Windows 7 loading problem

I had setup new PC for general work purpose. But problem is in my new PC I can't load windows 7 ultimate but windows xp works fine.
First of all I boot windows 7 dvd, then it loads some files but before I getting new window "install now" comes it display go fade. I had tried 4-5 times but same problem. How I install windows 7 in my PC?
Configuration :
Motherboard - MSI 760GM-P23
Processor - AMD Athlon 260
Ram - 2 GB DDR3 1333 MHz

Memtest: http://www.memtest.org
You will have to make a bootable dvd/cd or usb, the website will guide you through the process.
Also, do a scan disk on the hard drive: My Computer > rt click on drive c: > properties>tools> error checking
Did you look very carefully at the dvd and make sure it wasn't damaged? When you re-start, were you able to use the power button or ctrl-alt delete or did you have to pull the plug?
Put a different dvd in the dvd player and make sure it is working, ie watch a movie for 15 mins.
If everything checks out fine:
Here is a link to download windows 7, try downloading and making a new dvd, usb or running from windows.

  • Windows loading problem

    Hello guys
i purchased today a dvd writter and when i installed it the pc doesnt load windows.
it stucks at the bios screen.
    Any suggestions?

Some of the later CD-RW's and the relatively newer Tech of DVD-R's/RW's also can be a bugger to be initially detected automatically by the system and can stop Windows fully Booting :(.  Have you also gone into the BIOS and either Auto Detected the new Drive or manually set the parameters as required too???
It generally doesn't matter if an H/D or CD/DVD drive happens to be in the Primary or Slave role either, as long as the Jumpers are set correctly accordingly too, but obviously it is recommended that you Slave an ATAPI Device through an IDE rather than the other way round if possible.  Sometimes you can't and have to Slave an IDE through an ATAPI if you may have insufficient space, or even due to remaining Cable Lengths being insufficient depending on the actual layout of some Cases in use too lol!!!
Otherwsie it's not out of the realms of impossibility that the new Drive is actually faulty too :(!!
Hope ya sorted soon though !!

  • Windows 7 problem loading  CS4ext.

Hi. My problem started when I decided to use Windows 7 Home Premium and Photoshop CS4 Ext, .upgrading from XP Home and CS2. Prior to loading these I reformatted my HDD's etc using an 80GB drive for C:// and  repartitioning a 320GB drive to 150GB and 150GB.  Windows 7 is on the C: drive, but now I cannot load the Adobe PSCS4 ext. DVD disk.  Each time I try it comes up with Access Denied. I am not too well versed in software and wonder if anyone can sulpply a solution.. I know there are some compatibility problems with some older programs. Thanks .

Have you tried opening the DVD in Explorer, navigating to the 'setup.exe' folder, and right clicking on it to run it as administrator?
    This might work.

  • GTX670 - Signal lost/black screen after windows loading icon

    Hello,
I hope I am posting this in the correct forum area.  If not I do apologize.
    Here are my specs:
    Board: MSI Z97-G45 Gaming
Bios: ?? whatever pre-installed on mobo
    VGA:   MSI GTX670 OC
    PSU:   Corsair HX750 750W
    Intel Core i7-4790K
    MEM: 12 GB Kingston HyperX DDR3 1600 2x 4GB, 2x 2GB sticks
HDD: SSD Kingston 120 GB (Win7), HDD 1 TB WD 7200 RPM (Win7), HDD 1.5 TB WD 7200 RPM (storage)
COOLER: Corsair Hydro Series H60 Water Cooler
OC: no overclocking done by me..default settings
    OS: Windows 7 64bit Professional
So to keep this as direct and as short as humanly possible here is my situation.
Had a gtx670 card that I had to send back to MSI under RMA.  They sent me what looks like a new gtx670 card (no dust) that I received yesterday (4 Aug).  Last night I removed temporary old card (9800gt) and plugged in new 670gtx.  Things seemed to be ok, reinstalled driver after card was recognized.  Played one round of Battlefield 4 for testing purposes and all seemed good.
Upon exiting the game things went south in a hurry.  Moving the mouse cursor around was extremely slow and choppy.  Mouse clicks were not recognized.  I could not bring up ctrl-alt-del to get to task manager.  At this point the cursor turned to spinning circle as if things were happening.  However, after 5+ minutes of nothing changing I did a hard boot.
Restarted and after the windows loading screen the signal appeared to be lost to the monitor and I was left with black screen.  This was with the SSD.  I then attempted to load into the HDD windows OS that I hadn't logged into yet with this card and was greeted with the same issue.
I can load into Safe Mode with no issues.  In safe mode I removed all nvidia drivers and was then able to load into windows normally using basic windows vga drivers.  The moment I load the Nvidia drivers and restart the computer I then have the issue again.  This happens with both drives.
I have reset the video card in the PCI-Ex16 slot and still received the problem.  I have tried a different PCI-Ex16 slot and still had the issue.  I put the old 9800gt card back in and windows loaded perfectly and without issues on both drives.  I put the 670gt in and try to load into normal windows and I lose signal and get black screen after the windows loading screen.
I'm at a loss at the moment.  I think it's the drivers, but could it be the card?
Doing some research I've come across some people saying there may be issues with the nvidia HD audio drivers that are installed with the video drivers.  Could it be as simple as uninstalling or unchecking that particular driver?

Flashed the BIOS last night to the latest version and attempted to launch windows with the GTX670 card.  I still experienced the same issue where as soon as windows finishes it's loading animation (with Nvidia drivers) and it goes to the login screen, the monitors cut out.
At this point I feel like it has to be the card.  The moment I install the video drivers and restart, I have the problem of losing the signal/black screen.
    What I have done:
    1) Completely wiped any/all video related drivers from the computer and started from scratch. No success.
    2) Ran Memtestx86 to see if it's a problem with my memory sticks. No problems found.
    3) Put the card in a different PCI-Ex16 slot to see if there was a problem with the slot. No success.
    4) Flash updated the BIOS on the motherboard to the latest version. No success.
I have a dual boot computer with Windows 7 64-bit installed on an SSD and a HDD.  The problem happens on both drives.  Yet, the moment I install my old 9800GT the problem disappears and I can login to Windows just fine.
I will be sending the card back today on another RMA.

  • Windows Load Balancing 2008 R2 Server, in Multicast Mode

    Hi,
We are experiencing a problem setting up windows load balancing with (NLB) IIS . The selected mode is multicast , however after we setup the NLB cluster IP , we cannot ping it outside the OracleVM infrastructure. This applies as well if we try to access it from another VM inside OracleVM.
We can access the private IP's however the cluster IP does not respond when the cluster is in multicast mode.
We have programmed the switches which are layer 2 for static ARP mappings on all connected ports.
    Still the problem remains
Does oracle VM 3.2.1 support NLB clustering for IIS servers in multicast mode?
is there any setting that we need to adjust so that the mac of the cluster responds to requests from physical hosts connected to the OracleVM network ?

  • PSE 12 trial version - loading problems

I have been trying for 3 days to load the 30 day trial of PSE12 on my new computer. My computer is loaded with Windows 8.  I have encountered problems over and over again with loading PSE12, but never the same problem.
For example: after one download the start menu would open but it wouldn't go to the organizer or editor.  So I deleted that program and re-loaded it BUT -
then , it went straight to the organizer - and froze, so I clicked out - tried to click back in, and NOTHING> >> not even the start menu.
THIS IS SOOO FRUSTRATING! Makes me really second guess whether I should purchase this or not
    Please help!!!

I think it said error 101, but not totally sure that I recall it
correctly.  I deleted everything and reinstalled and then it  worked.

  • Adobe Captivate 8 projects published to HTML 5 shows major loading problems and stops

Adobe Captivate 8 projects published to HTML 5 cause major loading problems in most browsers(IE 11, Chrome v. 35.0, Firefox v. 31). Loading… (screen)
The view stops after a while and only the Loading… (icon) can be seen on the page.
Is this a known problem with Captivate projects published to html5 and is there a way to fix it? What is wrong?
Test the html5 version of this project at: http://kurs.dokker.no/captivate/
and see for yourself what happends.

I changed the Preferences/Project/Start and End  Preloader % to 25 and published the projects again. The course: http://kurs.dokker.no/captivate/elev/
stopped like before on one of the first slides, loading… screen like before in IE11.
In Chrome v. 37.0 the course worked badly, would not run, sound missing and buttons not working.
In Firefox 31.0 the course worked to a degree even if the program was advising to use another browser for this content.
In Opera 23.0 sound was missing and else working as bad as IE.
All this testes is done on a PC using Windows 8 connected på internet via ethernet, download speed: 66.57.
I would like to use the HTML5-format since it has a cleaner view than swf-files that appear to be jagged, but there is a lot missing before Adobe Captivates html5 publish is where it needs to be. Her are the complete html5 course and here are the swf based course for comparison.

  • Windows Startup Problems in Bootcamp - 2013 iMac

I installed windows 7 via bootcamp and all seemed to work out well.
But then I downloaded and installed the windows updates and this forced my iMac to restart a few times.
It seems like sparatically on restart it either boots right into windows or before windows starts to load it gets hung up on a white/grey screen. (the iMac is still defaulted to startup windows I haven't changed that yet)
So in the latter scenario I have to hold the power button down to shut off the iMac and then restart and then it loads windows properly.
Is this a common problem or does it sound like something might be wrong?
Maybe something with my bootcamp is wrong?
This is my first imac so maybe it's a common thing?
Any help is very much appreciated.
    Thanks.

It will make the startup 'bong' and then proceed to show me the Windows loading screen, but then a blue screen with white text flashes briefly and then the screen goes black, and it restarts. This loop does not end of its own volition.
A quick explanation of what's going on, first. What you're getting on start up is a traditional Windows "blue screen of death" or BSOD. (Technically, it's known as a STOP message.) But your XP is currently set up to restart when it gets one of those errors. Since you're getting one when you start XP, you get that constant restarting behavior.
First we need to switch off the "automatically restart" system setting.
Next time you start XP, tap your F8 key repeatedly. That should bring you to the Windows advanced options menu. Select "Safe mode."
Does XP launch in safe mode? If so, right-click "My Computer" and select "Properties". Click the "Advanced" tab. In "Startup and Recovery", click the "Settings" button. Uncheck "Automatically restart" and click OK.
Now attempt to restart XP normally. When the blue screen comes up this time, note down the numnerical and text codes that come up (ie 0x<zeroes-letters-numbers> CAPSANDUNDERSCORES). If the blue screen also mentions a specific file, note that down too (exact spelling please, including filename extensions like .sys or .dll).
Post back to let us know that information, because that may help narrow in on the cause of the BSOD in your particular case.

  • Computer stuck on Windows loading screen

I did a recent windows update earlier today and had a sudden reboot of my computer. Now I cannot get past the windows loading screen on Windows 7. I can only use the pc on safe mode. Sadly System restore is not turned on and cannot be turned on in safe mode and OneKEY Recovery says driver not initilizied.
Is there a way to fix this problem?
    THanks

    Welcome to the forums!
When you open windows update look for the date on which you installed those patches and un-install them..does that help?
    Cheers and regards,

  • Why does pogo hearts game window load very slowly

I ave Vista and the latest versions of Firefox and Java.
I had no problems with the previous Firefox version.
It was 9.0 or something like that.
In fact I would like to go back to that version .
When I play Pogo hearts the game room loads but,
the game window loads very, very slowly.
I get booted out before the game starts.

I have firefox 3.6.12 as well, but windows xp pro, sp3. plus : comodo internet security free. I took NoScript off and all my add-ins.
Firefox used to load in less than 5 seconds on startup and/or reboot. Now it takes up to 30 seconds to load. Once Firefox has been run once since it's first run in a Windows session, it loads fast (3-5 seconds) like it used to.
I completely removed Firefox, deleted the mozilla folder, did a fresh download of firefox 3.6.12 and installed it. NO add-ins except Adobe Acrobat and the ones that come with a fresh download of Firefox.
Still WAY slower than it was with previous versions.
I really liked the old Firefox. And I was running Comodo Internet Security Free then too. And I removed that and re-installed a fresh version. Nothing makes it start up the first time in a reasonable amount of time like before.
    What gives??????

  • T60 Freezing on Windows Loading Screen

Hi, first off, I am running 32 bit Vista on my T60.  My type is a 2007-73U model.  I ran the ThinkVantage Updater program and got the latest drivers for all devices.  My BIOS is also up to date.
My problem is that, when doing a cold boot or a restart, Windows gets to the loading scroll bar and does not start scrolling.  It just hangs there indefinitely.  It ends up taking between 5-15 reboot attempts to get it to actually load Windows properly.
I have tried this without any USB devices connected and without the battery (in case it was a power kind of thing).  I also reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled Windows Vista and this problem still occurs (even after updating all drivers).
The curious thing is that it does not happen when I hibernate instead of restarting/shutting down.  Windows loads every single time perfectly.  This is what is confusing me: what is different in the boot sequence from hibernation and a cold boot?  The drivers are still going to have to be loaded, correct?
My machine is perfect operational after it successfully boots up as far as i can tell.  Does anyone have any suggestions on what may be amiss?

what anti virus software do you have... this happens in my Vista os all the time, especially after certain update from microsoft, i just can't seem to pin down which update that is exactly causing the problem...

  • Neo 2 Plat Windows loading screen freeze

    Hello all,
I have a little problem with my MSI Neo 2 Plat. I have a FX-53 + a 5900 Ultra. Everything works flawlessly beside one point.
Sometimes, when I boot/reboot, the screen freezes on Windows loading screen. It only happens like one time out of 10. But when it happens I have to reboot then I get the safe mode selection screen. It's not a major issue but it's a bit annoying. Anyone experienced something like that ? Would it be caused by video card ? I thought about a ram issue but after memchecks and torture tests with Prime95, I found no error !
    Help please !

  • Windows loads and restarts loads and restarts!!!

recently I had a problem where I could not increase the partition size on my boot camp disc. I had to re format my entire hard drive and reinstall osx and then boot camp.
When I installed bootcamp everything worked fine well I thought. under boot camp... windows loads up. and within a few seconds of it finished loading, it automatically restarts and does it over and over again. I can't stop this from happening.
FYI... it did this one time and I reloaded windows and the same thing happened again!
    Please help!

Hi! I had read about your problem before I installed so I was waiting for it! I have just installed a licensed full OEM version of Windows XP with SP3 included on the single disc. Sure enough it started reloading everything as you noted. Rather than stop it I waited until it asked me where I wanted to install it and I chose my previously formatted 60 GB NTFS partition. It then told me there was something already installed on that. I had the open of reinstalling or quitting. I chose Quit and restarted the computer. Seems all OK. I have since connected to the internet and mail and have "Activated" Windows. I guess you have sorted this out by now but if not hope it helps! (Please note I have not downloaded Bootcamp 2.1!!

  • Satellite P100 - 429 A3 Turning off when windows loads

Heya. This is a serious problem that has rendered my Notebook unusable. I was just wondering if anyone knows what it is.
I was in a source game when it happened for the first time, I jumped in the game and the laptop just cut out. No shutting down, it just turned straight off as if someone had held the power button. I stared at it for a minute then powered it back on. It seemed to go fine, I thought it was just an odd hiccup, but then after it had finished the windows loading screen, it did exactly the same thing. Now every time I start up, it get's past the loading screen and sometimes it get's to the Welcome message, soemtimes before the cursor is even loaded it will turn off in the same mannor.
The only things I have recently changed is the BIOS (which is my obvious suspicion.) I was just browsing the Toshiba website drivers page and I found a BIOS update for my Notbook cliaming that it had been improved. So I downloaded and installed it, once the installation had done it's job the Notebook restarted, but on first run Windows bluescreened before it had even loaded. Then after that it was working fine until now.
I also tried to use a Windows disk to do a recovery of windows. However, the recovery console caused the same thing. Within a few seconds of initializing, the computer just cut out.
If anyone has a clue what's goind on, please let me know.
Sorry for any typos, I'm not on a familiar keyboard.
    Thanks again.
    Wolfy

    > I jumped in the game and the laptop just cut out. No shutting down, it just turned straight off as if someone had held the power button.
Well, this sounds like an overheating issue. Fact is that all internal devices run with a full performance during the game playing. This leads to a high temperature inside the notebook. If your ventilators are not free due to the dust and debris then the notebook will shouts down to prevent the hardware from damage.
In such cases the fan cleaning is necessary and advisable.
I have had a similar issue on my notebook and solved it using an compressed air spray!
In my knowledge the Sat P100-429 belongs to the PSPA3 series.
You should really be 100% sure that you use the right BIOS.
However, its also possible that the notebooks hardware malfunctions.
In such case the hardware check is needed. Such test can be done by an authorized service provider in your country.
    Good luck
