Win 7 (RTM)
SB X-Fi ExtremeGamer
Beta Driver 2.8.003
SB X-Fi SupportPack 2 installed.
Everything thing else works perfectly. SPDIF optical, full 5., all output is excellent.
Line in, Mic, and Aux channels seem dead. Recording or "listen" seems to have no effect. Different inputs, line level/mic level seem to make no difference.
Any help is appreciated.

- Have you tried setting one or the other here?
If you have it set to mic, you wont get a line-in signal and vice versa.......

How are Windows Server Backup and Command Line Tools used during the installation of vCSHB? Is it required in all types of deployments (PtoV, VtoV, PtoP)? Is it used to create the files that are put in the file share for the second node to use during vCSHB installation or is it only used during a vCSHB clone operation of a Physical to Physical deployment? Are these tools not used in some deployments?

You need Windows Server Backup installed on source and destination, and during the installation of vCSHB the installer will invoke the wbadmin (Windows Server Backup Utility) and will backup configuration and application data (application data is optimal but can decrease the sync time after installation of secondary node). On the secondary node you will need only run the vCSHB installer and everything will be restored.

SAPScript: why the window only show the LAST line

Dears,
In my form, one of the window only show the LAST line of the it.
I have set the window enough space, also when debuging the program , open_form, write_form,
all of those sy-subrc = 0.
both static texts and dynamic texts are set in the window, but only the last line shown.
Anyone could help me?

Hi,
There are several possibilities to resolve your problem.
You can work with 2 main windows on in1 page.
With NEW-WINDOW you switch to the next main-window
How to use it.
make an item in main window with that /: NEW-WINDOW command
if you are ready with first loop call a WRITE_FORM with that NEW-WINDOW statement.
to cojntinue in the other main.
Other possibility is. (in case there are not ot many lines)
Use for every line other variable names.
Fill these in the loop. And after loop WRITE FORM
eg. (if maximum is 3 lines)
&VAR1_1& &VAR1_2& &VAR1_3& &VAR1_4&
&VAR2_1& &VAR2_2& &VAR2_3& &VAR2_4&
&VAR3_1& &VAR3_2& &VAR3_3& &VAR3_4&

Due to the Tag I assigned to it, I can always refer to this object. So let's say I want to set a new position for my Pics, but because of the rand()%2 I do not know, which Pics are created, and which not.

Help - Need Line in and Aux inputs active at the same time..... Audigy SE

The company I work for purchased 3,000 of the Audigy SE? SB0570 sound cards to replace our aging original SB6 PCI cards used in our call centers. The application and Hardware require that the AUX connector and the Line in connector are both acti've at the same time in order for things to work properly.
Problem is that when I go into the mixer settings (or windows volume controls) when I select one of the inputs to go acti've, it mutes the other two inputs (mic, line-in, or AUX). Does anyone know of a work around to let me activate the AUX and/or Line-in/Mic at the same time??
Our workstations run Windows 2000? (but as a test, I?loaded up another PC with XP SP2 and it exibits the same problems)

We are using the internal AUX in connector to take audio from a vendors custom card, and at the same time we have to take audio in on the flexi-jack input on the rear of the card. The original SB PCI cards we have been using for 5 years allowed us to do this, but these new ones do not. I wrote an e-mail to Creative Tech support and here is their response: Basically it is a no go, so I am now looking at other manufactures that can support our requirements. Good news is that I contacted our supplier today and they are willing to take back all of the cards that are still sealed in their original packaging... about 2,800 of them.

CS6 Bridge Under Windows 8 Slow Response

When I use CS6 Bridge in Windows 8 (64 bit) it takes about 10 seconds to open a folder. I select an image from the grid and press the spacebar to see it full size. It takes another 10 seconds. If I go to the Menu Bar and click on an item such as Window it takes about 10 seconds to get the drop down list, but if I then slide the cursor over to View and click on it, the menu appears right away and if I then click on Full Screen Preview, the full size image appears immediately. When I check the Widows Resource Monitor there is no unusual activity occurring during these 10 second intervals. It is as if the program is in a wait state pending some event.
When I was running CS6 under Windows 7 (32 bit) everything worked fine. When I run CS4 Bridge on Windows 8 (64 bit) it also runs fine. I have purged the cache, and increaed cache size but to no avail. My system has lots of processing speed, memory and disk space.
Does anyone know what I could do to get CS6 Bridge running correctly in my Windows 8 environment?   Is it possible that there is some kind of incompatibility with
Bridge, Windows 8 and the GPU?

Surprisingly the bit about trying it under a different or new user actually works here. All the aggruvating 5 to 10 second long freezes disappear when used under a fresh account.
Ok, so how can that be parlayed into being able to use Bridge CS6 under my own account?
Does the fact that it works as expected under a new fresh account point to something particular that needs changing or adjustment under my regular account?
The Adobe staff person seems to think it is most likely a problem of (lack of) updates or incorrectly installed updates, but that would not have any bearing if changing to a new account fixes the problem would it?
PS - How does one run in Vista compat mode?

Can I open multiple tabs in Firefox when WINDOWS starts up? Command line limits to about 204 characters...

I know how to configure Firefox so that it opens multiple tabs every time you open ''Firefox''. I want it to open multiple tabs when I start ''Windows''. Or in other words, I don't want to connect to multiple web pages every time I open a browser, just the first time I log on for the day.
I tried appending the web sites in the command line of a Firefox shortcut in my Windows Startup folder. The problem is that in this approach, you're limited to as many URL's as you can type in about 204 characters ('C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe' uses up 52 of the 256 characters available in a shortcut).
Is there a way to open more tabbed web sites than that?
What would be cool is if there was something like a FFstartup.ini file or something, where you could provide a list of websites as long as you want, and it would open them all. So, the command line would look like:
'C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe' 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\FFstartup.ini'
...and the FFstartup.ini file would look like:
[Startup]
'http://www.yahoo.com'
'http://www.google.com'
'http://www.firefox.com'
etc...
If there's no current way to do this, how would I make this suggestion to be developed?

Use a .bat or .cmd file to start Firefox if you need more space than the target line in a shortcut allows.<br />
Separate the URLs with spaces.

Opening the OAF page in New Window on the responsibility list page

Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement where in I need to open the page on a new window.
I have created the page,and attached the function to the menu,and attached the menu to a responsibility.
When a user clicks on the responsibility it shows a list of fuctions available with the appropriate prompt.
My recquirement is to open the page in a new window when a user clicks a function on the responsibility page.
Is it possible to do so?If yes how?If not any document supporting this limitation.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

This is not possible. However you can open the second page in the flow in a new window by setting Target Frame property to _blank.

How to limit the size of the main window width according to the line items?

Hi,
       In my requirement,I created one page with main window....Suppose say main window can accomodate 40 line items.
      I am getting 5 pages data.And in my last page ( ie 5'th page ) I will have only 20 line items.But for the remaing 20 line items,
     it showing empty area .I created widow with borders and one vertical line between the columns.....I created two columns.
     Please I dont want any horizontal lines between the line items but I created one vertical line between the columns..
       Any right help would be appreciated.

One way is to periodically (say every week) create a new file to store the actions and then, when the space taken up by all the files is too large, delete the oldest one.
You can also have your application periodically (say the first time you write to the file on any calendar day) check the size of the file and, when it gets too big, copy all of the actions in the file after a given time (presumably there is an associated timestamp with each action) to a new file. Then delete the old file.

Printing on cp1518 from Windows 7 photo viewer creates lines across print

When I click on a jpeg it opens in Windows 7 photo viewer. If I click on print, and select the HP universal print driver PCL 6, to print on an HP 1518, I get the print but with thin lines spaced about an inch apart, running the lengh of the print.
If I do the same print on my inkjet, the lines do not appear.
I should mention that I'm using HP photo paper.

Just noticed the last line of your post about using HP Photo paper.
Before switching the driver, make sure you are selecting the correct paper type in the print driver when you print on the Photo Paper. The printer cannot automatically detect the paper type loaded in the tray. For example, when you click Print, a print dialog will appear, choose the Preferences or Properties button in the dialog. This will open the print driver Printing Preferences. Click the Paper/Quality tab and find the Paper Type drop down and choose the appropriate paper type or the closest match.
Also make sure your HP Photo Paper can be used on LaserJet printers. If it is InkJet only don't use it on LaserJets. The package should tell you if it is safe for LaserJets. LaserJets use heat to fuse the toner to the page.

Have keyframes in effect controls window coincide with main time line

Hello,
Is there any way I can have the time line in my effects control window coincide with my main time line ?
Example, I add keyframes along my main time line, but any time I wish to edit them, I need to scrub my effect controls window timeline to get to that
spot that coincides on the main time line. I'm just wondering how I can have both time lines show the same area at the same time.
So if I'm at the end of my time line, and add a keyframe, and then wish to just scrub or move my cursor to the beginning of my main time line, the
time line in the upper window ( effects control window ) does not reflect the area of the main time line I am currently at, I need to actually click the time time
line ( main time line ) in order to "refresh" the upper effect control window time line.

Making bat file in Window Mobile - Oracle application command line

I have Windows mobile 6.I have installed Cre-ME+, & command line.In the command line we need to type below command & execute to load oracle Mobile Application.

This is working fine.
But proble is making bat/cmd file to excute this application, without type each & everytime.
I know that window mobile won't support bat/cmd file extension. But there may be any other ways.

We use a third party application (AppCenter) on our Motorola devices. It's a lock down tool that can present only specific application to the user, and can auto-launch the command line (<filename.lnk> in our scenario).

Windows Media export has horizontal lines

Hello,
I am exporting a video with basketball footage in it and am trying to do a windows media export. Unfortunately, no matter what i do to the settings, I get these horizontal lines in the video when there's a lot of action/movement. Any idea what this might be and how it could be fixed?

Depending on the encoder you are using, you can create interlaced WMVs.
Deinterlace the movie before you pring it into your encoder. You cna export a reference movie or nest the sequence and apply a deinterlace to the nest. Render, export self contained.
