Windows 7 validation errors on almost every software

Hello,
I recently, downloaded Windows 7 professional from MSDN, I have a valid key. After I installed windows 7 I repeatedly get validation error on the following softwares:
Internet explorer
windows explorer
skype
Izarc
Eclipse
the error is like:
NAMEOFSOFTWAER.exe encountered a validation error
process name:   NAMEOFSOFTWAER.exe
Module name: KERNELBASE.dll
Assert offset:00013F62
I searched on line, but most of the discussions on validation errors of windows 7 were around internet explorer, but I have this error on other softwares as well.
I am sure that the version of my windows and my key are both valid and legal. I checked if I have bad sector on my disk and I did`nt, I also did a full scan for virus and I did not have any virus.
Would you please check in to this problem and guide me to resovle it,
Thanks,
Laleh

  • Windows Validation Error?

    Hi
    I recently downloaded a copy of Windows 7 Pro (from my University for free) on a new PC build. Here are its specs if you need them:
    Intel 4670k, 8 gb ram, 650 watt PSU, 50gb OCZ Vertex SSD, AsRock Z87 Pro3, and another 250 gb HDD.
    After installing Windows, I kept getting an error like this:
    ---------.exe encountered a validation error
    process name:
    ---------.exe
    Module name: KERNELBASE.dll
    Assert offset: [Some random numbers/letters]
    Now, I felt this could be a corrupt ISO (I made a bootup USB), so I remade the ISO and tried again. No luck.
    I thought this could be a corrupt download, so I redownloaded the copy of Windows 7. No luck
    People are saying that that is the debugged version which shouldn't be downloaded, so I can redownload the standard version of Windows, but can't I just download a Service Pack to fix that?
    Or is that not my problem? Then what is?
    Thanks for any help
    PS: This is a valid copy of Windows, with a valid product key.

    OKAY so I found the problem. At the university's download page, there is a "bugged" version and "debugged" version. Download the BUGGED version. Also make sure your ISO image isn't faulty.
    Thanks for the help everyone!

    Actually this is not the answer.  The 'bugged' version and the 'debugged' version both use the exact same activation key.  Apparently your download was corrupted causing you problem initially.

  • Netflix error codes almost every time

    I have been using my Apple TV to watch netflix for the past month and now it seems as though I cannot play some or most of my content because of a netflix error 111 or 112. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas on how to fix it? I have tried unplugging the box, hasn't helped.
    Thanks!

    This is not a problem only to apple tv. I have netflix on my ipad and it has been doing this for about a month now. When netflix release new update recently, it stopped doing 111 error for 3-4 days and it came back again. If I press refresh button couple of times, it sometimes work if I get lucky. Some people suggest turning device off would work. Yes, but it takes too much time and effort to watch just one movie. I believe this is a bug from Netflix. They must have some cookie or cache setting which is conflicting while connecting to server. Probably cache is preventing from application to connect to server, when in fact the program didn't get connected to server. But that is my theory. I hope somebody finds work around or fix the bug once and for all.

  • Possible bug: validation errors raise at table row and current row is lost

    Hi everybody,
    I've just implemented a simple test case against the HR schema:
    1. Create Business Components from Tables: choose only Employees. That will generate Employees EO, EmployeesView VO, associations, viewlinks and AppModule with the following hierarchy: EmployeesView1 > EmployeesView2
    2. Create a simple page with an ADF Table based on EmployeesView1.
    3. Surround af:table with af:panelCollection
    4. Add toolbar buttons to the af:panelCollection "toolbar" facet:
    <f:facet name="toolbar">
      <af:toolbar id="t2">
        <af:commandToolbarButton actionListener="#{bindings.CreateInsert.execute}" text="CreateInsert" disabled="#{!bindings.CreateInsert.enabled}" id="ctb1" partialTriggers="t1"/>
        <af:commandToolbarButton actionListener="#{bindings.Delete.execute}" text="Delete" disabled="#{!bindings.Delete.enabled}" id="ctb2" partialTriggers="t1"/>
      </af:toolbar>
    </f:facet>5. Create a af:panelGroupLayout that encloses everything under af:form
    <af:document id="d1" title="Employees">
      <af:messages id="m1"/>
      <af:form id="f1">
        <af:panelGroupLayout id="pgl1" partialTriggers="pc1:ctb1 pc1:ctb2">
    ...6. Delete the LastName field for any row in the table and click anywhere on the next row in the table. This will raise a mandatory field validation error. At this point, the selected row is the one you've just clicked on, but the focus (mouse cursor) is in the LastName field that raised the error.
    7. Fill in the LastName field. Don't click on it; just write something, as the field is already focused.
    8. Click the CreateInsert button
    Result: The current row is still the one you clicked on before, not the newly created row. If you click on this new row to fill in its fields, validation errors raise for every mandatory field.
    I'd appreciate any help on this. I can send you the test case if necessary.
    Thanks in advance,
    Barbara

    Hi,
    if you
    1. Select (click) a row to edit last name (don't edit last name though)
    2 Press "CreateInsert"
    Does this then make the new row becoming the current if nor errors are shown ?

    Ps.: If so, please send me the test case. My mail address is in my OTN profile. Just zip the workspace and change the ".zip" extension to something like ".unzpme" because the Oracle firewall bounces all mails with zip attachements

  • My downloads of iTunes and related software onto my Windows PC fails every time with error message that the software does not have valid signature.  How to get around this problem?

    I have trouble downloading iTunes software and related software like the new ios8 on both my desktop--Windows 7, and my laptop--Windows Vista, because I keep getting error messages saying the software has been deleted because invalid signature.   I have tried download and install and I have tried just download, but neither method works.   So I am stuck with the older software and my new iPad 2 Air isn't connecting because I need ios8 apparently.
    I have an iPhone 5 and a new iPad 2 Air.
    How to get around the Windows problem, please?
    Thank you!

    I have CS2 and I use it almost every day.. Today when I tried to launch it, a prompt came up saying my Activation was no longer valid and it closed automatically.  Then when I tried to re-open it, a prompt came up saying "A serious error has occured"  Please re-install the software...  I have no idea where my software is... That was many many years ago?  HELP!!

    When you go to the download page, you must do two things:
    Download this file: PhSp_CS2_English.exe on the download page.
    Use the serial number on the download page in order to install your non-activation copy.
    Do not use your old CD or serial number. It no longer works.
    If you have Windows 7, the advice is to turn off UAC and run the installer as Administrator.

  • After March Patch Tuesday: Unresolvable Windows 7 Validation errors

    I have had a stable Windows 7 Enterprise installation with the initial MAK Product key for a couple years. After the Microsoft Patch Tuesday monthly set for March was applied, the system started complaining with a popup window "You may be a victim of
    software counterfeiting".  It had a hyperlink entitled "Go online and resolve now" which resolved to
    http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate/?OSV=6.1.7601.2.00010100.1.0.004.09.1033&LS=3&LegitCheckError=00000052&GenuineInfo=00000000&Channel=0&ErrCode=00000000
    This presented a new Internet Explorer window "Validation Status: Action Required" with a hyperlink, 'Validate Now" which resolved to
    http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/downloads/GenerateHTA.aspx?displaylang=en&Error=52&OSV=6.1.7601.2.00010100.1.0.004.09.1033&GenuineInfo=00000000&ls=3&page=avsValidate
    It resulted in a popup window asking what I wanted to do with legitcheck.hta
    Embedded in its code, it loads some javascript at http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/static/js/CommonFunctions.js"
    I saved legitcheck.hta and then ran it, it loaded an Internet Explorer “DownloadValidationSupport” web page which offered two steps, Download then Continue.
    The Download link was for WindowsActivationUpdate.exe
    I did download WindowsActivationUpdate.exe and run it, but every single time (there were many), after running it, every time if I selected Continue, I always received the messsage:
    Please wait for the install to complete and then click Continue or view the Troubleshooting tips
    At any time (before, during, after) the above processes, if I went to Control Panel - System, at Windows Activation Windows Activation it always stated:

    Next I ran the Microsoft Genuine Diagnostics Tool. At the Windows tab it reported:

    For "fun" I ran
    cscript slmgr.vbs –rilc
    but the licensing rebuild made no difference in the Windows 7 validation error
    I would like to get the system to actually run a validation check and if necessary require the MAK key. What is the process to eliminate this  bogus "software counterfeiting" state?

    Thank you for your time considering this. The problem seems resolved.
    I noticed that the path was missing for some Start menu items, the icons were not correct. The system environment variables TMP, TEMP, and windir had been deleted. The Windows Activation errors probably started shrotly after the system environment variable
    were deleted.
    After I restored the environment variables to their standard values, I ran WindowsActivationUpdate.exe, it went through the downloading update package, then installing update steps successfully.
    With the standard environment parameters reestablished the MGADiag Copy function worked. I noticed then that it included a lot more information than what is displayed in the one popup window, similar in length to some of the other postings here with output
    from MGADiag
    In the course of troubleshooting the Activation error before posting here, I had issued the slmgr /rearm command to see if its action in resetting the activation timers would allow me to re-enter the MAK.
    When WindowsActivationUpdate completed, then when I went to the Control Panel item for System. I was able to go through the validation process. Now the install is validated again.
    Since the March Patch Tuesday set consisted of 12 updates I can't point the finger at any one for being the root of this problem.

  • Windows 8 fails to install EVERY update, error code 0x800f0922

    So I had to do a System Repair thing where Windows would repair itself and removing all my apps but keep my documents, photos and music etc. So I was reinstalling every program again and also wanted to install the updates.
    But I ran into 0x800f0922 error code and I couldnt install them. (I run Windows 8.1 Pro) I was trying to install Adobe Photoshop but couldnt continue cuz .NET framework 3.5 was required. But after trying to manually download + install I got
    the same error (0x800f0922). I've tried almost every cmd command but couldnt fix it. (im a kinda noob on it anyways)
    Any help would be appreciated!

    I did that and it told me it succeeded, but I also tried to manually install net framework with DISM but gave me the same error.. And I reinstalled Windows trying the repair, refresh and reset options, nothing helped. I did not yet tried a clean installation.

    Thanks in advance for the help.

    Hi
    As far as I know this message appears because you installed an copy of Windows OS and the system was not activated properly.
    You said that you installed a new Windows system using Microsoft disk.
    So use the key belonging to this Windows system:
    Try uninstalling and reinstalling the product key and check if it helps.
    1) Click Start and type CMD in the start search box.
    2) select Run as Administrator.
    3) In the command shell type the following command and press Enter after each command.
    slmgr upk
    slmgr ipk (your product key)
    4) Activate the copy again and check if it works.

    Additional things to try.
    Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

    Hi tarunkw,
    Follow the steps below and check if that resolve the issue:

    Now try reinstalling the HP Software and check if the installation goes as expected.

    2. Open the run dialog by clicking both the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type %windir% and click on OK.
    3. Type hpoins*.dat into the top search bar, if there are any results rename the extention into old instead of dat. (e.g. hpoins1.old)

  • Error while installing itunes software on windows vista 32 bit operating system.

    Hi friends,I am getting an itune installation error,Microsoft.VC80.CRT.version=8.0.50727.4053,The operating system in windows vista,i donwloaded itunes with IE as well as firefox,but always same error message is coming.Please help me out with this error.

    I browsed this page earlier, and now im back to explain how i fixed my problem which is similar to yours.
    All of the below must be followed manually: (that windows msgbox error is just confusing you) be reminded that:
    %appdata% is not a network location. It is a systemwide variable used by Windows OS. %appdata% is a directory on your computer
    I have win 7 OS, and i tweaked the below values so the Nokia_PC_Suite will install:
    follow ALL of the following one by one:
    -----first, the package----
    first, go to the file which you downloaded from the net, (usually: Nokia_PC_Suite_eng_web.exe) right click the file and click properties, then click the compatibility tab and tick "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" then (select your OS on drop down box) then also click the lowermost button, "Run this program as administrator" then click OK. and close the properties box.
    ----second, the registry----(carefull a little mistake will render your machine unusable, so don't mess inside registry)
    enter your registry by >> Start > Run > "type" regedit (without the word type) expand the following:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders, (on the right pane) you will see AppData, double click AppData and change the value to: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming
    do the above to below location also: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
    ----third, Windows environment variables----
    in your windows, right click the "My Computer", then click "Properties" then click the Advanced tab, on the lowermost of the window click the button [Environment Variables], click edit and change the value of "Temp" to variable value: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming.
    Now double click (re-install) the Nokia package which you have downloaded from Nokia website and i hope it will install flawlessly this time

    Probably should've searched around a bit more. Just saw a similar forum post to my own in which redownloading and burning solved another user's similar issue. As of now I've redownloaded the 64-bit ISO, burned it, and so far so good (at 72% extracting files). I will repost here if it was a success in hopes that other users with a similar issue find this and benefit from it. Hope I didn't just waste anyone's time with a question that had already been answered (haha)
