Windows 7 Laptop as headset with hotsync via Bluetooth.

Has anybody tried using thier Windows 7 computer as a headset for the phone operations on thier Treo? I am wondering why this doesn't work. Does anybody have any idea.
I have finally got my Treo 755p Hotsyncing using bluetooth with my new Windows 7 laptop. And I've got my stereo bluetooth headset working on Windows. But everytime I try connecting with "use this computer as a headset" it connects and then about a minute later it disconnects. My Treo never responds as though anything is connecting.
I have tried pairing my laptop as a headset, but it never shows up in the available devices screen. I assume this is because it is already set up as a connection for hotsyncing.
Is it even possible to have my Windows laptop exist as both a headset and a computer to connect to?

I've never heard of anyone trying this before, but I can tell you one of the problems is that the 755p doesn't have the A2DP BlueTooth profile built into it...
You can add it via Softick.com's Softick Audiohttp://www.softick.com/palmos/ Gateway. They do offer it as a trial version.

I would like to sync my "touch" with iTunes via Bluetooth. This would eliminate the need to plug in the USB cable each time I carry out this activity. it's currently not possible. bluetooth on the Touch supports headsets only.
as for the future, only Apple knows.

If you have not yet done so unpair the car kit from the phone, or better yet reset it completely, Forget the car kit in the iPhone, and pair it anew.

Can not pair iPhone with iPad via bluetooth

Usually, I use my iPhone 5 to control Keynote in my iPad mini. After I updated iOS 8 my iPhone could not pair with iPad via Bluetooth anymore. I have been reset network and all setting but it still be the same. Now I updated iOS 8.1.1 to both device but Bluetooth can not find each other and pair them. How can I do?

You cannot link to another smartphone via Bluetooth from your iPad except perhaps to use the Xperia's personal hotspot (WiFi is supported, but I'm not sure about Bluetooth). If you wish to transfer files or data, that's not possible.

Personal Hotspot is, in fact, the only way to pair your phone & iPad by Bluetooth. File transfer, by Bluetooth, has never been supported on any iPhone.

The iPhone supports only the BT profiles for voice calling and music streaming. You cannot sync with your computer via Bluetooth, you must use the docking cable.

I guess am configuraing the gnubox right because when I go to debug: Test comm channel I get connected with Mrouter for a while ten connection goes out.
but when go >options 2box Bluetooth>serial port :I see my device connected when I click enter a box appear asking if I want to require encryption (whatever I choose Yes Or NO ) I get this set bt registery here with (a followed checkmark) then it dissappear leaving everything as it was before I try and connect.

HotSync via Bluetooth

I ´m a Palm TX and Mac OS X 10.4.8 user. I want to hotsync my devices via bluetooth, but i can´t.
I can share files but it´s imposible to make any hotsync. I always get a TRANSPORT MONITOR error (16).

I just went through many of the messages about hotsyncing using bluetooth. One of the issues is that the palm and the computer need to be paired before they can sync. If for some reason your palm and computer bluetooth are no longer paired, you might get this situation. If they are paired, each should list the other as a "trusted device". If you need more help, I suggest you search for that, since your palm and computer have synced before. It might be that your bluetooth on your computer was updated and the pairing was lost or something like that...
Also there are some versions for which hotsync is to be set to "usb" or "serial port", but the more recent version of hotsync I have can be set to bluetooth once the palm and computer are paired. My advice, run the pairing before you start "hotsync" or exit hotsync, then make sure your palm and computer are paired. then restart hotsync before you do the actual syncing.

1, bluetooth on the iPad is aimed at devices such as keyboards and headphones and isn't for transferring files. The bluetooth profiles that are supported by the iPad (and iOS devices in general) are listed on this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3647

Can't hotsync 755p with Thinkpad via Bluetooth

I upgraded from a Tungsten E2 to a Treo 755p, reinstalled Palm Desktop, and can not hotsync with Bluetooth. The 755p reponds with the "port already in use" (it's not.) I've determined that this is the catch-all response from the PDA when it doesn't get a response from the laptop. Syncing via the USB cable works fine. I have the two paired, and have reinstalled the Palm Desktop twice and done soft resets numerous times all with no effect. I've searched the internet, run through the Palm support pages on initiating Bluetooth response. This worked fine with the E2, but I cannot get it to work with the 755p. I welcome any help on this since trying to fish out a cable all the time is not going to work for me (expecially since it's so difficult to detach the cable from teh Treo! What's up with that?!). Are you sync'ing the new device to the same username in Palm Desktop as an older device?
If you are, this will cause problems on the new device. When you sync the device, it saves the device settings, 3rd party apps, preferences, etc. in the backup folder in the username folder on the PC. When you sync the new device it copies the contents of the backup folder for the old device to the new device. This will cause corruption in the settings for the new device thus causing erratic behavior of the new device.
Looks like you may need to hard reset your device and rename your backup folder. Go to http://www.palm.com/cgi-bin/cso_kbURL.cgi?ID=887 and follow the directions to do a hard reset. Next before you hotsync your data back over you will need to rename your backup folder, to do that go here;
XP
C:\program files\palm or palm one\[hotsync username]\ and rename your backup
folder to backup.old
Vista
Start-->documents\Palm OS Desktop\[hotsync username]\ and rename your backup
folder to backup.old
Then hotsync to your current hotsync name and all your contacts, calendar,
tasks, and memos will come back over.
