Windows 7 problem loading  CS4ext.

Hi. My problem started when I decided to use Windows 7 Home Premium and Photoshop CS4 Ext, .upgrading from XP Home and CS2. Prior to loading these I reformatted my HDD's etc using an 80GB drive for C:// and  repartitioning a 320GB drive to 150GB and 150GB.  Windows 7 is on the C: drive, but now I cannot load the Adobe PSCS4 ext. DVD disk.  Each time I try it comes up with Access Denied. I am not too well versed in software and wonder if anyone can sulpply a solution.. I know there are some compatibility problems with some older programs. Thanks .

Subject: Windows 7 problem loading  CS4ext.
Have you tried opening the DVD in Explorer, navigating to the 'setup.exe' folder, and right clicking on it to run it as administrator?
This might work.

    Is anyone having problems loading the newest version of iTunes (10.6.3) using Windows Vista? My current iTunes program version 10.6.1 keeps telling me there is an update but when I try to load it the information box goes away and nothing happens.  I have tried downloading the new version from Apple web site but it brings up a warning screen of " iTunes setup.exe is not commonly downloaded and could harm your computer." I select the action of run anyway and get the next error "iTunes Setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application."  What Gives?

  • Problem loading generated (X)HTML in Internet Explorer dialog window

    Hi,
    Using JDeveloper 11.1.1.4.0.
    In our ADF application we are providing a preview functionality to letters that the users can generate. The preview XHTML code is generated by stored procedures and displayed in a dialog window as an iframe. This works fine in Firefox but in Internet Explorer there is only a spinning blue circle where the iframe is supposed to be and the preview is not loading. If I copy-paste the preview URL to a separate IE window it loads up correctly, so there is something wrong in the way the dialog window tries to display the data.
    This is the preview JSPX page:
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
    <jsp:root xmlns:jsp="http://java.sun.com/JSP/Page" version="2.1"
              xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core"
              xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html"
              xmlns:af="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/faces/rich">
      <!-- jsp:directive.page contentType="text/html;charset=UTF-8"/ -->
      <f:view afterPhase="#{backingBeanScope.RenderBean.checkPhase}">
        <af:document id="d1" rendered="false">
          <af:messages id="m1"/>
        </af:document>
      </f:view>
    </jsp:root>The preview page is embedded as an iframe on the dialog window:
    <f:facet name="center">
                <af:inlineFrame id="if1"
                                source="/faces/ActualTemplatePreview?messageTemplateId=#{pageFlowScope.MessageTemplateId}&amp;isOpenTemplate=#{pageFlowScope.IsOpenTemplate}&amp;messageText=#{pageFlowScope.MessageText}"
                                styleClass="AFStretchWidth"/>
              </f:facet>And this is the backing bean:
    public class RenderBean{
        public RenderBean() {
            super();
        private BindingContainer _b(){
          return BindingContext.getCurrent().getCurrentBindingsEntry();
        public void checkPhase(PhaseEvent event){
            if(PhaseId.RENDER_RESPONSE == event.getPhaseId()){
              final ResponseWriter writer = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getResponseWriter();
              try{
                final Object xhtml = _b().getOperationBinding("GetXhtml").execute();
                writer.append(xhtml.toString());
              }catch(IOException e){
                throw new RuntimeException(e);
    }GetXhtml method is defined in the application module and calls the stored procedure which generates the code.
    Any ideas what might be the problem? I read some older threads about Internet Explorer having problems with MIME types when displaying PDF inline (see e.g. {thread:id=2361293}), could this somehow relate to displaying (X)HTML code too?
    Regards,
    Joonas

    Could be something with an IE conditional statement in the code used to place the Flash on the Web Page. Post a link to the page and let us take a look.

  • When opening new page, an extra window says "problem loading page"

    Opening the Firefox browser causes a second tab at the bottom to pop up that reads "problem loading page"...the pages I want to view open up fine, on all websites, I just get an extra annoying tab with that message...if I click on that tab, a small window pops up in the upper left hand corner of the screen that has the error message. I am using FF 3.6. This just started happening recently...possibly after my las FF upgrade.

    Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs.<br />
    You need to use all programs because each detects different malware.<br />
    Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.

  • I get a window that says problem loading page when I try to open an encrypted email message

    I recently changed email accounts from Qwest to Optimum (a cable company). I received an encryted email from the state of Wyoming today but everytime I tried to open it, a window popped up and said "problem loading page, try again."

    JackieMars71 I would recommend reviewing your installation log files to determine if there are any errors during the installation process.  You can find information on how to locate and interpret your installation log files at Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CC - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cc.html.  You are welcome to post any specific errors you discover to this discussion.

  • Updated windows. Firefox gives "Problem loading page" error everytime now.

    my computer told me that windows updates were available and that I needed to restart so I did. When the restart was complete firefox doesn't work at all now. It jut gives me the "Problem loading page" error no matter what website I visit. I have tried removing it from my windows fire wall and re-adding it but that did not help. I also try to uninstall firefox and reinstall but that didn't help either.
    I am using Widows 7 for what it's worth. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Try these in order.
    Type '''about:preferences#advanced'''<Enter> in the address bar.
    Under '''Advanced,''' Select '''Network.'''
    Look for '''Configure How Firefox Connects''' and press the '''Settings''' button.
    Check the settings.
    Some problems occurs when your Internet security program was set
    to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your
    updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow
    Firefox to connect to the Internet again;
    * Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
    * Remove Firefox from your program's list of trusted or recognized programs. For detailed instructions, see
    '''[https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/configure-firewalls-so-firefox-can-access-internet Configure firewalls so that Firefox can access the Internet.]''' {web link}
    '''[http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ Download Firefox Full Installer For All languages And Systems]''' {web link}
    Save the file. Then;
    Using your file browser, open the '''Programs''' folder on your computer.
    '''Windows:''' C:\Program Files
    C:\Program Files (x86)
    '''Mac:''' Open the "Applications" folder.
    '''Linux:''' Check your user manual.
    Look for, and rename any Mozilla and Firefox folders by adding '''.old''' to them.
    Now run the full installer.
    If all goes well, remove the OLD folders when you are done.

    hi do the following
    1. In Search programs and files (Windows 7) area, type in regedit, and press Enter.
    2. If prompted click yes,
    3.  expand the following HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
    4. click the sid that related to your admin profile (if you not sure, click each sid and in turn look to the right hand side of registry editor it will show who that sid is related to one of the registry files should hae in description localhost\admin or
    something similair)
    5. right click the sid and press delete.
    6. restart your machine and log back on with the admin account, this will then rebuild the admin profile... dont worry when it loads and none of your personal settings are saved or files or folders... go to c:\users
    in here you will see two folders for the admin account, one will be just admin and the other most likely admin.localhost
    i cant remember which one is which but just check both, one will still have all your files and folders in it.
    i suggest making a backup of your data before doing this incase something does go wrong, but ive had this happen many times in a domain enviorment and has worked for me everytime.

  • Windows 7 install hangs at "Windows is loading files ..." on MBA

    I have been trying to install Windows 7 Ultimate but each time the install hangs at "Windows is loading files ..." on reboot. I am using a Windows install DVD using an external drive. When the install hangs, the DVD is not being accessed. I have tried several times and it leads to the same result. I have tried different partition sizes (20 GB - 50 GB), no luck.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Solution
    I have a macmini bought in mid2011 with OS Lion on it. AS it doesnot come with an optical drive, I bought an LG DVD drive and used the windows 7 (64bit) installation DVD. It stopped at windows is loading files....
    I tired couple of other options like using flash dirve but it dint work.
    The I went to Apple's Genius Bar, and they put the installation dvd into their dvd drive (by Apple). Then the windows installed perfectly fine.
    When asked they said it must be the problem of DVD and I found out that it actually is the cause. Apple products require dual layer optical drives but in general the optical drives we buy can only read single layer dvds. So I got to fix the problem by borrowing their dvd drive in genius bar and now i m good to go.....
    Hope this helps

    Hi,
    You are getting the error because the printer name is greater than 40 characters.
    The SAPLPD can only recognize printer names with 40 characters or less.
    From the log, i believe you are using the printer BKC_7THFLR_HPCOLOR3800 ON THMUMGDCPS01 (FROM BKCDT1017) IN SESSION 11
    but the SAPLPD is recognizing only till BKC_7thFlr_HPColor3800 on THMUMGDCPS01.
    Try to change the printer name .. it will work
