Windows 8.1 pro 64 - scanner software for HP Laserjet M2727nf

How can I install a software like the old "HP Laser scanjet" that works on Windows 8.1 - 64 ?
Please, do not send only a link to hp drivers update webpage, I need an easy way to install the software I had on my cd and now it's not posttible to install with the new operative system.

I need Microtek Artix F1 scanner software for Lion. Any suggestions?

Check VueScan to see if it covers your scanner. Have you checked the Microtek site to see if they have a compatible driver? Or use the Snow Leopard driver you have been using. It may still work.

T61: Windows needs to install driver software for your ATA Device-help!!

Every once in a while after I turn on my laptop I get this message: "Windows needs to install driver software for your ATA Device." WTF? REALLY W-T-F? I am not computer illiterate When I reinstall the driver (from the site) it works. Then I turn on the computer and get the same message. PLEASE HELP... W-T-F?????????

Scanner software for a Canoscan 4400f

I just up graded to Lion 10.7 and he original software that came with my Cannon Scanner a Canoscan 4400f no longer works PowerPC not being supported in Lion etc does anyone know of a universal Free scanner program for Mac's I have Adobe CS5 but they haven't supported scanners for awhile now, any help would be great as I really don't want to throw away a perfectly good scanner.

Have you checked Canon's web site to see if updated drivers are available?

Installation Software for HP Laserjet P1006 on Mac OS 10.8 Mountain Lion

I just need installation software for the HP Laserjet P1006 for OS 10.8 Mountain Lion. The CD which was originally used doesn't work for Mountain Lion. I have only another HP printer on the network (OfficeJet Pro 8600) and need to reinstall software to make the HP LaserJet P1006 work again. The original driver software was inadvertently deleted. I've bee through the Support pages but none address this particular issue.

T 510 Windows 7 64 Pro Can't Activate HP Laserjet 5P

Recently purchased T 510 running Windows 7 Prof. Tried to connect HP Laserjet 5P printer.Checking Microsoft Windows Compatibility site the printer is NOT compatible with Win 7- 64 Prof or 32 bit.Checking HP site it advises and gives instructions to check Windows update for driver.Checking Windows update on the T 510, the HP Laserjet 5P is found and added via the ADD Printer function.Using a USB to Parallel adapter cable and recognized as USB 002, the printer appears under devices as default printer and ready.When attempting to print, no output and troubleshoot status on printer results that print job held up in queue. Clear print job by canceling but same result.The same printer using the same adapter cable prints OK on a HP laptop running Vista and also on an Apple Mac pro notebook., so don't think its the adapter cable.Anybody know if indeed the HP Laser UP is not compatible with Win Proof. 64 even though its listed and accepted thru Windows Update during the ADD printer process or there's something else I'm overlooking such as the adapter cable is not compatible with Windows 7 and need to get another one that is and what to ask for when searching to buy ? Thank you.

TS3147 continuous need to update software for HP Laserjet CM1415fnw

I have a new 27" iMAC and a relatively young 21" iMac. Both devices tell me there is new software for my HP Laserjet CM1415fnw printer every time I check for software updates. In fact, I can update the software immediately after just having updated the software. The printer and Macs are attached to a LAN. Any tips?

Delete the /Library/Printers/hp folder and reinstall the update - it should be okay after that.

Problem downloading software for HP Laserjet Pro 100 Color mfp m175nw

The window xp computer recognizes the hp laserject pro 100, but I can not install the software. I tried using the CD, the hp smart intall and installing it from the website. Nothing works. When it says printer found and it reads this my take a few minutes, it is still on 0% and it has been days. We need the software so we can scan. Thanks for the help

Ok, I have a few questions:
1. Do you have Administrative rights on the computer? If so, try right clicking on the installation and choose to run it as administrator.
2. Was the printer, or any other HP printer, previously installed on this computer?
3. How is the printer connected to the computer (wifi, usb, ethernet)?
4. Have you tried to install any other software recently?

Windows Vista and No Driver Software for Tungsten E2

I have had my Palm Tungsten E2 for a few months. It works fine and did perfectly well with the Windows XP operating system. Recently I changed computers and have Windows Vista. I installed the program from the CD and then was alerted to go to the website to get the newest version to function with Vista. After doing all of this my Palm will not sync with the computer for it states that I need the driver software installed so that it can function appropriately.
I have done searches on teh computer and online looking for this "software" and it is nowhere to be seeen. Is it part of the Palm Desktop software? Is there a special place it is hiding? I followed the instructions on the Palm site regarding where to find the software manually, but could not come across it.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

So you have Palm desktop 6.2? Go to help-about in Palm desktop and look for the version number.
The driver is part of Palm desktop.
You can try this method to see if you can load the driver.
Open device manager on your computer by right clicking on computer, go to properties, hardware and then open device manager. Look under USB devices and see if there is an entry for Palm OS handheld. If you see it, right click on the entry, select uninstall driver. Disconnect the handheld and reconnect. Look at device manager and see if the handheld appears. IF it does then try and Hotsync again.
If it doesn't work, you will need to do a "clean" uninstall of Palm desktop and re-install.
Here are the instructions. Bypass the first step below regarding backing up your data, since you don't have any on the computer.
You should first make a copy of your data to have just in case something
happens. You can find your data files by going to Start --> Documents -->
Palm OS Desktop. Highlight your Palm Desktop username and right click and
copy. Then go to your PC desktop right click on a blank spot and select paste.
Now you want to uninstall Palm Desktop and remove everything that has to do
with Palm Desktop from your computer.
Go to the following locations on the PC and delete the folders listed below.
C:\Program Files\Palm or Palm One
C:\Users\[Vista Login Name]\appdata\local\virtualstore\Program Files\Palm or
PalmOne
C:\Users\[Vista Login Name]\appdata
*Note you may need to view hidden folders to get to appdata. To do that go
into your control panel and open folder options. Go to view tab and uncheck
hide hidden files.
Once this is done you will need to delete some registry keys from your PC Operating System.
Word of warning, going here and deleting the wrong thing can cause your PC
from starting up, crashing and deletion of programs and data. If you feel
you are unsure of yourself, see if you have a friend that can help you or a
PC technician that you can pay to help you. This procedure will show them everything they need to delete. To make sure we have a good copy of the current registry, we need to do a backup of the Registry.
Go to start on the PC, in the search field type "regedit.exe" without quotes.
Highlight COMPUTER, go to File --> Export. Should pop up with a Save As box.
Current location is fine, should be in My Documents or save to a location you will remember. In the file name on the bottom type "backup[todaysdate]" i.e. backup07072008. Next, the hard part.
The easiest way to make sure your working with the correct key, highlight the key i.e. palm quick install, and press delete on your keyboard. It will ask you, are you sure. Say yes. Do the same thing for all keys below.
If you make a mistake, stop what you are doing. And call a PC technician.
BUT do not turn off your computer.
The reg keys are as follows (Note: some of theses reg keys will not be here
but if they are delete them)
* HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\U.S. Robotics\Palm Quick Install
* HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\U.S. Robotics\PalmOne File Transfer
* HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\U.S. Robotics\Pilot Desktop
* HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Palm
* HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Palm, Inc.
* HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PalmDesktopAutorun
* HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\palmOne
* HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PalmSource
* HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\PalmSource or anything else that says palm
Next reboot your computer.
Then reinstall your palm desktop from the CD and do a hotsync. If it asks
you for a username and you synced your device before, put in 'test" if you
did not sync before create a hotsync name.

HP Color Laserjet Scanner software for Win 7 64 Bit

I am able to print with the standard windows drivers which auto install when printer is connected. However I am unable to scan as the Windows scan and fax program simply hangs whenever I attempt to scan. Also I have noted that the Windows scan and fax program does not allow me to scan as PDF.
Is the software available for this machine toallow me to get full funtionality out?
All help appreciated.

I understand that you're not able to scan properly with Windows 7 64 bit. As you already know, while the Windows scan and Fax program is handy for basic scans, it is not practical if you need to scan PDF Files. I would be more than happy to assist you with your issue; however, I'm going to need a bit more information first.
What colour Laserjet is this in regards to?
How is the Laserjet connected to your computer?
In the meantime, on the HP Support Website there are Full Feature Software and Driver downloads available. Should your Laserjet have Windows 7 64 bit support than you should be able to go to the HP website and download the appropriate drivers as they are required in order to have full scan functionality.

Scanner Software for Mac?

I've been using Nuance PaperPort for years on my PC and absolutely love it. If anyone is familiar with that program and could recommend something comparable for use on a Mac, I would appreciate it. PaperPort is a document management software that works in conjunction with a scanner.

Google, "nuance paperport for mac" and see what you can get right away.
