Windows 7 starter edition how do i download latest version of microsoft silverlight?
Could somebody please confirm whether Windows 7 Starter does indeed NOT support Silverlight or otherwise ? Surely Microsoft would have indicated this somewhere. Was it not perhaps the browser used which was not supported with regards to the original post.

I am unable to determine it Silverlight will work on Windows 7 starter. I did read a comments on the Windows support site, where a user stated he had to install IE 9 for it to work properly

There are two ways in order to update your iPad 2:
1. Directly from your iPad
2. From a PC or a MacBook
First of all, to update you need an Internet connection
To update from your iPad directly:
1. Make sure you are connected to WiFi or a good cellular network with a good enough internet speed
2. Go to settings > General> Software Update and update your iPad
To update from the computer:
1. Make sure your computer / Laptop is connected to the Internet
2. Connect your iPad to the Computer
3. Open iTunes (Make sure you have the latest version of the iTunes)
4. Select your iPad
5. Click on check for update
6. An update will come.
7. Click on the update and your iPad will be updated.

The latest version of Firefox tends to not agree with my windows 7 starter netbook. I get a lot of hangups and crashes. I would like to download Firefox 4 again but can't seem to find it on your site in order to download it. Do you have any other suggestions that would be a good fit for windows 7 starter?
Also, I keep getting messages saying that Firefox is causing high CPU and memory usage on my netbook.Due to security vulnerabilities, rolling back to Firefox 4.0.1 is not recommended. Version 3.6.18 would be a safer choice.
Here's the process to roll back:
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, download and save Firefox 3.6 to your desktop for future installation. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
Close Firefox 5.
You could install Firefox 3.6 over it (many have reported success) or you could uninstall Firefox first. If you uninstall, do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.
Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, Firefox 3.6 should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details.
Note: If you don't have Firefox ask you before updating, you may need to set that to prevent an automatic update back to Firefox 5. Tools > Options > Advanced, Update mini-tab -

It is now apparent that iWeb, and iDVD, will no longer be supported by Apple. This is evidenced by the fact that new Macs are shipping with iLife 11 installed but without iWeb and iDVD. iWeb will still continue to work but without the following:

◼ Blog and photo comments
◼ Blog search
◼ Hit counter
◼ RSS Feed Widget
RSS Feeds and Slideshow Subscriptions will continue to work if the site is published from iWeb to the FTP server. If the site is published to a folder on the hard drive and uploaded using a 3rd party FTP client those two features will not work.
All of these issues can be replaced with 3rd party options.
There's another problem and that's with iWeb's popup slideshows. Once the MMe servers are no longer online the popup slideshow buttons will not display their images.

However, Roddy McKay and I have figured out a way to modify existing sites with those slideshows and iWeb itself so that those images will display as expected once MobileMe servers are gone. Apple has announced that iLife is now an unsupported product and those iApps will only be available thru the App Store from now on. However, there may be some copies of the boxed iLife 11 still on the shelves that would include iWeb and iDVD. Those two apps were listed in small, gray text on the iLife 11 box that I bought. Personally, if I already didn't have a copy I would purchase one to have it for reinstallation purposes if ever needed.

According to Wikipedia, 4 years ago you would most likely have bought Photoshop CS5.
You can download Photoshop CS5 from Adobe. Start here:

You'll need your serial number to activate it. If you don't have that, you can likely find it on Adobe's main web site after you've logged-in with your Adobe ID. See the Find your serial number quickly link to pursue that.

Itunes wont start, computer says to download latest version 7.5
iTunes wont start, solution computer gives it to download latest version 7.5. nut when i download it and install 7.5 on my computer, which i have done several times, it doesn't work and says i should download the latest update.....which i already have! is it Vista related, or is relating to version 7.5?....please help me!!
I'll post the same thing I posted in another thread; it might help you. Reinstall itunes again according to my post. Some of the information is irrelevant to your problem, but hey, i'm kinda feeling lazy. You'll get the idea. Here it is.....
"this is just a suggestion. If you reinstall itunes again, make sure you follow the directions in the support section of this site for uninstalling itunes and quicktime. Another thing they don't say in that article that I did when i had to uninstall itunes was to do a search. You know, pressing the start button and then "Search". Make sure when you do, click the search "All files and folders". Then set it to look in "Local Hard Drives (C:)" and type in the "all or part of the file name" itunes. After the search is done you should have a bunch of different itunes components in the results. Btw do the same for quicktime as a search. Make sure to DELETE every itunes and quicktime file there. If some of your music files happened to come up in the search use commone sense. Get rid of every component so itunes and quicktime is completely erased from the system. Make sure that you do this after you've restarted your computer once (according to the uninstallation article). Then just empty your recycle bin, reboot your computer, and finally reinstall itunes. Hopefully that will work to at least get rid of that APP error. Good luck and ask me anything you have some questions!!"

I am running windows xp. Trying to download latest version of iTunes and get error message: Microsoft Visual C Rundtime Library. Runtime Error. Program:C\ProgramFiles\iTunes\iTunes.exe. R6034 An appliction has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. Please contact the appliction's support team for more information.
2nd/ message: iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7(Windows error 1114)
I have removed iTunes serveral time and tried to reinstall many times and get the same results noted above.

Did you downloaded and installed Photoshop and Illustrator CS6 through Creative Cloud.
After uninstalled them, Creative Cloud saying applications are "Up to Date" when not installed.
If this is the case then please perform the steps given in the help document.
