Windows 7 home premium won't let me install HP Officejet Pro 8500 A909

I've tried downloading Windows 7 drives from HP but I still get and x saying isn't supported by this OS. Is there anything I can do?

I can certainly understand why you'd think it's not meant to work, but it definitely should.
There are drivers available for your operating system and the 8500 Wireless, so please click here to download said drivers and let me know if this seems to work or not.
If not, please try downloading and running the HP Printer Install Wizard and let me know if it works.

You may have to follow the slightly more detailed steps in whichever of these two applies to you.

Windows 7 64 bit won't let me install itunes 64bit!

I have problems with 2 computers.
They are both by Gateway, one of them is a SX series Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, 1 TB, 4GB of RAM, intel i3 Dual Processor, and was just out of the box. The other one is a DX series Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, 1.5TB, 6GB of RAM, Intel i5 Dual processor, and also, out of the box.
The first thing I do is install itunes.
However, in the middle of installing, it said this error:
an error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC80.CRT,type="win32".version="8.0.50727.6195",publicKeyToken="1fc8b 9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="x86".Please refer to Help and Support for more information. HRESULT: 0x80070005.
I clicked okay, and it continuted on.
Just when it finished quicktime, it asked to verify the location of Mozilla Plugins for ntunes.dll or something like that. It won't let me through after that. I tried using other computers what have access through this, but it says that I need administrator permission to do so. However, I AM the Administrator. It is on the 2 computers.
Anyone know what is going on with itunes?

I have no idea what check box you are talking about or how you are trying to open a PDF. This is not the Reader forum where you should be asking this question. However, to set Reader as the default, you should be able to right click on the PDF and select open with, select Reader, and then check the box to always use this application to open a PDF.

Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit SP1 download/install problems

Hi all,
Bought a brand new laptop from an electronics store in Nov. 2010 with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit pre-installed.
All is well with being notified of all avail. MS updates and I am fully patched with all of them....except SP1. I have never been notified that sp1 was available to download and install.
I have tried everything.
Checked "winver" and no sp1 is not installed
Downloaded SP1 from MS website which requires validation (passed validation of course) and tried running sp1 from desktop and get error "Directory name is invalid"
Turned off A/V and Firewall ran again and same result. Burned and .iso of sp1 ran it, same result.
Ran in safe mode..same thing
Ran MS troubleshooter and updates are fine
I have KB976902 installed
Windows Update KB2454826 is installed
Reset windows updates
All drivers are current
ran sfc/SCANNOW no errors found.
Only language pack installed is English
Pls help

Where to Get The Windows 7 Home Premium .iso File for Pre installed OEM of Windows

Hi Everyone, Need help here, please..Here is the situation, i want to upgrade my current pre-installed OS (Win 7 x64) Home premium in my laptop HP ENVY 4-1013tx Notebook PC to Windows 10. I'ts fine in the beginning until it shut down because of heat problem. When i try to turn it on, BSOD appeared. I've try to run in safe mode with have no luck, the same BSOD still appeared.I decided to recover it but no OS was detected in recovery mode. I browsed for many forums and they said that my HDD got bad sector so I remove my hdd from the laptop and attached it on my PC and run chkdsk but didn't solve the problem (chkdsk error : an unexpected error occured).So the last thing I've done was to format the HDD and install a clean Windows 10 and can not activate it without the product key. I trying to install oracle 10g server in Windows vista home premium. but when i am installing, after first screen it is poping up a message of Abnormal program termination "Abnormal program termination.An internal error has occured.Please provide following files to Oracel support.'Unknown',Unknown','Unknown' ".After seeing the message if i continue installation, installation completes, but when i am clicking SQL*plus, no SQL*plus window is opening.

How to access group policy in windows 8 home premium, not 8.1 to disable snipping tool

how do I access group policy to disable the snipping tool in windows 8 home premium? client has not installed update 8.1. client is trying to save pictures to pictures album, but it also saves a screenshot to the documents folder as well regardless

You can disable the Snipping Tool by creating the below registry setting
(save as a .REG file)

I am not aware of any Snipping Tool feature which automatically saves the snip, as a file.

No, to install the Hyper-V manager you need to install the RSAT tools (http://blogs.technet.com/b/schadinio/archive/2010/07/09/installing-hyper-v-manager-on-windows-7.aspx),
and those are only available for Windows 7 Pro, Enterprise and Ultimate as mentioned here

I have 4 computers and an XBOX 360 Elite on my network. I like to keep track of their connection to the network via Network and Sharing on Windows 7 Home Premium. But When I installed the RE1000, the network map told me there is a loading device or incompatible device that doesn't allow the map to open. I also feel that it may be a knock-off! Look at the picture below... It has an external light instead of the Cisco Logo Lighting up. Can someone please clarify this for me. And verify Authenticity of the device? Thank you.

I have erlier used HP ePrint Home & Biz on android so i installed it on the IPAD and HP ePrint Home & Biz have no problem finding my HP officejet Pro 8500 A909G but when installing HP ePrint it just stands there enlessly looking for printers but doesnt find one. HP officejet Pro 8500 is in the list of supported printers

Dlink routers provide Multicasting support disabled by my erxperience.
Try the following steps and then check for any change:
Enter the router EWS page by typing its IP address.
From the top menu click Advanced.
From the left menu click Advanced Network.
Make sure the Multicast Streams checkbox is selected.
Click Save Settings to apply and reboot the router.
Make sure the devices have reconnected and check for any change,
If there still having issues, I would recommend you to update the latest firmware for your router:

Perhaps let's first try updating your Apple Software Update.
Launch Apple Software Update ("Start > All Programs > Apple Software Update"). Does it launch and offer you a newer version of Apple Software Update? If so, choose to install just that update to Apple Software Update. (Deselect any other software offered at the same time.)
If the ASU update goes through okay, try another iTunes install. Does it go through without the errors this time?

It probably has to do with your security and/or browser configuration.
When my laptop crashed last year and I had to get a new one, I dealt with the same thing. First, go to your control panel and select the security section. See if your firewalls are up or not. If they are, turn them off. If you have any software to speed up your browser, that can affect the connection as well. Go into that software and disble/turn it off. If this doesn't work, contact customer support. They have a few other tricks they had me try that worked, but I can't remember them now.
