happens to be in the reserved partition where my factory system software resides. -
Hi all! I was updating the software on i pad to ios6, update was interrupted(apple update server is unavailable...). iTunes Diagnostics shows that "secure link to I tunes store failed". I use Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Can anybody help please?

I have been having trouble installing Windows 7 Home Premium on my 2008 iMac while using BootCamp. It has OS X Mavericks 10.9.1. Every time I try and use bootcamp I come across a blank black screen with a flashing white curser in the top left hand corner after it has restarted. If anyone knows a solution to this that would be great.

Windows 7 Home Premium Crashes in Sleep Mode
Over the last few days my Windows 7 PC refuses to wake up from sleep mode.
My configuration is as follows:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
Asus P8Z77-V-LE Plus Motherbaord (BIOS 0910)
Intel Core i7-3770
Samsung 830 SSD
Corsair Vengence RAM (16 Gbytes)
EVGA GeForce GTX660
I have not made any changes to the machine and I don't think the hardware is a problem as the system does not crash when I disable sleep mode. I try to keep my drivers current and my system clean. Virus scans using Avast, Malwarebytes (on demand)
and Microsoft's own Malicious Software Removal tool all come back clean.
Each crash is recorded in an event log entry that looks like this

Thanks in advance.The DMP file is inconclusive. You could run driver verifier to find the underlying issue but WPR is often easier.
In order to diagnose your problem you will need to download and install the below
Install the WPT (windows Performance Toolkit)

When you have, open an elevated command prompt and type the following
WPRUI.exe (which is the windows performance recorder) and check off the boxes for the following:
First level triage, CPU usage, Disk IO.
If you problem is not CPU or HD then check off the relevant box/s as well (for example networking or registry) Please configure your as per the below snip
Click Start
It will reboot 3 t imes and record the data to a file and tell you its name and location.
Zip the file and upload to us on Onedrive (or any file sharing service) and give us a link to it in your next post.
These crashes were related to memory corruption (probably caused by a driver).
Please run these tests to verify your memory and find which driver is causing the problem.
If you are overclocking (pushing the components beyond their design) you should revert to default at least until the crashing is solved. If you don't
know what it is you probably are not overclocking.
Since it is more likely to be a driver please run verifier first.
1-Driver verifier (for complete directions see our wiki here)
If verifier does not find the issue we can move on to this.

Hi I have a HP Pavillion DV6-1355 dx windows 7 Home premium 64 bit and I have some major issues ,first when I bought this computer I turned it on it automatically connected and downloaded a whole bunch of stuff I am not even sure what all ,my P/N #VM222UA#ABA , S/N [Personal Information Removed] I dont even know what should and shouldnt be on here anymore . It has a sticker in keyboard area at bottom right corner and a windows 7 sticker says Intel Duo core and yet I get troubleshooters refering to Vista ,AMD ,and several other computers .In my device manager it has a bunch of stuff with little yellow gears .I feel it has down loaded my old computers which I dont have but 1 and my current ones which are all windows 7 64 bit . I was gong to scare my husband by starting his prinnter from mine wasnt even sure what I was doing but I do remeber it saying that I would have to be in control over the pcs I cant remember exactly and I also wanted to make sure updates were done because my husband never did them so I thought great they will get regular updates. At that time we had 3 windows xps 1 professional 64 bit,1 hp media center 2005 64 bit and a windows xp home edition 32 bit .I didnt know much about pcs then I sought help but never got it resolved we had a differnt router and i beleave sbc global at time when I did it that computer ended up dieing so I no longer have it but yet I see its hardware listed and I see the AMD listed and SIS and Matrix with dates going back to 2003 and this computer is a 2009 . What I need to know is how to get all the stuff off here that dont belong and the true specs for this notebook we have att now and a cisco E1000 router and I know some how that the stuff from the other computers are on here .Even when I go to the HP support page it will refer to older editions of windows troubleshooters it says under collection information that computer name is LAPTOP which i put down for the other windows 7 with a amd so I could identify the different windows 7 home premiums and I listed this dv6 as laptop .Windows version says 6.1 architecture says amd64. under publisher details it says package version 1.0 publisher Microsoft Windows,network adapter 1.0 Microsoft corporation. Hi, I've an iPad Mini with the latest version 6.0.2, a windows 7 Home Premium laptop and iTunes 11.0.1 (12), but I can't synchronize my music or videos with it. I managed to syncronize my books but thats all.
I also have an iphone 5 and everything seems to work fine with it.
I see all movies and music available to be sync but when I click on the sync button, the process starts, the bottom bar shows an increase in consumed space then nothing happens and the bar goes back as nothing was added.

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS.I've never had this problem before... today I opened iTunes and it prompted me to download the newest version. I use iTunes all the time and have updated it multiple times with no issues. During the installation process it gave me an error message that said:

I quit the installation, uninstalled iTunes and rebooted my computer. I now receive a similar message with a slight difference:

I did not leave anything out from the error message. It doesn't point to a specific file, it just ends with "(x86)..." Every time I boot up my computer, this error message pops up on my desktop.
How do I repair this issue? I have found multiple suggested solutions but am unsure which one is the best, and I don't want to try a bunch of different things for fear I may make the problem worse. I would like to try and fix this myself if possible but I need to know if that is really possible or if I need to take my computer to someone for repairs.
