Windows 7 reinstall getting apps back.

I had to reinstall windows 7. I still have the old install on a dual boot partition. I connected the ipad in the new install, backed it up, and also transfered all purchases, which only put the apps that were currently on the ipad into itunes. How do I go about getting all the apps I have on the old install over to the new itunes install without having to download everyone piecemeal? (and  Iam also getting the "synched with another library error, which I am not sure how to fix).
thanks!

Nevermind, got it figured out. thx.

You can sync your iPod with iTunes (if you have got your apps there) or go to App Store > Updates > Purchased

  • How can you get apps back after you restore an iPod?

Alright so basically I was on my iPod using an app when all the sudden my screen goes black and it wouldnt turn back on, when I inverted colours it went white so my iPod was on, just not responding. I had to restore my iPod and I have all my music back but I just want to know if I can get my apps back too. Please help!!! I NEED THEM BACK!

Note that you can only redownload the current version from the App store.
Many developers when they updated their apps to support iOS 5 and 6 dropped compatibility for iOS 4.2.1 and earlier.
Thus, if yo have a 2G or 1G iPod Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

  • Help to get apps back on to iphone!

I need help.  I to ios5; my apps are on my itunes on my pc; i can't seem to get them back on to my iphone...some come back and some don't and i have them checked off!  yes, i am syncing...

settings - general - reset - erase all contents and settings.  This will wipe your phone clean, then after it is done you can restore from your backup.

    Hello fireblocks,
    And welcome to Apple Discussions!
Purchased Apps can be redownloaded for free. However, you'll have to redownload them from the iTunes store with the same account you originally used to download them with. See this article for more assistance.

  • How to get apps back on iphone after update to IOS 5?

I just updated my iphone 3GS to IOS 5.  I can see that my phone updated, but my apps, which were backed up on my PC, but did not reload to iphone.  When I sync, nothing happens.  Tried turning on and off my phone, loaded an app on the phone from the App Store, hoping one of these would help, but no change.  Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the quick response.  I see that now and can/will install one by one.  I hadn't seen that before, and thought there was an easier way to get all of my apps back, but this will work.

  • Reinstall of iTunes - Getting apps back

I had to format my PC and reinstall iTunes.
I have a copy of all my music so thats fine, but my iPhone hasn't synched my applications [and more importantly, their data] back to iTunes.
How do I do this without wiping my iPhone?
Can I also get my iPhone to update iTunes with playlists I've made?
    Thanks

My friend told me how to do it - quite obvious but I missed it.
For those looking : Right click your iPhone in iTunes then click "transfer purchases"

  • How to reinstall old apps backed up using recovery mgr backup software

I crashed my machine after reloading some .NET framework files.  Since windows no longer loaded, I used the HP Recovery disks and did a full backup to both DVD and USB of my hard drive.  Then I went ahead and let the recovery disks reformat and reload the system to factory.  I went to use recovery manager to re-install all those apps and files, but all it did was copy all the stuff to a folder on my C:\ drive.  SO the dozen or so apps (quicken, genealogy, adobe paintshop & pdf, MS SQL) are not loaded. Yet it appears that my entire system is sitting in a file folder.  Great if I only wanted data, but I really would like to use the apps without reloading it all from scratch.  I did not find any executable files to start such a reload. I was happy with my machine before the crash, and if I could have done a simple recover to before I installed those files, I would have done so instead of the reformat.  Alas, no matter how far back I went, windows was pretty much DOA.
I Have an HP Pavillion with win7.
    Is this a lost cause?

The HP Recovery software only backs up a specific list of data file types and the folder they reside in. No programs were backed up and even if they were, they wouldn't operate correctly. You will need to reinstall all software that you previously installed.

  • Ultranav not recognized at all by windows 7 after getting it back from servicing

    Hello,
I just got back my W530 form servicing due to BSODs, they replaced the memories, mother board, and a power cable, and now the Ultranav pointing device doesn't work, and isn't listsed in the device manager.
What should I try? I have already tried installing the drivers from the website to no avail.
    Thanks!

After I install the driver from the Lenovo website, and I open the mouse setting in Windows, I get the following error.
If I uninstall it, and reboot, the problem still exists.
    Any suggestions?

  • Can You Get Apps back

if you buy a App and you want to get your money back. Can you do that?
If so how do u go about doing that?

    Can you do that?
No. Apple only provides refunds or credits if you've bought something incompatible or been charged multiple times for a single download.

  • I want to restore my photos from icloud i had ipod touch .. Thats stolen right now so i bought i pod mini but cant get my photo back by using icloud i can get apps back thats not important i could find apps the important was my photos :(

Hello there i had i pod touch .. Thats stolen and i had many photo on that device so i bought an ipad mini now but i cant get my photos backk i only can restore my apps .. That is not important cus i could download them again the important is getting back my photos i tryed every thing and still couldnt get the photos back only i getting the aps .. Any help :-s ?

The backup of your iPod Touch would include your camera roll photos.  Restoring the backup to another iPod Touch or iPhone would recover them.  Photos will not be restored by restoring the backup to an iPad.
Note: Apple deletes iCloud backups after 180 days of inactivity so be sure to do this before then.

  • New pc how do i get apps back on itunes

    h all
got new pc and need to get all my apps etc back on I tunes
I still have info on old hard drive
    any info would be great

If you have the old hard drive it should just be a matter of copying the iTunes folder from inside your old profile into the Music folder of your profile in the new computer. See also Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.
