Windows 7 x64 and X-Fi Titanium oddness

'? I have a really odd problem with Win 7 x64. I have an X-Fi Titanium and installing the latest (from July of last year!?) drivers a) renders the front panel useless immediately and b) eventually causes the card to stop working. Really strange. The problem is, only the newest drivers work properly as I use sli. 2_7_0006 work perfectly, except for the static I get in some games when running with sli enabled.
I was previously running an XP/Vista x64 dual boot and the same driver (0007) worked fine with those setu
ps.
It's really odd how the driver doesn't stop working as soon as I install it - sometimes it takes a couple of hour, sometimes a day or two. I also sometimes get BSODs with the newest drivers installed - something that never happensthe 0006. I've tried fi've or six times and the result is always the same. Anyone have any ideas and/or run into the same thing? I've looked all over, but have never seen the same complaint.

Hi KEV-273,
This seems to be a generic installation error. Please install a random application to see if you are getting the same error message.

• Problems with Windows x64 and Sound blaster l

Hey, I have this issue with my sound blaster li've. I've just recently installed Windows x64 and now I'm having issues with my sound. It creates this weird echo sound with a small static sound everytime a game. Prior to loading any applications, the sound is just fine. I had this issue when I had Windows XP but I installed the Li've applications and was able stop that. But I can't install that application for Windows x64. Is there any solution to this? Thanks in advance.

• Windows x64 and recently released Sounblaster Live! 64 bit driv

I downloaded the new SB Li've! drivers (Creative Sound Blaster Li've! x64 Driver (2.23MB) released 2 Augh 05) - uninstalled all Creative programs and all Audio drivers on my system, and proceeded to install the drivers as instructed. I reboot my system and I get sound...but only in my front left, front right, and subwoofer. I go to my sound and audio settings, switch my advanced settings to 7. home theatre, and still only the 2 front speakers and the sub are working. Why would Creative release a driver that doesn't work? Any help? [email protected]][email protected] or AIM = t0ide

Hello,
When i try to install a SAP 4.6C system on Windows ORACLE 10.2.0.2 and Windows AMD_64 (x64).
I've got an error in the creation of the database (see below). The Centrale instance wae created successfully.
I've changed KERNEL CD to the 46DEXT2 (INSORA102_0.SAR) version and also applied OSS Note 976457 to update various Windows DLL .
The problem is when launching R3SETUP, it goes to subdirectory ZSAPORAICL like you can see.
Why ? Is there's an error on 46D Kernel CD ?
Do you have any idea ? Already had the same problem ?
Thanks for your help
Best regards

• Installed Windows X64 last night

Well since my system still wasn't quite as stable as I was hoping for by now, I installed Windows X64 and So for no crashes at all.  As for running the FEAR demos, I'm still having a black screen/lock up.  But looking at the FEAR forum tech sight, lots of people are having that same problem.  I'll wait till the full game comes out next week or two.
THe next thing I was thinking about is upgrading to 2 gigs of memory . 2@1gig DDR.  How many think it will help my system out for over all performances.  Or will I even see a difference.  And if deside to upgrade, should I just add another gig, or scap the memory I have and get 2 sticks of 1gig DDR better quality memory .  See specs below.
Thanks

Hey FEAR works just great on my system running windows 2000, must be a windows XP thing right?
Oh and BTW that's three threads now you've asked the same sort of question about RAM, just keep the one...

• Windows 7 pro x64 and palm centro

I'm running windows 7 pro X64 and the software installed just fine, but not the driver.  Does Palm have any plans for a solution?  Are there any third party drivers that will solve my problem without having to install a bluetooth device on my pc?
Post relates to: Centro (Verizon)

Hello rpiquette, Welcome to the Palm Support Community!
Palm has moved away from their legacy operating system (PalmOS) and on to a new one called webOS.  Since Palm Inc. doesn't even own their own software anymore (Palm Desktop) I'd seriously doubt any further support will be forthcoming for Win7, especially for 64-bit architecture.
Palm Inc. has historically not divulged any "future plans" for software (or hardware).   Will a third-party develop a desktop client?  I have no idea at this point, but the opportunity certainly exists!

iTunes 11.2.2 for Windows x64 will not successfully install.  Removed prior iTunes, and still will not install. 10.7 installs just fine, but constantly asks to upgrade to 11.2.2.  Any Thoughts?

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if one component won't install normally.
If needs be, the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility (MS Installer "Fixit") may be able to help force through the installation.

Windows will not be able to see the device in the “Device Manager”
Last step, use your own Windows 8.1 Pro Key and Office 2013 key to register and activated your legal copy of the Microsoft software’s.

victor,
You said 'if the download deosn't work'. Does that mean it didn't work for you?
What happens when you try to download the updater? You were trying to download the Windows version and not the Mac one?
You can't buy the cd anywhere, they just come supplied with iPods, and will more than likely contain an out of date software version in any case.

Hi,
I've got a Deskjet 1220c and have recently upgraded two machines; one to Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and the other to Windows Server 2008 R2.  Any idea where I can get printer drivers?
I'd like to try the Vista x64 drivers, though these were included on the Vista CD from MS, and not available as a separate download from HP (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&docname=c00868762).
I'd be grateful for any suggestions.
Thanks,

Hi
I had this trobule too.  Below is the instructions to install driver.  Disconnect your printer. In printers select add printer.  Then click windows update (need internet) allow them to update and then select 1220c printer to install leaving as standard old port.  Once installed go into printer properites and update to USB port.
Bingo it works!
Refer to the below link for full instructions.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities
You can install a 64-bit Windows 7 or Vista version in your Mac. Make sure you downloaded these drivers > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1630 Also, if you have the Snow Leopard DVD you used to upgrade your Mac or the OS X DVD that came with your Mac, you can use it to install the Boot Camp drivers

BUG! Not system locale Filenames support for 32-bit applications error in Windows 8.1 x64.
All Windows x64 (XP,2003,2007,Vista,7,8) have no support for not system locale filenames|foldernames for all 32-bit applications. I think it is BUG!
For example,  it is possible to read files|folders with French or Chinese in English locale windows installed, rename it, but it is not possible open it, edit or delete. (ERRORS: File not found OR Unknown format)
With using 64-bit programs no such problems. How does it works and how can I fix this? Is it problem with encoding in translating kernel instructions for 32-bit apps in x64 Windows OS's? Whether there are
solutions to this problem OR some hacks|fixes?

Hi,
Have you installed the language package for French or Chinese?
If no, please download the language package and install them.

Itune 11 on Windows 7 x64 and iPad 2.
On 3 different PC and 3 different iPad 2 when I installed iTunes 11.1 Windows Autoplay recognise the iPad but iTunes do not.
The device does not appear in iTunes and thus neither synchronisation nor backup are possible.
Reverting to the previous version of iTunes solved the issue.
However with IOS 7 iTunes 11.1 is required and I am back with the same issue. Could you please help?
Thanks and best regards

If you try syncing with iTunes again, perhaps the phantom album will be erased since it does not exist on the computer.
Have you tried restarting or maybe resetting the iPad to see if the album will disappear?
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
