Windows 8.1 is not starting after installing Bluetooth driver

I cannot start Windows 8.1 Pro (64Bit) after enabling Virtualization ( because I need HYPER-V ) from BIOS settings.
It was perfect before installing RaLink Bluetooth Driver update.
I use "HP ENVY 15 Touchsmart j001tx" laptop.

Further information:
HYPER-V and Bluetooth individually works fine. But laptop is not starting up when both are installed. Please help me.

IPod service manager will not start after installing iTunes 10

iPod service manger will not start after loading iTunes 10. iPhone will not connect. I've removed reinstalled, wiped the registry reinstalled and deauthorized, removed and reinstalled from several different downloads. I have full permissions fo rservices and am administrator.. We now have three other units in teh office with the same issue.

Don't know about fixing PitStop. However, have you tried a simple repair on Acrobat. If Acrobat won't open you can do that from the Programs and Features menu (Add/Remove Programs in OS prior to Win7).

Itunes will not start after installing 10.5 Windows DEP error XP

Have not found a definitive fix for this anywhere.. so will try posting again.
Having upgraded to itunes 10.5... now Itunes will not start. Just get Data Execution Prevention error, and closes. Using Windows XP. Have tried repairing itunes, removing it reinstalling, removing and reinstalling Quicktime.. (Quicktime works fine). Disabling DEP for itunes.. re-enabling doesn't make any difference either way. Tried different profile.

Apache does not start after installing the policy web agent

We get the following error when we start the apache webserver on linux which has opensso policy agent installed/configured to it.

Once I had an iAS 1.0.2.2 running without problems. However after installing Patch 7 for Forms (released 27 august 2001) I get exactly the same error messages as Pieter. I have tried starting apache as administrator, comment out mod_ose, set wv_gateway_cfg, but none seem to work. Please help.

After installing (and updating the config file), the AppFabricCachingService no longer starts. The event viewer has the following:

I removed and added the host into the cluster, but it still did not start. I even updated the HOST file to have the fully qualified name.

According to your post, my understanding is that after installing the AppFabric CU5, the AppFabricCachingService could not start.
After installing the update you should do the following in all the servers that are holding the distributed cachec.
After applying the CU, AppFabric uses a nonblocking garbage collection (background server garbage collection).
Nonblocking garbage collection is a new feature in the .NET Framework 4.5.
To apply this fix, follow these steps.
1. Upgrade the servers to the .NET Framework 4.5.
2. Install the cumulative update package.
3. Enable the fix by using the following setting <appSettings><add key="backgroundGC" value="true"/></appSettings> in the DistributedCacheService.exe.config file between
       </configSections>
   <appSettings><add key="backgroundGC" value="true"/></appSettings>
   <dataCacheConfig>
4. Restart the AppFabric Caching service for the update to take effect.
Note :By default, the DistributedCacheService.exe.config file is located under the following directory:

I used Exchange 2013 SP1+CU5 to install Edge role on Windows server 2012 R2 workgroup machine
then after installation the service "Exchange server health Service" was not starting automatically or manually with the following error "Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion"
and in the Event Viewer I have this error:

The Microsoft Exchange Health Manager service depends on the following service: MSExchangeADTopology. This service might not be installed.

The Exchange 2013 Edge Role has a reduced set of services compare to a CAS or MBX server role:
Active Directory Web Services
Microsoft Exchange ADAM
Microsoft Exchange Anti-spam Update
Microsoft Exchange Diagnostics
Microsoft Exchange Credential Service
Microsoft Exchange Health Manager
Microsoft Exchange Service Host
Microsoft Exchange Transport
Microsoft Exchange Transport Log Search
The above one was from Exchange 2013 Sp1. Not sure whether Microsoft Exchange Health Manager service has been replaced from CU5.
Just restart the edge server once again and ensure that you are able to see this service again in services console.

ITunes will not start after installing newest version

After installing the newest version of iTunes, I click on the iTunes icon and the license agreement flashes on the screen and disappears before I can click on the agreement. I am running Windows 2000 professional edition. Quick time will also not start. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, with and without firewall software running. Nothing seems to help.

Windows 7 won't start after installing graphic driver

hi guys
i have a probook 4530s (i5) laptop and recently i encountered a problem with graphics.
after installing a fresh copy of windows 7 x64, i installed lates driver for graphics (sp55947) but after a reset, windows won't pass the first "starting windows" page unless i go to bios setting and uncheck "switchable graphics" option,
but after that i dont have the radeon 6490m in my device manager anymore. i also tried the latest update for bios but no success with the problem..

Dreamweaver CS3 not starting after install

My previous Acer computer (Intel dual core, 2gb ram, XP Pro SP3) ran DW just fine, but it died a hardware death. My new computer is an HP 6005 Pro, pre-installed with an XP Pro (SP3) downgrade, AMD dual core 2.8 gb processor, 1.75 gb ram...
The install went fine, but when I click on the icon (either the shortcut or the exe in the root folder) nothing happens. The hourglass starts for a few seconds then disappears and nothing. My other Adobe software includes PS CS2, Audition, PS 6, Bridge and Bridge CS3 (this versionof Bridge is from the DW CS3 insatll...PSCS2 is an upgrade so I had to install PS 6 first then the upgrade. Is PS6 and Bridge interfering and/or can I uninstall PS6 and Bridge?)
Where do I go from here? I'm praying it's not an incompatiblity with the AMD processor!! I built and published my website with this DW and I'm stuck!!!

I tried a re-install with both firewall and antivirus turned off (ZoneAlarm and Avira). No change, Dreamweaver will not start (but shows up in the Process tab in Task Manager) and will not allow Photoshop CS2 to run (i.e. Ps starts but freezes when opened) until the Dw process is stopped. Bridge CS3 will open and did open a file after a second attempt in Ps (the first resulted in the usual freezing of Ps), but after closing Ps and restarting Ps once again would freeze until stopping in Task Manager. Stopping Bridge in Task Manager would then allow Ps to open normally. Adobe Device Central will open but will not close except through the Task Manager. Extension Manager opens and closes fine and doesn't interfere with Ps
I can click on Dreamweaver (which does not start but is listed in the Process tab) and then open Photoshop 6 and use it with no problems.
Very frustrating! Something in CS3 is interfering with CS2!
I did download and ran the Adobe Support Advisor. It reported:

Also when I click on the "package for support" to generate a key for support it quites at 30% and says information is too large for this configuration and to go to Adobe Support for more information...
So what should I do next? Call an Adobe tech support person?
Is this maybe a problem with XP SP3? I have read in places that SP3 introduced anomolies, should I roll back to SP2 (if I even can?)

[BO XI 3.1] BO Designer not starting after installing SP5

Hello All!
I installed SP5 on top of BO XI 3.1 SP3 (Windows Server 2008 R2 64bit) on server. There is an issue that Designer is not starting. The process designer.exe shows up in "Task manager" for 1-2 second and disappear. No entries in Event Viewer and in BO logs. I also installed SP5 on client desktop machine and the same happens.
Do you have any tips/advices? Thanks for that!

we are not aware of such type of problem and it is most likely something peculiar to the configuration or architecture of your deployment.
I would analyze trace logs from Designer and from Process Monitor ( [http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645] )
My advice is to open a support message because is a complicated investigation that probably will need some remote support as well

Windows 8.1 Pro not booting after install of Hyper V - ASUS z87 + intel 4670K

I am running windows 8.1 pro on a intel 4670K 4th Gen Haswell CPU and ASUS z87 plus motherboard. 16gb of kingston hyperx ddr1600 memory.
I have enabled virtualisation technology in the bios. CPU has SLAT.... or Extended Page Table, as intel likes to refer to it.
When I install HyperV platform and management tools the computer configures and reboots
AFter reboot it brings up the blue window image and spinning circle of dots for a while then reboots. It does the same thing again and then reboots and goings into repair mode and asks me to do a system restore. It then restores to before they HyperV install.
I've tried turning off xHCI mode (i.e USB 3.0) in the bios as this seemed to be a known issue with some gigabyte boards. This did not rectify the issue
Updated to latest asus mainboard bios 1405. Same issue still occurs upon install of hyper V.
Automatic repair does not work and I have to restore from system restore point.
I performed a clean boot after installing the feature and it still couldnt boot to windows.. it just sits at windows logo and then restarts a few times and then launches the startup repair. Once the startup repair begins, the only way I can get into windows
is restoring to a system restore point from before the hyperv feature install.

I logged a job with asus support and their response was:
"Clear CMOS and ensure virtualisation technology is turned on in BIOS. If it still doesn't work, seek assistance from Microsoft"
Previously asked this question but took a while to get back to update with the logs and it was listed as Answered.
This issue is still existing and I'd appreciating any assistance.

CSA : Cluster not started after installing CSA 6.0.0.209

After installing CSA 6.0.0.209 on Win2003 Server,
the cluster service is not started.
The server said that the network connection service is not started.
The CSA is registered in the Management Center.
And the group is in LEARN MODE.
What is the source of this problem?

First off, do you get any events from that machine in the csamc ? If not, does it solve the problem if you disable csa and try to start the cluster service ? If so, then you could have a deny rule that has no log (even though that is highly unlikely if you are using the default policies) Also what clustering software are you using, microsoft or some other 3rd party sw ?

Oracle web tier install+config: opmn does not start after install

Centos 5 box.
After a silent install of web tier 11.1.1.2 opmn will not start. The installation was "complete" but I found some errors in the various log files.
When I try to start a process (for example) using opmn this error occurs in the log file:

The configuration of completed successfully.
Checking a screen shot of someone else's configure output theirs continues beyond
"Bootstrapping OPMN configuration files..."
and correctly generates the instance etc.
I have tried a reinstall, and also tried a generate a new instance using the silent config tool. Same errors each time.
Log also states;
Oracle Instance Home
                        Instance Home Size: 0 MB (or 40mb)
                        Available: 0 MB
. This varies between installs and configs but available is always 0. There is Gb's of space available in the directory and the user has write permissions.
Can anyone tell me why it is failing to correctly generate the wallet?

Solved. Oracle_home and Instance home must be subdirectories of MIDDLEWARE_HOME. MIDDLEWARE HOME and command to not install updates must be added to response file. Helpful to install and configure separately.
