Windows 8.1 Pro Shows me Identifier/Key ID & I have the Recovery Key File with 48 digits
I also have the password written down on a piece of paper, neither one work. When I right click to unlock the Gold Lock, I type in the password it will not work, then the system shows me "Key IF: FCB##### number, it matchs the key on the digital file.
Not matter what I try I haven't been able to unlock the 1T HD, it did encrypt the few files I had on the drive, then I was adding more, all was fine until I shut it down and tried to log into it the next day. Since then, nothing. Like I said I did save the
file "BitLocker Recovery Key File" no good, won't unlock.Can anyone help?
I even have a copy of it in the cloud

How did you configure the Bitlocker ?Have you configured a password to unlock the drive?
To unlock the Bitlocker drive ,we just need to input the password if we have configured it. If there are letters in the password ,please check whether the caps lock has been enabled .
The recovery key is used when we forgot the password .The identifier ID showed in the inputting dialog should be corresponding with the ID in the recovery key files. Please ensure they are the same.
If the issue persists, the specific drive may have suffered a corruption. Please use Bitlocker repair tool to recovery the data.

And the password, I have tried unlocking the Gold Key Locked drive by right clicking on it in file explorer and also going to the control panel, In both area's I have tried the password phrase and the Recovery Key 48 digits I have in both the Cloud and on

The only thing I did, was when I signed back into the drive I recreated the file, but it shpould not have done a thing because I used the same password phrase.

Do you mean that you can’t use the password and recovery key to unlock the BitLocker encrypted volume?
Have you made any changes before this issue?
Do you receive any error message when you use the password to unlock the volume?
Please double check if you have input the right password and recovery key.
Please check if you have forget that you change the password and recovery key.
Additionally, we could run the command repair-bde to repair drive.
The following example attempts to repair drive C and write the content on drive C to drive D by using the 48-digit recovery password specified. The recovery password should be typed in eight blocks of six digits with a hyphen separating each block.
repair-bde C: D: -rp 111111-222222-333333-444444-555555-666666-777777-888888

If I already have the unlock key for Quicktime pro on my Mac , does Apple gouge me for the full price to get the key to open quicktime Pro on my windows laptop ?

This License does not allow the Apple Software to exist on more than one computer at a time, and you may not make the Apple Software available over a network where it could be used by multiple computers at the same time.

So, it appears that you will need to purchase another copy of it if you want to install it on another computer. -
My old computer crashed and I am trying to download Adobe X Pro on my computer. I have tried to download and the only download I can find is the Adobe XI Pro. Any help would be appreciated. I have the product key but it's not deactivated on my old computer.

Hi, I purchased Acrobat Standard XI, but can only find the CD for windows. I have a mac (I have access to an external CD drive and I have the product keys for windows). I have never installed it anywhere else. What is the best way for me to install it?

I am so sorry to inform you that Acrobat XI Standard is not available on Mac, you can only use it on your Windows computer.

Hello, had to move to mavericks lost quicktime Pro, Need the feature for looping audio sections repeatedly, I have the install Key from my old QT Pro version, any ideas?
If QuickTime Player 7 isn't in the Utilities folder automatically, you can install it separately. See:

If you registered your software, you should be able to retrieve your serial number for logging in to your account at Adobe.com.

With Quicktime 7 Pro for Windows, is there a plug-in or add-on to have the screen recording capability?
Screen recording is not a feature of QuickTime Player 7 Pro (Mac or Windows).
QuickTime X (ten) is Mac only software that does include screen recording features. -
I bought a new Macbook Pro 13 inch in December 2011 and I bought the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium shortly after and installed it on the computer. The other day my friend spilled his drink on my computer and it is now going to cost me $800 to get it fixed so I am considering getting a new one instead of getting mine fixed I'm not sure if the memory is still ok or not either. It didn't get that wet and Apple told me it is more than likely ok but there is no guarantee that they are going to keep the memory when they fix it. So I was wondering if I get a new one if I can install the Suite on the new one I still have the product key and serial number for the Suite. Or if I decide to get mine fixed and the memory is swept, then can I reinstall it on mine after it is fixed? If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank You

Safari 5.1.5 shows .pdf web pages as black. The same thing happens with Firefox, at least with the few pages I've checked. Does this have something to do with an AdobePDF plug-in? I recently had to restore my system from Time Machine backup.
The following appears to have I solved my problem with Safari 5.1.5, 5.1.6 and 5.1.7. I also have Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 installed.

Do NOT allow Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 to perform the "repair" the missing Adobe PDFViewer Plug-in when the window pops up and offers to repair Adobe PDFViewer Safari Plug-in. If Adobe does the "repair," then I can not view .pdf web pages in Safari or Firefox.

Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
When the menubar appears select Terminal from the Utilities menu.
Enter resetpassword at the prompt and press RETURN. Follow
instructions in the dialog window that will appear.

I cannot sync my Firefox 18 desktop with iPad or iPhone browsers. I have tried everything suggested on the Web and have tried safe mode as well. When I enter the three-line synch code, I get a sync failure. I have deleted my account and then set up a new account without success. Manage Account does not appear in the options sync tab. You can find the sync account password and the sync (recovery) key in the password manager on computers where a sync account with a specific e-mail address has been set up.
Look for:

* chrome://weave (Mozilla Services Encryption Passphrase)
You can look at this version of the about:synckey extension that I have modified to show the sync key in current Firefox versions (desktop and mobile).

It sounds like you would like to erase your MacBook Pro and install a new copy of OS X, but the Mac does not boot to OS X Recovery when you hold the Command + R keys during startup.
If your Mac came with OS X Snow Leopard (10.6) or earlier, I recommend referring to the steps in this article:

I just bought a used XP Home Edition software program that has been installed before. I have the Product Key and installation disc. Will I be able to install it on my own computer? Or, is this software (purchased retail) a one time install? Please advise.
Depends on many things.
If your system is Lion, XP can only be installed under VM. BootCamp in Lion only accepts Windows 7.
As to "one use only", if you are referring to OEM ...
A reinstall can trigger the OS to "not register" because "a major component serial number or MAC (the network MAC chip) address" has changed, according to MS databases.
But you can call MS to get the key reactivated, usually/sometimes. It is worth a try, at least, before spending money on another Windows 7 package. But this discussion should end *now* at "maybe" as it treads close to matters that forum Terms-of-Use would prefer we not discuss.
