Windows 7 startup error after uninstall of Photosmart 6510

After uninstalling Photosmart 6510 and software, get error message: "There was a problem starting C:\Program Files\HP\HP Photosmart 6510 series\bin\HPStatusBL.dll" when Windows 7 starts up.

Sounds like the software was not completely removed (or atleast Windows still is looking for something). Microsoft make a tool that should be able to help, it is called FixIt. Click the link below for more details:

Hello everyone, I need a bit of help.
My computer will boot windows 7. When I start it up, it tries to boot up.  I then get a Windows failed to boot message on the windows error recovery screen and asks me if I would like to use Windows Startup Repair Tool to fix the Problem. But the tool never starts up. It just leads to a windows background and does nothing. I have also tried using f11 System recovery but it does nothing.

    Hi,
    Firstly, regarding your existing files.
One possible way to try and retrieve your files from a non-booting drive is to follow the process detailed in the link below.  The Ubuntu operating system CD you create can run from the CD alone ( ie it doesn't have to install on the Hard Drive ) and I've often found it to be successful in retrieving data even from a failing Hard Drive.  When you've created the CD, follow the instructions and see if you can back up your existing files.
    http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/use-ubuntu-live-cd-to-backup-files-from-your-dead-windo...
Secondly, regarding the replacement of the Hard Drive.
The drive on the link below is an example of one that would be fine for your notebook.
    500Gb Hard Drive
The procedure to replace the Hard Drive starts on Page 52 of your Maintenance & Service Guide.
Once done, simply use your Recovery DVDs to reinstall the Operating System on the new drive - the procedure is described in the HP document Here.
If you don't have your Recovery Discs, you can order a replacement set using the link below.
    Order HP Recovery Discs.
If you have any problem with this link, order them directly from HP.

    Hello,
I am afraid that I could not get any error message form that list you shared, is there any other message about that error?
To narrow down this issue, I would recommend you check the following suggestions.
    1. Rebuild your project and debut it to see whether it could work.
    2. If #1 works fine, then publish it and install that application to check whether there is any issue while installing.
    3. If #2 works too, then you could share the screenshot and the detailed error message with us.

    The error message:

usually indicates that a wrong Java Version was used to run Database Studio. Database Studio needs Java 1.5 to run.

  • Windows error after uninstalling ipod software

Hope someone can help. I recently un-installed ipod software due to problems on computer. Anyway since I uninstalled the software I no longer have acces to my CD or DVD drives they show an error message of code 41 that states the device driver was loaded but no physical device is present.
I know the physical device is there. Was wondering if anyone may be able to help, i am running winxp home. I checked micro web site they say remove upper and lower limits in registry. but not specific to IPOD. Seems odd i would uninstall ipod software and my dvd or cd no longer exist? was gonna try re-installing software and see if it helps but was hoping for an experts opinion first.

uninstall the drivers for the CD and DVD drives in control panel and system and let Windows refind them. Also you could reinstall Itunes and Ipod and just let them be.

    Got the solution :
    1.     Log on to the WebLogic Server Administration Console.
    2.     Click the domain name for the Managed Server.
    3.     Click View Domain-wide security settings.
    4.     Click the Embedded LDAP tab.
    5.     Select the Refresh replica at startup option, and then click Apply.

  • 'Paper Mismatch' error message on HP Photosmart 6510

    Hi,
I seem to keep getting the error message 'Paper Mismatch' when trying to print on my HP Photomsart 6510, I have read your forum regarding this message but that doesn't seem to help me. It seems to work fine when i'm using standard A4 paper, but I want to print on a slightly thicker paper GSM 80, and it used to work fine - but all of a sudden it keeps giving me that error message. When I changed the printer settings to 'custom' as suggested, it did print - however the document went a funny angle and didn't print properly. I would really appreicate your help on this.
    Thanks.

I will do my best to try to think of something that is not in the previous forums.  Tell me, what kind of software are you printing from (ex. Word, Adobe, etc.)?  Quite often there is a template within the software you are using.  For Word, select the Mailings Tab and check in envelopes or labels for that exact paper type.
Is your operating system Windows 7, XP, Mac, etc?  I hope I can guide you to the proper setting but I will need to know more.
Don't forgot to say thanks by giving "Kudos" if I helped solve your problem.

  • Windows setup error after installing new hard drive

My hard drive failed. After installing the new hard drive and running the recovery disks, I get an error that says windows setup could not configure windows to run on this hardware. The new HD is basically the same as the one originally in my HP Touchsmart
    600-1155 PC.

    Hi Hpygram,
Please share more details about this issue.
    1. What option did you choose when you use the recovery disks?
    2. Did you perform the clean installation?
If you meet this error message when you  perform the clean installation, please refer to the following KB for more details.

  • Windows 7 slow after uninstalling IE 11

I was updating an image, and messed up and let IE11 install. I removed it, going back to IE9, but now the image appears to be messed up.
Event Viewer is slow to open.  MMC keeps crashing.  IE opens slowly, and appears to have trouble installing or running new plugins like Intel's Driver Update Utility http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect?
-- IE9 says it is not responding and has encountered an error.  It works just fine on other systems.
I remember there was a batch file to reregister IE8 files to repair it.  I had great success with it.  Does anyone know of a way to repair IE9?

I shall suggest you to go for a system restore, select any restore point when there was no such issue.

  • Runitme error after uninstalling 1.5.0_06-b05

We used v 1.5.0_01-b08 to run our app that connects to a server. Java got updated to 1.5.0_06-b05 and we got some runtime errors. I've uninstalled all versions and reloaded the 01b-08 but ther errors are still there. One thing - I have no problems running if a domain admin is logged on. The problem is an end user (regardless of having local admin) or not, the runtime errors pop up!
    Any ways on fixing this?
    THANKS!!

    That's fixed in 5.0u7; see http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6346871 .
The current compile task is the method the VM's optimizing JIT was working on when it crashed. (The VM compiles Java bytecodes to machine code in the "hot spot" of your application.)
When you get a crash like that, you can try, as a temporary workaround, excluding the current compile task method from compilation. See http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?messageID=4273845 .
